And So It Begins and here we go diving head first into Trump 2.0 the transition to a new Trump Administration kicking into gear President Biden will speak about that this coming morning as we await his address uh from the White House morning everybody I'm Bill Hammer here we go on Thursday how you doing I'm great how are you you sleep last night I sure did yes a little bit as I said this morning I slept like a boulder nothing was moving me I'm glad to hear well I'm Dana Pino and this is America's Newsroom we'll
get you woke up this morning President Biden will address the nation following yesterday's concession speech by Vice uh New York Post here's the cover Life of the Party how Trump won more young people black Hispanic men and forg a new Republican Coalition it's a lot about what Josh was talking right uh a moment there so here's Biden from four years ago and here's Harris from this year this is Trump from four years and Trump from today all right we're going to start with Latino men okay and also I think that the different ways to approach
um things in terms of podcast is one thing but it wasn't just how they got the message out it was the message young people were screaming saying we can't afford anything our car insurance has tripled our housing is tripled how are we supposed to get ahead and their whole life has been on delay especially due to covid so they were looking for something new and they're going to get it clear they were so um more examination of all this coming up so stick with us there's a lot more to come we could do it for
24 hours but we only have us for another hour and 45 minutes so who's going to end up in the cabinet Senator Tom Cotton he has taken himself out of the running Senator Marco Rubio appeared to do the same last night on Hannity but there's still a ton of people to choose from The Washington Post reporting that Doug bergam the vake ramaswami Elon Musk and RFK Jr are all possibilities so going to be very interesting as that takes shape and so will this too your money and Wall Street soaring to a record high as Trump
goes back to Washington look at the markets when they open moments are now also the FED makes a decision on interest rates this afternoon uh very important in the near term uh we'll check in on that and there's this from New York yesterday afternoon we face this challenge before and we use the rule of law to fight back and we are prepared to fight back New York attorney general Leticia James adding fuel to the fire vowing to keep up her fight against president-elect Trump so is this really what the Democrats need right now good question
also back at the commander-in Chief there are plenty video that we are getting from Ventura County California this is Camaro California this is just Northwest of Los Angeles this Wildfire is triggered because it's super dry out there I was watching The Weather Channel yesterday they said under 5% humidity okay and then they've got the santaana Winds of course so there are mandatory evacuation orders road closures and forecasters are warning of the potential for extreme and lifethreatening blazes so we'll keep you posted on this as this video is just into Fox News Trump breaking out a
numerous cities uh demonstrators also taken to the streets in Seattle as well as New York and Philly uh chanting uh slurs and carrying banners en rage over his win um we'll see how far that goes so stand by for more on that New York attorney general latia James delivered a warning to president-elect Trump during a news conference yesterday we did not expect this result but we are prepared to respond to this result and my office has been preparing for several months because we've been here before we face this challenge before and we use the rule
of law to fight back and we are prepared to fight back once again because as the Attorney General of this great state is my job to protect and defend the rights of New Yorkers and the rule of law and I will not shrink from that responsibility let's bring in Jonathan Turley constitutional law attorney she said she didn't expect the result but maybe she should also think about did she cause it exactly you know contribute to the ca no with every one of these hearings and charges the popularity of of trump went up I mean if
they added another case he would have been elected by total acclamation I mean people were looking at New York is exactly why they needed a new uh Direction and she is the face of lawfare she ran on the pledge to nail Trump for something anything she didn't even mention what it would be and she ran on that platform and so it leaves many of us a bit cold to hear this self- congratulatory speech of hers that she's well prepared for what's coming what she did may have helped Trump more than anything else or anyone else
maybe yeah uh roll this Rana Democrat from uh California on moving past lawfare I think where we need to go candidly is to to to focus less about every one of his legal issues and all of the things about Donald Trump and focus more on the American people go to these communities that we lost listen to them uh try to understand why they're angry why they're frustrated I'm smart right levelheaded it's my understanding all the legal cases are going to wind down I don't know how that happens but apparently Jack Smith has said the same
before Trump sworn in uh and you can't justice department can't go over after a sitting president it's conflict of interest I think what is also intriguing is the house looks like it's going to stay in Republican hands if that is the case then I don't know phone conversations you name it you know maybe ABC D fill in the blank an impeachment will not happen in a second Trump term because even if the house flips Midway through his second term they could probably run out the clock over the two years of that time well that's part
