you've probably watched countless videos like this one before that give you some gimmicky solution or some get-rich quick scheme that seems too good to be true maybe someone's told you to sell a Drop Shipping product that's probably illegal in 58 different countries or maybe you should put all your life savings into this brand new cryptocurrency they're suddenly backing or maybe you should sell weight loss tea from a multi-level marketing scheme to your vulnerable grandmother and my personal favorite is maybe what you should do is buy a course buy my course so that you can learn
how to make $10,000 a month by teaching other people how to make $10,000 a month by teaching them how to make $10,000 a month this online space has gone crazy and I'm sure that you're probably looking for a shire solution to make money without selling your soul scamming people or giving your grandmother diarrhea or something like that and you probably just want a no guy by someone who's actually done it to explain it so in this video I'm going to give you everything I know about how to go from0 to $10,000 a month without using
any gimmicks question able strategies Dody business models and we're just going to get straight into it so we're going to go through nine things in this video and each one is just as important as the one before it these are in no particular order you need to know everything so we're going to start with the four components so what are the four things that you need to have in place to make $110,000 a month because there are only four then we're going to go through nine brutal truths so nine things that you need to know
that are they're not comfortable to say the least but I need to explain them to you because your expectations need to be set properly we're going to talk about how money actually works and the law of making money we're going to go through timeline expectations I'm going to tell you exactly how long this is going to take and what you need to expect I'm going to give you the best Niche and the best Market literally the best thing that you can go into we're going to get into the best business models and exactly what business
model you should pick for your scenario and your situation then we're going to get into the six figure founder so who do you have to be to make this thing happen what do you have to change about yourself cuz trust me there's going to be a lot and then we're going to get into the main stages of 0 to 10K months so like what are the actual steps you know that you're going to have to go through to get 10K a month and then last but not least I've got 10 pitfalls mistakes that I personally
made that drastically slowed my progress down to 10K a month each of these topics could be a video in of itself but I want to spare you having to scour the internet for random information so we're going to do all in one F swoop so first things first we're going to talk about the four components of 10K a month now we can basically and I don't want to talk too much of back to here we can basically break $10,000 a month into a very simple equation that if understood can be leveraged to make a ton
of money and the equation looks something like this and bear with me so first of all we have the market then we have the model then we have the person and all of these things are to the power of time if we take a good Market a growing Niche a good Niche if we take a a good business model a proven business model that actually has been proven to work and a good entrepreneur or someone who's willing to learn someone who's hungry to learn and we apply time to these three equations the outcome is 10K
a month and so that's why in this video I'm going to give you the markets you should go into I'm going to show you how to pick a business model and I'm going to show you which person you need to become and so this is the first part of this video it's super short and sweet and I'm trying to keep it concise but if you have these three things and you have this thing and you add them all together in this little mixing pot and you do it for long enough and you do it in
the right way then this is the outcome you're going to get so the second thing we're going to talk about after that lovely little equation is the truth the actual brutal harsh Cold Truth I'm not here to sugarcoat things and tell this is going to be easy and that you can get it done in one month I'm here to tell you the rle truth so let me do that right now so there are nine harsh truths to making $10,000 a month and you're probably not going to like any of them but it's important I tell
you them because if your expectations are out of alignment with what actually happens you're going to quit so the first thing that you need to understand about getting to 10K a month it cannot be done quickly okay this is not an overnight thing I know it's a cliche to say that there's no such thing as a get-rich quick scheme but that's the truth these things take time you're looking to make the same amount of money as a fully qualified doctor or engineer or software engineer and it would take someone like that 10 years of training
and education and career manipulation to get to that that point where they're making six figures so if you want to do this it can't be done quickly you can't do it in the next 3 months it takes time the second truth which is also a bit appe peill to swallow is that there are no shortcuts okay there's no magic pill there's no Silver Bullet there's no one crazy thing that's going to come along and completely change your life and help you win the lottery of business so to speak these don't exist it's step by step
waking up every day and sticking to one thing consistently for years on end painfully to make it work I know that you've seen the lifestyle Vlogs of people going to noou and you know the Instagram lifestyle of the entrepreneur it's not real all right it's a marketing strategy advice to sell you something trying to get the $110,000 a month is going to really really suck it's going to be painful and it's going to hurt and take this from someone that's actually done it it's one of the most difficult things I've ever done in my entire
life I'm not trying to discourage you I'm just trying to prepare you you're not going to be on a yacht with 10 moven models with 100 Grand on your wrist and just kicking back drinking cocktails no you're going to be up at 3:00 in the morning desperately stressed about a client account unable to sleep because you've got 700 things going through your mind constantly getting burned out and sick because you're overworking yourself it's not pretty and it sucks now the fourth thing if that wasn't bad enough is you are going to lose friends there are
people in your life right now that you are going to lose on your journey to $10,000 a month whether you like it or not you're probably going to cut your Friendship Circle in half if not by 80% so be prepared for this you're going to lose friends the next thing as well is and this is kind of a tricky one is your health is going to be temporarily sacrificed now you should never intentionally sacrifice your health but your cortisol and stress levels are going to go up you're going to sleep less you're going to start
to cut Corners with your diet you're not going to make as much time for the gym like this thing's really going to test your body and so I want you to expect this that you're going to have more brain fog than usual you're going to be more tired you're going to become more emotional you're going to become more stressed you know this is going to happen and your health is going to naturally decline you're not going to end up in a you know in a hospital bed at least I hope not right but you need
