YouTube videos forever each day more than 72,000 hourss of video are uploaded to YouTube which is about 3 million videos most of those videos are in English technology has always been a story of human Ingenuity and that's the [Music] issue this circle shows the entire world this small part shows how many of those people can speak English this means that most videos on YouTube can't be easily watched by people around the world in 2022 this team from Google started testing this new tool called allowed on YouTube videos this let some channels add multiple dubbed audio

tracks to their videos they could hire their own voice actors which cost a lot or they could use Google's new AI okay so this is what the AI voice sounds like now if you don't speak any of these languages you might not be able to fully appreciate how great this is so you're a Creator you want to make content for people to watch no matter where they are or what language [Music] they if you listen closely you'll notice that the AI can separate the Creator's voice from the music and sound effects this makes it possible

to add more audio tracks without messing up the rest of the sound this works so well that creators who used to upload their videos to different channels for each language could delete those channels and combine Their audience onto one channel it also did this this and this now that the 80% of the world who do not speak English could watch their videos in their own language their views went up a lot and people around the world started subscribing this is the new feature YouTube is now giving to all creators once you have access you'll see

this new automatic dubbing option on the video Details page English videos can be dubbed into Spanish Portuguese French Italian and more videos in these languages can also be dubbed into English you can choose which languages will automatically be dubbed when you upload and there's an option to opt out if you want to in this update YouTube also added a new feature called expressive speech this technology captures the tone and emotion so the dub version sounds the same this is what the AI voice sounds like this video will was originally in Portuguese and this is being
