and not worshiped yet you and I live in a generation where people worship at the altar of money where people will sell their souls for money where people will sell their own bodies for money people are selling their very consciouses for money doing things they hate doing things that goes against the morality God has inbuilt in them in order to worship the god of money that is the generation you live in a generation where people will exploit others and backstab and betray others for money money is a God for some people observe closely and you

will see a people who have exchange The Treasure of eternal life for the fleeting Allure of financial success this is why so many people are obsessed with the here and the now because all they have to look forward to is this life the pursuit of prosperity it seems has eclipsed the pursuit of godliness they are standing at the altar of money offering their time their energy and yes even their very beings in exchange for the promise of wealth and Financial Security oh the deception of it all for what does it profit a man to gain

the whole world yet forfeit his soul the tragedy deepens as we realize that more and more people are willing to trade the Eternal for the temporal the sacred for the profane they are selling their souls not in some overt Satanic ritual but in the day-to-day choices that place money on a pedestal exalted above Integrity righteousness and obedience to God sign number four people are beginning to change in the fourth verse of 2 Timothy chapter 3 we see a description of people in the last days which states that people will be lovers of pleasure more than

these last 10 years the world has experienced the chapters of Matthew 24 unravel before our very eyes painting a vivid picture of wars and rumors of wars of Nations Rising against nations of famines pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places these are the birth pangs the Heralds of a world teetering on the brink of divine judgment just look at the last 10 years alone don't you think we are witnessing the beginning of Sorrows don't you Matthew 24:58 for many shall come in my name saying I am Christ and shall deceive many and ye shall hear of

wars and rumors of wars see that ye be not troubled for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet for nation shall rise against nation and Kingdom against Kingdom and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places all these are the beginning of Sorrows yet despite the glaring reality of these signs a multitude remains ens snared in the web of deception with hearts hardened and eyes blinded to the truth of the Gospel they have heard the words of Matthew 24 they have been witnesses to the unraveling of

Prophecy and yet they stand in rejection of the Salvation extended to them the spirit of this world crafty and deceitful has blinded their minds casting a veil over their understanding and leading them astray from the path of righteousness look out for this trend in the world more and more prophetic events will occur and more and more people will indeed see that these are pro prophetic events but they will be blinded to the Glorious gospel of Christ and I have come to know that one of the greatest ways the devil blinds people from the Glorious light

of the Gospel is through business Society is busy you are busy you may be listening to me right now whilst doing three other things why it's because you are busy our society is a supersonic Society it is a society in hyperdrive instant coffee next day delivery instant this instant that and more often than not you may feel like 24 hours is not enough for you to accomplish everything you want in a day I have to go to work I have to pick up the kids I have to buy this insurance go grocery shopping maintain my

relationships with family and friends fix this because it is broken pay this bill go to sleep wake up and do it all again the culture of this world leaves you no time for God it doesn't Satan has shaped the culture of this world to be nonstop the world is shaped for people like you and I to be busy busy busy the world is shaped for people like you and I to be more and more distracted distracted distracted this is a trend that will continue in 2024 the devil being the God of this world has constructed

a culture a society that lures mankind into thinking that this life is all there is the gospel message confronts you with the reality that you will die and that you will then be judged by an eternal God the gospel message attests to this and one of the ways the devil hides this gospel message is by keeping you too busy too busy for God this world does not want you to be ready for the greatest appointment of your life there is an appointment that all men men and women must keep and that appointment is with God

the Bible tells us this very clearly Hebrews 9:27 and as it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the Judgment you can't avoid this subject this is something that all men and women must deal with so I ask you the question again are you ready to meet God are you prepared yes you've prepared your 401k yes you have prepared for retirement yes you've prepared for your children's future but are you preparing to meet God don't you want to be ready to meet God don't you want to be ready for that day when

it comes don't you I am not here to try to make you feel good with a fluffy feel-good gospel that raises your self-esteem what I am preaching about today is not to make you feel good I am not going to try to get you to live your best life today I am not going to tell you five Godly principles to make more money I am not going to talk to you about 10 steps to your breakthrough on the grand scheme of things none of those things matter what matters is you and your God that on

the day of judgment am I ready am I prepared what good is it to have all the money in the world and still spend an eternity in hell what good is it to be a king or queen on this Earth and still spend an eternity in hell what good is it for you to suffer in this life and still spend an eternity in hell I hope not are you becoming too busy for God I hope not are you focused more on the here and the now and not on eternity are you distracted by the cares

of this world I hope not has the devil shifted your mind to things on this Earth and not on Eternal things I hope not look for this trend to continue in 2024 more and more people will be distracted by the hear here and the now Trend number three the rise of false prophets look for the trend of the rise of more and more false prophets and more and more churches I fundamentally believe that there are ministers of churches today that would encourage their congregation to take the mark of the beast if it were to come