to be prepared for this if you're not in a healthy place now apply a business to your life you're going to be pretty damn unhealthy so the sixth thing is sacrifice there are things you love doing in your life right now that simply have to go that game you play that series you watch that YouTuber you subscribe to basically anything that isn't your health or your close Rel relationships like your family or your best friends is going to have to be sacrificed you're going to have to get rid of a ton of stuff that you
don't want to get rid of that you swear that you need in order to grow the business and if you're not willing to do this you simply will not win now the next thing is that no one is coming when I started my first business I got an office for £300 or $400 a month and I sat down in that office on the very first day and I was sat in my Ikea desk with my Ikea you know chair and I had all my affirmations on the wall and stuff and it suddenly dawned on me
I am now in business for myself no one's coming for me no one's coming to save me no one's coming to help me like there's no safety net there's nothing to fall back on there's nothing that's going to jump out and save you no one's coming for you you're on your own no one can help you you know there as an entrepreneur there are no employee rights or pension contributions there are no safety nets there are no sick days there are no holidays there are no bank holidays no one's coming for you no one's coming
to help you on your own and you have to know this it's a dark path it's going to be lonely and difficult and I'm just telling you the truth the eighth thing which is going to be a tough one for you to hear is that it's all your fault so when you start a business and try and make $10,000 a month suddenly everything becomes your fault it's not the government it's not the matrix it's not your boss because you don't even have one anymore it's not like your parents it's not that back pain you have
it's not your anything the reason you are where you are now and not where you want to be is because of you and no one else and until you're willing to admit this and internally blame yourself for every problem in your life you're never going to have control and the key to business success is being able to take full responsibility for everything that happens in your business and your life and you have to recognize it's your fault and the last thing is weakness so what this means basically is that every single weakness vulnerability stress point
issue problem that you have with yourself is is going to be tested and exposed and so if you have a problem in your personal life right now if you put a business on top of you that problem is going to be scaled on a proportion you can't even begin to understand so if you have an anxiety of talking to strangers and you put a business on top of you that thing is now going to be out in the open for everyone to see exposed and you're going to be vulnerable everything bad about you is suddenly
going to be Amplified and that's fine because a business is a very very good tool for personal development and you will fix it through that but just be prepared the gurus who try and sell you the 997 courses and the 7 $70 a month Discord communities they don't tell you this they know it but they don't tell you because well if I'm telling you this now you're less likely to buy my course because you don't want to do it a lot of you are going to look at this and think God damn I don't know
if that's for me and if you think that this isn't for you and you know you don't want to lose any friends you don't want to go through pain you're always going to be looking for shortcuts and you think it can be done quickly and also you want your health to always be pristine and perfect you're not willing to sacrifice anything you want people to sort of save you and you're not willing to take responsibility and you don't want your weaknesses exposed then this is not for you and you should click off the video and
I know that's not a good YouTube retention strategy or a good cor sale strategy but it's the truth okay so now that we've got the truth out of the way which is usually a good place to start we're going to talk about the third thing which is how does money actually work like what is 10K a month what does this look like and how what what is money what the hell is this thing this is random arbitrary abstraction that we've created to organize our social hierarchy it doesn't really exist so how the hell do we
understand it well it's very straightforward what you need to understand is that money a first principle is exchange and what this means is that if you want to make money then you have to give something in return and the thing that is basically exchanged for money is value okay and so if we ask ourselves you know how does this thing work well we exchange money for Value in every single consumer or business transaction that ever happens and what is value because you know people throw this word about and no one really knows what it means
well value is created when pain is alleviated can't spell right value doesn't even exist it's only in the perception in the mind of a human and so we perceive things to be valuable when they alleviate pain from our lives but then the question is well how do I create a product that alleviates pain from someone's life so I can create value to make money well pain is alleviated when problems are solved and so if you scroll down if you um if you head on down to the supermarket or the grocery store and you're thirsty well
you're in pain so if you go into that store and you buy a bottle of water and you drink that water then the problem of your thirst has been solved your pain has been alleviated and you have now experience the creation of value and you will pay in return for that to happen and so this is how we make money we create value by solving problems to alleviate pain and a pretty simple way for you to look at this is to imagine that this person here represents a potential customer of yours or someone that you
could make money from and inside of their life which is this circle they have what we call pockets of suffering or pockets of pain and these are basically things in their life that aren't going all that well that they want to get rid of and solve and what these represent are basically business opportunities for you to come in and in essence solve and add value and so think of a human being and their life economically the same way that an oil company would see oil field we have these little pockets of oil that we can
drill down into and basically extract value from and make a ton of money and so what you're doing in business is you're going to a certain person or a group of people like a niche or a market you're looking at their life you're looking at what painful problems they have and we're extracting value out of these painful problems and basically by removing them we extract the value and in exchange this person will give us their money that's how money works it's an exchange between these things and it revolves around the first principle of Human Condition
which is pain avoidance and it was Freud that found that one out so when it comes to Value extraction in terms of online business and making money online there's five different levels at which we can extract value to make money so the first two levels of value extraction online are super low ticket and low ticket and this is basically ticket determines the price or the price range of the product you're selling and so super low ticket is going to be a product that costs anywhere between $1 to $100 and so when we're selling a super
