THE STORY OF IBRAHIM (A.S) | FULL STORY

today we are going into the life of one of the highest of The Messengers of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala after Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam and he is one of the messengers who was sent not only to his people but even to his own father and up to this point the messengers were sent to their Nations here we find a young boy he was born in Iraq he was born in Babylon Babel and at that time there was a king known as Nim this King was a very very powerful King Allah had given him a lot of

power and authority and if you notice this is the messenger the great messenger ibraim wasam Abraham May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him he is such a great man that all the messengers who came after him were from his family subh he is such a great man Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala tested him not once not twice but again and again and he passed every single test and do you know what he was mostly at the beginning single in his call nobody accepted his message besides one young boy allahar abbar so what happened

at that time the people were worshiping idols and they were worshiping wealth and he was born as he grew up he's seen his father his father the Quran says his name was Azar so we will use that particular name Azar the father of Abraham and Allah subhanahu wa taala makes mention of how Azar used to to make idols and sell them so the young boy he was was watching his father carving Idols out of wood and stone and then he would see his father selling them then he would notice people prostrate to these things that

his own father was carving and he would notice people asking these stones and these pieces of wood to give them good health and to grant them long lives and to give them sustenance and to guide them and so on so he he was shocked one day he seen this big Idol and he tells his father oh my father what is this he says these are Idols so it has such a big ear he says yes this is because it hears everything this Idol here those who will buy it it will listen to them so what

used to happen at the time the poor they could afford small Idols little ones the rich they had big big Idols so when people had a bigger problem they went to borrow a god belonging to someone else because it was bigger look at how foolish they were yet they had brains the young boy he started asking his father and Allah subhanahu wa taala makes mention of this boy ibraim in 73 different places in the Quran and in 25 different suras of the Quran one of those suras named after him Surah ibraim so Allah subhanahu wa

ta'ala makes mention of this this young boy Allah says and indeed we had given ibraim a long time ago guidance from a very early age well in advance and we knew very well Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is all knowing Allah says remember when ibraim asked his father and his Nation his people meaning his father's people what is this that you are worshiping they said straight answer straightforward they said we are worshiping idols and we will continue worshiping these Idols so he asks them a question do they hear you when you're calling out to them them

can they benefit you in any way or can they harm you in any way they neither said yes nor did they say no they kept quiet but they answered him in a different way what did they say they said we found our forefathers worshiping them that was the answer so listen very carefully they did not say yes they did not say no they just said when he he asked them do they hear you when you call or can they help you can they harm you can they benefit you they said look we found our forefathers

doing this and in another verse they said we found our forefathers exactly worshiping these Idols so we will continue worshiping the idols so ibraim makes mention of even more questions he says you see these things that you people are worshiping you and your forefathers that you have been worshiping all along all of these things that you've been worshiping for so many years they are all including yourselves enemies of mine there is only one that I worship and that is the Lord of all the worlds the Creator whoever made everything here that is whom I worship

so from a very young age he understood that I cannot worship a stone or a stick or a piece of wood or anything I need to only worship whoever made me that's it now this was the sense Allah says Allah gave him the guidance a very young age he was young very young when he started questioning some narration say his age was only seven he started questioning age of seven and after that he grew up to a young boy and so on and he started questioning look my father what are you doing Allah subhanahu wa

tala says and remember in the book the prophet Abraham may peace be upon him he was indeed a very true ful Prophet when he told his father oh my father how can you worship something that cannot hear you it cannot see you and it cannot help you in anything it won't be able to do a single thing for you oh my father knowledge has come to me that did not come to you so follow me I will show you the right path I'll show you the guidance and he's a young boy saying this say oh

my father look let me tell you common sense and I want to talk to you I want to discuss and debate with you tell me me what is the answer the father also said look don't question I don't want any questions we've been following our forefathers father and the biggest problem is I'm making money out of this how can you tell me to stop it come on and that also is a gift of Allah and it's a test of Allah Upon Us AZ he failed his test Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala had mercy on him at