today the reason I say this is because there are some Churches now that literally conform to the world what Society does that church does what Society adopts that church and the leadership of that church adopt what Society accepts that church and the leadership of that church accept and the Bible warns us that we are moving towards a time where Society will accept the antichrist's mark and because Society at large will accept the mark of the beast there will be some Churches and church leadership teams that will accept the mark also and you can already see

a pattern in some Churches we as Believers need to wake up and look at how the spirit of the Antichrist is moving in some Churches today just as surely as there is the holy spirit there is a spirit in this world called the Antichrist spirit and if a church is not guided and led by the holy spirit of God it is led by the spirit of the Antichrist there are churches that are being overpowered by the very Spirit of the Antichrist and it is not hard to see them churches which are no longer obeying God's

word but rather are conforming to the latest trends there are churches that preach that Jesus is not the only way they have adopted a universal view of Salvation they adopt that rather than Jesus Christ being the only way to God the Father there are multiple ways to God the father and this is the very Spirit of the Antichrist attempting to demote Jesus from being the one and only way to being one of many ways 2 Thessalonians 2:7 for the mystery of iniquity doth already work only he who now lth will let until he be taken

out of the way for the mystery of iniquity doth already work his spirit is at work and even as I State this truth I know you agree with it when the mark of the beast arrives some ministers will endorse that Antichrist and his Mark to their congregation you know that is the truth over centuries people have used the Bible and twisted scripture in order for them to justify or fulfill their sinful desires I once met a man who attempted to twist scripture as to the reason why should have more than one wife people will attempt

to twist scripture to suit their own sinful agendas there isn't a doubt in my mind that they will find places to quote from scriptures to support their claims and to get their congregants confused Trend number four desensitization to sin in 2024 a disturbing trend of increasing desensitization to sin is to continue aligning eerily with the societal degradation depicted in Romans 1 12432 this passage paints a grim picture of a society surrendered to sinful desires boasting a corrupted mind and an unsettling endorsement of wickedness this trend is characterized by an expanding acceptance and normalization of behaviors

and beliefs starkly opposed to biblical teachings evident indicators of this trend can be observed in the media's portrayal of sinful behaviors not as transgressions but as normal or even commendable Lifestyles legislation changes are also reflecting a shift in moral values increasingly favoring policies that deviate from Christian doctrines societal acceptance is broadening embracing practices that were once unanimously deemed immoral this overall shift points towards a society growing numb to sin losing sight of its spiritual implications the normalization of these behaviors and beliefs signifies a departure from Biblical teachings as more people become indifferent to sin viewing

it as a mere alternative lifestyle rather than a spiritual misstep this trend is alarming signaling a need for a Reawakening to the truths of the gospel and A Renewed commitment to living out biblical principles in everyday life 2 Peter 3: 3 and 4 knowing this first that there shall come in the last days scoffers walking after their own lusts and saying where is the promise of his coming for since the father's fell sleep all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation you will continue to see scoffers in 2024 and I cannot

tell you the number of people who have approached me scoffing at preachers who preach about the last days and end time events this shouldn't surprise you because the Bible told us that this would happen they question the promise of Jesus return implying that since the time of the early Christians the fathers fell asleep nothing has changed significantly in the world to suggest that such a momentous event will occur their argument is based on the apparent consistency of the world's functioning all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation which they use to doubt

the validity of prophetic promises regarding Christ's return however the day will come when Christ returns in 2024 expect more and more scoffers for the Bible told us that in the last days there will be scoffers look for this trend to continue people of God God I've heard some things in my time as a preacher and let me tell you there are some that really make you stop and think about the state of our hearts I've had people come up to me genuinely earnestly and they've said H Pastor I grew up hearing that Jesus is coming

soon and yet here I am 50 years later and he hasn't come because of that I've stopped being a Christian now I want to address this and I hope you'll bear with me for a moment first off let's get some perspective here 50 years do you think 50 years is a long time in the sight of the almighty the Eternal one in the grand timeline of Eternity 50 years is but a blink a fleeting moment as finite beings we are bound by the ticking of the clock the changing of Seasons the progression of years all

a lifestyle that is antithetical to holy and righteous living it promotes immediate gratification and Indulgence in the pleasures of sin the encroachment of worldly ideas into the church is becoming increasingly apparent there's a dangerous notion circulating claiming one can be a Christian without adhering to the Bible this is akin to claiming vegetarianism while indulging in meat it's inherently contradictory we are witnessing a great falling away a compromise of faith that is unmistakably a sign of the times do not be shocked to hear of someone renouncing their faith it is a manifestation of the prophesied falling

unprecedented Global Rebellion against God are we not seeing this in our times I've never witnessed anything like it over my lifetime the world has undergone sign significant changes I've observed a moral shift of biblical proportions the world seems to hate what is holy and righteous while embracing sin and unholiness there are churches today that openly permit pastors to live in sin that celebrate and glorify unrighteousness by 2024 you'll witness more of this great Falling Away across Nations there's an increasing number of backsliders in churches the further many one had for the Lord has diminished the