low ticket product we can only extract $1 to $100 worth of value from that person low ticket itself is referring to $100 to $1,000 and so if you sell a course or a program or a service that cost between this point then you're selling a low ticket product and you can only extract low ticket value now the third thing this is kind of where we start to get a little bit more interesting is mid ticket so a mid ticket product is typically going to be a product where you're charging anywhere between $1,000 to $3,000 okay
and so when you're charging mid ticket you're extracting 1,000 to 3,000 units of value it means you're solving a problem that is so painful that someone will pay $3,000 or $1,000 or $2,000 for it now after this you can probably see where this is going these two are pretty straightforward High ticket is anything between $3,000 to $10,000 in terms of price point and super high ticket is anything between $10,000 to $20,000 plus you can find examples and exceptions here where there's going to be people that charge outside of this and more but generally speaking if
you're starting an online business you're going to work your way through these price structures and so in the beginning if you're trying to make $10,000 a month don't try and figure out how to make $10,000 a month just try and figure out how to make one like it's all about momentum and it's about baby steps because you're probably intimidated you're like how the hell am I supposed to figure out how to sell something for $10,000 it's like well you're not because you need to figure out how to crawl before you can walk before you can
run before you can Sprint okay and so at the beginning of your business Journey you're probably going to start either here or here where each customer is only worth a couple of hundred doar to you and this is why in the harsh truth I'm telling you this thing takes time you're going to start by not making much money at all and it's going to feel like you're putting all this effort in to make so little back and that's because we start at a low level of value extraction because you don't have much value to add
you don't really know what you're doing you're not an expert or anything yet so we have to start at the beginning otherwise people's expectations of what they receive if you charge $20,000 for someone you better deliver 20,000 units of value if you charge $1 for something you can get away with delivering one unit of value it's not that difficult right and the bigger the discrepancy between the value you add and the price you charge is how successful your business becomes and so if I charge $10,000 to you for something where you perceive you've received $50,000
worth of value in terms of that paying extraction then you're going to pay again and again and tell everyone about it so what we can do with these little um buckets of price is we can start to deduce well how many customers do we need to have to actually hit this goal and so you know if it's over here then you need between you know a th000 to 100 customers to hit 10K a month and then you know you can do the math all the way down to just needing One customer here maybe you need
three customers here or two customers sorry um three customers here or four customers here here you might just need two customers and so what this means is that there's more leverage in price than anything else because if you know how to charge 10 grand to make 10 grand Grand a month you only need one customer but if you know how to charge $100 then you need like a 100 customers or if you charge $10 you need a th000 customers and sometimes it's just as easy to get someone to pay 10 grand for something than it
is $100 requires just as much effort in terms of your time energy expenditure so think about that so your ability to Traverse this down here as fast as possible with your business is going to determine how quickly you get $10,000 a month the FAS you can improve your thing to add more units of value and solve more pain so you can charge more and create more value make more money it's so important and so there's four things you need to know to to to move down this Gap and there's four things that allow you to
charge more so the first thing is basically how much pain is actually like this person in like how much suffering are they going through because like for example if you were walking down into a supermarket or a grocery store and someone tried to charge you $10,000 for a bottle of water like if you're in the middle of a desert and you're about to die you'd probably pay 10 grand for a bottle of water because it's you're in a huge amount pain but if you're just wandering down the street and you're a little bit thirsty you
might pay like $2 Max and so the amount of pain someone's in will determine how much they're willing to pay same thing if you broke down in the middle of the street in a really rough neighborhood in your car and it's like 3:00 in the morning and you call a mechanic and they're like your whole family's in the back and the mechanic's like I can come and get you but it's going to be like $4,000 any other day of the week you tell that mechanic to piss off but because you're in so much pain and
so much fear you're willing to pay more and so Pain's the first thing that allows you to charge more the second thing is availability and so availability is basically how many other products exist and do what you do in a good way and so a primary example here could be antibiotics like an antibiotic you could be about to die like a doctor could say you're going to die and you're going to perish if you don't take these antibiotics and then you might say well why are the antibiotics like $20 or $30 or $100 it doesn't
seem like a lot to pay to save my life and it's because there's so many companies they're so available that the price has been driven down significantly in the same way that most consumer goods are very cheap it's because there's so many of them and so many options and then the other two things that determine how much you can charge is basically the quality of the result you get and the depth of the solution so the quality of the result you get is basically how well does this thing work like how easily do you get
the outcome that someone wants as a result of using your product and how does it solve their problem how holistic of a solution is it and so if you have these four things if someone's in really high pain there's low availability you can get them exactly what they want and you can solve that problem as deep as possible to the root of it you're not just solving symptoms you're solving causes like antibiotics for example like maybe you've got a headache because of your infection and the doctor gives you Ibuprofen it's not a very strong deep
solution because it solved the symptom but not the Cause right and so if you have these four things you can charge a super super high ticket and this is how you get get so much leverage at the beginning of your journey don't worry about trying to charge as much as possible just stay up here once you've got enough leverage and enough understanding and enough pain and less availability and good results try and move down here as fast as possible so the point I'm trying to make here is that getting to 10K a month is not
