[Music] [Music] I have prepared fruit [Music] [Music] good morning and welcome back to the channel today going to be sharing with you what a week in my life is like as a hybrid software engineer based in Texas starting off with a day at our headquarter office [Music] I overslept a bit but let's get a quick look at today's schedule and it's looking like I will have to hop on my first call from home now to check out my sleep quality not too good need a higher score by the end of the week because it's going
to be crucial for our marathon Race this weekend but this is the reality not every day is laid out perfectly [Music] [Music] so like I was saying going to take my first meeting from here I really like how flexible my team and management can be they don't really care what time of the day I work just as long as I'm still able to deliver quality work and join teen meetings of course anyways this was a town hall meeting so it's more casual where we get updates about what's going on High level at the company and
we also get to ask questions and share feedback the scaffolding of where we want to go [Music] but man the weather is not looking so good for my bike ride either but we'll figure it [Music] out so this is a little unusual but I do have to dress business friendly but I try to keep it a little comfortable with chinos or something this ultimately comes down to company culture some places even allow you to do t-shirt and sandals dress code can be tiring but it's only one or two office days for me not too bad
[Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] finally made it to the office though honestly I'm a little sad because these are my last days here haven't said it yet but I'm relocating pretty soon going to miss all the times here at the HQ and my hometown [Music] [Music] have to keep my own ergonomic Mouse on standby so I usually start by checking bit bucket notifications to see if there are any new issues or pool request also check my email and my team's chats then to plan what development task I'll take on for the [Music] day oh
and a quick pit stop now it's time to lock in [Music] n [Music] [Music] n [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] get get [Music] [Music] so in this exercise we are going to build a no set component where we get this nice animation between of what makes an animation actually feel right let's take a look at this D J animation does it feel me which makes the whole experience feel artificial it should link actions to consequences in a logical and understandable way here we have a few cards that we will build together in the FR
motion part of the course if we click on one of them more detailed view will be open so lately I've been hearing so much of this new role in the developer Community which is design engineer and honestly it's one that I resonate so much with cuz I like that mix of both design and Engineering but designing things from scratch is pretty hard and that's where mob.com comes in which is the sponsor of today's video I'm always keeping a tab open whether I'm designing new features or a totally new app because honestly I can't tell you
how much time it saves me instead of spending hours downloading apps and taking screenshots I can just quickly hop on to mobin and search their vast library of over 3 ,000 screens and 1,000 real applications what's great is that these aren't just random designs and products with zero users much like what you get on dribble instead they're from Top industry apps which have been proven and rigorously tested to be effective it's a super valuable resource for finding that initial inspiration or learning about new trends and best practices plus searching mobin is super simple I can
quickly find what I'm looking for and browse entire workflows from there I can copy it straight into to figma save it into one of my collections or even take notes with a comment to catch up later so if you two are into UI ux design you have to check out mob.com using my link down below it's a total Game Changer and thanks mobin for sponsoring today's video [Music] [Music] make the [Music] little you [Music] trade this one [Music] is [Music] aome drink [Music] all right so quick change of plans we were supposed to go out
to the track to do our Sprints or our tempo run for today just a part of our half marathon bre but it's been raining non-stop so we just decided to come to the gym we're going to be doing 4 100 me Sprints nothing too crazy because this is the taper week um and we don't want to really risk injury or just getting too fatig ahead of the race [Music] [Music] [Music] all right so welcome back and today is Friday and woke up feeling a little bit more sick was already sick earlier in the week but
it hasn't gone way unfortunately and what are the odds I really haven't been sick all summer and the week that's leading up to our race is when it happens but anyways in today's agenda I have a paired programming session with my tech lead then going to find a coffee shop to change up the setting a bit and yeah we were supposed to go out for a 2 to 3 Mile easy run today but probably just going to listen to our bodies and try to rest as much as possible and hydrate for tomorrow's race [Music] so
it's mostly like [Music] [Music] 395 super [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] around oh [Music] [Music] so good morning guys it's about 700 a.m. already and it's officially our race day so it's been 12 weeks and around 200 Mi of prep for this day and it's finally here so we're a little bit nervous but pretty confident carving up don't mind me eating my bagel but it's been a pretty cool Journey learning a lot about running and mostly long distance running which we've never tried before and the distance we would cover seemed Prett pretty impossible back then but
it's an example of what you can achieve Whenever you set your mind to some goal so yeah my time goal for today is around two less than 204 which is what I hit last week so yeah let's get to it [Music] you [Music] like [Music] so that storage yes storage half stor East Village West Village [Music] I just want to know how you get into the floor so like like is it you envision everything beforehand and then you start getting into P rolls on top of it or just I'm just like Curious how long Contin
edit a video say a 10 minute video [Music] stay [Music] clean here this one nobody [Music] uses so then I C him back and then said I'm [Music] no [Music] this is the granddau of my brother rard and rard was a na
