blogging YouTube Tik Tok everyone out there is selling some type of system to you in order to do it well the truth is you know I've coached over 6,000 people and it rarely ever works like this so what happens is people start these specific types of online businesses they realize it's hard it doesn't pan out they don't build an audience fast enough whatever happens then they quit so it's kind of like a chicken and an egg scenario right like you have to kind of understand how all of the algorithms in platform work to build an audience Google YouTube Etc and you also need to understand how all the revenue streams work first affiliate marketing ads courses all of it you have to understand that first before even deciding on your first step CU sometimes people hit what I call catastrophic landmines so maybe they choose the wrong Niche or they choose the wrong platform from the beginning like maybe trying to start a blog about crypto for affiliate Revenue when actually that's really competitive creating a YouTube channel and a crypto you know Community would be a lot easier so failure it's not really from a lack of work ethic it never is I hate that you know older people say oh kids don't have work ethic these days it's really just people are missing a few key pieces to understand the full picture of how everything works together and what is actually profitable right now the good news with all of this is you can build multiple income streams into your life in a much simpler way and this Snowball Effect of authority and Leverage is something that will never get destroyed so it's not like a tiny Niche website that you build and then it doesn't work and then you just quit and all that time was wasted right it's something that is actually the easiest path for beginners because you can fail forward as you're going and learn and one that never has to be quit so there's a level of certainty or on the outcome because if I'm going to spend or you're going to spend a lot of time trying to make money on the internet we want to make sure that it doesn't go to waste and that every hour actually leads to your future goals whether that's time Freedom more time with your start with that's affiliate marketing so this is great because you don't yet have a product to sell you're just linking to other products that that exist on the internet providing your take your review your recommendation and then getting a commission on every sale so every brand most big Brands out there have affiliate programs and it looks really simple there's opportunities in every Niche so like if I Google best fishing kayaks for example totally random I can go to an article like this and then you see it's laid out the best fishing kayaks I can see the product here if I click these these can be affiliate links going to the actual company page if somebody buys it this blog this website gets a commission you can also see that you do multiple revenue streams at the same time he's got app banner ads here that he's making money on plus all these affiliate links same is true on YouTube so YouTube affiliate links I just search like beekeeping totally random right I'm like can you make money with anything random beekeeping yes there's tons of affiliate links with YouTube they add it into the description so this video is on biggest mistake beekeepers make here's products and coupons and special deals these are affiliate links so anytime somebody buys through that you get a commission so affiliate marketing is like the first thing to do because you can do it from day one add the links in your YouTube videos in your blog posts it's really simple you make commissions that way so another Revenue stream here is ADS so that's just passive ad Revenue putting banner ads on a blog post or just joining the YouTube Partner program and the ads appear in your videos so that's passive that thing takes time right it takes time to get enough traffic to a website to actually make money from ads or get enough views on YouTube to actually make decent income from ads so this one is like we're building the content now to build this audience ad revenue is just in the background it's always going to be a thing that we pursue in the future but at the beginning it doesn't really make sense to focus on you don't you can build YouTube videos don't worry about joining the partner program until you get hit over the thresholds don't join an ad Network for blogging yet because it doesn't make sense right so these know they're in the background Revenue stream number three is sponsors so sponsors are pretty standard right if you have YouTube videos you have blog post you can add companies into them and they'll pay you a flat fee to be put into them and you don't need millions of views to talk about better help or one of these bigger companies right if you're in a specific Niche teaching you can work with smaller sponsors and they'll pay you over time but again we need an audience first for that one Revenue stream four is selling your own product so that could be a course Community coaching whatever it is you're actually selling something that's what a business is so for example like this video on making money with crypto there's nordvpn which could be an affiliate link or a sponsored link here and then he's got his own course in teachable that he's selling through here so YouTube you sell courses through the link in the description blog post you put an exit intent popup in people click on that they join they get a lead magnet they sign up for your course that way so that's it it's actually that simple there's four revenue streams and we're we're really living in this algorithm driven world so we're going from attention in this attention economy to monetization so we're going from the algorithm platforms YouTube Twitter Instagram LinkedIn blogging Google whatever it is generating you know interest in affiliate and AD Revenue to unowned assets these are things that we don't own a website we can but then we're getting people to an email list which is an owned asset that you can market to in the future then we're making sales right it's really that simple so we're going from unowned to own asset from algorithm to ownership it can also look like this with different income streams