never take the goodness of god for granted someone else went to bed on this earth and they never woke up but god woke you up this morning not because you were so good not because you are so holy or righteous he gave you another chance today because he loves you he looked upon you with mercy and grace so we need to be thankful we need to give him glory always and we should never take the goodness of god for granted never take the love of god for granted and so let us pray dear lord i

thank you for this new day i praise you for the gift of life please go before me today and clear my way i have my own plans for the day lord and i ask that you guide every decision that i make guide every step that i take father may your angels watch over me wherever i go may i be found in situations that will glorify you i come before you today knowing that all power is in your hands take all of me and fill me up with more of you more of your love more of

your peace and more of your joy i want more of you jesus and less of me increase in my life as i decrease take the throne of my heart take the reins over my emotions take control of my mind throughout this day may your presence be so real and so tangible to me that i may not fear anything but walk in complete faith that the god of the heavens sees me i want to walk in your arms lord and i want to be aware of you and your powerful presence in everything i do and wherever

i may go be my provider be my jehovah jireh be my waymaker lord be my strong tower my protector and my master be my leader and my shepherd i pray for wisdom lord i ask for wisdom wisdom to know how to deal with the many people that i may encounter today wisdom to handle every situation that i might face wisdom to make the right decisions when they are presented before me order my steps lord so that i may walk worthy of your calling throughout this day this is the day that you have made lord and

i will rejoice and be glad in it with gratitude i thank you for preserving my life another day father i rejoice in the gift of this new day and may the light of your presence lord may it set my heart on fire on fire to love you jesus on fire to win souls for you lord i thank you for your ultimate gift for me in the form of your son jesus christ i thank you for the precious lamb of god that saved me holy spirit walk with me and talk with me even talk through me

as i speak to people today father i pray that you open doors for me today open doors of opportunity doors that will lead to breakthroughs i pray that today will be a productive day and i refuse any spirit of confusion or procrastination lord give me a clear and sound mind give me clarity of mind so that i may make good decisions help me not to be confused in any area for your word says that you are not the author of confusion i place today in your hands father the grace the peace and protection that you

offer i claim it over my life lead me not into temptation give me the strength and grace to keep my heart pure and guarded against ungodly things protect me from any selfish or careless thoughts words or actions that don't give you glory let me have a humble spirit lord i don't want the spirit of pride to be found in me keep me from being distracted or discouraged by the devil keep me from being affected or impacted by any naysayers or negative people father keep me even from my own carnal wants and desires and thoughts that

don't bring you glory i pray that nothing can separate me from you today teach me how to choose only your way so that each step that i take will lead me closer to you help me to walk by faith and not by sight help me to walk by your word and not by my feelings lord i commit myself and my family into your hands in the name of jesus i speak the protection of the blood of jesus to surround me and my family may your pillar of fire be seen where my family and i abide

every night may your glorious fire be seen to form a hedge of protection around me father i pray for a hedge of protection at my job in my car as i travel i ask for your divine protection lord jesus give me the strength to face this day lord i don't know what it will bring and i don't know what awaits me today but be with me father direct my steps this day into a way that leads me to peace strengthen my heart to walk in obedience to your commandments i ask that you would release grace

and mercy from heaven to lead me and guide me i give you all of my fears all of my doubts any anxiety or any worries i place it all into your hands and i ask that the holy spirit will be the source of love and hope the source of joy peace and patience the source of clarity goodness and humility in my life order my steps king jesus i will not be afraid of anything that comes my way because everything is in your hands i invite you to walk with me lord i invite you holy spirit

to guide me lead me and speak to me i know that you are a god who cares for his people and i place every situation that i face today into your care i surrender every relationship that i am in to you lord i surrender every concern and worry that i have to you father i surrender all unbelief every piece of fear every negative and depressing emotion to you lord take everything that is not of you lord i pray that my life becomes a living example and others may see christ in me there are many who

are hurting in this world lord and i pray that my life is an example of your love of how you can love anyone and everyone i pray that my life is an example of your grace and mercy and may i become a living example of how you can turn someone completely around lord you know my faults and my flaws forgive me if i have been unkind lord with my words and with my thoughts forgive me if i've been selfish forgive me for holding on to old wounds instead of giving them to you forgive me for

sinning lord i set my eyes and my affections on you i look to you the author and perfecter of my faith your word says that you will keep me in perfect peace when my mind stays on you and i come to you today to ask you to renew my mind as i meditate on you and on your word i ask that you would bring me peace of mind and within me lord within my heart will you silence every confusing voice from the enemy father i have faith that you are working all things together for my

good because you are a god who loves us and even as you are performing that good work in the background even as you are working in ways that i cannot see or comprehend i will continue to trust you i will continue to have faith because your ways supersede ours your ways are higher than ours lord i invite your presence to be with me today i invite the holy spirit to guide me and lead me today i thank you for hearing my prayer and i will continue to give you all the praise and all the honor
