If you would like to learn five unique ways to leverage Notebook LM to potentially earn money online, then you've come to the right video. I'm going to be sharing five ways that I've not seen other people talk about. We're not going to be looking at the podcast feature; we're going to be doing something completely different.
So, let's get started. The first method is related to advertising copy. We're going to leverage Notebook LM to help us write enticing ad copy.
This could be important for you if you're a freelance copywriter, if you have your own products and services, maybe an e-commerce store, or if you're an affiliate marketer. Now, to demonstrate this, we need a product, so I've gone over to ShareASale, which is a popular affiliate network, and I found this company here called Emma Mattress Incorporated. I've gone to their website and I found one of their products.
This is just to demonstrate this process. Now, when you go to a product page, you want to find the product description and try to find the features and benefits. Now, some pages may be fairly obvious; in other pages, you might have to dig around for it.
If it's your own product, you should know it anyway. So, we've got this one here: Microfiber Pillow Pack. I'm going to copy this, go back to Notebook LM, just try Notebook LM, and then we'll open up a new one.
We will go to "Copy Text," and we'll paste the name of the product in here. We'll pop back, we'll copy the features of this particular product, and we'll just put that there. Then, we'll copy the benefits of this particular product, and we'll put that in there.
Then, we will click "Insert. " So, let's wait for Notebook LM to give us a product summary. Now, I'm going to take this summary and I'm going to ask it another question.
I'm going to say, "Please, could you identify the main selling points of the microfiber pillow? " Now we're going to take that summary that Notebook LM provided us and we're going to list it out into the main selling points according to the source: exceptional comfort, plush softness, good value, and includes two pillows. Now, we can't copy this stuff because AI helps us; it's not about just copying and pasting.
That's the lazy way; it's not going to work, and it's not very ethical. So, we need to use this as a base. There are two things we can do: we can rewrite this ourselves into a paragraph, or to save time, we can leverage AI.
So, let's rewrite this into a paragraph to make it unique. We'll hit enter or the little blue arrow, and then we'll see what it does. It provides us with this: "Okay, this provided excerpt focuses on the microfiber pillow and its main selling points.
" Uh, okay, well, it didn't do what we wanted, did it? So, no problem. What we will do is copy all of this up here and we'll go to a different tool.
So, let's go to Gemini. We can use ChatGPT, Gemini C, it doesn't matter. We'll plunk that in there and get rid of these little bullet points.
Here are the main selling points of the microfiber pillow: exceptional comfort, plush softness, and good value. There we go. Now I'm going to come back over here and I'm just going to ask it to rewrite this into a paragraph to make it unique.
Let's see what it comes up with: "Indulge in the ultimate comfort with our microfiber pillows. Their plush softness and exceptional quality make them the perfect choice for a restful night's sleep. Enjoy unbeatable value with this two-pillow set, offering the ideal blend of comfort and affordability.
" So, how cool is that? Now we could, if we wanted to, just go with that, and then we may have to find a nice-looking image or a video to accompany our ad depending on where we're going to advertise. But we could make this even better.
Now, most good ads will have a hook, a body of text, and then they will have an enticing call to action. So, we could then see if we can rewrite this and incorporate those elements. I'm just going to pause the video while I type out a prompt, and then I'll be back in two seconds.
So, here we are. For the above product, create some ad copy that focuses on benefits and emotions. I need a headline that grabs attention, body enticing, and a call to action.
Let's just see what it gives us. Headline: "Sleep Like Royalty on Our Microfiber Pillows. " We've got this body of text: I'm not going to read it all, but imagine sinking into a cloud of plush softness every night.
Our microfiber pillows are designed to provide unparalleled comfort and support, helping you drift off into a peaceful slumber. And the call to action: "Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to elevate your sleep experience! Order your set of microfiber pillows today and start enjoying the ultimate comfort and relaxation.
" So, how cool is that? We've gone from a generic product description page to having some really enticing ad copy that we can use as is or that we can reword and add our own stuff in. Now, of course, it's really important that you promote products that you use, you like, or that you at least know are good quality and can help people.
We don't want to use this to make bad stuff sound good. But just from starting with Notebook LM, we've now gone over, with the help of other AI, to create this. Amazing ad copy!
So, what's the next strategy? Well, we can use Notebook LM to help us with content repurposing. If you have a blog or a website, or you could use another third-party article if you wanted to, you can put that into Notebook LM and have it give you ideas for social media content for an email campaign.