so you do either a blog or YouTube content you start with affiliate marketing then you go to affiliate marketing and adds and sponsors and then you can have all four all four revenue streams and you can go multiplatform do YouTube plus blogging plus shorts and just kind of go Mass Market once you can scale this thing up and you just do this over the course of time so we know the income streams there's four of them it's pretty basic the platforms are pretty basic too it's YouTube a Blog which is a Google algorithm and then Instagram and Tik Tok What I consider short form video that also is YouTube shorts and then short text platforms LinkedIn and Twitter that's pretty much where the entire internet works in making money the number one decision that you have to make is what Niche or Niche are you going to actually choose to be in this is the biggest struggle for most people because they just don't know what to what to do so a lot of people say it should be based on your passions or based on an SEO report or some keywords that you should go after or some opportunity on YouTube the truth is it's a little bit more you know a business is more comprehensive than that this has to be based on you niches come and go search volume changes people search for Google on things differently YouTube on things there's certain things that come and go the problem with this you know choosing a niche based on some individual sub Niche segment that you think will make you money you don't choose it based on only what will make you money yes there has to be demand in the market but you can't just choose it only on that because in this type of business you need to be able to create content put it out there get better at it fail forward pivot adapt and change because that's the biggest thing that most of these systems don't teach is like you actually actually have to Pivot sometimes you can create content maybe it's not working maybe you can pivot into a different strategy right so knowing that like you don't the problem is like beginners they think they have to choose the perfect Niche and the thing is you don't and you almost can't choose the exact perfect one at the beginning because you're a beginner you have to learn and the good thing about blogging in YouTube is it's blog posts it's YouTube videos it's social media content when you look at an individual person's account it can change over time into any number of different things the backlog of content just gets pushed down to the new stuff so really you don't have to choose the perfect Niche at the beginning you just have to get started and really this business has to be based on you you are the one thing that you won't quit not a tiny Niche site about smart home devices or something like that not a YouTube channel about only one specific thing with a name that pigeon holes you you want to choose the business based on you you create a domain name at your website would be like yourname. com your YouTube channel is just your name people buy from personal Brands it's the infinitely pivotable scalable business that you can build in the background of your life that's really the two things you need to succeed in a business it has to be scalable and it has to be pivotable you can't get trapped into a thing because there's this thing called the pit of despair right most people start an online business they get excited about it they build a website a logo they file an LLC they do all these background things behind a computer I've done that before I tried to start a Drp Shipping Company and then I realized I'm like oh this actually needs to get a lot of traffic and this is really hard marketing and all that stuff and then I quit because it wasn't attached to me so all that effort was wasted What If instead it was a personal brand that's actually how I started my blog at Adam enr.

com I thought it was just going to be a digital resume I could use it to get a new job or it would be good for my career and we actually had students that do that like if you create a website if you have content you put it out on the internet you can build an agency you can get freelance clients on things like upwork you could get writing opportunities for big media sites like Forbes you can get freelance gigs you can make affiliate income ad Revenue sponsorship Revenue uh sell your own product sell ebooks sell courses dood coing do events do speaking there's like an unlimited thing we don't the thing that most people do is they just pigeon hole themselves and they really limit the opportunities because they think there's only one answer they think I have to do blogging to affiliate Revenue that's the only thing I want to do that's the system I need or I have to do Drp Shipping or I have to do Amazon FBA the truth is you need to do something based on your personality what you actually like to do what you want to do the market demand and actually your experience so professional or personal experience any leverage you have in your life this has to be based on you because you can't choose a business model that if you fail your business ends like a hotel or like I'm going to start an Airbnb I get a couple bad reviews it's done right or I have an e-commerce business I sent some products the wrong thing I got bad reviews it's over right a Content business based on a personal brand that's you is infinitely pivotable scalable you can talk about anything you can change anything everyone's just following you and then they you build trust with an audience and you build all these revenue streams into your life and I really want to go deep and cover this really quickly because it's really important right we have to stop thinking that hey you tell me the perfect Niche to choose or I'm going to look at a report and choose it this has to be based on three main things so one is you you I'm talking to you through the camera and your Niche think of like the YouTube channel you have a website with your face on it this business that you have um what would you be talking about you are only you you are a unique individual your identity your experience in life all of that has shaped who you are today and that is worth something you know you may say oh I have no experience trust me you have experience and