Did you know that God created the entire universe in just six days? Can you imagine the power of God to create so much in such a short time? Hi, I'm aunt Annabelle and today's story is about the creation of the world, she can be found there in the Bible in Genesis chapters 1-2, If you haven't subscribed to the channel, subscribe now, so you don't miss the our next stories.
But then, do you want to know how God created all things? Get ready, it's story time! God created a beautiful world with wonderful things, didn't he?
He created every detail! And everything God made was perfect! Just look around you, feel the air we breathe, the sun that warms us, the fragrant flowers.
And all our beautiful animals. Indeed, God is the Creator of all things. So let's see what the bible tells us about how it all began!
In the beginning there was nothing but God. There was only darkness on all sides. So God created the heavens and the earth.
But the earth was without form and void. That's when God had a great idea! He wanted to create something very special on our planet.
So you know what he did? He said, "Let there be light. " And the light came into being.
The words that God speaks are powerful. So when God ordered something to happen, it happened immediately. So, do you know how God called the light?
He called the light day and the darkness night. And that was the first day in the whole world. 🇧🇷 Then God formed the blue sky, and placed white clouds up there.
God knew that the animals and people He would create on earth would need air to breathe, so He created oxygen on our planet. He also knew that we would be thirsty, so He created water for us to drink. God liked what he made, because it was perfect!
and thus concluded the work of the second day. The next day, God ordered the waters to gather in one place, letting the dry part appear. Our God is wonderful, He only said what He wanted and it happened.
He called the dry land land, and the waters seas. In the beginning there was nothing on dry land. So God made small seed plants and trees.
These trees would bear very tasty fruit, which we know very well. Like apple, pear, and many other fruits. Wow, God really created a lot of things that day!
And so God concluded the work of the third day. Then God made the sun and the moon to give light to the earth; the Sun, the biggest, which lights up the day, so we can play when the sun is rising and the smaller Moon, to shine during the night and we can sleep because it is darker. He also created all the little stars.
It's amazing how God created many stars, so many that no one can count. And when he looked at all that he had created, he was very happy. And that was the fourth day.
Then sea creatures, fish, and birds were next on God's list. He created all kinds of fish, whales and all kinds of sea animals. He also made birds to live on earth, and many kinds of birds to fly in the sky.
Can you imagine what happened when God created all the birds? They were all flying and singing in the sky. Some birds make a lot of noise and some sing beautifully like the canary.
What a sight it must have been when, suddenly, they all appeared! Remember God didn't use your hands He just spoke and all these animals appeared. And so God finished his beautiful work of the fifth day.
The last day of creation was very special! He ordered the land to have all kinds of animals: domestic animals like the little dog and sly kittens. Wild animals like lions and huge elephants.
Agitated monkeys. Flying insects, long giraffe. Every kind of animal was created by God that day.
But do you think creation is over? Na-na-ni-na-no! God was very pleased with what he had made, but his most special creation of all was still missing.
Do you know what it is? That's right, the human being! Man was the most special creature of all, so instead of giving the command and creating him out of nothing, God fashioned him from the dust of the earth.
And so, on the sixth day God created male and female. Do you know the name of the man and woman? Adam and Eve!
So God blessed them and told them to take care of our planet. Also God took all the birds, and all the animals to Adam and he named them all. He must be pretty smart to do that, don't you think?
But now, comes the best part! Who do you think Adam and Eve looked like? With you, with me?
God made it very clear who the human being should look like: with himself, God himself! Very cool! None of us was born by chance or is better than the other.
God made everyone equal. One can have light or dark skin color, straight or curly hair, be short or tall… these things are just details, because the main thing is the way God created us. You are in the image and likeness of God!
Yes, you are a blessing, because God made you and you are like him! Then, God examined his own work, and saw that it turned out very well! Everything turned out perfect as I had planned.
And thus concluded the work of the sixth day. On the 7th day God rested from all the work he had done. xiii, but does God get tired?
Have you heard that the Lord is an Eternal God, yes! He is the creator of all the earth. He doesn't get tired, and he doesn't even get exhausted!
He sustains everything in the universe by His mighty power. God is the strongest and most powerful there is! But because He knows us very well, He has commanded that one day be set aside each week for us to rest and to help people remember Him!
He did everything in a very special way because he loves us and prepared a beautiful world for us to live in. It was He who created us, so He wants us to know Him. And if you believe this to be true, say this to our God: Dear Father, I want to thank you because you created me.
My life is important and I am just like you. I thank you for all the things you created to bless me. I always want to be close to you, because you love me and take care of me.
In Jesus name, amen. Did you like today's story? So take care of the like and subscribe to ours so you don't miss our next bible story!
