Seek God and Speak His Word Over Your Life | Blessed Morning Prayers To Begin Your Day

I want to speak to the one who's trying to improve their prayer life I'm talking to the one who has a desire to grow and build their personal relationship with Jesus Christ to begin with I want to draw your attention to Psalm 5:3 it says listen to my voice in the morning Lord each morning I bring my request to you and wait expectantly this verse puts a lot of things in perspective and we can almost deconstruct it so that it can help to form a structure for our own lives when it comes to prayer the

psalmist Begins by saying listen to my voice in the morning Lord from this we can understand that David is seeking and searching for God early before he starts his day he's already saying Lord hear me as I pray can this be said of you does the Lord hear your voice in the morning now the second line in Psalm 5:3 in the Amplified translation says in the morning I will prepare a prayer and a sacrifice for you and watch and wait for you to speak to my heart this is the key part for us I believe

that this sacrifice that's mentioned it's not in the literal sense for us but rather it's symbolic you're sacrificing your own Pleasures you're sacrificing your own wants so that God can have the very start of your day you're sacrificing your will your time so that God can have the first fruits of your day the Amplified translation of Romans 12:12 says constantly rejoicing in Hope because of our confidence in Christ steadfast and patient in distress devoted to prayer continually seeking wisdom guidance and strength listen you and I we are to be constant in prayer we are to

pray at all times and to pray without ceasing dear friend we're called to pray persistently because you cannot be a True Believer you cannot be a Bible believing Christian and neglect prayer if Jesus Christ the son of God if he prayed while on Earth if he prayed consistently and frequently how can you and I say that we follow him but choose not to follow his actions we need to pray we actually need to fight to pray right now I want to speak to the person who has a desire desire to make their prayer life more

effective I want to speak to the individuals who genuinely want to pray fervently and passionately the first thing I want to tell you is that you need the Holy Spirit you need to welcome the Holy Spirit you need to seek to be filled by the Holy Spirit and you need to invite him in invite him into your prayer closet the Bible says over in Romans 8: 26- 27 likewise the spirit helps us in our weakness for we do not know what to pray for as we ought but the spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings

too deep for words and he who searches Hearts knows what is the mind of the spirit because the spirit intercedes for the Saints according to the will of God do you see the importance of the Holy Spirit when it comes to your prayer life he's the one who helps us in our weakness and believe me a lot of the time we are all too weak to pray and at times we don't know what to pray not outside of the usual requests that we have but you see it's the Holy Ghost who empowers us and he

intercedes for us Matthew 6: 7 says and when you pray do not Heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do for they think that they will be heard for their many words you see one of the biggest mistakes we can make is to pray without the guidance leadership or influence of the holy spirit because on our own our prayers will be empty they will just be vain repetitions but when we yield to the Holy Spirit and pray he's the one who intercedes for us according to the will of God the holy spirit is the perfect

Helper because he's the one who makes our prayers effective Ephesians 6 verses 17 and 18 say and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God praying at all times in the spirit with all prayer and supplication to that end keep alert with all perseverance making supplication for all the saints did you notice how we're told to pray in the spirit at all times and so Saints I want you to invite the Holy Spirit into your lives indeed invite him into your prayer closet and right now I

invite him into this time of prayer with us not only do I I invite him in with us but I ask him to lead us regarding what we are to pray so let's pray father God I pray for each and every person under the sound of my voice I pray for every heart that's crying out to know you more God we ask that you would pour your spirit out over our lives Luke 11:13 says if you then who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much more will the heavenly father

give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him so God right now we're asking fill us with your Holy Spirit transform our prayer lives God may we be people who fellowship with the Holy Spirit may we be people who are under the guidance and counsel of your spirit Lord Jesus teach us to pray in the spirit so that our prayers may have a sweet Aroma to you Lord father we acknowledge that we need the Holy Spirit may he operate in such a mighty way in our lives Lord as we read your word I pray that

the Holy Spirit would bring understanding to our minds may he open our inner ears and our eyes so that we can see the treasure that's in the word Lord Jesus I pray that the Holy Spirit would bring the scriptures to Life as we read your word and may that very word Pierce through every doubt every eye of skepticism and every anxious mind God it's through the power of the Holy Spirit that we can truly intercede for our families and for our homes the holy spirit's the one who empowers us to overcome any spiritual opposition that

may be hidden in the Dark Lord will you please give us more discernment open our spiritual eyes so that we can see all of the devil's attacks and then we can rebuke and overcome them in jesus' name your word says in Ephesians 5 : 18- 20 and do not get drunk with wine for that is Deery but be filled with the spirit addressing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing and making Melody to the Lord with your heart giving thanks always and for everything to God the father in the name of our

Lord Jesus Christ indeed indeed Lord fill us with your spirit God let there be a mighty outpouring of the Holy Ghost over our lives let that outpouring be so strong that it'll bring Revival in our hearts that it'll bring Revival within our families and in our communities that so desperately need you and Lord let the outpouring be so strong that it brings Revival across the land father don't let us be filled with wickedness or corruption but let us only be filled by the Holy Spirit Lord we don't want to be filled with Envy drunkenness lust

or pride no no we only want your spirit Lord we desire to only be filled by the Holy Spirit Romans 8:15 says for you did not receive the spirit of Slavery to fall back into fear here but you have received the spirit of adoption as Sons by whom we cry ABA father thank you ABA father for not giving us a spirit of slavery or a spirit of fear but through your spirit we have been adopted as your children Holy Spirit we invite you to operate freely in our lives move within our homes speak to us

minister to us convict us to repentance help us to live righteously and Chase righteousness Galatians 5: 16 and 17 say but I say walk by the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh for the desires of the flesh are against the spirit and the desires of the spirit are against the flesh for these are opposed to each other other to keep you from doing the things you want to do Lord give us the strength and the grace to walk in the spirit and not to gratify the desires of the flesh Holy

