80 million views 123 million views 1.3 billion views what do all of these shorts have in common they all follow my blueprint that'll make your shorts go viral every time you post in 2023 I started my first shorts channel one year later I found a strategy to constantly go viral today I'll share this knowledge with you after watching this video you'll know exactly how to plan and set up your shorts this is not your average YouTube shorts tutorial that'll tell you to get into a specific Niche before everybody else or use a secret sound to
go viral this is the blueprint top creators are using to go viral on every channel they start regardless of the niche so put your phone aside get a cup of coffee and let's get into it to break the algorithm you first got to understand it the first thing you got to know is that going viral has nothing to do with luck the algorithm sorts out the best and most engaging shorts and then progressively shows them to more people here's Mr Beast explaining it in under 30 seconds like what what do you think YouTube wants like
to me I think YouTube just wants people to click on a video and watch it to me what's important is Click durate getting people to click on your video and then average view duration average view percentage or just relative attention and you know having them watch it see YouTube's primary metric to spot a good video is if people are watching it or not the algorithm doesn't care if you have the greatest editing and script writing in the world if people are scrolling past your video to prove this let's rewind a couple of months to when
I posted this short I'd spent over $100 and a bunch of time into this video the editing was crazy but still no one watched it therefore YouTube threw my video into the garbage and didn't show it to more people I posted a few more videos on that channel and started seeing better results on each video the crazy thing is that when I started a new channel and applied what I'd learned I went viral in the first week the algorithm will always know what shorts viewers want more of so if you can consistently create shorts people
actually want to watch your channel will blow up neglect this and all work you put into your videos is a complete waste of time a good topic is the core of all viral videos and without it your video won't get any views stop creating videos you think people want to watch instead think of your core audience you're trying to Target who they are and what do they actually want to watch if you got a Channel about football great post about Cristiano Ronaldo and Champions League League don't start posting tennis highlights and call it a sports
channel it won't work also research bigger creators in your Niche what types of videos work well for them once you find it replicate it and put your own Edge to it choose topics Based on data and not your emotions let me give you an example look at my old videos all of them barely had a couple of thousand views because I created videos I thought my audience wanted to watch turned out no one cared about the top 10 best Chachi BT prompts so I started to pick my top Based on data I noticed how channels
in my Niche created videos about canva bulk create and they were doing pretty well with it so I followed the trend and created a video about it myself in the beginning it didn't gain much traction but today almost a year later it has 1.4 million views and is still pushing hundreds of views per hour the video itself ain't that great bad script trash editing but it didn't matter because it was a topic lots of people were interested in but once you found a viral topic you still need to keep the viewer engaged which leads us
to the next part take a look at this short and see if you can guess what mistake this Creator made Mr Beast shared the key secret to his success on YouTube and it's not what you'd expect like all you need to do this applies to people who have not uploaded videos but have dreams of being you let's stop right here before I reveal it just think to yourself if you can spot it drop a comment if you think you know and don't cheat now don't get me wrong this is a good topic but it still
would have never gone viral on any platform the topic of the video is Mr Beast explaining how to go viral on YouTube literally 5 seconds into the video we get Mr Beast revealing the answer most viewers will just scroll past once they get the answer they came for which will kill your attention this Creator made a mistake I see people make all the time revealing the secret too early on in the video ideally you want to reveal it at the end of the video this way people will watch your video all the way to the
end and give it a higher retention so even if you have have a good topic you're still not going to go viral if you don't know how to present it to the audience so you have a topic and an idea on how you're going to present it now it's time to visualize it this is a super important step you need to master if you want your shorts to go viral editing is how you present the video idea to your audience the thing that'll make them be able to visualize the topic when learning to combine a
good topic with good editing you will go viral every time you post there is however no correct way to edit your shorts it's different for everyone if you have a high paced voice over go with higher Pace editing and the other way around Sam suul for example can get away with just cutting out some boring parts and still get millions of views this is because his viewers aren't looking for a super stimulating experience Quick Cuts with animations would just ruin the authentic experience the viewer wants out of just hanging out with him but how do