what's nice about you is like you don't it doesn't have to be a hobby that you have it can be anything right I could talk about running I like to do it but writing about running and actually running are two very different things right I might get burned out the niche may change I get bored of it right so you want to give yourself the freedom to change niches over time and talk about whatever you want you're going to build that brand into the future you have an identity you have experiences in life that shaped who you are that can become a real brand second is your experience so this can be professional work experience or personal hobby experience there's something that you like and you know about so sometimes that can give you a unique Advantage maybe you know about new products coming on the market new things you can actually write about and create content around that you know timing is really a crucial component of this getting ahead of Trends creating YouTube videos about Trends blog posts about Trends those things can get ahead of the market and you can make money a lot faster if you know a little bit about the thing that you're getting into and number three is the market so that is basically is there demand for it and that's things like keyword research so you have to what I say go where the fish are so you can't necessarily make money if people are writing about content and creating content that no one cares about or no one cares to consume so there's things like keyword research tools we'll cover things that you can find content that a lot of people search for that are low competition to find what works for you and then you just brainstorm it's really a brainstorming exercise of writing this all out this is my professional experience my personal experience who I am as a person the markets I could help is there an itch you've scratched in the past or something you've overcome you know is there a thing that you've done a transformation that you've done that you could teach others because this is all a teaching experience when we create content on the internet we want to teach not just entertain when you entertain you create comedy videos Dance videos uh things on the street things out in public and you need basically millions of views to make money because the only way to monetize it is ads and sponsors but when you teach you open up courses and affiliate Revenue too so you and you can do it consistently with a small following so this is true of what I did you know I started one blog in 2019 and I grew it to $80,000 a month just myself and two people a writer and an Outreach specialist so that whole you know system made me a ton of money and then I wanted to teach what I did so I launched my YouTube channel in 2021 I grew that into a $4 million year business within two years so you know this is about consistent content and teaching in a niche none of my YouTube videos have gone viral right none of my blog posts got tons of views I don't have an exceptional crazy following on social media I go to the airport no one knows who I am but this business has made me last year $5. 7 million um from just simply posting content on the internet with a correct strategy so you right now have a path to make seven figures no you're not going to make it in 30 days or 90 days but if you just fail forward and learn and keep learning and keep uh investing in yourself you will eventually find success if you just expand your timeline a little bit so this is what it could look like you have Niche selection picking what you're going to talk about that's based on the opportunity plus your personality right so are you going to pick blogging or YouTube those are like the two big things are you going to put text on the Internet or are you going to put videos on the internet right and that can be based on your personality are you an introverted writer then you can be blogging right blog to affiliate revenue and ads or you can do LinkedIn to a newsletter or Twitter to a new newsletter monetizing the newsletter or you do video content if you don't mind being on video or you just want to do like a simple screen share video tutorials maybe you're not even on camera faceless things like that then you can create a YouTube video fail forward and improve keep improving creating the content adding affiliate links in building your audience eventually learning from your audience and selling your own product but it's really not that complicated it's super simple you're creating content for algorithms right to build these income streams into your life so let's talk about those algorithms real quick so with blogging with YouTube with short videos right they're different algorithms so blogging is really simple it's ranking content on Google that's keyword research on page SEO so putting the right words in the right places and then adding your own human take on it really that simple people like to over complicate it and create thousands of videos on it YouTube is also really simple the YouTube algorithm getting views that's based on click-through rate and retention so clickthrough rate how many people actually click on that thumbnail right so there's thumbnail strategies and then retention how long do people actually watch a video cuz really both of these companies are owned by alphabet right Google and YouTube is alphabet and when we think about it they just want to keep people on like YouTube wants to keep people on YouTube so the longer people watch your videos the more you will be served up in the algorithm the more they click and watch the more you'll be served it's really that simple and with Google they want to provide the quickest best information so if you're optimizing your articles for certain keywords they will do well so what type of content do we actually create that's the big question we have to choose the niche based on all those things I discussed but the thing is it's a chicken and egg scenario because you need to understand keyword research first and what type of content actually works before you would even want to consider choosing your Niche and what platform you're on so what type of content do we actually create well it's actually pretty simple there's only two types of content you'll ever create for