Spirit Empower us and lead us and father I thank you right now and I believe by faith that you have heard this prayer father continue to help us to desire the Holy Spirit to receive the Holy Spirit to walk in the Holy Spirit help us to be led by the Holy Spirit may he guide us not only in our prayers but in our walk with you each and every day God we're so grateful we magnify you and we pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Jesus amen answer me speedily oh Lord my spirit fails

do not hide your face from me lest I be like those who go down into the pit cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning for in you do I trust cause me to know the way in which I should walk for I lift up my soul to you the Bible says in Psalm 37: 3-6 trust in the Lord and do good then you will live safely in the land and prosper take Delight in the Lord and He will give you your heart's desires commit everything you do to the Lord trust him and

he will help you he will make your innocence radiate like the Dawn and the justice of your cause will shine like the Noonday Sun if I may be honest for a moment I've come to the understanding that when I really need God no one has to tell me to have a prayer life no one has to sit me down and tell me to read my Bible when I really need God I somehow find the strength to wake up early to pray I somehow find the time to open the word of God God despite my busy

schedule I even find the desire to fast and pray to wait on the Lord until I receive an answer but I have to confess if I'm to be truly objective and honest my weakness is that once my personal needs are met that strength that I had to wake up early to pray is no longer there it seems like prayer becomes a struggle the time that I could find to open the word of God that time seems to disappear and I become even busier Saints my problem is consistency I need to be consistent in prayer whether

I need something or not I need to be consistent in meditating on the word of God whether I need something or not and now I'd like to pose this question to you are you consistent in your walk with Jesus Christ do you fight to prioritize him every single day do you remain faithful in prayer do you schedule in time to read the word of God each and every day well the Bible says in Psalm 16:8 I have set the lord always before me because he is at my right hand hand I shall not be moved

this verse challenges me and the key word In this passage is the word always I have set the lord always before me this says to me that there's a level of consistency there's a routine that's followed oh how we ought to desire to reach such a level of consistency that we can confidently say I have set the lord always before me I have set the lord always before me whether I need something or not I have set the lord always before me whether I am in pain or not I have set the lord always before

me whether I am joyful or in Affliction and so now let's try and expand our understanding of Psalm 16: eight as I read various translations here's what I found that verse to mean I have set the Lord continually before me because he is at my right hand I will not be shaken another translation put it this way I keep my eyes always on the Lord with him at my right hand I will not be shaken no matter which way you look at it this verse talks about consistency I've set the Lord continually before me I

keep my eyes always on the Lord and so people of God I pray that Psalm 16:8 would be the anthem that plays in your heart and your mind always from today keep your eyes always on Jesus Christ set the Lord Jesus Christ continually before for you overall we need to remember what 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says but the Lord is faithful and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one the bottom line is that the Lord is faithful he is so faithful that he neither sleeps nor Slumbers because he's watching over us God

is so faithful that even the very hairs on your head they are all numbered he's so faithful that before you were formed in your mother's womb he already knew you one passage of scripture that I'd like to highlight is revelation 5:5 it reads then one of the elders said to me do not weep see the lion of the tribe of Judah the root of David has Tri triumphed he is able to open the scroll and its Seven Seals I believe that this verse in Revelation is a word that we all need to hold on to

and we need to receive this word because I believe that when it says do not weep the Bible is telling us to stop worrying cease your Sorrowing don't be cast down and do not be in despair the lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed in other words he has overcome he's come out on top he has triumphed he has conquered and this is what we need to receive and understand Jesus Christ The Lion of the tribe of Judah the root of David has prevailed he has mastered all things he has won all battles he

is in command and he is Victorious and he will he will reign forever and ever and so Saints when we think of protection we ought to know who protects us we ought to be aware of the might and the power that the Lord has it's in Jesus Christ that we have our protection many of us try to orchestrate and control every everything in our lives until one day we're faced with things that are outside of our control and the truth is the most important things in life are out of our control you can exercise and

diet all you want but disease can still come knocking on your door we can build magnificent buildings and structures but we must still bow to the power of a tornado a hurricane or an earthquake these things remind us that we are not in control but I want you to understand that it's during Times Like These when we feel out of control that we are reminded of the purpose of faith faith enables us to be comfortably out of control even though we cannot control things like disease nature or death we have faith that God has a

plan and that God will have the last word and so as we approach the throne of grace let us ask God to help us to move into a space where we are comfortable without knowing ask him to move us to a place where we can be comfortable not because we have all the answers but because we know who our answer is his name is Jesus I have set the lord always before me because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved and so let's pray to that end dear Lord Jesus you are

worthy to be praised and adored thank you for your sacrifice Lord thank you for dying on a cross for me I know that I did nothing to deserve that kind of love I did nothing to earn that kind of love but you still gave yourself you gave yourself for me and all I can do is say thank you all I can do is open my heart to you so that you can use me in your kingdom Holy Spirit help me to be consistent help me to be consistent with prayer help me to to be consistent

with my reading of your word Holy Spirit help me to set my eyes always before the Lord so that if all is well with me my eyes remain on Jesus and if I'm struggling and can't seem to find a way out of the mess I'm in then my eyes are still on Jesus Lord I praise you because you're a savior to those who need to be saved you're a shelter to those who need Refuge you're a protector to those who need safety Lord I worship you father your word says in Isaiah 54:10 for the mountain

shall depart and the hills be removed but my kindness shall not depart from you nor shall my Covenant of peace be removed says the Lord who has mercy on you give me peace peace Lord even if there's chaos and trouble all around me I ask for your peace Lord let my heart not be afraid of anything because you've promised that even if the mountains and Hills be removed your kindness your promise of Peace over my life it will never be removed so I won't fear I Won't Be Shaken because greater is he who is in

me than he who is in the world when life appears to be unstable Lord I won't let my soul be shaken my soul will not be moved because my God you are the way maker let your peace soothe and fill my heart dear Lord I come against anything that is not of you God you've given me a spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind so I ask that you remove everything that opposes the peace that you've given me the love and the power that you've given me I welcome you Holy Spirit

help me to realize the promises of God help me to realize the riches that are in the Lord Holy Spirit I invite you into my life to be with me move with me walk with me Holy Spirit and speak to me always I pray that you may be the still Small Voice that guides me and when I encounter fear and worry I pray that you will move to calm my heart when I encounter things that discourage me and if my heart is to feel heavy I pray that the holy spirit will be my comfort holy