of the danger what we saw with James is that with both the houses in control of Republicans any law fair is going to shift to these Das uh that that's going to have to be the center of gravity for people who want to continue laware and look laware is a form of Rage I just wrote a book about this and rage is addictive and people are not going to break that addiction they're just going to shift it to people like James who's always been willing to use it now there's still some Torpedoes in the water
we've got a sensing hearing coming up in the New York case that's not subject to a presidential pardon that's a state case you've got a very motivated judge there you've got James's own case which I think is looking bad on appeal so she may face a serious loss on the New York pallet level you have the Georgia case which has really sort of Fallen apart but there again you have a very motivated district attorney and she's going to try to keep that thing going down the road so uh we have to watch all of those
but you know I said over over a year ago that if if Trump won this election Jack Smith would likely never see a jury in either of these cases and that's that appears to be the case he is a lame duck prosecutor and people are just waiting to see if he leaves on his own or whether he's shown the door but either way he's gone in the sentencing case hearing that we're waiting for do you think that that will just go away the judge have the option of just saying I'm not going to sentence him
to jail well what he should do is do a conditional discharge without any Jail uh the problem is that that has not been the trend of his rulings in the past he's been had a rather heavy hand uh on on the side of the prosecutors I think it'd be very unwise for him to send the president any jail time but it would be appealed and the president would not have to go to jail how do you conclude that case then is is it fine or how's it resolved well because he he's 19 days away from
going into a going to a prison cell when he won reelection well there's a lot of room at the elbows on conditional discharges you know you can send people to home confinement community service but you can also do none of those and you and I think that's the option here this was a really awful case from the beginning and even people on some of the other networks have critic ize this case as being unfounded and unprecedented I I think this is where this judge needs to listen to his better angels and and call it a
day now if he imposes something harsh in terms of a sentence it'll be appealed and he very well could lose keep in mind we still haven't had an appeal on what he did at trial I think that he has layers of reversible error in this case so even if he sentenced they would now look at the whole Milla and they would then decide if this thing can even survive given the verdict all right well it's been great to have you here will you bring a flowchart next time will I'm listening really hard carefully to you
so um Mrs Charley he has the bagels and he is returning to Washington DC yes I ran a mile to get my wife Bagels cuz she is a bagel snob this is true love is true love and and we love you and thanks for being here thank you very much soon for the next case right nobody has ever listened to what the families want in any regard to any of this um what we're doing but it wasn't a clean sweep Democrats managed to keep a hold of a few Battleground seats like in Wisconsin and Michigan
but wow that Michigan race was close as for the house the vote totals are still rolling in so let's check in with senior Congressional correspondent Chad program he has the latest on these results hi Chad Dana good morning there are still close races yet to be called in Alaska Arizona and Washington the strength of former president Trump sideline two Democrats in Pennsylvania Matt cartright lost to Rob bresnahan and Susan wild lost to Ryan Mckenzie we have the US House Majority when all is said and done uh but it's going to be a shift of you
know just a couple seats one way or the other uh I'm looking forward to getting there actually having the house the Senate and the presidency lined up however the Pennsylvania Senate race is still uncalled between Democrat Bob Casey and Challenger Dave McCormack it may take days to sort out result ads but Republicans are optimistic they can cling to their majority we have a pickup opportunity in Alaska the northern main district is moving our way so the media was so quick to say that Democrats would gain seats we think we will build this majority based upon
the data we have remember we already flipped two seats in Pennsylvania we flipped a district in Michigan both house Democrats and Republicans have conference calls today on the state of play retiring Senator Joe Mansion says Democrats lost because they failed to address moderates he hopes both sides remember that the power of the middle is unbelievable I just hope when they get to Washington they remember how they got there they got there by appealing to reasonable responsible sensible people that are in the middle now moderate Democrat Scott Peters of California won reelection he says quote it's
evident that Democrats have not done a good job understanding the challenges that many of our fellow citizens face Dana Chad program getting ready to cover a new and much different Congress thank you thank you Chad Mike laa is a republican congressman who won his seat hotly contested and they spent Millions after your SE good morning to you we were speaking with speaker Johnson last week and he said he was on the tra with you and he's like you see Lawler he just goes around he's so good at this stuff and blah blah baah and then
he was telling us he was talking about abortion and go ahead he was on with laa last night talked about why that issue was not as prominent as some of the other things that people were talking about it didn't matter where we are in the country north south east west same thing everybody Fed Up about the cost of living their Rising crime rates the wide open border and the weakness on the world stage and we have plans to fix all of that beginning on day one and president Trump is going to be a transformational president