So, let's demonstrate this process. We'll open this up, go over here to my travel site, and grab this blog post all about Nara, which is a popular place in Japan for tourists. We'll come here, hit "New Notebook," choose "Website Link," paste that in there, hit "Insert," and we'll get the first summary, which we'll use as our base.
So let's just get the summary. There we go! This source is a blog post about Nara Prefecture in Japan, providing information about the history, culture, attractions, etc.
So, under here where it says "Start typing," I can put something like this: "Summarize this blog post into tips or posts for Facebook. " Then we'll hit "Enter," and we've taken a long-form piece of content and, hopefully, we're going to get some good bits of information that we can share on Facebook. If you have a Facebook page—which maybe you should do if you have a website—you can share this content as and when you want.
So, post one: "Nara Parks dear. " Then I can take this piece of text, have an image, and rather than just talk about it, let's go ahead and actually do that. I'm over at my page; I can then come down and eventually find somewhere to post.
So, I click in there, grab this, copy that, come back, and paste it in there. I may just make this a little bit spaced out so it looks better: "Nara Parks dear. " Okay, then I need an image, so I'm going to get an image from my computer that is related.
We've got a nice-looking image there, and what I'm now going to do is hit "Post," then "Not now. " After that, I’m going to grab the URL of that particular article, the long-form article. Once this has posted, I'm then just going to find it and put something like, "I just posted the actual post itself," then hit "Enter.
" So, anybody following my page will get a notification, and some of those people can kind of click through. I've repurposed the content to potentially get more traffic to my site. Now, when you've got a website, you can have affiliate links which can monetize.
You can have display ads if you want to go down that route. You can build a newsletter, but having a website isn't much good if people don't know it exists. So, by leveraging social media, you can get people from other places back to your website.
Just by using Notebook LM to summarize my post and turn it into a Facebook post, I can do this, and I can do this for other social media networks. Of course, I can come back, do this one a couple of days later, another one after that, and so on. I could do this for pretty much every single blog post that I've got.
If you wanted to take somebody else's blog post that’s in a similar niche, you could do so, but just be careful not to copy and paste what they've got. You could paraphrase stuff and then put it on your social media. You would need your own image, but potentially, you could get people back to your site, which is on a similar topic.
This next strategy is SEO keyword research. Now, you could monetize this by offering this as a service if you are a freelancer, or you can do it for your own website to potentially get more traffic back and then monetize through affiliate stuff, display ads, or whatever it might be. So, we’re going to open up and click on "New Notebook.
" Now, for this, you want to find a blog post that is written by your competition, and one that is doing well. I just found this random post that is not in my niche, but it's something completely different. I typed in "Tarot cards for beginners," and this was ranking number one when I did a search.
So, I'm going to copy and paste this URL. I'll come here, and again, we'll try the website and see if that works. If it doesn't, then we will do it a different way.
Okay, it doesn't. In that case, we’re going to come back here, bring this down so you can see it. We’re going to use this Google Chrome extension called "Read of View," click on this, and grab pretty much all of the text.
It's quite a long post, as we can see. We want to grab everything. We don't need this, so I think it's down to here, potentially.
Oh no, maybe we do need all this. Let’s just come down. Okay, let’s just go with this for now.
We’ll copy this piece of text, come back, then we’ll go on "Source," copy the text, and paste it in there. We'll hit "Insert," so this. .
. Is going to again give us our summary that we can use as a starting point from here. If we just come down here, we're going to put this in.
So let's go to the start: summarize the top SEO keywords used in this article. We'll get rid of that, we'll just hit that, and we'll see what this comes up with and see if Notebook LM gives us some good information. Now, there's no reason why you couldn't use this in other AIs as well, but we're focused on Notebook LM.
So, let's come down here. Here’s a summary of the top SEO keywords that appear in this article: tarot cards, tarot reading, tarot decks, Major Arcana, Minor Arcana, tarot for beginners. Other notable keywords that appear frequently include intuition, spirituality, self-reflection, and symbolism.
So now we have a bunch of keywords that we know appear in the top-ranking article for the keyword that we could potentially try to target. From here, what we could do is take all of these keywords and run them through a paid tool to see which ones get the most search volume and kind of put them in an order. We can then make sure that when we write our article, we incorporate all of these keywords in detail, as well as these notable keywords down here.
