some of you are hurting from a broken heart right now because you never thought you would be where you are today maybe you never thought at this age you'd still be single maybe you never thought that you would have to go through a divorce maybe you never thought at this point in my life I would have feel so alone I thought I'd feel more accomplished I thought I'd have more for myself and what I noticed is a lot of us we start to re-evaluate our life and it's at those moments we kind of have a

crisis and we look up and say God where you at this was not part of the plan this is not what I thought you had for me and that is the moment that the enemy sees your broken heart and he tries to deceive you to put a stronghold within your own heart the easiest way for the enemy he's looking at your life he's looking at what you're going through he's looking at the areas that you're struggling in and we are in our most vulnerable state when we feel like our heart is broken and that is

the moment Satan wants to Jump On In have you ever noticed that before you're going through something and all of a sudden things start popping up people start coming back into your life temptations that you thought you got rid of a long time ago start coming back why because the enemy sees that you are vulnerable he knows that you're hurting right now when you deal with a broken heart you can sit in your Brokenness or you can Surrender Your Brokenness to Jesus when you feel on empty when you feel drained how quickly do you run

to him Psalm 3418 watch this the Lord is close to the Brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit look at this Psalm 1473 he heals the Brokenhearted and binds up their wounds here's what I know I know that God can heal your broken heart but you need to give him all the pieces what does that mean that means that you have to get honest before him and you have to receive this grace that he has for you right now this hour in this moment this is so awesome to know that when you bring

your Brokenness to him he will heal your brokenhearted he he will heal whatever is in shambles in your life this is a perfect time for you to bring your Brokenness to God and watch what he can do with it amen and I don't I don't know why he lets things happen or why he allows things to happen but I do know that every negative thing every broken thing that has happened in my life God can turn it into something that's beautiful beautiful God can turn it into something that is amazing you see this is what

happens in our world today our world specializes in breaking and it'll break up the relationship and break up your hope and break up your your your dreams it'll break everything up but our God Specializes in rebuilding and he can rebuild what is broken there is hope on the other side of your Brokenness listen I know what it's like sometimes to have life attack you over and over again and you're on the verge of losing your faith but I'm going to encourage you this morning do not give up hope for the source of all hope comes

from God everything good in your life right now even though it may feel like life is attacking you is still from a loving father I know what it's like to have a broken heart I know what it's like to love somebody more than they love you I know what it's like to U have somebody that you really love walk away and no matter how much money that you have money won't fix it but we can go forward asking God to heal us and asking God to heal the relationship don't judge the journey before it's over

I don't know who that was even for don't judge the Journey of seven miles El when you hadn't even been to yet see what the end will be see what the end will be Jesus plan is to renew not re old his plan is to renew he there needs to be a point where we let go of what was to take hold of what could be how can I really let go of a heartache it sounds simple sounds obvious but write it down give it to God give it to God every day if you have

to no matter how many times that memory comes back you just give it to God say Lord here it comes again I don't want it this is yours I'm giving it to you release it to him give it to him because you can't do this by yourself you've probably tried you can't do it alone look at what Jesus said in John 15 he said apart from me you can do nothing nothing so you can't do this by yourself you need God's help you've got to give it to him he says I can do all things

through Christ who gives me strength and you need the strength that only Jesus gives us through the presence of the holy spirit in your life so every day you say Lord I need to be filled in a fresh way with your power today I need the strength the power to do what you told me to do agape love is the power to love the unlovable and I need your power Lord so I'm giving this person to you I'm giving this situation to you I just release it to you and I'm asking you Lord help me

give me the strength so the first thing you do is you give it to God here's the second thing to do change your mind change your mind now here's what I mean by that don't allow yourself to Harbor thoughts about revenge don't allow yourself to Harbor thoughts of anger when you find those thoughts coming to you change the way you think you give it to God and then you change the way you think as the Bible says in Philippians 4 it says you think about things that are lovely not the things that were ugly things

that are true not the lies that were told about you think about the things that are praiseworthy and admirable he says you change your focus change your mind and think about those things you've given it to the Lord you say now Lord I'm going to think about I'm going to think about other things I don't want that stuff in my mind anymore you change the way you think here's here's what the Bible says in Romans chapter 12 it says be transformed by the renewing of your mind and instead of staying stuck in what they did

or didn't do in the relationship that leads led to its demise if I can learn about me and if I can learn about my actions and if I can learn about what I can do differently then guess what I'm already on the comeback Trail I'm already bouncing back more than I thought I would Because unless you assess you and unless you assess the things that you do and reflect on the way you contribute to the breakdown you will stay a captive to the to the fact that you have been redeemed but you're still living like

a captive you know the world is full of broken hearts no one knows the Secret Sorrows and broken hearts out there in the world but Jesus does and he binds up the broken hearts [Music]
