connect with those who have passed away the desire to escape from your current reality Fades away as does the urge to run from life's challenges you become more comfortable with staying present and facing life headon in the initial St ages of your spiritual journey you might have felt a strong need to distance yourself from others to protect your peace this is especially true if you are a highly sensitive person as you grow and become more spiritually awakened this sensitivity can intensify you might find yourself becoming even more attuned to the energies around you hearing the

unspoken thoughts of people sensing their intentions and feeling the collective emotions of humanity you may even become so sensitive that you can hear the Cry of the planet and sense the fear in the collective Consciousness this heightened sensitivity can be overwhelming particularly if you are not grounded when you're ungrounded you might feel out of control and unable to fully harness your spiritual power this can lead to a tendency to shut the world out and Retreat into a Hermit mode seeking solace in isolation it's a natural response to feeling bombarded by the intense energies and emotions
