yo what the is up coming at you with another video today I'm going to show you how to pick a niche for your web design business real quick let me just get into this literally going to take one minute why you should listen to me so my name is Dean I run a web design agency myself last month we did sixty thousand dollars um in the last year alone we've done three hundred thousand or three hundred and fifty thousand dollars in my Niche web design agency that I started less than two years ago so I
know a lot about this and let me first of all say this okay obviously now I sell my websites for 15K um because I'm niched you know I've got proof of this in stripe um all my payments are in stripe you can look at my previous videos but it's it's all there anyways I want to say I'm not selling anything to you this isn't to sell anything to you what I want to do is I want to help you genuinely because it's actually it's part of my it's part of my goals is to lead young

to choose a niche web design agency first of all let's look at what we're going to cover it's um how to choose it why Niche down the factors that you need to consider before choosing your Niche weighing up your best option after we've considered all the factors how to do the research actually choosing the niche and then I've got a super fat juicy bonus for you that uh that I know is going to just help you out so much it's going to make it crystal clear as to exactly what you need to do right now
to the end to actually get your web design agency to where mine is um okay so why Niche down um first of all all niches make good money every Niche makes good money so don't get hung up on this part after this video you'll know everything you need to do to be confident about your Niche some niches are better than others yes and we'll get we'll get into that but why Niche down okay specialization it allows the agency to specialize in a specific industry or Niche leading to a more efficient and effective web development process
right it's because of the fact that I'm Niche down that I have all my Sops my standard operating procedures within my business that I know exactly what the website um sitemap looks like what the content document looks like what the exact step-by-step blueprint is that my project managers need to follow themselves boom let me show you this is the only reason that I'm able to create these badass Sops is because we don't have to reinvent the wheel every time I've got the exact step-by-step process that my project managers need to follow to get the websites

