I'm here with a standard installation of Windows 11. We have all the widgets, the start menu in the classic way with all the Microsoft Store applications installed on the taskbar, we have Copilot and, even, if we come here In Task Manager, we have OneDrve wanting to start automatically, even with a high impact on the PC's startup performance. Anyway, this one is Windows 11 Pro, in the 24H2 version, the way Microsoft tells us.
But now, let me show you a utility that every Windows user needs to know: Chris Titus Tech, Windows Utility. This utility will transform your Windows 11 experience, making it faster, lighter and without all those unnecessary things that only get in the way. Do you know something that also gets in the way a lot?
Do not activate Windows. So activate your original Windows now with GVGmall. GVGmall is a company specializing in OEM keys and licenses for various software, including the Office suite and Windows itself.
And to save even more, just click on the link in the description and use the GVGMD coupon to get another 25% discount. For example, let's buy a Windows 10 Pro license. Enter the coupon GVBGMD, click apply and that's it!
Now Windows 10 Pro will cost just R$85. And the same goes for Windows 11. Let's do the test: click here on buy now, type in the GVGMD coupon, apply it and that's it, discount applied.
Now just go to payment and get your license. To activate it is very simple: just access your Windows settings, click on activation, enter your key and that's it! Your original Windows will be activated.
Okay, let's get straight to the point. If you Google Chris Titus Tech Windows Utility, you will find two main pages: his official website and GitHub. Any of these pages will do; The important thing is the commands you use on them.
So let's access the official website. And inside the website, we will have this command here; Just click on "Copy" and we can close the browser. Now, let's right-click on the start menu and click on "Terminal Administrator" to run Windows PowerShell in administrator mode.
Let's press "Control V" to paste the entire command here and press "Enter". And that's it, the utility will start running on your PC. There's no secret, anyone can run this command without any problems.
And, if you're unsure, don't worry, I'll show you everything, step by step here in the video. You will see how simple it is to make Windows much more efficient with this tool. But first of all, let me explain.
This utility here is not installed on your computer, it runs directly through PowerShell and is hosted on the internet on Chris Titus' website. If you don't know Chris Titus, he's basically a content creator here on YouTube who develops various tools and gives tips to improve Windows performance . He created this tool precisely to facilitate the entire optimization process, so we don't have to manually dig around and deactivate things in the system.
Everything is done automatically and more safely. And, as it is not installed, it runs directly through PowerShell, it will not weigh anything on your system. An extra tip: if you need to, double click here in the empty area to maximize the tool and you can see all its courses.
Or simply double-click the empty area again and it returns to the smaller screen. This is super useful if you are doing other things while the utility is running, because it won't interfere with your work. Another important thing is that, because it is a script hosted on the internet, you don't have to worry about complicated updates or installations.
Just run the command and you'll get everything updated. Now, before starting the adjustments, let me show you a very important detail: how many processes are running right now in my Windows. I'm going to go here to the Task Manager, let's go to performance and look, in my case, we have about 139 processes running .
And that's a lot for a system that has just been installed. And it is these processes that They often end up slowing down the PC, consuming memory and CPU unnecessarily. So let's get started.
I'm going to close the Task Manager and we're going to start with the "Install" tab, which is exactly the first tab. This is where the magic begins: you will install several programs at once on your PC. You will have programs here for everything.
Here we will have browsers, communication programs, document management programs, games, software development, multimedia, and so on, utilities – everything you need with a single click. For example, if you want to install 7-Zip, just select the 7-Zip option here and click install. Two terminal windows will open, one showing the program interface and the other with PowerShell, showing exactly what is being done.
And look, it just finished the installation automatically. Let's see if 7-Zip is really here? 7-Zip: installed.
So, if you configure multiple PCs, this tab will save you a lot of time. You will simply mark all the programs you want to install on your computer and click on "Install", and then it will continue carrying out the entire installation automatically. You can also create a preset by selecting all the programs you always install, clicking here on the gear and then export.
Here, just select where you want to save this file, for example, on the desktop. I'm going to put the name of the file, just click save and get this file, save it on your pen drive and use it on any PC later. For example, I'm going to delete all the selections, I'm going to click on the gear and now import.
I selected the file, open it and look, it already marks all the files. So another feature that makes our lives a lot easier. Knowing this, let's now take a look at the "Tasks" tab, which is "Windows Settings".
This part is where you will be able to optimize your Windows your way. Here are some recommendations. For example, you can select the "Standard" option and it will mark all these recommended options.
And before starting any tweaks, the utility always creates a restore point automatically. This is great because it ensures that if something goes wrong in the process, you can go back to where you were before. Here you can delete temporary files, disable telemetry – those little things that monitor you all the time –, disable hibernation, activity history , and much more.
Oh, and if you hover your mouse over each of these resources, an explanation of what each one does will appear. Simple and direct, it's in English here, but nothing that a translator won't help you with. Just use your cell phone, point the camera at the computer screen and you already have access to simultaneous translation.
