the illuminati could come in stephen is going to deal with the threats to the multiverse and for that he's gonna need a team like the illuminati so let's map out how the illuminati can return and what the mcu could do with them in the future the illuminati will see you stephen all right something we will see what kind of doctor strange you are but before we explain how the illuminati will return let's explain the illuminati that we saw in the movie stephen and america chavez travel to earth 838 where they are captured and put on

trial before the illuminati the team consists of professor x mr fantastic captain carter aka maria rambo black agar boltigan aka black bolt and finally carl mordo carl carl earth 838's doctor strange was part of the team but he was executed after using the darkhold now he did that to stop thanos but that triggered an incursion which is a universe ending event and that's why the illuminati were so stressed about our stephen arriving in their universe because they were afraid that stephen would trigger another incursion which is exactly what happened after steven used the dark hole

to dreamwalk earth 838's illuminati were all slaughtered by wanda which wasn't such a big loss all things considered because they were a bunch of arrogant jerks [Music] now while the illuminati are all dead this is not the last time we will see heroes from earth 838 in the mcu because remember mordo is still alive and one of the other members of the group might have survived as well but more on that later one thing i loved about the illuminati universe is they were able to give it its own unique design and feel they were really

is awesome with this crown that looks like a halo and how her costume seems almost skeletal the game also features loki odin zeus and lots of characters that also appear in marvel movies even this punk rock chick got blessed by the valkyries and now she's a member of the union mostly i love how it can be a laid-back gameplay experience it has a feature that i've never seen in a game before when you use automatic battles you can actually minimize the game and do other things like watch our videos remember to like this video plus

pre-emptive actions against threats to earth unlike the avengers who are a reactive team that's what we do right our best work after the fact what are the avengers we're the avengers not the pre-avengers the illuminati make the decisions that the avengers won't like when they threw hulk into space so he won't put earth in danger anymore now while 838 illuminati kind of sucked there's no denying that earth needs a team like this just look at what went down with wanda that pretty much proves the world needs a team that's willing to take preemptive actions against

threats before it's too late like when those threats go in a rampage and kill a bunch of people and that's the stuff that keeps steven awake at night and it's the very reason he's gonna form the illuminati now all of this being said based on the multiverse of madness the ipc u's illuminati will be dealing with a mostly multiversal crisis you open the doorway and we don't know who or what will walk through it the reason why 838 illuminati put steven on trial was because they were afraid he would trigger another multiversal incursion incursions are

the next big thing in the mcu once an incursion is triggered the boundaries between reality shatter causing two universes to collide with one another leading to the destruction of one or both of them in the credits scene clia shows up telling stephen that he triggered an incursion and now they need to stop it this means that steven will be dealing with incursions in the future the multiverse crisis is shaping up to be the mcu's next major event kinda like thanos and the infinity stones for the first three phases the show loki established the threats to

about the illuminati when it comes to the multiverse let's begin with option one and we'll get to option two a little later strange's illuminati will be similar to the one on earth 838 and the one in the comics next time we see steven he'll be traveling the multiverse with clia trying to prevent the incursion that he created and remember what's at stake two whole universes are going to collide and this is precisely why steven and cleia will seek the help of some really smart and capable heroes you can't punch an incursion so it's not about

heroes with god-like power it's about heroes with the brains to solve the crisis knowledge is not power that's power the brain is a muscle and that's a muscle and that's a muscle and they're all muscles this is all muscle well all right maybe it's also about god-like power because for all we know wanda can reshape reality and fix an incursion with the snap of her fingers dealing with incursions is exactly what the illuminati did in the comics and the events leading up to 2015 secret wars so in case you haven't read that secret wars was

this massive event where the multiverse was colliding in all likelihood that's the mcu's next infinity war and end game in the comics the only way to stop an incursion is with a terrible sacrifice when an incursion occurs two earths on separate universes begin to collide and that results in the two universes being decimated but if one of the colliding earths is destroyed the other earth as well as both the universes will survive and when the illuminati learned about it they made the hard call of destroying other colliding earths to save their own universe the hardest

choices require the strongest wills based on how mr fantastic describes the incursions chances are that the same rules will apply in the movies and that means the mcu's illuminati will need to sacrifice worlds to prevent incursions and you know how it is most superheroes would never agree to such a sacrifice no matter the stakes or the logic take for example spiderman no way home where spider-man put the entire universe at risk just to save the lives of five villains a choice that nearly destroyed reality the mcu is always at its best when the hero's morals