about making money it's about solving a problem for a group of people really well and if you focus on that and you focus on creating value by alleviating pain and solving problems then you're going to make way more money than if if your entire focus is just on you know money money money okay so now that we've talked about how money actually works let's talk about how much time it's going to take for you to actually make this and I can give you a pretty damn straightforward answer here 12 to 36 months with an average
of probably 2 years the reason people fail is because they quit and the reason they quit is because their expectations of what they can achieve in the time from which they can achieve it are out of alignment with what's actually possible I'm telling you now if you want to go from zero to 10K a month it's going to take you one two or maybe even 3 years you can't get it done by June in the next three months people always do this they say you probably do this you probably say I want to make $110,000
a month by and then you insert a month that is two or three months away that is so deeply irrational and you kind of know it but you cling on to that desperate need for the money right now this is how long it's going to take you and that's that so now that you've got your expectations set now that you know how money works and now that you know how long it's going to take and it's going to be painful and everything we can actually start getting into some strategies here so we're going to start
with the market so in other words like what's the best um Market to pick because before you select your business model and before you pick what business you actually want to go into you need to pick the market because Warren Buffett says it does not matter how hard you row it matters What boat you are in and what that quote basically means is if you're in a if you're in a Rowing competition and you're in like a really heavy bad boat with leaking holes and you know it's it's just not a good boat it's just
a terrible boat you can roll as hard as you want that boat is not going to go very fast if you're in a boat that is made of carbon fiber and it's perfectly put together and engineered you can row really gently and you'll go real quick and so this is the same thing is true with a business in the market if you're in a terrible Niche or a terrible market then it's going to be significantly harder for you to become successful and so for example if you work with students then you're probably going to struggle
because students don't have any money or if you work in the newspaper Market you're going to struggled because newspapers are going out of fashion and so it's important that we understand what makes a good market and so you can pick one right now so when we're coming to pick a niche or a market to pick ourselves in the first thing we're looking for is validity okay and Market validity will be determined by the questions I'm going to give you in a second here so how is this Market actually valid how do I know if it's
actually appropriate and going to be a good news to go into the next next thing is your skill set and then your interest and so what you're trying to do when you select a niche is you're looking at the validity this is the most important thing this is going to result for 80% of the results will come from the validity right but what you're doing is you're looking at your skill set and your interest so what am I interested in what am I good at and which markets are good and if you can find the
overlap of all these three things then you're in what I would call Niche Nirvana which is where you're in a market that's good that's actually going to help you make money you're also interested in that market which means you get to work with people that you like and you're good in that Niche already you already know something that you know they can do now you don't necessarily need the skills if you're not if you don't have a skill set right now that's going to help a valid market and make money and grow and stuff that
doesn't matter too much the main thing is the validity in your interest but if you can have skills as well you'll be even more successful so what are these questions for um for Market validity and how do you know if a niche is possible cuz I told you I'm going to give you the best Niche but the truth is that the best Niche is the one that you've stuck to for like 3 years and that's the best Niche to pick but in order to pick you need to know what makes a good Niche so let
me explain so there's six questions the first one that you should ask is is this Market growing so like an example would be like the online fitness Market that thing is growing like like weeds in a garden that thing is just rapidly expanding day by day same thing with like AI or cyber security or electric cars or solar Farms like you want to be in markets or you want to be in Industries that are booming and are growing now the next thing you want to do is you want to validate the market by making sure
that they're actually in pain now nearly every Market is going to have Painful problems but you need to actually ask yourself do these people have problems that I can solve do they actually like suffer are they actually in pain pretty much always yes is going to be the answer but you need to be sure that they actually are the third thing is financials so in other words is this Market broke or not you know like it it might be a nice sentiment to tell yourself I want to start a business helping um homeless people or
students or you know orphans or something like that that might be like a nice thing to want to do but those markets they don't have any money they don't have anything to invest so if you were like I want to help homeless people become like remote closers or the sales people and get them off the streets and stuff that it's a charity because they haven't got any money to pay you and the same thing is true with students so you could say I'm going to start a course that teaches students how to study it's like
well the students don't have any money that's like a renowned thing about students and so you need to make sure that the market is financially qualified because as we move towards the higher ticket prices people need to be able to buy them so it's very important you you qualify this the next thing is the magic number which is 30,000 plus are there more than 30,000 people in this Niche because if there's not you're not going to be able to make content for them because the algorithms won't even entertain you in the light of day you're
not going to be able to run ads to them because you're not going to be able to Target them because they're so so few of them and after a couple of weeks or a couple of months you're going to run out of people to reach out to to cold and so if there's not more than 30,000 people in this niche in this group of people there's not much point in trying to start a business in there the next question is competition so are there competitors in this Niche now most people will probably mistake what I'm
trying to say here you want competition you do not want a Blue Ocean strategy where you get into this Market where there's no competition at all and I'll give you a simple anal to explain this imagine that you are a goldfish okay and you're looking for a pool or you're looking for a pond to live in okay and you've got five options and let's say four ponds have other fish in them that are thriving and there's like a basic stable ecosystem with some compostition one Pond has no fish in it at all and it's just