niche and I've gone after it and every single Niche makes money okay and also secondly competitive Advantage it differentiates your agency from competitors and enables you to charge premium prices for specialized Services why can I charge fifteen thousand dollars for my website it's because I know what I'm doing it's because I I drive results it's because I've been in this industry it's because I'm Network it's because people trust me it's because they can see my work so once you do this you have a competitive Advantage don't go General everyone's asking should I go General before
I go Niche no just go straight Niche pick a freaking Niche and go after it that's what you do even if you don't have a business call your yourself you know Med Spa Mavericks and then you go after meds bars that name's taken by the way but anyways better targeting enables targeted marketing efforts towards a specific audience higher conversion rates obviously if you know your audience you can call them out so for me I work with the roofing companies I say what's up rufos this is what I'm gonna do for you XYZ okay enhanced portfolio
it helps build a specialized portfolio that establishes credibility and showcases expertise in a particular niche obviously right referral opportunities obviously guys obviously obviously um so conclusion niching down is essential I used to have a general agency before my Niche web design agency and bruh it was not the same it's not the same it's not the same so factors to consider about your Niche here we go let's consider some factors about the niche okay now these are the questions you need to be asking yourself when you're choosing your Niche okay one have you already done work
in a certain age so look at the niches you've worked at and like look at the ones you really started working in that might be a good indication as to like what you cannot because you're already going in in that direction right okay now here's another question how much money does your Niche make okay it comes in two parts what's the industry size and what's the ticket size I like having Pi ticket size okay like lawyers dentists the doctors um like medspars right like some of the med spas that do like aesthetic surgeries like uh
surgeons you know like for me roofing companies um that's a high ticket size because it's not like a restaurant right um it's because all you need to do is bring them one client and you you're basically paid for you know bring them two clients they're base you're basically paid for but a restaurant that's kind of hard to prove okay how many people do you need to bring through the door and the ticket size is Tiny and the margins suck okay um and then also industry size you want to just make sure that it's not a
too small of an industry that you've got some wiggle room but um also being too big is going to be very saturated and going to be hard to establish yourself so finding something nice in the middle um I wouldn't care too much about industry size honestly I would care more about ticket size because industry size if you read red Ocean Blue Ocean you can still kind of go after a blue ocean where there's not a lot of people in it and you can still absolutely destroy it so here's another question is your Niche Recession Proof
if you choose like trampoline parks I don't know how recession-proof that is I I've built a website for a trampoline park before guess what when covert hit they shut down and I actually had a phone call with the guy his name was Andre and I said Andre what happens if something happens you know and we go to a recession and he said you know what don't worry about it Andre still owes me money okay anyways so I think who makes the most use out of their website B2B or B2 b2e for me uh B2 b2c
sorry for me I like that my clients are b2cy because then the website is nice and branded and big and branded but if it's B2B they don't really use like the website to sell new clients you know um so for me I like b2c because I I like um using factors to to get trust in the general public so for me it's homeowners right when I sell my Roofing websites all that I do is I help roofing companies um seem as trustworthy as possible to homeowners so that they minimize Risk by adopting them by by
choosing to work with them um that they're they're likable that they're known and they're trusted and then we just make it easy for them to reach out that's all that's all that we do and we get some traffic with some good SEO that's all but we know what we're good at so that's b2c so I like b2c I'm sure there's a lot of money in B2B but b2c clients especially if it's high ticket um you know and it's a good industry and it's recession-proof you're going to make a lot of money baby is there a
standardized blueprint for success in your Niche Okay window cleaning versus startups okay what I mean by this is if you choose a niche is the business the same like let's say for example you go after insurance companies there's lots of different types of insurance companies I think insurance is an amazing Niche and I would love to go in it it's Recession Proof it's high ticket size they make a lot of money um but the thing is like there's different types of insurance there's like when you die insurance I forget the name um house cover just
lost cover vehicle all those kind of different types of insurance business cover theft legal like there's so many different types of when people specialize in different things so I don't know if it's going to be the same blueprint but a window cleaning company they there's only so many different ways you can clean a window right so um so it's going to be the same kind of business so I like to go with standardized blueprints because then your Sops can be the same and you can just nail it so what are the cons of your Niche
consider it like okay if I go into this Niche web what's the cons you know like legal websites will need to follow a certain code so I like to go after niches that don't have a lot of like necessarily like legal jargon like insurance companies or legal or possibly even like medical um but there's still a lot of money to be made in those so it's just some things to consider um it's like just think about your cons so think about all these factors maybe create like a Rubik's um on your on your PC in
Google Sheets and like jot down like five niches and then ask yourself these questions in in each column right now let's weigh up let's weigh up the best option so create a short list on Google Sheets yep add any of the niches that come to mind and then pick your top three and do research so so pick your top three based on these concept factors to consider so these are just educated guesses okay but now we're going to do some research boom this is what I love because this is what I've done um are there
agencies in this Niche okay create a Google doc and list five to ten in there with 5 to 10 bullets of feedback from that agency's website Pros cons approach let me show you what I mean so let's say for example I'm gonna go after um let's just say dentist web design okay dentist website design agency now let's see who actually starts coming up because I'm sure there's going to be a lot of people in in Dental there's a lot of people in every Niche you just got to choose you just want to choose the ego
for these guys are running ads so that's number one in the bullet they're busy running ads clutch top Android web designer okay they're also rag number one these people Modern Dental websites let's check these people out so now we can start like seeing uh who am I up against how much are they charging what's what's the what is it looking like immediately I can tell okay it's a clean website it looks good um it's not like ridiculous but it looks good it looks like they know what they're doing it looks like I think these people
definitely make some money you could kick these people's ass you could definitely destroy these people if you wanted to some of our clients they show some of their clients it's a pretty basic website you know okay there's one there's another one shit's whack shit's whack and there and they're the ones busy okay there we go boom okay there we go it's starting to look really good now this one's this one's looking really really really really really good um so there's a lot of money in all of these niches these guys are doing it right so
go and put some research into a document what are they doing they're showing their portfolio um it looks good view live but it looks really good so they know what they're doing I don't think that these are as high ticket as my websites they don't look custom but they look good nonetheless it looks really good they're calling out their service providers frequently asked questions very good website I love this one absolutely love this one you could use this formula for any Niche really okay so do some research guys um let's see now secondly once you've
done some research on the agencies and you kind of know where you're gonna fall in you're like okay this is who I'm up against that's okay there's always going to be competitors always I have some big competitors I know that personally I know them they know me too by now even though I'm so small compared to them but we're gonna get there we're gonna kick some ass guys by the way if you want to support me just little caveat if you want to support me add me on Facebook and whenever I post something just like

I've shown you but um yes go check it out it's got so many gems um here we go bang okay so I've just typed into uh Google onto Facebook Dental owners Boom the dental made took 138 000 people Dental Community Dental Assistant Community Dental entrepreneurs so many people going to the group see if it's popping okay they're on Facebook create a Google sheet go check out that video that I showed you on how to uh on how to get clients okay bang done guys we found it so that now that you know where they hang
out when you watch that other video You're Gonna know exactly how to message them Target them land your first client land your second one increase your prices all the good I've just laid it out all for you so now we need to do next we need to choose we need to choose your Niche based on all of this make an informed decision decision and go with it just go with it become that guy post on Facebook hey I am now the dental website guy I am now the hair transplant guy the hair transplant website guy

go and create your own website use Elementor use my siteground link create your own website for your Agency use that blueprint that I've just shown you by this company I'll make I'll make an agency blueprint for you to to build your own website but for now go ahead and create your own website even if it's just the landing page I am the dental website guy okay career often offer so you want to get so write some DM scripts and write some email scripts that's all all in my other video easy okay but this this is

work so I've had very few people not want to pay me okay then what you do is you start working for free up front you say hey I'll do the work up front if you don't like it you don't pay if you like it you pay then once you do that then you start working for for cheaper then you start charging upfront deposits whatever it is then you start making your portfolio improve your service charge more repeats build out a team start scaling systems processes create content help people be a good human start scaling bang