that stage by sending his own son to come to him and say my father how can you worship something you making with your own hands come on come on and the father says no keep quiet and the people said no keep quiet so ibraim wasam continues he says oh my father don't worship the devil now you're falling into the Trap Of The Devil imagine as young as he was he started understanding that there are two forces the force or the Creator the maker and there is another Force trying to deviate man he says oh my

father don't worship the devil indeed the devil was very very far from The Obedience of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala the devil transgressed against the command of Allah of the most merciful oh my father I have a very big fear for you that the most merciful might punish you look at the words he's using for the most merciful to punish it has to be one act of worship that is shik Allah will not forgive Association of partnership with him but besides that he will forgive any other sin he wishes if a person dies in that condition

so if one has engaged in sh and Association of partnership with Allah in worship then if they have repented before their death good news Allah will forgive them but if they have died on that condition Allah makes a promise that for that you will have to be punished so this is why IIM am says I fear look at the two words being used I fear that punishment will overtake you from the one who is most merciful that means you have to have done something really really really badb may Allah Safeguard us from sh so ibraim

after questioning his father he starts making mention of qualities that need to be found in a diety that anyone should worship if you want to worship something you should ask yourself the following questions and he says the one who created me and the one who guides me whoever created me I owe my worship to him whoever guides me is the same one who created me I owe my worship to him the one who feeds me and who quenches my thirst the one whom when I am sick and Ill he grants me cure that is the

one the only the Creator the one who will cause my death and he will give me life thereafter and the one whom I have hope in that he can forgive my sins on the Day of Reckoning this is the statement of ibraim wasam and he continues oh my grant me the Judgment between right and wrong grant me correct judgment and join me with those who are pious he was alone nobody listened to him not one not even one allahar at that stage no one so what happened after some time Allah subhanahu wa taala says that

ibraim continued with them to remind them that whoever created the skies and the Earth and whoever made us that is whom you are supposed to be worshiping these stones and these Idols have not made anyone he says your and what is the meaning of the term we've been through it we will go through it just now but he says your is the r the creator of the skies and the Earth whoever made everything in existence is your R now the meaning of Creator nourisher cherisher sustainer provider protector curer the one in absolute control of every

aspect of existence is known as so when we say Al what we mean is all praise is due to the woried one who is the creator nourisher cherisher sustainer provider protector curer of absolutely everything in existence he is in Supreme control that is the one whom we owe every point of praise to Subhan Allah look at how powerful the statement is so ibraim am after saying that he noticed something that these people when they wanted sustenance they quickly ran to these stones and they quickly ran to all these pieces of wood that they had all

around and they went and they asked for sustenance we want sustenance and he noticed that they even went to people people who were dead and they started asking them for sustenance so look at what he says ibraim Alam says All Those whom you are calling out to besides Allah to give you sustenance they do not own a droplet of sustenance Allah is the owner of sustenance so you should solely and only ask Allah directly for sustenance for indeed he is the one who will grant you sustenance and you should be grateful and thankful to him

alone because it is to him alone you are going to return to what a powerful statement from a young boy growing up he had the sense this is why Allah says we gave ibraim the guidance a long long time ago from an early age he was rightly Guided by Allah from a young age now he started talking about these Idols to the people and questioning everyone they did not have answers the only answer they had one thing we have found our forefathers doing this that's it no other answer they were happy and this is the

way and because people were making money one borrows the god the other one doesn't borrow the God and what else used to happen according to one some historical narrations that when somebody asked an idol something and say that was done people started borrowing that Idol to say this one's got more power look at this look at how foolish they were so this is what was happening at the time and the people were excited and Shan was playing games with them flicking them from one corner to another P to boast so ibraim alisam says he says

to himself W I am going to destroy these Idols I'm going to plan and plot against them once these people are gone I will plot against the idols so what happened some people heard him making mention of these Idols a few people heard him making mention of the fact that he wants to plan something he wants to do something so they used to have their day in a week when they used to go out everybody and pray they used to take their gods along and they used to go and the father had a warehouse what