this blue ocean with no fish and all this stuff well most people would say oh if I was a goldfish I'd pick the pond with no no other fish in it because there's no competition right well you'd be stupid to do that because there's no sign of life there's no evidence that life is actually possible inside of that inside of that pond or inside of that environment and so the same thing is true when you're trying to pick a business Niche um you want to make sure that you've got comp competitors because you want to
validate that the niche actually works by seeing that people have made it work if there's no evidence of that then I wouldn't even bother trying because you're going to have to start from scratch and figure out from nothing and it might not even be possible so why should I and then the last thing to qualify a niche here is Target oh and I should put this in a red pen just to say on brand here so targetable means can you actually find the people in this Niche can you find their phone numbers can you find
their emails can you find their social handles do they even exist online in the first place if they're not targetable then how are you going to get clients how are you going to ask them if they need help you're just not going to be able to do it right so so those are the six things that qualify whether or not a niche is good or not and it's up to you to pick one that suits your skill sets and your interests and then basically validate it against these questions and if a market has all six
of these things and it needs all six of them because if it doesn't you're probably going to fail then it has validity and that's how you pick the best Niche for you so now we've got the market in place we're going to actually start looking at what business model to pick and there's 13 that you can choose from that I've trolled through to find for you that I've validated will actually work okay so I'm not going to tell you one shiny object is going to fix all your problems I'm going to give you some options
and you can pick which one resonates with you the best the thing about business models and the thing about deciding what you want to do is it helps to not reinvent the wheel instead of looking for some crazy business model or some crazy thing no one's ever done before just pick something that already works and I know that there's an argument against this for like saturation and stuff but if it was that saturated people wouldn't become successful so let's just pick one okay so there's 13 different models that have all been proven by thousands of
people that you can choose and I'm going to give you them here so the first one you know trumpets please learn behold is smma so social media marketing agency where you're running paid media and and basically building marketing funnels for local businesses same thing kind of applies here with the SEO agency where you're doing search engine optimization for local businesses or for other people in a certain Niche content agency is where you're creating long form or short form content for people as a done for you service we've got video editing agency pretty self-explanatory right then
we've got the funnel agency which is basically where you build marketing funnels and you specialize in very specific funnels like tripwire funnels or vsl funnels for a specific Niche and then the last one of this part of the list is AAA which stands for the AI automation agent where you become an expert in how to automate businesses and components of different businesses so the next seven on this slightly disorganized and messy list are web design we were doing website design for agencies I personally don't like this one I've included it because it's valid and it
works but you run into a lot of problems because a lot of businesses just don't need a website they need a funnel so it usually makes more sense to do the funnel thing but you can do that what you will copyrighting agency where you're basically a professional copywriter whether it's email copywriting blog copywriting whatever it is you're writing words that say sell things right appointment setting agency where you're doing outbound or inbound appointment setting for businesses this is basically where you're setting appointments or sales calls so the business can basically get customers um growth operator
agency so growth operator agency is basically where you take a uh influencer or someone who's got an audience and you teach them how to monetize Their audience and sort of partner with them where they bring the traffic and you bring the operational skills to grow the business then we have high ticket sales so this isn't really a business it's more of a skill You could argue the same thing with copywriting growth operating employment setting these aren't businesses they're skill sets that basically allow you to become a highly paid freelancer if that makes sense so high
ticket sales is where you basically become an expert in selling High ticket programs where you go to businesses like mine for example and you say hey if you pay me a percentage of the commission of what I close then I will obviously help you make money then we've got consulting or coaching where you're doing one-on-one coaching whether it's dating coaching mindfulness coaching could be literally anything and then last but not least we've got a community community is an interesting one because this is massively on the rise this is going to Trend in 2025 where we've
got the rise of school which I know and love and you might know and love at this point and basically this is where you you build a community a low ticket Community typically um where people who have Affinity or are similar to each other can share a space in a forum online and have fun and so you know you can charge $30 a month for you know professional female bodybuilders just so they can be in a group with other people like them people will pay for that and it's a good business model to potentially pursue
in the future you can't go high ticket with it but it is possible to make 10K month with enough volume and traffic and so those are the 13 models the truth is my friend it does not matter which one you pick all that matters is that you do and there's really two rules pick and stick and the same thing is true with a niche you pick one and you stick to one you might be looking at some of these business models and being like smade has it doesn't work or copyrighting doesn't work or AA doesn't
work because I tried them they didn't work well I'm sorry mate but this isn't all about you all right just because it didn't work for you doesn't mean it doesn't work they say 9 out of 10 business business fail but the truth is that N9 out of 10 entrepreneurs fail the business model is never the problem for as long as someone on the planet exists who's been able to make one of these models work it's possible and the model works if it hasn't worked for you it's because you didn't work not because the business model
didn't work so that's a harsh little wakeup call that some of you might need to hear so really all you've got to do now is just pick a model because there's no magical science behind finding the best one because they all work like I said we can probably take web design out of the equation unless you're extremely talented at web design and sales but the rest of them you can pretty much pick anyone you want and just throw a dart and close your eyes and just point and then just stick to it for 3 years