YouTube or for blogging and that is informational content and transactional content informational content is how to do stuff how to build a shed how to start a blog how to repair your credit all of that business ideas living room ideas recipes workouts stuff that's just information that people are looking for and the second one is transactional so best products you can create a YouTube channel like the best website Builders the best e-commerce platforms the best web hosting the best credit cards all those things or um same thing with you know blog posts on the best fishing kayaks like I show the best and the thing is there's so many different opportunities out there that you would never even think exist you just have to know how to use these keyword tools so this one is HRS it's a paid tool I'm going to show you a much much cheaper version called key search this is one you can also use it's really cheap you can just find keywords and start creating content what I'm going to do like thinking from affiliate Revenue most people buy based on searching for best products and they're looking for comparative content so if I put in something like best software I can go to the matching terms tool that's going to give me everything that includes those two words plus others so for example I can drop the difficulty down look competitive Right video editing tax software antivirus what if I want to find things easier I can drop the difficulty down this is specific to Google of things that are easier to rank for it's like music production software CAD software beat making software clipping software embroidery software there's 2,800 results right so I could even put in best AI software I can find things there five AI trading AI novel writing software AI credit repair software so how the internet kind of works is like if things are competitive it's because they've been around for a little bit big companies have written about them created content around them and then it's just like a CA of stuff right so we have to find things that are new and emerging Trends in our Niche so every Niche has new and emerging products you can write about so like for example AI novel writing software is a lot easier to rank for than something like best web hosting which has been around for like 20 plus years on the internet so basically all you do is you put in the word best plus your Niche and then you look for matching terms you can do this in key search you can do this do this on Google looking for stuff but you can find all types of different things so like fishing is a niche right if you're into that there's like thousands of potential videos and blog posts you can create around it related to for affiliate Revenue best fishing sunglasses kayaks lines knots rod and real combos all kinds of things in every Niche for YouTube videos too there's a tool called vid IQ it's the exact same thing you can put in keywords and you do matching terms so what if I wanted to create a YouTube channel and make money for affiliate revenue on like drones or something cool like that well I put in DJI which is a brand versus and then it gives me all these video ideas based on searches like DJI Mini 3 versus Mini 4 Pro versus GoPro hero2 low competition overall good scores High search volume these are all potential videos you could just create on YouTube right in a really simple way the thing is like there's thousands and thousands of content opportunities out there because most people aren't doing that most people are just smass spamming Tik Tock Dance videos and funny little comedy skits that they do without any real strategy behind it if you have a real strategy behind blog posts and YouTube videos knowing how monetization Works knowing that for affiliate Revenue you do versus things things you do best plus the product category right there's hundreds and thousands of different opportunities out there just for that and then there's info stuff so you can put in how to plus your Niche to find stuff so like I put in how to blog how to create a blog write a blog make a Blog how to start a blog and make money all these different videos you could create what's also interesting is like if I did like AI tutorial what would that be maybe there's some new things you could do there so like there's a ton of very low competition super high search volume videos you could create on vigle AI tutorial I don't know what that is m Journey tutorial in video Leonardo AI so you could do simple screen share tutorials not even showing your face necessarily adding affiliate links in for different products looking in different ways so your content strategy needs to include transactional content for affiliate Revenue the best of types of categories and then also the informational Stuff how to do things ideas tutorials and things like that and that's really it then you're just consistently publishing the content on a schedule every single week so that's kind of where you have to realize like yes we want to pick something based on you your expertise your experience the niche that you should choose what you want to do whether it's writing content versus shooting videos both are pretty easy to be honest like they're not that hard so that's really it there's how-to informational tutorial stuff and then there is the best products in a niche right so those are the only two types of content you ever need to create so it goes back to what Niche do I choose well you need to know like where do the opportunities lie it would make more sense to have your niche should be like AI tutorials than it would to be talking about website Builders or blogging which has been around for a long time and as you saw from the numbers is more competitive then we have to think about well what platform does my audience consume the content on so if I'm talking about fashion it's probably on Pinterest as well and a Blog if I'm talking about crypto like I said before it might be really competitive if I'm looking at this stuff here so if I do like best crypto and I put that into the matching terms tool and I look for for that it's like okay crypto wallet difficulty 83 let's see what sites are ranking for this okay like we have coinbase Weeble Kraken itrust Capital coinbase Robinhood Kraken fidelity.