love of many for the Lord has grown cold for the Lord the church has crept into the world and the world has crept into the church allow me to repeat this statement because it is a profound statement and a true statement the church has crept into the world and the world has crept into the church it is your job as a Believer to make sure you are not conformed to this world as a Believer it's ENT ential to ensure you aren't swayed by worldly influences the world will try to mold you to its beliefs and

ideologies but your beliefs should align with the word of God the Bible this world will try to make you accept things that God doesn't condone it doesn't promote holy and righteous living but endorses a doctrine of Hedonism the world pushes you toward immediate satisfaction and transient pleasures the religion of this world is one of the flesh it is one of indulgence of the flesh it might make you feel you have the right to sin to prioritize personal interests over others or to continuously indulge in sin because it's pleasing but remember such influences will steer you

further from God's teachings there's a troubling Trend emerging from the world and seeping into the church where people claim I am a Christian but I don't follow the Bible this assertion is contradictory it's akin to saying I'm a vegetarian but I eat chicken and beef such ideas from the world infiltrating the church are concerning you can't be a Christian and disregard the Bible we are witnessing a significant departure from Faith right in front of us it's essential to recognize that many have already been LED astray and many more are on the verge your Devotion to

God should be intentional your decision to follow Jesus must be a deliberate one you need to consciously Choose To Tread the narrow path for few find it even as we witness this great apostasy unfold ensure it doesn't Encompass you cling to your faith and hear to sound doctrines and stay true to the teachings of the Bible 2024 beckons with promise but it also brings challenges the church's responsibility is not just to guard against apostasy but to actively promote sound Doctrine ensuring that the faith once delivered to the Saints remains uncorrupted and undiluted Trend number four

moral Decay and shifts in societal values an ominous trend for 2024 the fabric of society is woven by values norms and morals that hold communities together when these threads weaken or change direction Society inevitably undergo transformation as we approach 2024 the gradual shift away from traditional biblical teachings and values as described in Paul's second letter to Timothy 2 Timothy 31:5 is becoming more evident with selfishness Pride blasphemy and a loss of natural affection On The Rise it's imperative to acknowledge and address this moral Decay one of the most glaring signs of this shift is the

alarming rise in selfishness more than ever we live in an era of me first the biblical warning of men becoming lovers of themselves seems hauntingly relevant today from husbands and wives who prioritize their desires above their families to the celebrity Pastor phenomenon where the leader becomes more prominent than the teachings of Jesus Christ the spotlight on self is blinding us to the needs of others it is new religion that is forming the religion of self and the religion of pleasure the religion of pleasure isn't new fallen Humanity has always been drawn to it today many

worship at the altar of pleasure we live in an era dominated by Pleasure Seekers rather than God Seekers an era that Embraces the mant ra eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die the religion of pleasure is really the worship of the flesh we must be vigilant because our very nature is attracted to pleasure including the fleeting Delight sin offers none of us are immune to this Allure I am tired of Christians who attempt to pretend that there is no pleasure associated with sin there is a pleasure that comes with sin there is a

pleasure that comes with sin that the fleshly man Longs for don't let anyone lie to you into believing that there is no pleasure in sin there's pleasure in fornication in adultery in sexual immorality there's satisfaction in sowing Discord in seeking Revenge drugs and alcohol too offer their own forms of pleasure sin in its many forms can be enticing but before we continue let me share a verse with you 1 Timothy 56 but she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth but she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth but she that

liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth an ungodly person who is living their life for pleasure is alive but is as good as dead since they are not living for God the pleasure of sin never lasts the pleasure of sin deceives because it never lasts the pleasure of sin always attempts to make you want more and more and more more and more the world is going to worship at the altar of pleasure in 2024 the religion of pleasure is selfish it pushes you to put your sinful desires above the well-being and the future of

your loved ones fall in love with your family put them before pleasure fall in love with your children put put them before pleasure think about how your sin can destroy your family think about how your sin could cause a division in your family pleasure can pull you away from your responsibilities it can pull you away from your duties as a husband or a wife fall in love with your husband or wife fall in love with your children they are worth more than the pleasure of sin the pleasure of sin is deceptive it will deceive you

into thinking you can live a double life you can't you really can't what secret pleasure do you have what secret pleasure do you have that your husband or wife or family know nothing about it will destroy you sin is deceptive sin is destructive numbers 32:23 be sure your sin will find you out be absolutely certain that your sin will find you out be sure your sin will find you out in conclusion as we move forward the need to be vigilant has never been greater as we stand on the cusp of 2024 the trends of global

Unity technological advancement apostasy and moral Decay are more than mere observations they serve as cautionary signposts urging us to reflect discern and act based on our convictions while the world may Veer towards a new order Believers must find strength in their faith and scripture we must remain steadfast nurturing our relationship with God and reinforcing the foundations of our beliefs
