[Music] Did you know that when God created the first man and woman he made a beautiful garden for them to live in? But unfortunately they did something very bad and got kicked out of the garden. What would they be up to?

Hi, I'm Aunt Annabelle and today's story, do you know where it is? There in the Bible in Genesis Chapter 3. And for you to understand this little story better, I'll leave the link to the previous video here in the description for you to watch later, okay?

But then you know what time it is now? Story time! Many years ago there was nothing in the universe, until God decided to create all things.

And on the sixth day then he created the human being. Unlike the other animals that God had created, God created man and woman in a very special way. The Lord began to gather clay from the earth, and from that clay he made the shape of a person.

So to give life to man, God breathed into his nostrils and gave him life. And that's how God created the first human being in history. Remember his name?

Adam! After that, God created another human being who was the woman. Do you know how God created woman?

God made Adam very sleepy and a heavy sleeper. During Adam's sleep, God took one of his ribs and from that rib he created woman. Do you remember what was the name the woman received?

Eve! God had made a beautiful place for them to live, it was a beautiful garden that God had made. And it was full of delicious fruits of all kinds.

A river of pure water flowed through the garden. And that place was called the Garden of Eden! And there Adam and Eve had everything they needed to be happy.

Just imagine living in such a perfect place, where there was no sin and no other bad thing. But you know what the best part was? It's just that at that time man and woman could talk to God every day, freely, there were no restrictions.

At the end of the afternoon, the Creator always talked to Adam and Eve. It must be really nice to hear God's voice so simply, don't you think? But unfortunately Adam and Eve disobeyed God's order, and did something very bad and lost God's friendship.

What would they be up to? In the middle of the Garden of Eden, two very special trees grew. The Tree of Life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

God told Adam and Eve that they could eat the fruit of every tree in the Garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. For if that happened, their eyes would be opened to evil. And God wanted to spare them suffering and pain.

Things were going great for a while. But in the Garden of Eden, there was a very mean and cunning animal. Do you know who it was?

It was the serpent! Only this serpent was not like any snake as we see it today, this serpent was God's enemy and wanted to destroy all creation! On a certain day, before God came to talk to Adam and Eve.

Eva began to hear a different voice, a voice that involved and intrigued her a lot. That voice sounded good, and very convincing. Do you know whose voice it was?

It was the serpent's voice! The serpent decided to deceive Eve. She was very smart and wanted to convince Eve that it was okay for her to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

So while Eve was walking through the garden, the serpent said: - Eve, do you know what tree this is? And its wonderful fruit, have you tried it? After all, God sent you to enjoy this beautiful garden , didn't he?

Eva soon replied: - Yes, it's true! God said we could eat all the fruit, but not this one! God said that we cannot touch it, much less eat the fruit.

And the Serpent said: - If you eat this fruit, you will be as smart as God himself! Because you will know everything and they will be very powerful! When Eva heard this, he began to look at that fruit in a different way.

She was curious and excited. Then she thought: The serpent seems to be right, he thinks it would be good to be equal to God himself! I'm going to eat here quickly.

. . Eve was deceived by the evil serpent who distorted what God said.

And besides eating, she gave the fruit to her husband Adam and he ate too. What a sadness! So Adam and Eve disobeyed God by doing this.

Then they sinned, and that was a big mistake! Do you know what a sin is? Sin is everything that displeases and distances us from God.

Now Adam and Eve knew evil and had just spoiled the perfect world that God had made. Suddenly they were afraid and very ashamed because they were disobedient, then they realized that they were naked and sewed clothes from leaves and hid from God. Well we know we can't hide from God because he knows everything and can see everything.

But still they hid. At the end of the afternoon God came to visit them as he always did. And upon arriving, God asked Adam and Eve: - Why are you hiding?

Of course, God already knew what a big mistake they had made. But even so, he asked: - Why did you disobey me? Each of them began to apologize and blame the other.

It wasn't me sir, it was Eva who ate first and gave it to me! Said Adam. It wasn't my fault God, it was the serpent that deceived me and I ate!

Eva said! Because of their attitude sin entered the world. And God had to make many difficult decisions.

Adam and Eve received animal skin clothes made by the creator and the Lord had to expel them from the Garden of Eden. Disobedience distanced Adam and Eve from God and the saddest thing is that God's plan to live close to them went down the drain. Then God placed an angel at the garden gate to guard and protect the garden.

Do you know what we learned from this story? That when God gives us an order, it is always for our good. Disobedience has bad consequences.

That's why obeying God protects us and protects the people around us. God created us to be eternal companions for him, but with sin man lost eternal life. But since God loves us so much, he never wanted us to be away from him and came up with a perfect plan.