and you'll probably make 10 grand a month so the seventh point of this video is the person because if you remember at the beginning we have this equation of Market model person times time right and so the person is imperative because this is really what it's all about so the reason the person's important and the person in case you can't tell it's you you're important right whether you like it or not is because you don't try to make $10,000 a month don't try and do that try and become the person that can imagine you're playing
a video game and you spawn in and you're level one and your goal for the video game is to defeat a level 100 Dragon the only way you're going to defeat that dragon is by leveling your character up you don't you're not focused on defeating the dragon and finding the best strategies to defeat the dragon you're focused on building the character so the character is capable of defeating it the same thing is true in business if you want to get to $10,000 a month stop trying to get to $10,000 a month instead invert it and
focus on yourself how can I become the person that easily makes that happen so just understand that we don't achieve goals we achieve identities or characters and by the achievement of the Identity or character the goal comes around so obviously it's all good and well me telling you that you have to become he or she who can but how do you actually do that well what we can do handly enough is break break this down into four quadrants right the first quadrant is basically skills the second quadrant is characters or characteristics just making sure you
can see this yes you can um the third quadrant is beliefs and the fourth quadrant is Paradigm now don't worry if you don't know what that means I'll explain in a second but what are you what is a person well there are a collection of skills characteristics belief systems and Paradigm and if we add all these things together we get this abstraction known as the Identity or the Consciousness right so really it becomes a question of what skills do you need to have what characteristics do you need to have what beliefs do you need to
have and what paradigms do you need to have and handly enough I can tell you because I did it you need to have your expertise which is what you're good at to deliver value to solve the problem to alleviate pain for the market kind of goes without saying then you need to know how to sell so you actually know how to communicate that you can do this and give people conviction and confidence to buy then you need to know how to set appointments because if you don't know how to set appointments so that you can
close so you can deliver value you don't have a business and then you need to know how to manage your money because if you don't know how to manage your money you're going to lose it it doesn't matter how much you make it matters how much you keep and if you do all of this to get to $10,000 a month and then you squander it away on rubbish and you don't manage your money properly and it doesn't grow it's all a waste of time and so right now you probably don't have these four skills and
that's fine because just like any skill on the planet whether it's learning a guitar or learning a language you can learn and this is why getting to 10K takes time it takes a couple of years to get really good at these things consistently okay and so you know what you're looking for to develop skills is vehicles of expertise which are basically YouTube videos podcasts books anything that you can find online about these things you should watch and consume as much as you can and everything else you can pretty much thr out the window so the
next thing you have for the person are the characteristics and these are basically character traits okay now the first one is going to be discipline which kind of goes without saying you need to basically be able to discipline yourself and this is basically self-control can you control yourself and your behavior if you can't do this you're not going to make any money the next thing is also a form of control I'm going to write this one down here this is emotional control so emotional control means can you reason properly so do you make decisions out
of emotion and and like just just pure you know irrationality or are you able to derive decisions from logic rationale and reason so don't let your you're not letting your brain just run loose and run wild the third character trait that's going to contribute to 10K a month in terms of your your person is consistency so consistency is just basically just doing it every day even if you don't want to you know it kind of feeds into discipline and emotional control here but is consistency of one thing over a long period of time which also
kind of feeds in to the fourth one which is Focus which basically just means no distractions so not only are you able to sit down now in the hour and the day and work without your phone bleeping off or like your brain going off to try and get a sandwich or something but also can you focus in the year can you keep your eye on the prize can you focus on one goal and one business and you know one thing and this also feeds into one more thing as well which is something that I call
stickability so stickability is kind of a phrase that I've had to invent because no 's talked about this before stickability is how well can you stick to the niche you've selected and the business model you've selected because business success is time and so whether or not you're successful depends on how long you've stuck to the variables you've selected and so stickability is basically a character trait like how sticky are you do you stick to things or do you just sort of give up and have shiny object syndrome and switch nce and switch model and you're
all over the place and if you have these five character traits you're going to nail it now I'm going to add one more as well and that is patience and patience is the ability to you know withstand the pain of delayed gratification which means you're doing lots of work now but not seeing much result immediately but you know that in the long term it's going to pay off and so if you have these six traits pretty much everyone I know that makes 10K a month or everyone I've taught to make 10K a month has had
to develop these traits I haven't really found any exceptions so the third thing we're going to discuss are beliefs or belief systems so a belief is basically a statement of perceived truth and beliefs help us Orient ourselves in the world and they help us basically navigate reality essentially and so what we're trying to do with our belief systems is we're extrapolating the skills and characteristics we need to develop and we're going to build our beliefs around these and so you know right now for example you might have a belief oh I'm not good at sales
right or I'm not good with money or you might have a belief that I'm not a focused person or I'm not a patient person or you might have a belief that you know experts aren't good or that money is hard come by or money doesn't grow on trees you've got all these statements of perceived truth in your head that are going to fundamentally limit your ability to behave in a way that is out of alignment with them in Psychology this is called practice where we give Ascent to belief through action which means that if you
believe something to be true you give yourself no choice but to behave in accordance with it and so if you fundamentally believe that making $10,000 a month just simply is not possible then you're not going to do it because it's impossible to behave out of alignment with your belief and if if you don't believe me just take any emotionally charged belief you have around diet politics or religion and try and behave out of alignment with it you just won't it will make it you will feel repelled by the idea right so belief systems so all