SP Spirit be my comfort on those occasions when my life appears to be broken remind me of God's word and Lead me back into the presence of Jesus Christ I find strength in you Lord because when I'm worn out when I feel weak you are The God Who renews my strength father help me to fearlessly believe in Exodus 14:14 it says the Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace God help us to boldly embrace your word help us to embrace it boldly with no doubt help us to declare and hold on

to Isaiah 40: 29-31 he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength they will soore on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint I pray for strong faith God I pray that I may stand up for Jesus Christ and testify of how he turned my mourning into dancing give me strong faith Lord so that I may stand on your word

in a world that is lost in a world that aims to discourage and drain hope as your children we pray for the faith that will enable us to live in The Authority that we have been given in Luke 10: 19 behold I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means means hurt you I declare and decree Deuteronomy 28:6 over my life that I will be blessed in my coming in and blessed in my going out because you watch over me

I declare Psalm 91:10 over my life and over my family and I say that no harm will overtake me no disaster will come near my tent no evil shall befall me nor shall any plague come near my dwelling in the name of Jesus Christ I pray God I stand in faith today covered by the power that's in the almighty name of Jesus Christ I Stand today concealed and wrapped by the blood of Jesus which is miraculous and able to defeat all evil I stand shielded and protected by the Holy Ghost you Lord Jesus are the

lion of the tribe of Judah and I pray that you would defeat every demon from hell that is sent by the enemy to try and attack me I pray that you disarm every unclean spirit that seeks to creep into my house or into my life I pray that you destroy every generational curse every negative word spoken against me in the mighty name of Jesus God I pray that your presence would always surround me and Lord I Thank you for all the goodness that you offer I'll continually place my trust in you God help me not

to lean on my own understanding because you are an all knowing god so my trust it's in you Lord Jesus I bless your name and I thank you I thank you for your wonderful love I thank you for your kindness and I thank you for your protection I confess that I have joy in my life because Jesus Christ has saved me I have freedom and a sound mind because I have laid my burdens before the Lord I confess that there's peace in my life because I am Washed by the blood of Christ Lord I praise

you for your abundant Mercy and I Praise You for Your Grace that Reigns over my entire life Lord I want to take this moment to thank you for hearing my prayer I count it done I believe it and I pray it in the name of Jesus Amen I have set the there are times when I can't help but wonder what heaven will be like the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:9 however as it is written what no eye has seen what no ear has heard and what no human mind has conceived the things God has

prepared for those who love him the beauty of Heaven is beyond our imagination how can you and I begin to even imagine a world where the Lord will wipe away every tear from our eyes a place where this thing called death will no longer exist a place where there will be no sorrow no anguish a place where there will no longer be such a thing as crying or pain it's hard to get your mind Around Heaven because it's very much the opposite of the reality that we Face here on Earth We're familiar with pain here

on Earth We're accustomed to tears here on Earth people cry when they're in pain people cry when they receive bad news but Heaven it's a place that has none of that it's a new reality a Divine reality that's centered in and around the presence of God and as glorious as Heaven is as wonderful a place as it is it does also lead me to think about hell to me what makes hell such an awful place is the fact that you're separated from God you're separated from the presence of Jesus Christ you're away from his Mercy

away from his love and his grace you see what makes hell such an awful place is not the fire it's not the devil but it's the fact that you're separated from God for all eternity a lot of Christians they have a hard time digesting the concept of hell oh we can listen to messages about heaven all day long but we don't want to hear about the reality of Hell well let me tell you what the Bible says in 2 Peter 3:9 it says the Lord does not delay as though he were unable to act and

is not slow about his promise as some count slowness but is extraordinarily patient toward you not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance God does not wish for us to go to hell he doesn't wish for us to be apart from him for all eternity no he wishes for us to repent repent and turn away from sin and turn to Jesus Christ the only way to heaven is is Jesus Christ now Mark 9:43 says and if your hand causes you to sin cut it off it is better for you to

enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell to the unquenchable fire the Bible is telling us that it would be better to remove that which causes you to sin than to go to hell there are only two choices it's either we choose Jesus Christ or we choose the devil it's either we pick eternal life or Eternal separation from God and these decisions they're made on a day-to-day basis whether you pray or not you're making a decision whether you read and meditate on God's word or not you're making a decision whether you help

the poor whether you witness whether you tell an unbeliever about Christ or not you are making a decision James 4:14 says you do not know what tomorrow will bring what is your life for you are a Mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes think about that for you are a Mist the Bible says in the grand scheme of Eternity you appear for a little time and then poof you vanish with each passing second each minute every hour we are edging closer to an appointed time when we will stand before God and give

an account for what we've done with our lives so now is the time to get right and build a close relationship with Jesus Christ now is the time to work and to serve the kingdom of God now is the time to fully surrender to Jesus Christ don't put it off a second longer there's no reason to wait there is joy in him there is eternal life in him when you stop wrestling with God and you let him transform your life you'll experience of Freedom like you've never felt before Jesus he's the one who satisfies every

hunger he quenches every thirst he fills the deepest longings of your soul so come to him today the Lord is patient and he's willing to forgive those who come to him with a broken and contrite heart Hebrews 9: 27 says and just as it is appointed for man to die once and after that comes judgment with this in mind I encourage you to live with an urgency time is ticking sooner or later you will stand before the Lord in an instant or he will return to take his church away either way time is ticking and

