if your content is terrible it probably came from Fiverr as the running joke of the SEO industry it's easy to dismiss Fiverr altogether but what if we've all been using Fiverr the wrong way if we all search for a service and purchase from one of the top listed gigs with the most reviews then aren't we all just buying from the same Freelancers We complain about but what would happen if I did things differently and bought zero rated Fiverr SEO gigs would these just be the same junk or worse or could these be the hidden gems
I need to rank a new website to the first page of Google for pennies on the dollar I had to find out so I fired up a new golf affiliate blog and went searching for zero rated Freelancers who could Skyrocket my blog to the first page of Google all right so first things first we need to choose a topic to rank four and the way to do that is with a keyword research gig and to find our zero rated gigs I'm going to sort by new arrivals oh wow there's actually a lot to choose from
since there weren't any reviews to go off of I had to find another way to vet these freelan ERS because I knew that if our freelancer did keyword research wrong or used bad data then everything else will end up in disaster all right so there's no way for me to know whether a keyword research gig is going to be good or not but I can verify if they're using a good data source so I'm going to message everyone and ask which SEO tool they use because there's only one that can be trusted and within minutes
of sending these Freelancers messages the answers came rolling in all right so three of these Freelancers are using ATS we have Ali Abid and seon and as atre users I want to support them and help Kickstart their careers on Fiverr but I don't really know who's going to be the best at keyword research yet after a few minutes of pondering the answer was right in front of me no literally it was in his name so I sent him a message giving my vote of confidence and proceeded to spend what I thought would be the best
$828 of my life but it didn't take long to realize that my $8 investment was about to take a very unexpected turn these keyword difficulty scores definitely aren't from ATS and the search volumes look kind of fishy too so I took the first batch of keywords and ran them through atrs keywords Explorer what the heck the search volumes and keyword difficulty scores weren't from atfs and after checking a few other SEO tools the numbers weren't from there either so I was led to believe that these metrics were compl completely made up okay okay so feeling
a bit betrayed but I called him out and he just responded get this you're right because my at's account was suspended hm this search volume is collected from SE this tool is the same as ATS next a bid said I collect data from ATS good enough for me let's go a bid but I couldn't help but feel a bit nervous after purchasing the gig all right so I just told a bid that if his data won't come from ATS then to just cancel the order and I'm probably just being paranoid here but oh he's messaging
back sorry to say I recently use Sam rash I like him but next I was beginning to feel like everyone was right about Fiverr for SEO how could I possibly rank number one with zero rated Fiverr gigs if I can't even get past step one in the SEO process cion was my final hope I made my purchase submitted the details of my website and nothing could have prepared me for what was about to happen so it's come to my attention that Sean has no idea how F works like I asked him the same question as
it bid in his response hello dear you told me to work on ATS I'm ready to work if you want we can proceed with work I will give you all the facilities an until the work is done I will help you I will help you I am waiting for you thank you and 10 messages later he asks me how can you budget for this job I've already made the purchase after spending the next day explaining how F works I decided this project wasn't worth my time anymore so I left him with my final message if
you do not understand please cancel my order and his response gave me the confirmation I needed it was time to call it quits but that all change the next morning so I got this email from Sean and I'm expecting some kind of cancellation confirmation but then I open it and all that's inside the email is a link to a Google doc and by some miraculous divine intervention he actually pulled it off cion had found keywords for my golf affiliate site that look more appropriate and while the data probably didn't come from HRS or any tool
for that matter just like the other gig I cleaned it up in 2 minutes using keywords Explorer and was ready to buy the next gig which might get me into a bit of trouble with Google AI content now let's have a moment of realness here no one's going to spend an hour creating content for $5 when they can just go and generate a free blog post with chat GPT and I found the perfect person for the job mesba mesba isn't new to Fiverr and in fact he already has one five-star review from 4 years ago
where he made $150 for a consultation so my expectations were a lot higher than the previous gig so this so-called premium 800w AI content gig with zero reviews seems like a no-brainer instab buy and I didn't have to wait long to get the post back from mesba okay so my man mesba gig promised an 800w blog post but check this out he overd delivered with a500w article and he even took the time to run it through grammarly mes freaking ba loving the effort here but when I opened the word document my confidence in ranking number
one took a nose dive okay so I've read some bad AI content but this one is on another level like who says fear not dear golfer for I am here to guide you through the world of face balance cters with my top Rec commendations or your putting stroke is like a delicate dance on the greens now I know this isn't a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but what may actually prevent me from ranking high is that the post doesn't really give what Searchers want to see quick reviews and comparisons of different face
balance Putters instead we've got like 400 plus words of fluff before we even get to talking about different models I didn't have time to overthink things so I just published the article as is submitted a request for indexing in Google search console and added it to a rank tracking project in ATS and just a couple of days later the page was indexed in Google it was time to move on to arguably the most important and expensive Fiverr gig of this entire challenge backlinks backlinks have been and still are one of Google's most prominent ranking signals
