imagine starting with zero followers zero engagement and zero sales and turning that into a $5,000 a month income stream or selling digital products on Instagram that's exactly what I set out to do 90 days ago in this video I'm going to break down the exact strategy step by steps that I'm using to scale this business to over $5,000 income and I'll show you how you can do the same on any social media platform the reason I'm using Instagram is because I feel like that has the best conversions whether you're starting from scratch or looking to
boost your existing sales this step-by-step guide is packed with the secrets that allowed me to achieve these results and if you stick around until the end I've got a free gift for you the complete digital sale planner which will be a full guide that will help you save time stay strategic and turn traffic into customers let's grow now I went with the top top down approach which is where I think nearly everyone makes the mistake with their digital product starting from the bottom rather than the top before I even thought about what product to sell
I needed to understand the numbers my goal was to make 5K per month and so I could do that a few different ways I could sell a $5,000 product to One customer per month or I could sell a $5 product to 1,000 customers per per month now it is much easier to sell a $5 product than a 5,000 one now after researching the market and being in this space for so long I found that most digital products are around $5 to $20 and I decided to go with $20 which is a top range but I
feel it's still very much an Impulse buy for consumers at $20 per sale I would need around 250 sales every single month to achieve that 5,000 but it's not just about sales it's about traffic and conversions now I know that websites typically convert at around 1 23% here's what it looked like for me with a price point of $20 at 1% conversion rate I would need around 25,000 monthly visitors to my website if I optimized this to 2% I would need around 12,500 and then if I was able to push this to 3% I would
need around 8,300 34 monthly traffic so before I even determined what product to go into or what Niche I needed to make sure that I was going to pick a niche or a product which had enough demand and traffic to achieve these numbers make sure you use the formula coming up so that you can position yourself as a sales machine for digital products so let's break this down for anyone to use step one is about finding something you have an interest or skill in that topic so for example I've always been fascinated by Tech so
AI was always going to be a good option for me remember we're going to have to create content on a regular basis having interest is just going to be that much better number two and one of the most important is validating that demand as I mentioned I started by checking Google Trends and using keywords like AI tips chat GB BT to see what other people are searching for how popular searches are and whereabouts around the world people are looking for that information number two is validating it on the platform that you're going to be posting
on so for me I went on Instagram started checking AI Pages check in the comments what are people asking for number three is again one of the most important and very very very underrated content creation skill level here's a critical Insight that no one no one touches upon don't pick a niche that you don't have the content creation skills to perform at a good level I chose to focus on carousels simple repost reals and quick tutorials because they are easy for me or editors to create this is a task for you grab a piece of
paper and write down your top three interests along with your top three skills use Google Trends to check whether there's demand in those subjects and then create some content to see if you a enjoy it and B to see if you can actually edit at a decent level now that you have your perfect niche how do we turn these followers into customers let's get into it before you start designing anything going onto Cana you need to actually understand your audience's pain points so you've picked and validated your Niche but let's explore that further and this
is where so many people go wrong because they start assuming what Their audience actually wants spend less time guessing what they want spend more time feeding their desires which is going to make you more money Step One is researching with chat gbt and social listening I use chat gbt to analyze popular questions and discussions on forums Twitter X Instagram Tik Tok Etc there is so much useful information out there what you want to analyze is the questions people were actually asking about chat gbt or AI what challenges are they facing and what are the solutions
they are desperately searching for you can do it too and here's a simple way start by searching Instagram accounts in your Niche and analyzing what the top comments are you could put this all into chat gbt and ask chat gbt to start breaking down the psychology of your target audience now I noticed the trend that people who were using chat GPT were facing the problem of being overwhelmed and not sure how to actually get started this was where I decided the productivity pain point was the one I wanted to focus on step two is focusing
on the main four pain points that you can expect when making a product let's break down these four categories and how they can apply to a digital product number one is financial if your audience is trying to save money focus on highlighting the savings cost or the ROI so for example free AI tools that help me save $1,000 a year the next one is productivity which is was the one I decided to focus on basically my followers were wasting time trying to find ways to use their AI tools effectively to solve this I created a
guide that had chat GPT prompts time-saving shortcuts and stepbystep tutorials a validating product for this could be a quick checklist or a quick start guide the next one is processes if your audience needs help integrating AI tools into their workflow or tools into their workflow create a system or a guide on how they can do this even as a complete beginner processes and systems is a massive selling point integrating AI tools with notion for streamlined project management the last one is support you can provide FAQs or offer resources which allow ongoing support or even access
to a community group an example product idea could be a troubleshooting kind of resource area or it could even be a school Community now once you've identified your pain point you want to use these tools to actually create it the first step is using canva now canva even the free version has so many free templates for basically any type of digital product a simple search and you can get started all you need to do is change some colors potentially some font add a few extra images and you've basically got a unique digital product in terms
of the content you want to use chat gbt for that a simple prompt could be create me a step-by-step guide on how to use chat gbt effectively for a beginner but something that's important to remember is try to add your own skill your own interest knowledge to it don't just rely completely on a chaty PT kind of Clone that everyone else is doing which is why when we pick the niche I made sure to pick something I'm actually interested in have skill in have knowledge in because that's going to make my products stand out more