so my friends live a life that is mindful of the fact that we will all be accountable for what we did for Jesus and for what we did not do will you be able to say that your life produced good fruit for the kingdom of God will you be able to say that in your days here on Earth you had eternity on your mind far too many people waste their lives on things that won't last money power relationships but God is not concerned with those things he's concerned with the state of your heart what matters

is how you live your life in accordance to God's word what matters is did you put Jesus Christ first what matters is who lives on the throne of your heart and at the end of your life the Lord will not ask how much money you made he won't ask how many many friends you made or even how many good works you did he will simply ask you who did you put your trust in for Eternal salvation who did you serve who did you love with all your heart with all your mind and soul and the

only correct answer the only answer is Jesus Christ the son of God now let's pray my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ you are my blessed hope you are the soon coming King you're the one who will rule and Reign for all eternity father your word tells me that if my hand causes me to sin I should cut it off and if my eye causes me to sin I should tear it out Lord Jesus I pray that you would open my eyes eyes God help me to identify anything and everything that causes me to sin if

it's some relationship or a friendship that's leading me to sin God help me to cut it off should there be anything that is influencing me to sin help me identify it and cast it out of my life I Choose You Lord Jesus I choose to serve you and only you master I choose to be all in for you Lord father I choose to let go of this world and to hold on to you Colossians 3 verses 1 and 2 say therefore if you have been raised with Christ to a New Life Sharing in his resurrection

from the dead keep seeking the things that are above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above the Heavenly things not on things that are on the earth which have only temporal value it profits me nothing to look elsewhere other than to you Jesus it profits me nothing to chase temporal things on this Earth it is worthless for me to Chase worldly things that perish and lose value and so I pray that you would help me to Chase righteousness God help me to

Chase godliness and store up my Treasures in Heaven Holy Spirit may you influence me on a daytoday basis help me to keep My Mind Set On Jesus Christ Holy Spirit help me to set my mind on eternal life and on things above and not to be consumed by my daily life and things on this Earth father your word says in Revelation 22: 11 and 12 he who is unjust let him be unjust still he who is filthy let him be filthy still he who is righteous let him be righteous still he who is holy let

him be holy still and behold I am coming quickly and my reward is with me to give everyone according to his work Lord Jesus as I live my life awaiting your return Lord I pray that you would give me the grace and strength to fight the good fight of faith if I fall down pick me back up up Lord if I begin to sink God I pray that you would lift me up and place me on Higher Ground if I begin to drift away God keep me anchored to your word anchored to your promises Lord

is fighting us we'll scratch our head and think is it just me was it something I did but let me tell you something the reason why the devil fights us a lot of the time is because he wants to keep you from discovering what's inside you the devil is afraid of who you will become should you fully commit to the lord the devil is afraid of you discovering the gifts that God gave you often times we don't know why the devil is fighting us but may I submit to you that you have a gift inside

you a gift that will anger the kingdom of darkness your gift is what the enemy is trying to stifle it's what he's trying to choke out of you so he will throw naysayers your way he will throw discouragers your way the enemy sends people your way he sends the Pharisees the Sadducees those people who are self-righteous and consider themselves to be highly educated and better than you he sends them to try and talk you out of your calling you can't sing worship you can't teach the Bible you can't preach but you see the devil can

throw these rocks but none will injure you the devil will throw fiery darts at you but none will pierce you that's why the Bible says your gift will make room for you your gift will make room for you because no weapon formed against against you will prosper and I'd like to add to the fact that in order for us to realize our gifts for us to fully experience the gifts that God has placed within us there has to be a desperation about us we desperately need to be filled with the Holy Spirit we desperately need

to get the word of God in our hearts we desperately need to get on our knees in prayer that's how you'll learn your gifts and know what it is that God has placed inside of you if you want to live out your calling if you want to walk effectively in your assignment you have to know you need to know what it is he has placed in you and if you're wondering what these so-called gifts are 1 Corinthians 12: 7-1 says to each is given the manifestation of the spirit for the common good for to one

is given through the spirit the utterance of wisdom and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the Same Spirit to another Faith by The Same Spirit to another Gifts of healing by the one Spirit to another the working of Miracles to another prophecy to another the ability to distinguish between spirits to another various kinds of tongues to another the interpretation of tongues all these are empowered by one and the Same Spirit who apportions to each one individually as he Wills the Bible is clear that to each there are spiritual gifts but the devil doesn't

care that you have gifts as long as long as he can keep you from activating them if he can keep you in the dark if he can discourage you then his job is done this is why wisdom and knowledge is so important for the believer the devil is after you because of the gift inside of you and some of you will keep finding yourself under attack one after the other one battle followed by another constant opposition but hear me it's like this you're attacked like this because as you are making strides in your spiritual life

as you are growing in faith he knows that sooner or later you're going to break through and realize or recognize your gifts that is why the attacks are launched but during that time during a season of Attack as a child of God you should be persistent a thief doesn't break into an empty house they don't there's nothing of value in a house that's empty there's nothing to steal but when you find the devil trying to break into your life it's because he knows he knows what's inside you he knows the heights that you can reach

he knows the value the gift inside of you and that that's what he wants the enemy hates the Christian man or woman who is walking in their calling operating in their gift with power with humility with Integrity all for the glory of God that's what the enemy hates to see Deuteronomy 6:4 and 25 says and the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes to fear the lord Our God for our good always that he might preserve Us Alive as we are this day and it will be righteousness for us if we are careful to

do all this commandment before the Lord Our God as he has commanded us Saints it will be righteous for us if we follow all his statutes his Commandments and to fear Him Now let us pray dear Lord Jesus you alone Are Holy you alone are righteous father if I try to live a righteous Life Through My Own Strength or will then I'll fail but as the Bible says I have been crucified with Christ it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me as you live within me Lord you can displace all

evil from within me remove everything that is corrupt remove everything that is unclean Lord in the morning may I seek your face each and every morning Lord give me a hunger to hear your voice may I desperately seek to hear your voice for instruction for counsel for wisdom and direction Lord Jesus give me a passion for prayer so that in those moments when I am on my knees in those moments when I am reading your word may that be the highlight of my day my prayer today King Jesus is based on Psalms 143:8 which says

let me hear in the mour of your steadfast love for in you I trust make me know the way I should go for to you I lift up my soul I pray that my mornings would be filled with intimate fellowship with you Lord I pray that my day will be blessed because I will begin the day on my knees and in your presence and so I ask that you look upon me with Mercy I will encounter days where I am weak but I pray that you would give me the grace to Prevail and that you

would be my source of strength Lord I desire for consistency in my prayer life let me not be the type of believer who prays today but forgets tomorrow let me not be the type of believer who is hot for you today but too busy and too tired to even read your word tomorrow give me a diligent Heart Lord Jesus I want to be consistent I want to be disciplined in my prayer life but I can only achieve this not by my own might nor by my own power but by your precious holy spirit so father