I think we're entering the most consequential ERA in a positive way that we've had probably in the modern era how do you fit into that after being in one of the most expensive house races we have seen this year well look we uh obviously delivered the majority two years ago holding my seat is critical in keeping this majority I think we're going to be able to play a significant role in the house in helping craft legislation and make sure that there is a little bit more of a balanced Approach at the end of the day
Donald Trump won a big he won every swing state he's going to win the national popular vote we flip the Senate voters want us to focus on the issues that are impacting their families most acutely and that is the economy that is the border that is the international crisis that we're seeing uh energy policy and I think we are going to hit the ground running uh come January those first 100 days are going to be critical on tax policy on energy and On the Border uh and I think we're going to be able to get
a lot done uh but I think you know being in a in a swing seat like mine uh that helps determine the majority of the house uh will'll be able to have a voice in this process I know that tax policy will be a big one energy another to try to address the inflation and price issue on immigration do you see a legislative effort if the Republicans keep the house and they have the White House and the Senate can an immigration Bill get done we're going to have to uh obviously we need to secure the
Border what Joe Biden and kamla Harris allowed over the last three and a half plus years 10 a half million migrants coming into the United States it's unfathomable and it has created a crisis in States like New York where they're spending billions of dollars so we have to secure the Border we need more border Personnel Court Personnel we do need to build border wall we passed hr2 last year I believe that will be a framework of uh uh any bill but we do have to address the long-term immigration crisis in this country we have a
shortage of doctors nurses home health aids AG workers construction workers we have a population decline longterm so we need an immigration system that works as I've said many times my wife is an immigrant I've been through this system it's fundamentally broken uh but I do believe we can get immigration done so long as we secure The Bard now uh you take a look at uh the state of New York you look at the Burrows around New York City and he did you know double digits better than he did last time around I don't know what
it says about New York the state or maybe even the city in which we live um but this here's just Jewish voters in New York Trump was at 37% four years ago he up at 46% this time a lot of that has got to do with what's happening in the Middle East and maybe on college campuses here with regard to Gaza no question we saw within the base of the democratic party uh rank anti-Semitism exploding uh and I can tell you in a district like mine that has the largest Jewish population in America in my
congressional district I won the Jewish vote overwhelmingly uh and that is because we focused on the issues I passed the anti-Semitism awareness act which codified president Trump's executive order into law Chuck Schumer refuses to pass it through the Senate Democrats failed in in their response to the anti-Semitism crisis in America uh you have Democrats calling for an arm arms embargo with Israel you have Democrats who were not supportive of Israel's right to defend itself and I think that played out in this election and you saw the Jewish vote shift you saw the Latino vote shift
and in a state like New York where Democrats control everything and they have created an affordability crisis a crime crisis the migrant crisis exploding billions of dollars of taxpayer money voters had enough Donald Trump showed up in the Bronx he showed up in Manhattan he showed up on Long Island kamla Harris didn't do any of those things and that's why you see a shift to the right and we've seen it over successive Cycles now where voters in New York are fed up with one party Democratic rule here I I just want to put up the
these numbers because the Jewish voters in New York this is from the Fox News voter analysis uh Biden won them in by 63% in 2020 Harris only won them by 54% in 2024 so there was a dramatic shift here yep no question and that's why you see think you told me you you said a month ago you said I've got x amount of unor of orthodox in my district and I'm going to win every single one of them and we did you did yep all right uh well keep in touch because you guys are going
to be busy and u a win can be energizing so absolutely and it's for the country and and we're going to get to work thank you for coming on Mike Lawler great to have you president Trump now back in now on the case since the suspected masterminder 911 and two other terrorists uh the AP reports that a military judge is now putting a plea deal back on the table uh the deal was struck by defense secretary Lloyd Austin over the summer summer says the terrorists would avoid the death penalty in exchange for a guilty plea
uh that deal has been condemned by 911 victims so we'll see what happens next here get Mo and defense secretary Lloyd Austin says the Pentagon will ensure a smooth and orderly transition to president-elect Trump's incoming Administration this comes as world leaders react to Trump's Victory they're watching to see what the new reality will be when he come becomes commander-in-chief once again and in the face of a growing number of mobile crises and joining us now is retired forestar General Jack Kean a Fox News senior strategic analyst we'll try to take you around the world if