and more the buyer journey is super important if your first product they buy it and they can tell that it's basically being created on chat gbt they're not going to come back so put a little bit of effort but use chat gbt and AI to enhance the product now the next thing is validating that product now essentially validating the product means making sure that people are actually interested in but there's nothing worse than kind of creating a digital product spending weeks on it or however long and then trying to sell it at $20 or however
much and not getting any sales you need to validate that first what you want to do basically is you can create your product but create a free version of it to see how many downloads you get how interested your audience are how it effectively goes into your Instagram kind of setup and from there you're going to get data you're going to get insight into what works you potentially test so for example if one is not getting the right amount of traffic then you can test another one make a variation change the way you're selling validating

make it Bolder change the color change the font and once you've played around with it added your brand colors set it up how you want to set it up so I should have potentially written you know put one product to begin with it's kind of put numerous for me to start with but that's fine really dependent on you the more information you give it the better the output but you will need to make some tweaks here and there something that's important to mention is when you're building any website especially in this case most of our
traffic is going to be coming from mobile so we need to make sure that the website is optimized for that now hosting actually do optimize it for mobile but it's important to press this button and kind of always check how it looks and it's really important because over 80% of our traffic is going to come from mobile so have a look at how it looks make sure that you're happy with it you know remove things you don't make things bigger Etc however you need to do it this can be done very very quickly and finally
adding social proof is going to be super important for you when you have testimonials once you start selling a few you can even give some for free and get people's opinion this is going to really help Drive conversions but remember you're in this for the long run you want to start building that as soon as you get a testimonial and add it you know maybe have an email sequence when people buy something that they get a discount code for the next product if they give you a review there's a lot of ways we can discuss
that further down the line now the final thing is the actual money side of things so for example if I go to here online store go to products you can see that it's already kind of put a bunch of products for me you can customize this how you want so it's put it for $29.99 obviously I need to change that I'm going to press edit and then I'm going to go through kind of the media like how I've set up my you know I could put the cover photo of my product change the name obviously
it does have ai writer for the description if I need assistance and you can put as much as possible in terms of pricing quick tip add a discount price sometimes psychologically seeing a discount price is going to incentivize people to buy so put that there put in the options you need to do and essentially you're ready then the final thing you need to do is put your payment processes here you can put for example PayPal or stripe or put a manual payment option the more you have the more options for your consumers the more potential

sales the next thing is leveraging social proof to build trust this is a given which is why the validation phase the freebie phase can be super useful cuz those people that get the freebies you can get them to give you testimonials which will then you can use to push your products so try to get testimonials and reviews as quickly as possible onto your highlights onto your website if is going to make people actually want to purchase your products something that's super useful as well let's say you have a fitness product you might want to do
before and afters even if people really say in your DMs I really like this product or this helped me save so much time just screenshot that and put it into your stories put it as one of your promotional stories that you run every few days there is so much you can do you need to kind of build a strategy around this go on to chat gbt write down your Niche what you're selling and ask chat GPT to give you a list of different types of testimonials that would work in your kind of page in your
brand the next one is Instagram stories Instagram stories are one of the best ways to sell a product and all without being too aggressive because ultimately they disappear after 24 hours but if you oversell your stories what's going to happen is people will start checking your stories less so even if you have a million followers why am I going to check that person's stories when every day is the same sell sell sell how do we combat this every time you put a sales story post a value based story this is going to keep people checking
your stories make your offers more Dynamic run limited time offers even if it's not really limited time try to use different strategies so that the sales offers actually appear differently for us for example on our AI product we tease upcoming changes to the product there's a new section coming out there is a new AI tool in the guide this allows us to sell the product in the stories without us appearing too aggressive in terms of the sales we're kind of just updating people but at the same time we're pushing them to the website the next
thing is avoid audience fatigue and this is where most people go wrong which is why you see big accounts or accounts that just kind of stay at their level forever they reach maybe 800k 700k whatever and they just stay there forever because they start over fatiguing their audience because they get desperate they think oh I've got 1 million followers I need to be making $200,000 a month let me sell sell sell sell but what they're doing is just fatiguing Their audience have a rotation the key about all of this is having a rotation even in
content style so for example some days you could sell via the CTA at the end of your carousel which is something we do a lot so at the end of your swipe you know you can have a few steps motivational quotes whatever it is at the end have your Soft Cell of your product don't become a sales addict become a sales Master by having rotations by having Breaks by Community Building trying to build a community around your page is also going to make things so much easier because people will start selling the products themselves selling
online is not easy but it is easy if you are able to apply these strategies and really start to think longterm about your business there is no such thing as getrich quick schemes online despite what everyone says it takes a lot of hard work for us to make 1900 in a few months it took a lot of time it took a lot of effort it took a lot of trial and error but it's sustainable if you believe in your product and you work from the top down as I mentioned earlier in the video I'm currently