I pray that you would meet me at my point of need meet me at the place that my own ability fails so that you can dip demonstrate your might and power and regardless of how my daytoday looks regardless of my responsibilities regardless of my schedule I pray that the Holy Spirit would convict me to pray first before I do anything else after I wake up your word in Lamentations 3: 22 to 23 says the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases his mercies never never come to an end they are new every morning great is

your faithfulness your mercy is new every morning and so father I pray that your grace would be found readily available to see and guide me through the day may your steadfast love be my pillar of Hope comfort and Assurance I pray that you touch my life King Jesus may I have an experience with you that will rejuvenate my Zeal for the things of your kingdom may you create a fire within my being a fire that burns away everything that is not of you and may that fire only Burn For You Lord continue to be my

strength when I am weary Lord continue to be my hope and comfort when I am distressed your word says come unto me all who are heavy laden and I will give you rest empty out all of the negativity in my life and instead fill me with more of you with more of the Holy Spirit fill me with good fruits and faith that will please you refresh my spirit Lord and release your presence over my life your word in Psalms 90:4 14 says satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love that we may rejoice and

be glad all our days Lord may I experience complete satisfaction in your presence each and every morning may your love fill my life and may your presence be with me all of my days I give you all the glory and honor Lord thank you for hearing my prayer in Jesus name I pray Amen to each is given the manifestation of the spirit for the common good for to one is given through the spirit the utterance of wisdom and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the Same Spirit to another Faith by The Same Spirit

to another Gifts of healing by the one Spirit to another the working of Miracles to another prophecy to another the ability to distinguish between spirits to another various kinds of tongues to another the interpretation of tongues all these are empowered by one and the Same Spirit who apportions to each one individually as he wills and the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes to fear the lord Our God for our good always that he might preserve Us Alive as we are this day and it will be righteousness for us if we are careful to

do all this commandment before the Lord Our God as he has commanded us let me hear in the mourning of your steadfast love for in you I trust make me know the way I should go for to you I lift up my soul the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases his mercies never come to an end they are new every morning great is your faithfulness how many of us are living in such a way that we are mindful that our actions our thoughts must profit our souls not just our physical bodies this world it's

temporary our bodies are temporary but your soul it needs to have a home in eternity are you mindful of that are you living in a way that reflects you being a Christian who is alert to what they expose their soul to are you guarding what you allow to come into your heart Let Me Go a step further and ask you what is the state of your heart listen to me nothing in this world is of any benefit to your soul Jesus Christ can save your soul the Gospel of Jesus Christ will save your soul the

Bible says that when we come to Christ we receive a gift a gift that has power and that power shakes us to our very core the Holy Spirit acts 4:31 says and when they had prayed the place in which they were gathered together was shaken and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness when the Holy Spirit comes into our lives Visible Changes start taking place our appetite for God increases our thirst for the words and the character of Jesus increases our desire to dwell in

his presence increases our whole lives become transformed to reflect the redeeming work of Christ and when we rely on him we gain the ability to do things we could have never dreamed of Acts 1:8 says but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be my Witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the Earth the Holy Spirit fills us with the power of the Living God not to spend on our own selfish desires but to serve others in Love For the Glory

of Christ by the Holy Spirit we have the power to love our enemies the power to overcome every force of Darkness the power to Be an Effective witness for Christ on our own we could never live up to the kind of Life Jesus requires of us but by the Spirit we can become more and more like him every day Ezekiel 36: 26 through 27 say and I will give you a new heart and a new spirit I will put within you and I will remove the Heart of Stone from your flesh and give you a

heart of Flesh and I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules our ability to live a righteous life does not depend on our own Merit it is the Holy Spirit who empowers us the Holy Spirit empowered the apostles to perform miraculous healings with the Holy Spirit in your life there comes a Grace over your life you're empowered to be longsuffering you're empowered to love the Lord your God with all your heart mind and soul 2 Corinthians 3:18 says and we all with

unveiled face beholding the glory of the Lord are being transformed into the same image from one degree of Glory to another for this comes from the Lord who is the spirit following Jesus doesn't mean our lives will be perfect we will continue to experience life s backs we will continue to struggle with sin and Temptation at times but we can rest in the fact that transformation by the holy spirit is an ongoing process and whatever work God starts in us he will surely complete Colossians 3 veres 23- 24 says and whatever you do do it

hardly as to the Lord and not to men knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance for you serve the Lord Christ and Galatians 1:10 says am I now trying to win the approval of human beings or of God or am I trying to please people if I were still trying to please people I would not be a servant of Christ what a comforting thought that nothing we do for God is in vain no one act of kindness goes unseen or unnoticed by him in this life there are many Pursuits

that ultimately lead to Nowhere worldly success material wealth the empty Applause of strangers those things won't get us anywhere every Journey eventually has an end and that end is often more disappointing than we would like but try as we may we can never stretch the boundaries of God's love there is truly no end to our walk with Christ in fact as we go on life with him gets sweeter every day God should not just be one part of our lives that we're dedicated to on Sunday mornings he should Define the totality of Our Lives God