we're trying to do here is take what we have from here and here and say true right and I mean true is in like good so what this basically means is you need to start orienting your identity and believing in yourself and I hate using that phrase but believing in yourself in your ability to adopt these traits and likewise you need to believe that you're becoming an expert you believe that you're becoming a sales genius you believe you're becoming an appointment setting expert and you believe you're becoming a financial genius as well you're not trying
to lie to yourself and say I am a genius at sales or I am a genius at expertise you're talking about who you are becoming you believe in your potential to develop these traits and your potential to develop these skills because if you practiced that for years and years on end eventually like you're going to become an expert because you believed you could right belief is the root of limit and belief is the root of change and so if you want to make a change you change your belief and so we start there so your
Paradigm is basically your world view it's the angle it's the perception you take on reality and what I can tell you is the way that you see and perceive the world is completely different to that of someone like a billionaire or a multi-millionaire or even a millionaire and so the way that someone sees the world at $0 a month is very different to the way that someone sees the world at $10,000 a month and so what we're looking to do is adopt something that we could call the millionaire or the 10K a month Paradigm where
you you need to watch um interviews with very successful very wealthy rich people you need to watch YouTube videos like this because what I'm doing right now really at first principle is parting my Paradigm to you and so you want to expose yourself to as many millionaires multi-millionaires billionaires as humanly possible so their Paradigm and their way of perceiving the reality in the world will start to rub off on you okay and so the way you correct this is basically by hanging around people who are super rich and so just gradually through the process of
just Paradigm transmission they will pass their perception down to you and you can start to leverage that to become more successful and so that's really the person if we nail these four things you become he or she who can and then you will get it so the next thing we're going to talk about are the main stages that are going to get you to 10K a month and there's six of them so stage one is basically where you're learning everything there is to learn about your Niche your business model and the result you're trying to
deliver and the solution you're trying to provide this is where you're absorbing yourself in every piece of information available to you to become a true subject matter expert in the thing you're doing and this is going to take really 3 to six months the second stage is learning how to sell so you need to kind of become not necessarily a sales expert but you need to learn how to convince and persuade people to actually buy your stuff right and this is probably going to take you know one to two months of you know research and
watching videos so you feel comfortable enough to actually get on the phone and start selling to people and then the third thing you need to do is um in stage three is basically package your service and this is just like a day so this doesn't really matter but this is an important stage because now you know how to solve a problem and how to sell the solution of that problem you need to package the solution into what we would call an offer where you can actually make an offer to someone so they can buy and
that stage three might take a day or two pretty straightforward so then we've got stage four which is learning the skill of appointments and how do I actually set appointments right so how do we actually make cold calls or send cold emails or send DMS or how do we make content or run ads to actually make this happen and you know I would give this a good month you know the thing is is truly to learn this this and this might take a couple of months but to actually get good at it and to get
like to become an actual expert in sales it's going to take you a couple hundred sales schols to become an expert in appointment booking you're going to have to book a couple hundred appointments same thing to actually test your expertise you're going to need to get a bunch of clients first but all we need to do is learn these things first then we can start implementing them so here's the thing these stages do not exist in linear order and what that means is that you're not looking to do them step by step you're looking to
do them all at the same time I don't want you to what I don't want you to do is wait 6 months to become an expert before you're actually trying to get appointments and sell so what we should be doing whilst we're learning our expertise in sales and appointment setting is trying as much as we can trying to get appointments trying to get you know sales calls trying to get clients whilst we're still learning because this is all part of the process what you want to do in stage 1 2 3 4 and five here
is we're not trying to charge thousands of dollars and make $10,000 like you know like this we're just trying to get a couple of hundred bucks here couple of hundred bucks there $50 here $6 here just to get your feet wet you know just to start to you know compel people to actually invest and buy right and what we're looking to do during these stages here is create what we call Nob brainer foothold offers so a foothold offer or a no-brainer foothold offer is an offer that you make to a person in your Niche that
just makes total sense like there's no downside for them I'm not talking about offering a free service I'm talking about offering a service for pay and results or pay 10% now 90% when the results have been delivered you know or having some outlandish guarantee or just charging $50 for something that should cost $1,000 right we're trying to just get a foothold which is what this is term we're using climbing the no actually just getting on the wall in the first place so what we're doing in the beginning in these stages is we're not just sitting
behind the laptop and doing research research for six to nine months we're doing that research but in conjunction with that we're making as many no-brainer foothold offers to as many people as humanly possible just so we can start to get some traction and so in terms of these foot hold offers like I said you can use par results you can use crazy guarantees you can say to people I'll work for free and you only pay me if you're satisfied or you pay me and I'm going to give you all your money back if you're not
happy about it you make these offers that entail no risk for the person buying them and so once we've moved on to stage five feedback we need to get some appointments and some sales calls and some clients to start to improve and develop our expertise and you know this is the only way you're going to build a skill is by actually having feedback from customers and from sales calls and stuff like that and so once you've started to acquire these and you've got the skills and you know what to do you start doing it you're