are tested when they must make those hard calls when it's more than just good versus evil how far will the heroes go how much are they willing to sacrifice to save their universe this is precisely why steven will keep the illuminati's existence and their mission a secret because there is no time for moral debates here at least that's not how stephen will see it which is a great way to do civil war too you just know that the other avengers will find out about what the illuminati are doing most heroes won't stand for the illuminati's

actions but the illuminati can't just stop what they're doing since they're trying to save the universe from something far worse in the grand calculus of the multiverse their sacrifice means infinitely more than their lives isn't that how gods talk and that will lead into a clash between teams so this conflict immediately will raise the stakes for everyone and that's why steven will recruit like-minded heroes who understand what's at stake people who are willing to make the hardest choices for the greater good in the comics the team consisted of doctor strange iron man black panther mr

fantastic professor x black bolt and namer now since steven already met one version of the group that'll inspire him to recruit the variants of those heroes who he knows on his earth and we know the fantastic four are joining the mcu soon so reed richards makes total sense with him being the smartest man alive so if the mutants and the inhumans are out there then both xavier and black bolt can be part of the group wakanda forever is set to introduce neymar so that opens the door for him to join the team neymar is the

king of atlantis but more importantly he's a very morally grey anti-hero in the comics neymar was all in for sacrificing other worlds to save earth so that makes him an important asset for the illuminati wow a real superhero i i have little wings on my feet it's over also since strange is already teaming up with clia to fix incursions she'll probably be part of the team as well you can't cast charles the road in the mcu without giving her a larger role in the future as for some other members i guess you can name every

morally gray hero or anti-hero in the mcu personally i would love it if icarus joined the team assuming he comes back to life no one's ever really gone icarus was already in a similar situation in the eternals where he was willing to sacrifice earth for the celestials so that just makes him a good fit for the illuminati's philosophy how many of them would be willing to die so that billions more could be born another anti-hero who will be a perfect fit is sylvie her action in loki unleashed the multiversal crisis after she killed he who

remains he who remains is gone and that allowed a spell to go wrong in spider-man no way home which leads to the entire multiverse going quite mad sylvie achieved the vengeance she craved all of her life but the cost was too great what did it cost everything so i can see her wanting to make things right by joining the illuminati now remember this is only the first option for how the illuminati can work in the mcu now let's talk about option two what if the illuminati will be a multiversal team meaning that instead of the

team being made of heroes from the same universe the illuminati will be composed of heroes from different universes the guardians of the multiverse because the whole multiverse is a risk here so every hero in the universe will have a dog in this fight steven will learn from his lessons in multiverse of madness and put his trust in heroes from a myriad of universes to deal with incursions this is a more positive direction for the illuminati instead of the group working in the shadows they will be a type of u-n between universes working in conjunction to

save as many worlds as they can but things will get bleak and dramatic really quick and here's why let's say that one of the members of the team is iron man from earth 1610 and suppose earth 616 collides with earth 1610 which of these two earths will the illuminati sacrifice killing is making a choice it is between one line for the other it's one thing to destroy random arts no one cares about it's a completely different story when those are the homes of the members of the group this puts strange in 1610 iron man in

conflict because neither will be willing to destroy just their own earth i will not hesitate to let either of you die i can't because the universe depends on it now there is something important to remember about the upcoming multiverse crisis there's going to be a war between universes how can there not be with all these incursions and colliding realities and earth 616 will go to war with another universe probably earth838 now remember earth838's mordo is still alive at least last time we saw him and he hates steven and wanda slaughtered all the illuminati on his

earth so he's got a bone to pick with both of them i could totally see mordo poisoning the minds of earth's heroes blaming steven for the deaths of their mightiest heroes and who's there to contradict him other than christine palmer she won't stand for mordo's lies but someone like mordo can easily spin her actions in the movie against her she did free and help stephen and america charles xavier reed richards and black bull were all part of earth 838's illuminati so that means that the x-men the fantastic four and the inhumans all exist in that

universe and they will want revenge and that's how the universes collide and worlds will go to war with each other and let's not forget earth 838's captain marvel might still be alive wanda killed all the other members of the team quite brutally but maria was just crushed under a statue you can't kill someone as powerful as captain marvel that easily now this sets up an interesting story for the future where carol must fight maria who was her best friend same goes for monica who was maria's daughter tyler where's my mom your mom she died honey

what and this can be said about many other heroes imagine bucky having to face a steve from another universe or wanda having to fight a variant of vision or even around kids making it more than just earths who battle each other for survival now don't get me wrong that's a pretty good story by itself but you gotta add some emotional drama to all of it there's so much story potential here so i'll be very surprised if we don't see some variation of the illuminati in the future and so what do you think about all this