should be the center of everything thing we do even mundane things like eating and drinking can be done to his glory how well the key is the spirit of gratitude we are meant to do all things with an attitude of love and obedience towards the God who gives us the ability to enjoy all of life's blessings when we are motivated by worldly things we end up constantly trying to prove ourselves we become constantly anxious self-conscious and often disappointed but when Jesus is the underlying motivation for everything we do our lives will overflow with joy and

peace his grace supplies us with the ability to fully enjoy this life as well as positively impact the lives of those around us today if you're feeling dissatisfied in your spiritual walk perhaps you haven't fully tapped into the power of the Holy Spirit he can shake your life in a radical way if you'll only invite him in now join me in prayer Heavenly Father you are a god of incredible power you spoke the earth into existence and all of creation bows to you and no one can resist your will I thank you for the wonderful

gift of the Holy Spirit who dwells in me I invite you Holy Spirit to come and reign in my heart your word says in John 16 veres 7-9 nevertheless I tell you the truth it is to your advantage that I go away for if I do not go away the helper will not come to you but if I go I will send him to you and when he comes he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment concerning sin because they do not believe in me I give you thanks Lord for this wonderful

reality that the Holy Spirit has come for my advantage I praise you for transforming my life in ways that I never could have imagined thank you for giving me a new heart and new desires so that I can live a life of obedience God you've promised to uphold me and to strengthen me against all the forces of evil you have promised that the Gates of Hell shall not Prevail and I believe that Lord and even in the fight against sin Lord I know that you are more than able to help me overcome my weaknesses and

to grant me the victory I choose to surrender to you so that your spirit can lead me Lord I'm tired of trying to live by My Own Strength I want to experience your power a new so Holy Spirit I ask right now that you would change my life in a radical way shake my life Lord just like you shook the Prison Walls where Paul and Silas were both held captive I need you to shake my life like you shook the ground at Pentecost come into my heart and cast out everything negative everything demonic everything sinful

that remains in my life Lord shake away everything that is sinful in my family or in my home purify every part of me with the precious blood of Jesus Christ Lord fill me with boldness so that I may declare the gospel to the whole world without fear or hesitation God come and dis place every anxiety every worry every Unholy thought that is lingering in my mind God your word tells me that your perfect love casts out all fear so God help me to be strong and not to be crippled by fear give me strength to

fight against Temptation and to overcome all the works of the devil lord my flesh is weak but my spirit is willing God I know that you give me everything I need every morning your mercies are new so father continue to work in me remove any stubbornness within me keep pulling me towards you and making your power evident in my life don't let me settle for anything less open my heart to your will and let me all always be ready to go wherever you would call shake my life but keep me firmly rooted in you lord

not go away the helper will not come to you but if I go I will send him to you and when he comes he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment concerning sin because they do not believe in me I want to speak to the one who's trying to improve their prayer life I'm talking to the one who has a desire to grow and build their personal relationship with Jesus Christ to begin with I want to draw your attention to Psalm 5 verse three it says listen to my voice in the morning

Lord each morning I bring my request to you and wait expectantly this verse puts a lot of things in perspective and we can almost deconstruct it so that it can help to form a structure for our own lives when it comes to prayer the psalmist Begins by saying listen to my voice in the morning Lord from this we can understand that David is seeking and searching for God early before he starts his day he's already saying Lord hear me as I pray can this be said of you does the Lord hear your voice in the

morning now the second line in Psalm 5:3 in the Amplified translation says in the morning I will prepare a prayer and a sacrifice for you and watch and wait for you to speak to my heart this is the key part for us I believe that this sacrifice that's mentioned it's not in the literal sense for us but rather it's symbolic you're sacrificing your own Pleasures you're sacrificing your own wants so that God can have the very start of your day you're sacrificing your will your time so that God can have the first fruits of your

day the Amplified translation of Romans 12:12 says constantly rejoicing in Hope because of our confidence in Christ steadfast and patient in distress devoted to prayer continually seeking wisdom guidance and strength listen you and I we are to be constant in prayer we are to pray at all times and to pray without ceasing dear friend we're called to pray persistently because you cannot be a True Believer you cannot be a Bible believing Christian and neglect prayer if Jesus Christ the son of God if he prayed while on Earth if he prayed consistently and frequently how can

you and I say that we follow him but choose not to follow his actions we need to pray we actually need to fight to pray right now I want to speak to the person who has a desire to make their prayer life more effective I want to speak to the individuals who genuinely want to pray fervently and passionately the first thing I want to tell you is that you need the Holy Spirit you need to welcome the Holy Spirit you need to seek to be filled by the Holy Spirit and you need to invite him

in invite him into your prayer closet the Bible says over in Romans 8: 26- 27 likewise the spirit helps us in our weakness for we do not know what to pray for as we ought but the spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words and he who searches Hearts knows what is the mind of the spirit because the spirit intercedes for the Saints according to the will of God do you see the importance of the Holy Spirit when it comes to your prayer life he's the one who helps us in our weakness

and believe me a lot of the time we are all too weak to pray and at times we don't know what to pray not outside of the usual requests that we have but you see it's the Holy Ghost who empowers us and he intercedes for us Matthew 6:7 says and when you pray do not Heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do for they think that they will be heard for their many words you see one of the biggest mistakes we can make is to pray without the guidance leadership or influence of the holy spirit

because on our own our prayers will be empty they will just be vain repetitions but when we yield to the Holy Spirit and pray he's the one who intercedes for us Accord according to the will of God the holy spirit is the perfect Helper because he's the one who makes our prayers effective Ephesians 6: 17 and 18 say and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God praying at all times in the spirit with all prayer and supplication to that end keep alert with all perseverance making

supplication for all the saints did you notice how we're told to pray in the spirit at all times and so Saints I want you to invite the Holy Spirit into your lives indeed invite him into your prayer closet and right now I invite him into this time of prayer with us not only do I invite him in with us but I ask him to lead us regarding what we are to pray so let's pray father God I pray for each and every person under the sound of my voice I pray for every heart that's crying