These adjustments here are essential for anyone who wants a cleaner system, without those functions that only take up space and end up consuming a lot of computer resources. Even those who don't understand much about technology can, in practical ways, make Windows faster and more secure using this tool. So I recommend that you use the "Standard" option to check practically all of these options, to really make your PC as optimized as possible.
Going down a little further to the advanced settings tab, this is where we can go deeper and remove unnecessary things like Microsoft Edge and OneDrve. Many of these things end up running in the background and you don't even notice. When you remove what you don't need, you end up saving a lot of processing and memory, and this makes a big difference in the overall performance of your computer.
So take a look at each of these features and remove or disable whatever you want. And of course, after checking all the options you want, you will simply click on that last option, in "Run Tasks". And then it continues carrying out the entire process, as you can see within PowerShell itself, it continues carrying out the entire process that you selected.
Right here in this tab we also have another resource that comes with this tool, which is this little program here. Let's click on it and you will understand what it is for. This program is privacy-enhancing software on Windows.
It allows you to make various privacy adjustments to the system. Here you can choose between applying only the recommended settings, which are the safest, or going deeper and applying everything, knowing that it could cause problems in some applications. So it's really recommended to use this first "Recommended" option.
And of course, he also always suggests creating a system restore point. Let's click "Yes", it will create a restore point and look, 92 settings have been applied. We click "Ok", so this app is perfect for anyone who wants more control over what Microsoft sees on their system.
Nowadays, privacy is a very important topic, and this software helps you disable things that many people don't even know are being monitored. With it, your system is much safer and you gain more peace of mind. Just as a test, I'm going to do the following: I'm going to select the option for all settings – 101 settings.
Just click "Ok" and now it has applied all of them to our PC. So, if something goes wrong here, we will see it live on video. Let's close this program, click "Ok", it suggests we restart the machine.
However, I'm not going to restart at the moment, because I'm still going to make some changes here. I'll just click "Close". Look, he's cleaning the disk here while he's doing all the other processes.
Additionally, we have another customized preferences tab. Here you can activate the dark theme, disable Bing search in the start menu – I honestly don't even know who uses this, right? –, show file extensions by default and several other little things.
And another top feature we have here is adding a high-performance power plan, which is basically a power plan that makes your PC faster. Ideal for those who want to extract maximum performance from the machine. So just click here and it will be automatically added to your machine.
I always recommend activating this power plan if you have a PC or notebook that is plugged in all the time. This adjustment can make a big difference in your day-to-day life, especially if you deal with many processes at the same time and want to ensure that nothing gets stuck. We also have the settings tab here, with some more features that we can activate, such as virtualization, F8 recovery at Windows startup, and several other features.
To install these features, just click "Install" and it does the installation for you. Now let's go to the "Updates" tab. It has some options that serve to kind of pause computer updates or disable them all permanently.
I don't recommend that you disable it permanently, because at some point you will end up needing Windows Update. So what I recommend in relation to Windows updates is that you can, yes, take a break from updates, however, from time to time, update to download new features and especially security updates. For example, this second option here is the recommended one.
It pauses these updates, but continues to download security updates. So it kind of just pauses feature updates, you know? At least that's what it says here in the tool.
And finally, we have MicroWin. With it, you can create a custom Windows ISO, removing everything unnecessary like telemetry, tracking, Edge, and many more other things. If you want a video explaining exactly how this feature works step by step, leave a comment and I'll bring this video to you, okay?
This ends up making the system much lighter and is great for those who want to have a clean installation without all the junk that comes with the Windows ISO. Creating a personalized ISO is excellent, especially for those who want total control over what will be installed on the system. If you're tired of having to deal with all those apps you don't use and services running in the background, MicroWin is the perfect solution.
You set up an installation that suits you, with nothing you don't need on your machine. This type of custom installation is also perfect for those who work with multiple PCs. Imagine being able to configure everything at once, exactly the way you want, without having to spend hours uninstalling programs and disabling things manually.
And now that we've finished all the adjustments here, I'm going to restart the machine and I'll show you how the system looks. Let's restart here. I'll open the Task Manager again, go to performance and look, now we have about 86 processes running.
This is practically half of the processes that were running before the adjustments. The use of the processor here has also improved a lot. He 's making some spikes, but that's completely normal.
Furthermore, memory usage has also dropped significantly, which means that Windows is much lighter and more efficient. If before we had several services consuming resources unnecessarily, now the system is running only with the essential ones, and this makes all the difference in day-to-day performance. If you notice, even the taskbar here is completely clean.
The search bar is gone, Copilot is gone, the widgets that were here on the side are gone too. Even the speed of opening the start menu is much faster and more fluid. Here we also no longer have that bunch of applications pre-installed on the system.
This tool really did a general cleaning of the system, removing everything that was completely unnecessary running on our machine. Now I want to hear from you: do you often use Windows optimization tools? If you use it, leave it here in the comments what it is, because I really want to know!