going to get feedback you can improve and iterate and cycle through and then stage six is real straightforward this is like kind of business 101 it's just volume so once you have like a system that kind of works once you've got a a way of getting appointments you kind of know how to close them and you kind of know how to deliver results the more you do this the better you're going to get as the as the months go by with the feedback you're going to continuously iterate and improve by listening to your sales calls
looking at your set appointments looking at your clients and then all you have to do is just increase volume just start doing more of this so you can do more of this and more of this and then what's going to happen is you're going to create this fly wheel where you know you're going to get more clients and become better at what you do so you can get more clients and it's just going to go it's going to go fly fly fly around and then you're going to have this exponential curve so as promised at
the start of the video I'm going to walk you through my top 10 mistakes and the biggest pitfalls to look out for on your journey to 10K a month so the first one you need to watch out for is time expectation so we've talked a lot about this but it's basically expecting yourself to get results really damn quick it's not going to happen it's a massive Pitfall just don't do it the second one which is very similar but of a slightly different tone is impatience okay so impatience is only really going to happen if your
expectations on time a misset because if you expect it to take 2 years it doesn't happen in 3 months then you're going to feeline but these two things are very intertwined and they are the biggest mistakes I see people make the third big one and this is a big one this really gets everyone so this is basically where you know you're a person of low stick ability and you have high shiny object syndrome where you're constantly changing Niche or changing business model don't do it it doesn't work the grass is only Greener where you water
it the fourth big mistake that a lot of people make and I was certainly guilty of this when I was trying to grow at the beginning is entitlement so you know throughout as you're as you're born and go through the education system the standard education system that everyone goes through is very good at making people feel very entitled we've got participation medals you know we've got very low punishment in schools these days and so what this means is when you start a business you might be working on it for like 3 four months and you
start feeling entitled to success like the market doesn't reward entitled people if you think that after a couple of months like why am I not successful yet I'm angry at the market for not giving me what what I want the market is a perfectly Fair judge of character and effort and you have to trust it to reward you but there's a bit of latency a bit of time that has to elapse between you doing the work and actually getting results which is the impatience thing but do not be this entitled person that thinks that the
market owes you anything the fifth thing is listening to your doubts what this means is right now you might feel really confident about starting a business but I guarantee you that after a month or two you're going to have a lot of Doubt creeping in it's going to be 2: in the morning you're going to wonder if it's going to work and it's all going to be worth it ah is this going to work right you're going to have tons and tons of Doubt don't listen to it it's it doesn't exist it's not real it's
just you trying to trick yourself into going back to your old ways so don't listen to the doubt it's going to come for you block it out if doubt that wasn't supposed to be a pun but we'll roll with it so number six is doing anything that isn't appointment booking sales or value delivery so if you're doing anything in your business that is not booking appointments closing those appointments or delivering value for your clients or getting better at any of these three things then you're working on the wrong thing anything you do that isn't these
three things is going to be a waste of time and should be delegated outsourced or eliminated so the seventh thing big mistake people make is low volume of Outreach so Outreach is basically the term we use to define booking appointments using outbound methods cold calls cold DMS cold emails reaching out to businesses asking them if they want our help basically and the biggest mistake people make is they do a low volume of Outreach the only way to get clients and to get lucky is to do as much volume as humanly possible and your business is
restricted by how much of this you do so do as much as you can do not do low volume the eighth thing is overlearning so what you don't want to do is spend the next 12 months learning the art of sales learning the art of appointment booking and learning the art of your expertise because the only way that you're going to actually validate whether or not what you've learned is good or not is by trying to do it and most of the stuff you learn is not going to be correct and so you need to
apply knowledge as quickly as learn it so you can iterate and improve and get that feedback loop going so you can become better at what you do you don't develop a skill by studying the skill you develop a skill by studying how to do it and then going and doing it and so do not overlearn do not spend months behind the laptop without taking any action on the information you've learned very important so the ninth thing is advice from people on your journey people are going to give you advice your parents your siblings your friends
your uncle your auntie your grandmother if they know you're starting a business they have your best interest at heart and they love you and so what they're going to do is they're going to try and give you advice on what you should do in your business do not listen not because they're bad people because they have good intentions right but because you only want to take advice from people who have actually done what you're trying to do or well that's basically it and so if you go downstairs to eat dinner with your family and you
tell them about a problem you've got with your appointment setting system and suddenly your sister pipes up who's never set an appointment in life you should pay attention and give her the light of day but don't actually listen to her you know and this isn't just sisters this is fathers you know this is siblings and stuff like that for example my dad is a financial genius I trust him with my life with my finances because that's been his entire 40-year career but if I went to my dad and asked him hey how do I run
this what creative should I use for this Facebook ad I wouldn't I wouldn't listen to his answer I wouldn't even ask him because it's not his expertise right and so be very careful with who you take advice from because if they haven't done what trying to do they're going to be wrong the last one the big one big old number 10 best till last is quitting I can't even spell the word I hate it that much right quitting the biggest thing the biggest mistake is giving up technically if you don't quit you cannot lose so
don't do it okay so those are the 10 pitfalls the biggest mistakes that are really common that everyone seems to make if you can avoid these as much as possible and you're still going to make them but if you can avoid them as much as possible your journey to 10K a month through that six-stage process will be so much easier filled with significantly less pain and you should get to what you want in a significantly shorter period of time so that's everything for this video I'll see you in the next one