out to know you more God we ask that you would pour your spirit out over our lives look 11:13 says if you then who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much more will the heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him so God right now we're asking fill us with your Holy Spirit transform our prayer lives God may we be people who fellowship with the Holy Spirit may we be people who are under the guidance and counsel of your spirit Lord Jesus teach us to pray in

the spirit so that our prayers may have a sweet Aroma to you Lord father we acknowledge that we need the Holy Spirit may he operate in such a mighty way in our lives Lord as we read your word I pray that the Holy Spirit would bring understanding to our minds may he open our inner ears and our eyes so that we can see the treasure that's in the word Lord Jesus I pray that the Holy Spirit would bring the scriptures to Life as we read your word and may that very word Pierce through every doubt

every eye of skepticism and every anxious mind God it's through the power of the holy spirit that we can truly intercede for our families and for our homes the holy spirit's the one who empowers us to overcome any spiritual opposition that may be hidden in the Dark Lord will you please give us more discernment open our spiritual eyes so that we can see all of the devil's attacks and then we can rebuke and overcome them in jesus' name your word says in Ephesians 5: 18-20 and do do not get drunk with wine for that is

debacher but be filled with the spirit addressing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing and making Melody to the Lord with your heart giving thanks always and for everything to God the father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ indeed Lord fill us with your spirit God let there be a mighty outpouring of the Holy Ghost over our lives let that outpouring be so strong that it'll bring Revival in our hearts that it'll bring Revival within our families and in our communities that so desperately need you and Lord let the outpouring

be so strong that it brings Revival across the land father don't let us be filled with wickedness or corrupt coruption but let us only be filled by the Holy Spirit Lord we don't want to be filled with Envy drunkenness lust or pride no no we only want your spirit Lord we desire to only be filled by the Holy Spirit Romans 8:15 says for you did not receive the spirit of Slavery to fall back into fear but you have received the spirit of adoption as son Sons by whom we cry ABA father thank you ABA father

for not giving us a spirit of slavery or a spirit of fear but through your spirit we have been adopted as your children Holy Spirit we invite you to operate freely in our lives move within our homes speak to us minister to us convict us to repentance [Music] help us to live righteously and Chase righteousness Galatians 5: 16 and 17 say but I say walk by the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh for the desires of the flesh are against the spirit and the desires of the spirit are against the

flesh for these are opposed to each other to keep you from doing the things you want to do Do Lord give us the strength and the grace to walk in the spirit and not to gratify the desires of the flesh Holy Spirit Empower us and lead us and father I thank you right now and I believe by faith that you have heard this prayer father continue to help us to desire the Holy Spirit to receive the Holy Spirit to walk in the Holy Spirit help us to be led by the Holy Spirit may he guide

us not only in our prayers but in our walk with you each and every day God we're so grateful we magnify you and we pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Amen [Music] answer me speedily oh Lord my spirit fails do not hide your face from me lest I be like those who go down into the pit cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning for in you do I trust cause me to know the way in which I should walk for I lift up my soul to you the Bible says in

Psalm 37: 3 through6 trust in the Lord and do good then you will live safely in the land and prosper take Delight in the Lord and He will give you your heart's desires commit everything you do to the Lord trust him and he will help you he will make your innocence radiate like the Dawn and the justice of your cause will shine like the Noonday Sun I I call on you my God for you will answer me turn your ear to me and hear my prayer constantly rejoicing in Hope because of our confidence in Christ

steadfast and patient in distress devoted to prayer continually seeking wisdom guidance and strength like wise the spirit helps us in our weakness for we do not know what to pray for as we ought but the spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words and he who searches Hearts knows what is the mind of the spirit because the spirit intercedes for the Saints according to the will of God and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God praying at all times in the spirit with

all prayer and supplication to that end keep alert with all perseverance making supplication for all the [Music] saints and do not get drunk with wine for that is Deery but be filled with the spirit addressing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing and making Melody to the Lord with your heart giving thanks always and for everything to God the father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ if I may be honest for a moment I've come to the understanding that when I really need God no one has to tell me to

have a prayer life no one has to sit me down and tell me to read my Bible when I really need God I somehow find the strength to wake up early to pray I somehow find the time to open the word of God despite my busy schedule I even find the desire to fast and pray to wait on the Lord until I receive an answer but I have to confess if I'm to be truly objective and honest my weakness is that once my personal needs are met that strength that I had to wake up early

to pray is no longer there it seems like prayer becomes a struggle the time that I could find to open the word of God that time seems to disappear and I become even busier Saints my problem his consistency I need to be consistent in prayer whether I need something or not I need to be consistent in meditating on the word of God whether I need something or not and now I'd like to pose this question to you are you consistent in your walk with Jesus Christ do you fight to prioritize him every single day do

you remain faithful in prayer do you schedule in time to read the word of God each and every day well the Bible says in Psalm 16:8 I have set the lord always before me because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved this verse challenges me and the key word In this passage is the word always I have set the Lord always before me this says to me that there's a level of consistency there's a routine that's followed oh how we ought to desire to reach such a level of consistency that we

can confidently say I have set the lord always before me I have set the lord always before me whether I need something or not I have set the lord always before me whether I am in pain or not I have set the lord always before me whether I am joyful or in Affliction and so now let's try and expand our understanding of Psalm 16:8 as I read various translations here's what I found that verse to mean I have set the Lord continually before me because he is at my right hand I will not be shaken

another translation put it this way I keep my eyes always on the Lord with him at my right hand I will not be shaken no matter which way you look at it this verse talks about consistency I've set the Lord continually before me I keep my eyes always on the Lord and so people of God I pray that Psalm 6 16:8 would be the anthem that plays in your heart and your mind always from today keep your eyes always on Jesus Christ set the Lord Jesus Christ continually before you overall we need to remember what