we can maybe let's start in the Middle East here's Benjamin Netanyahu following Trump's Victory he said your historic return to the White House offers A New Beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America this is a huge Victory uh so let maybe let's start in the Middle East and what you expect well Full Throttle support for president uh for prime minister netan give him everything he needs to win the war and win it as soon as possible uh no micromanaging of the operation no pressure on him other than
what do you need and how can we get it over with as soon as possible I think what what president Trump is really facing that the major strategic shift that he'll experience in the four years he's been out of office is the fact that China Russia Iran and North Korea are colluding and cooperating and coordinating together and they become so much more aggressive and assertive it it's not isolated that Russia invaded Ukraine it's not isolated that Iran operationalized all its proxies in the Middle East and also that President XI is threatening war in the indopacific
region to take Taiwan by force if necessary all of that has taken place in the last four years why because these leaders of those adversary countries believe American leadership is weak they believe they can take advantage of the opportunity and the vulnerabilities that we're presenting to them they believe we lack the political will to confront them and I think I'm not involved in the politics of what takes place in this country but I think what the American people had in mind one of the things is to restore strong American leadership on a world stage and
that's what president Trump is going to have to deal with when American leadership is strong in the world the world is a safer place so this is pretty tricky you know it's like what 7 8 n 10 dimensional chest right now is what you're describing to us how would you strategically try and weaken that relationship what do you do where are the weak points where can you take advantage do you well you stop being paralyzed by the fear of adverse consequence we we don't give the ukrainians all they need to win that's right we we
give them just enough to to not to lose why is that because the administration is has always been afraid of escalation we have never attacked Iran despite they've attacked us over 300 times during this Administration in terms of our forces in Iraq and Syria they have attacked our warships the houthis with anti-ship ballistic missiles of all things and we have never responded against Iran and they know that we're not going to confront them so I think we have to send a very clear signal that we will confront them that we do have the political will
and given This president's performance before I think they will believe that he has the political will to confront them can you tell us about China and what the Taiwan uh the country of Taiwan is thinking well I think Taiwan is thinking that the president is going to help them he was helping them in the past let's strengthen Taiwan militarily Let's help train them and let's make certain that when China looks at that small island by comparison to the massive size of China uh that it's not worth it it if they will impose cost on them
and in concert with allies that is the message that we want to send to Mainland China and listen president Trump was the first president to ever confront China mostly it was economically but also we have to strengthen our military hand in the Indo Pacific region when we get close to China with America's number one military superpower we can deploy our troops all over the world but in a thousand miles of China Dana and we get close to that Coastline the military Advantage swings to China have toix do you think that China will uh sit back
and not do anything in the next two months coercion that is already going on with Taiwan and the Philippines continue that gotcha so uh Fox news.com here we go Iran terrified of trump presidency as Iranian currency Falls to an all Time Low Iran's trying to take him out after Su lamani I guess the first big meaning for Trump in 2017 was when President G came to Mara Lago and I think it was during that meeting where they fired missiles off uh there was a direct respons of North Korea I do believe during that meeting which
world leader do you host first today when a changing World well I I I think what we'll see from president Trump is he believed strongly in his own person diplomacy with adversaries I think he'll continue to do that and certainly he's entitled entitled to do that and I and I think and he's wants to have a friendly relationship with adversaries uh and and certainly he's not the first president that had that viewpoint but his policies in dealing with adversaries have been strong in the past and I expect them to be even stronger now given given
the reality of what we're facing in the world I these these four countries are very aggressive and assertive the American people can see it they are on the move and they've got to know that we're going to stop it and contain it and the only what we're trying to do is prevent a war here we don't want to start one we want to prevent it you've given us a lot to think about General yeah thank you it'd be fun to take a tour of his brain right General Jack Keane that may be more harm than
good I don't know I would love to get in there and see what else we can find out thank you so much than sir take care guys and we are watching the White House President Biden prepares to address the nation this morning his speech comes after his number two suffered a crushing loss to president-elect Trump plus Trump Ed edged out Harris to win Battleground Pennsylvania now the Philly Democratic party chair is torching her campaign he gave up a seed as the United States President don't have to run again for her and that's the way they
treated him now that's the way they're talking about him now H done get her foree spee for for Fore fore fore spee fore spee get Mo done m fore for