and when a page gets quality links traffic and rankings usually come come with it like if Golf Digest or some other golf Authority linked to my putter guide my page would have a good chance of just rocketing up to the first page of Google but getting quality backlinks isn't that easy because you either need to a create some great content and get it in front of bloggers and journalists and then somehow convince them to link to you or B you can buy them I reached out to about 85 link Builders 6 gig showed absolutely no
promise but the other two actually seemed pretty experienced and sent me nearly 400 domains I could get a link from and after running all the domains through HF batch analysis I was absolutely stunned by the metrics on some of these domains so I'm looking at one of these sites in site Explorer and the traffic the website Authority and backlink profiles are all pretty strong but pan Down Bam the traffic dropped of death the majority of traffic profiles of the websites looked exactly like this and I definitely didn't want to get links from sites that were
built with Spam content and Google clearly knew it but it wasn't long until I found a strong and relevant site with around 300,000 monthly organic visits and while the seller warned me that prices are high on sites with high traffic like this one I had to give in for the price of $10 instab bu so I just paid for this gig and right after after I looked more carefully at the sample link that the seller sent me and it turns out he's selling links on no index Pages meaning these links are essentially dead even after
their life I immediately told them about my Discovery and what he said shook me to the core give me only one chance I will index your article if your article will not be indexed then I will refund your payment I had never received a guarantee with this kind of confid Ence from someone on Fiverr and even though I didn't think he could pull it off I had nothing to lose so I agreed while our link Builder went to work I moved on to the next zero rated SEO gig a technical SEO audit technical SEO often
gets ignored but it's important because it's what sets the foundation for your site and I found just the person to do an SEO audit for my site meet anal he's been a Fiverr freelancer since April this year and he's apparently a gold medalist rank holder and a un University level silver medalist his gig promises 100 slides 150 metrics and actionables of improvement but what I really wanted to find out was if anal will just run my site through a tool and paste a bunch of screenshots in his slide or if he'd manually look through data
and use his expertise to give me useful advice that's going to make my site more technically sound the only way to know was to plant some traps so trap number one I'm going to add the no index tag to a blog post which definitely shouldn't have it and no index tags basically tell Google not to include the page in Google search and this should stand out like a sore thumb for any SEO professional now for trap two I'm going to be a bit trickier and I'm going to generate an atre Lang tag and set the
default language to Spanish in the default country to Afghanistan even though my content is in English and this should be automatically detected if and when he crawls my sight with his tool of choice now for the third trap I need something that's not going to show up as an error in a tool hm for the rest of the day I tried coming up with a perfect trap to catch animal but all the ideas it came up with would have automatically been found in the issues report in h site audit he stop it became clear what
I needed to do okay so I've got it I am going to change the title of my homepage to poo poo bum crack anal can find this with any technical SEO tool he doesn't even need a tool to discover this so if he doesn't catch this then I will know how much manual work was really put into this audit I paid for the audit and gave anal the details conveniently I got a message shortly after with an update for my guest post Okay so I just got a message from a backlinks Fiverr gig and it
doesn't look like it's going to work out he said I wanted to inform you about the current situation regarding the guest post you requested on this site unfortunately due to some issues the website has not been indexing new posts for the past 5 to 6 months but I kind of saw this coming and I actually asked him about getting a link on another site that he can publish on the only catch it's going to cost $35 and I'm in within a couple of days the guest post was published and indexed and soon after our page
made a glorious entry into the top 100 for our Target keyword so a few more days have passed and it looks like we're going to stay in the top 100 but no one knows for sure so my plan from here is to wait it out for a bit longer and see if we can get a first page ranking with everything as is and if we can't we'll figure it out it's animal I brace myself for a double click that could potentially change my view on Fiverr SEO gigs forever H it's not bad it's branded with
a website logo colors and it has 43 slides but as I began to scroll through the report it was apparent that this audit was nothing more than a bunch of screenshots and pasted data from an SEO tool and the data seemed just really off but the most important thing that I wanted to know was if he had found our three Easter eggs so I went through everything in this report to see how many Easter eggs enal found and in total he found a resounding zero days passed and not much changed in fact we had a
huge communication issue and we published the second page on the same topic knocking our original post out of the top 100 oh man I frantically tried to fix the issue and after nearly a month of waiting nothing happened Google still wouldn't rank our original page back into the top 100 so there was only one thing left to do fine I'll do it myself I rewrote the post using the same method that's consistently gotten me number one Google rankings and 4 days later I reclaimed my spot back in the top 100 but as days turned to
weeks and movements and rankings stagnated I realized there was a key piece to the SEO puzzle that I'd missed it was then that I realized my worst nightmare had come true so I looked at the search results for our Target keyword and I realized that I was just blindly trusting data from the zero rated keyword research gig and as a result I completely skipped over who we'd be up against and it just so happens that I'm trying to outrank some of the biggest golf manufacturers e-commerce sites and blogs with a brand new site that's made
up of cheap AI content these zero rated gigs were no better but no worse than five-star rated gigs I've previously bought as the project manager of this campaign I fell short because I neglected the fundamentals of SEO and built unrealistic hopes that a bunch of unconnected Freelancers would somehow create the perfect campaign and get me top ranking results so I'm going to go back to watch our free SEO course for beginners and you should too if you want to get free and consistent traffic from Google