2 Thessalonians 3:3 says but the Lord is faithful and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one the bottom line is that the Lord is faithful he is so faithful that he neither sleeps nor Slumbers because he's watching over us God is so faithful that even the very hairs on your head they are all numbered he's so faithful that before you were formed in your mother's womb he already knew you one passage of scripture that I'd like to highlight is revelation 5:5 it reads then one of the elders said to me do

not weep see the lion of the tribe of Judah the root of David has triumphed he is able to open the scroll and its Seven Seals I believe that this ver in Revelation is a word that we all need to hold on to and we need to receive this word word because I believe that when it says do not weep the Bible is telling us to stop worrying cease your Sorrowing don't be cast down and do not be in despair the lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed in other words he has overcome he's

come out on top he has triumphed he has conquered and this is what we need to receive and understand Jesus Christ The Lion of the tribe of Judah the root of David has prevailed he has mastered all things he has won all battles he is in command and he is Victorious and he will he will reign forever and ever and so Saints when we think of protection we ought to know who protects us we ought to be aware of the might and the power that the Lord has it's in Jesus Christ that we have our

protection many of us try to orchestrate and control everything in our lives until one day we're faced with things that are outside of our control and the truth is the most important things in life are out of our control you can exercise exercise and diet all you want but disease can still come knocking on your door we can build magnificent buildings and structures but we must still bow to the power of a tornado a hurricane or an earthquake these things remind us that we are not in control but I want you to understand that it's

during Times Like These when we feel out of control that we are reminded of the purpose of faith faith enables us to be comfortably out of control even though we cannot control things like disease nature or death we have faith that God has a plan and that God will have the last word and so as we approach the throne of grace let us ask God to help us to move into a space where we are comfortable without knowing ask him to move us to a place where we can be comfortable not because we have all

the answers but because we know who our answer is his name is Jesus I have set the lord always before me because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved and so so let's pray to that end dear Lord Jesus you are worthy to be praised and adored thank you for your sacrifice Lord thank you for dying on a cross for me I know that I did nothing to deserve that kind of love I did nothing to earn that kind of love but you still gave yourself you gave yourself for me and

all I can do is say thank you all I can do is open my heart to you so that you can use me in your kingdom Holy Spirit help me to be consistent help me to be consistent with prayer help me to be consistent with my reading of your word Holy Spirit help me to set my eyes always before the Lord so that if all is well with me my eyes remain on Jesus and if I'm struggling and can't seem to find a way out of the mess I'm in then my eyes are still on

Jesus Lord I praise you because you're a savior to those who need to be saved you're a shelter to those who need Refuge you're a protector to those who need safety Lord I worship you father your word says in Isaiah 54:10 for the mountain shall depart and the hills be removed but my kindness shall not depart from you nor shall my Covenant of peace be removed says the Lord who has mercy on you give me peace Lord even if there's chaos and trouble all around me I ask for your peace Lord let my heart not

be afraid of anything because you've promised that even if the mountains and Hills be removed removed your kindness your promise of Peace over my life it will never be removed so I won't fear I Won't Be Shaken because greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world when life appears to be unstable Lord I won't let my soul be shaken my soul will not be moved because my God you are the way maker let your peace soothe and fill my heart dear Lord I come against anything that is not of

you God you've given me a spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind so I ask that you remove everything that opposes the peace that you've given me the love and the power that you've given me I welcome you holy Holy Spirit help me to realize the promises of God help me to realize the riches that are in the Lord Holy Spirit I invite you into my life to be with me move with me walk with me Holy Spirit and speak to me always I pray that you may be the still Small

Voice that guides me and when I encounter fear and worry I pray that you will move to calm my heart when I encounter things that discourage me and if my heart is to feel heavy I pray that the holy spirit will be my comfort Holy Spirit be my comfort on those occasions when my life appears to be broken remind me of God's word and Lead me back into the presence of Jesus Christ I find strength in you Lord because when I'm worn out when I feel weak you are The God Who renews my strength father

help me to fearlessly believe in Exodus 14:14 it says the Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace God help us to boldly embrace your word help us to embrace it boldly with no doubt help us to declare and hold on to Isaiah 40: 29-31 he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength they will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary

they will walk and not be faint I pray for strong faith God I pray that I may stand up for Jesus Christ and testify of how he turned my mourning into dancing give me strong faith Lord so that I may stand on your word in a world that is lost in a world that aims to discourage and drain hope as your children we pray for the faith that will enable us to live The Authority that we have been given in Luke 10: 19 behold I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and

over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you I declare and decree Deuteronomy 28:6 over my life that I will be blessed in my coming in and blessed in my going out because you watch over me I declare Psalm 91:10 over my life and over my family and I say that no harm will overtake me no disaster will come near my tent no evil shall befall me nor shall any plague come near my dwelling in the name of Jesus Christ I pray God I stand in faith today covered by

the power that's in the almighty name of Jesus Christ I I stand today concealed and wrapped by the blood of Jesus which is miraculous and able to defeat all evil I stand shielded and protected by the Holy Ghost you Lord Jesus are the lion of the tribe of Judah and I pray that you would defeat every demon from hell that is sent by the enemy to try and attack me I pray that you disarm every unclean spirit that seeks to creep into my house or into my life I pray that you destroy every generational curse

every negative word spoken against me in the mighty name of Jesus God I pray that your presence would always surround me and Lord I Thank you for all the goodness that you offer I'll continually place my trust in you God help me not to lean on my own understanding because you are an all knowing god so my trust it's in you Lord Jesus I bless your name and I thank you I thank you for your wonderful love I thank you for your kindness and I thank you for your protection I confess that I have joy

in my life because Jesus Christ has saved me I have freedom and a sound mind because I have laid my burdens before the Lord I confess that there's peace in my life because I am Washed by the blood of Christ Lord I praise you for your abundant mercy and I Praise You for Your Grace that Reigns over my entire life Lord I want to take this moment to thank you for hearing my prayer I count it done I believe it and I pray it in the name of Jesus Amen I have set the lord always
