hello guys welcome back this is day six of my 7 Day Challenge on this channel so I'm almost getting to the end of this challenge well it's been very tough but I'm enjoying the process and I also thank you guys for stopping by to watch my videos and also finding them helpful so in today's video I'm going to share with you not share sorry I'm going to show you how much money YouTu pay for every 1,000 views on live streams on this channel so I'm also going to compare it you know Compares two or three
live streams and also let you know what make one in more than the other and finally I'm going to also share my thought about making money through live streams and uploaded videos which one will you earn more from so let's get started so here I have the video analytics of the live stream I had with root orams early this year so here the live stream has already gotten over 8,000 views with over 1,000 watchtime hours it has gained 171 subscribers and we will eventually know how much this live stream end so in the reach tab
it has already gotten 93,000 Impressions with an impressive 7.1 click through rate and down here how viewers find this live stream so here I have about 78% of the views came through browse features the views from browse features are also part of the YouTube recommendations so browse features and suggested videos are these two are YouTube recommendations so in all it shows that over 80% of the views I mean on this live stream came through YouTube recommendations then in the engage engagement tab we can also see that the live stream end over 1,000 views with an
average view duration of 7 minutes 39 seconds and coming down to the audience tab in the age and gender we can say that over 50% of the viewers we females and then coming to the age bracket you can see that we have over 50% between 25 and 34 years now there's something I want you to take note of here like here you can see that the older Generations that is from 35 upwards are above 40% and when you add these two percentage together you get get over 40% so I want us to take note of
this while we compare this live stream with another live stream so here we have the top geographies we have 37% of the views came from Nigeria 14% from the United States 6% from the United Kingdom so in summary here you can see that over 20% of the views came from countries with high CPM and this will also you know impact the revenue from this live stream so now let's go to the revenue tab here you can see that YouTube pay $649 for every 1,000 views on this live stream and up here advertisers paid $326 for
every 1,000 views then coming to this live ad Revenue so why the live stream was live what it ended was $114 then and when people now watch it later that is the replay it now end $54.95 so I want point something here because I I noticed that most creators do make this mistake for example when you're starting a live stream I know most of us we want our audience to join us live before we start the main thing but you need to also consider the people that will watch these live streams much later probably you
to one thing or the other they couldn't join you live so now what I would suggest you do on your live stream is when you go live make sure that the first few minutes just like how you do your normal your normal uploaded videos the first few minutes must be engaging because I know most of us we wait for 2 minutes 3 minutes or even 5 minutes to make sure that someone is live before we start you know doing going deep into what we want to do so but I will suggest that when you go
live just immediately start your live stream whatever you want to share start it so that when people want to rewatch The live stream they will find it they will find your live stream engaging right from the first second or the first minute so though you might say that when you say everything when people are know are not there so what will you tell people that later join you in the live stream so what you do is that when you start with what you have start it immediately then much later when people have joined you can
also you know repeat what you have said earlier so that you need to also consider people that will watch your replay although this advice is not for all live streams it depends on I mean the your the topic you are talking about or the kind of content you make on your channel but I always advise that you also consider people that will watch the replay of your live stream so those first few minutes you should make them engaging so that they can also participate or watch the replay you know enjoying every second or every minute
of replayed live stream what this live stream end was $569 so I will compare you with another live stream that I did with fav Matthew so although the live stream got lesser views compared to Ruth oram's live stream but what I want to emphasize here is the how much YouTube PID for every 1,000 views on this live stream so as you can see here YouTube paid $360 for every 1,000 views and advertisers paid $638 so when you check it you see that it is almost less than 50% of what YouTube PID for the other live
stream so now what could have been the cost this live stream end 50% lesser than what the other live stream end so when you go to the audience tab this is what defined what made it totally different so the first thing is that on this live stream less than 20% of the older Generations watched this fav Matthews live stream most of them are younger generations and coming to the geographies you see that over 45% of the views came from Nigeria and less than 7% % of the views came from countries with high CPM so these
two factors will definitely influence how much this live stream will end so that is why this particular live stream end 50% lesser than what R arm's live stream end so and another defining factor that influence what uh what this live stream end was that in the root Oram live stream we talked about about money the title of the live stream is I made over a million monthly but in the favor Matthew it was just a typical YouTube and growth video how my YouTube channel blew up you get the point so one thing you need to
understand is that making money whether on on uploaded videos or live stream the title that is the topic we are talking about the H bracket people that watch the video the older the better and also the countries where the views are coming from we also influence just like a typical uploaded videos you know the live stream also work the same way in terms of how much YouTube pays the verticals and the horizontal videos which can pay more from my experience on my channel I believe that the horizontals pay more than the verticals but in most
cases the ver get more views but the earnings are very poor but I think one particular vertical live stream got over $6 for every 1,000 views but that is it is you know it is unlike on my channel most of the vertical normally average around $2 $1 for every for those every 1,000 views on vertica videos but for the horizontals I normally get like from $4 $5 and as high as$ to $7 some of you will want to ask will you make more money going live or make more money uploading videos from my own personal
experience you make more money uploading videos than you know going live this is from my from my Channel's experience like now on my channel you know YouTube pay me an average of 8 to $10 for every 1,000 views on my uploaded videos why on my live streams YouTube pay an average of $2 to $3 even on some of my uploaded videos I get as high as YouTube payment as high as $15 for every 1,000 views so this will probably be different for some other channels and you know depending on their Niche and their content style
the way they create content on their channel so let me know in the comment section if you know if your your your live stream is you make more money from your live stream than your uploaded videos let us know or if it is the same as what I have on my channel so give this video a thumbs up if it was helpful and if you have other question you want to ask please drop them in the comment section and tell me which one do you think is better is it easier for you to go live
than making uploaded videos so let's you know discuss more in the comment section and don't forget that I'll be going live in some few hours after I upload this video so hang by as I chat with the community we're going to discuss a lot so as I'm rounding up this um challenge probably by tomorrow I will you know I would like to have some chat with you guys so thank you guys and if you're not yet subscribed please subscribe to this channel by clicking the Subscribe button and also there's love in sharing you can also
share this video someone would like to know something about live stream and uploading videos on YouTube so thank you for watching my video and I will see you in the next one