you know what editing style you should go for think of your core audience what experience are they looking for is it a slow samul Style video or a highp short like Mr Beast the most important thing is the structure of your video how you present the story let's find out this part can be broken down into three separate segments I make sure to have all of these in my shorts to get the viewer interested you need to have a strong and engaging hook these are the first one to 5 Seconds of the video and this
is definitely the most important part of the video if your hook is not interesting enough the viewer will just scroll past it to make the viewer stay there are two things you need to include in these first couple of seconds first you need to present the topic of the video and give the viewer an idea about what it'll be about but as I said earlier you can't reveal it all in the beginning you need to leave the viewer with questions that'll be answered later on in the video let me give you an example I want
to be the first person to go skiing in the desert this short was posted a couple of days ago and today it has close to a million views but what is it that made this hook perform so well let's break it down first of all it was very quick and attention grabbing had quick music and captions but most importantly we got introduced to the topic right away skiing in the desert it's obvious what the video will be about but at the same time it leaves a lot of questions why is he doing that is it
possible to do that how would he find snow in the desert this is exactly what you want the viewer left with questions for what's about to happen next which takes us to the next part climax now you've got the viewer hooked into your video now we need to make them stay and not click off lots of creators will start the video with some crazy hook to trick the viewer into watching it and then the video has nothing to do with it don't do this it'll just leave the viewer frustrated and they'll probably click off before
getting to the end of the video the key here is to meet the expectations of the hook let's see how Griffin did it I want to be the first person to go skiing in the desert because the mountains are way too cold but the sand isn't quite slippery enough in the desert which means we'll need some snow see how he's meeting the expectations he said in the beginning he said he was going to ski in the desert and he's literally showing us the entire process let's say he instead immediately showed us a clip of him
dumping a box of snow onto the sand it would have left us super confused and a bit disappointed by showing us the entire Journey the story line gets better and it's much more engaging to look at always have this in mind when creating your shorts is the viewer getting what they came for this is the part when all answers need to be revealed in the end of the video we get to see how he's skiing on snow in the desert which makes it complete see this video as a blueprint on how you should structure your
shorts it has everything I've talked about a good topic fitting editing style and very engaging storytelling before we get to uploading the actual videos and how to optimize that you need a channel to begin with I usually goes through the process of how to create regular channels in my other videos so check that out if you want however I've been experimenting with preone channels for a while now and it's actually pretty crazy basically what Prem monetized means is that they've already met the requirements and are accepted in YouTube's part program meaning you start earning ad
Revenue after posting just a single video I don't want to talk about it too much but tick accounts has just released monetized YouTube accounts so if you want to check them out in the description also use my code how to AI if you want to let them know that you come from me it does help out a lot so I'm thankful for every one of you guys now back to the video you're on the account ready to upload what do you do the settings you're using when uploading your video won't make any huge difference on
the result some will tell you to use certain hashtags and titles to go viral but trust me that does not work it all has to do with your video there are however some things you can do to make the algorithm pick your video how often you post can have an impact on how well your videos perform I've tried everything from post once a week on different days of the week to multiple times a day and neither of them gave any result in my experience posting once a day is The Sweet Spot you'll have enough time
to keep up the quality while staying consistent with posting if once a day is too much do what works for you the most important thing is that you stay consistent with your schedule another interesting thing I found is that the time you're posting does matter this is however different for everyone the best time to post for one channel might be the worst for another and there's actually a way to see this go to your analytics and press on audience you'll then be able to see what time of day your audience is most active my audience
for example is most active during the evening which means that is the best time for me to post if you apply these things to shorts I promise promise you'll see results if you want to know more about this stuff I do have a free Discord Community where me and my mentors discuss stuff like this every single day we're currently way over 10,000 members and I mean it's free information hopefully I'll see you there if not good luck on your automation Journey