You could also make sure that you incorporate these keywords naturally in your headers, in your alt text for your images, in the meta description, and basically make sure that you write a good or even better quality article. Now, if you want to leverage AI, if you want to write it manually, if you want to use PLR products to help you with the basics, that's entirely up to you. But this is a great way for us to get some intel from the top-ranked article and find out the SEO keywords that they are using.
So the next strategy is lead magnet creation, and this is really, really important for anybody that's building an email list and wants to sell their products and services, do affiliate marketing, or get more traffic back to their website. There are tons of ways you can make money doing this method. So we're going to go to a new notebook, and you want to find a blog post related to the lead magnet that you would like to create.
To demonstrate this, I want to create a lead magnet that targets people who want to visit Japan but have kids. So it's basically Japan with families: things that they can do. I can provide them with a guide and provide that guide in exchange for an email address.
I can build my list, and then I can send them other cool stuff, affiliate links, and send them back to my website, etc. I've gone and found this article here, and you want to make sure that you find a good quality article because some articles rank, but they're not always relevant or don't provide the best information. There are lots of things related to Japan that aren't actually that accurate, but I'm going to assume that this is accurate.
We're going to copy this URL, come here, click on the website, paste it in here, hit insert, and see if this works. We'll have to wait for a couple of seconds to get our summary, which is really cool. As always, this is the starting point.
Now, we want to ask a question or get it to do something else. So we're going to say: summarize the top destinations mentioned in this article. You basically want it to summarize whatever your main theme is, and we'll hit this button.
We'll wait for a few seconds, and Notebook LM will go ahead and give us a summary of these top destinations that we can then use as the basis for our lead magnet. Now, again, we've got for families and babies with toddlers. The article recommends places like parks and gardens known for their cherry blossom viewing.
For families with school-aged children, families with teenagers or teens, and for families interested in winter activities, we've got some nice stuff here. Now, of course, we're not just going to go ahead and copy this; that would be unethical—that's stealing. However, we are subject matter experts in this.
I do have a travel blog, and I've lived in Japan for 25 years, or just under, so I do know a little bit about this. But this is helping save time, and it means I don't have to think too deeply. So, what I can do is take bits of this and then go ahead and create my own lead magnet.
I can use an app such as Lead Creator, which is a fantastic tool. So I can call this "Japan with Kids. " Then, I will choose a category; I’ll choose "raw," chat GPT—no, I won’t; I’ll choose a blank lead magnet—and then I’ll hit "create.
" This is going to open it up into this where I can start to go ahead and create this. So, I could call this "Best Places to Visit in Japan with Kids. " Now, I'm probably going to highlight this, make it bold, and also make it into an H1 tag.
I'll center this. Okay, now what I’ll do is I’ll come down, and I'm going to look at one of these options. So let's say, okay, let’s use this as a title.
I'm just going to come down here and plunk that in. This I'm going to make sure that it's over at the left, and I'm going to have this as "let's go with H2. " Now, I'm going to come here, and I'm going to choose one of these places again, but I'm not going to just copy.
So, for example, let's go with Jibli Museum. I'll come here, I'll write "Jibli Museum," and from here, I'm going to write a little piece on my own. Now, you could leverage AI; don't get me wrong, you could go over to Chat GPT and say, "Write a paragraph about the Jibli Museum.
" You can copy and paste it, but if you could spend, you know, as much time as you wanted making this look nice. If you wanted to, you could add an image. So, I can, you know, click on this little slash bar here, and then I could click "Add Image.
" I could insert a video, and I can make this look really nice. I could even change the coloring if I wanted to, so I could make that a nice-looking blue. Once I'm ready, then I would go to "Email Capture," and I will choose a standard template.
It's on here on the right, "Form Fields. " I might say, "Discover the best places in Japan to visit with kids based on my 25 years of experience. " Okay, something like that.
Something that's, you know, enticing: name, email. I'm going to say, "Get the Guide. " I'll make that a capital "G.
" Styles: I'm probably going to change this background color; let's make it a nice-looking orange. We'll leave everything else as it is. In "Trigger," I'm going to basically say, "Okay, 2 seconds.
" So, after 2 seconds of people visiting this lead magnet, it's going to blur out, so they're going to have to enter this to get it. And then, in "Integration," I will connect it with my AWeber account and I'll choose my Japan list. I'm just going to pause this while I do that because I've got other lists that I need to keep secret.
Okay, so you can see we've got that there, so we're all done. I can save these changes. Now I've got this; I can go back to "Settings," and I can choose a domain that I've got.
I'll put "Japan with Kids," and we'll update this. I'll add my referral link on it; I'll update that as well. We'll go back to the content editor, and what we can do is we can just view this.
So, let's click on "View. " I've got to, uh, let's publish this first. I'll view this, and this is what people will see.
Obviously, I've not made it look nice, but then this pops up. They've got to enter this in, and then I've got a lead onto my list that I can then follow up with, with relevant information, value stories, etc. Obviously, you'd make the lead magnet look really, really nice, but again we've taken something with "Leverage Notebook LM" and we've got the base for creating a good quality lead magnet.
This final strategy is to leverage "Notebook LM" to help us create paid content. Now, in order for any course, product, or guide that you create to sell, you need to get clarity on your USP, your target market, and a bunch of other stuff. I've got videos related to that, but this is a great way to begin the process of creating a product.
To demonstrate this, we'll use a different niche, so we'll talk about mindfulness and meditation as a method for reducing stress, and we're going to create a guide based on that that we could potentially sell in the future. So, you want to go out there, and you want to find as many sources, good quality sources, on your topic. So, I've gone and I've found this one: "Mindfulness about Meditation and Getting Started.
" So, I can copy this, and I can head on over to "Notebook LM. " I can click on "Try Notebook," go through the same process again, and we'll click on "Website. " Then, we'll paste that in there and we'll see if this pulls this in and gives us our summary.
Now, you wouldn't want to do this just for one; you could do this, well, you should do this with multiple sources on the same topic. So, you can click up here and you can add another source. So, if I go back over here and find something else, I can go to this one and see if I can get some good stuff here.
We'll copy this URL, we'll come back and do the same thing. Now, you don't just have to do websites, of course. You can do, um, videos; you can do, you know, copy and paste text.
You want to make sure that you don't just randomly go and pick up any old article. You want to make sure that the article, you know, is good quality content. If I were to create a guide about mindfulness and meditation, I'd already have a level of expertise on the subject matter; otherwise, I wouldn't be creating it.
So, I'd be able to go through this content and, you know, pick out the stuff that I think offers good value. But you want to add a whole bunch of sources up here, not just one or two. So, once you did have a bunch of sources, and there's no specific number that's right or wrong, but again, you want several.
You come down here and you'll put this: "Summarize and organize this information for a guide on mindfulness for stress relief," and we'll hit this. Now we've got a couple of sources that it's drawing from. In an ideal world, there might be, you know, 5, 10, 15, whatever it might be.
Again, we got to just wait for. . .
Notebook LM to give us a summary, and then we hopefully get some ideas for chapters for a guide on mindfulness for stress release. It's taking a little bit of time, so I might pause the—oh, there we go! Okay, so now we got this.
How cool is this? This is a great starting point. Now, again, the lazy person would probably just copy these chapters and, you know, subtitles, and just use ChatGPT to write a guide.
But, again, is that going to really offer people good value that end up buying? Probably not. You're going to need to, you know, impart and share your expertise and your knowledge and experiences.
But this is great for a starting point. We've now got, you know, ideas for chapters; we've got ideas for paragraph titles, etc. So we're not just looking at a blank, blank screen and thinking, "What do I write?
" If you suffer from writer's block, this kind of stuff can really, really help. But, again, it's really important to take this as a starting point: write it in your own voice, use anecdotes, you know, your own experiences, add media such as images or videos that you've got. You could easily take this and then outsource the design if that's not your cap, or you could head over to Canva and create a really nice-looking guide that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
Then it's up to you to decide on a specific price point, whether you want to incorporate it into a sales funnel. And, of course, then you've got to go out and sell it. Now, again, if you want to learn this in a bit more detail, I've got videos that talk all about the importance of pre-selling and doing your research before you go ahead and create the product because you want to validate and make sure that your idea is good and it's going to sell before you spend time actually going to create it.
But I think you've seen in this video I've just shared five methods; there are obviously way more than five ways that you can take Notebook LM, sometimes in conjunction with other AI assistants, and use it to organize ideas, to save time, to create certain things from scratch, and just to expand on what it is you've got going on. And potentially, these can make you money; they can drive you traffic; they can build your audience; or all of the above. I hope you got value from this video.
Thank you for your time watching. I know it was quite a long one. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them below.
I'd appreciate a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, and I'll see you in the next video soon. Take care!