we call a warehouse where all the gods that were not yet sold were there so what happened is small ones big ones little ones ones with big ears to depict those who who can hear one with big eyes that can see and so on so ibraim when they told him let's go we want to go and pray he says I am sick he says what I am sick now he was not physically ill but what he meant is I'm sick of what you people are doing I'm not coming with you so he just said I'm

sick he didn't finish the sentence obviously he says I'm sick and I'm not coming with you so they went away when they all went he now decided to open this door he went into the room he looks at all his idols and he says yes talk to me talk to me so naturally there was no answer that is by nature there it's a stone it's a stick so he says what's wrong with you you're not talking to me he gave them a chance to talk he started hitting them and destroying them one by one and

he's asking them questions as he's destroying them what are you going to do can you help yourself you can't help yourself you can't help anyone else here you are one gone two gone three gone the whole lot of them gone but that one with big ears he left it why did he leave it because he was very intelligent extremely intelligent he hung the ax on his ear on the ear and he went away and he went back to sleep now when they came back they noticed that all these Idols are broken who did this to

our Gods indeed he is very very wrong he's from amongst the oppressors they said we heard a young boy f f meaning young a youngster we heard heard a youngster mentioning them and he his name is ibraim we heard someone called ibraim mention them why are they saying this they don't want to associate with this man if someone were to tell you I heard ibraim saying this that means they know ibraim but if someone were to say I heard someone called ibraim say this that means they want to pretend that they don't know who who

ibraim is they've got no l L with him look they did not want any association at all so they they asked ibraim they called him they said oh ibraim who did this to our Gods so he looked at them he looks at the gods and he says this big one here you ask him maybe he might know what happened see does he talk what a question look at a young boy and just try and picture the whole Community waiting and standing big big people leaders of the community and Society his father and his relatives and

everybody and they're looking at this young boy pointing there and saying you know what that's the big one I'm sure he'll have an answer for you does he talk they knew that this was wrong so what happened immediately they felt within themselves that we are wrong for a split moment they thought that you know what this youngster is right these things don't speak but immediately they were overtaken by all the other thoughts and and they said no no no no no no this young boy is wrong he is guilty so what did they do they

decided we need to punish him they had their meetings they arrested him they chained him up and they said you know what burn him to death to set an example so nobody must do this again no one and ibraim Alam is one alone but his belief in his maker was solid he says oh my Creator you are enough for me as a protector whoever made me protect me no one else I don't want anyone else's help whoever made me protect me that was his [Music] Dua so his father tells him you better keep quiet my

son his father told him at one stage oh my son if you do not keep quiet and if you do not stop asking all these silly questions I will Stone you to death personally imagine his father his own father wants to kill him wants to Stone him to death and now the community is saying burn him so what did they do they decided yes we must and they prepared a fire and one narration says it took them a long time to prepare that fire it was really they got lots of fuel from all over and

it was so hot that from a distance they they had to send the fuel with a catapult Into the Fire and it is reported that even the Birds that flew over it they dropped into it that's how hot it was and what happened they then got ibraim Alam he was all tied up in ropes and chains and they put him into a c catapult why because they couldn't throw him into there getting close to it would burn them as well and they released relas catapult so Allah created from the point that the Catapult released him

Allah created steps going down as he was being thrown he made a Dua what was this Dua one [Music] Dua wasallam tells us this in a narration inar [Applause] enough Allah is enough for me and he is the best disposer of a faith Ya Allah you are enough for me you alone protect me look what they doing you made me you can help you can hear these Idols cannot you can see these Idols cannot you are in control these Idols cannot Ya Allah I am at your protection I'm under your protection prot so as he

was released there were stairs created so he was literally coming down in such a beautiful way into the fire and these people are looking at him and as he went in Allah says we decreed to the fire we said oh fire become cold and be a means of peace to ibraim so immediately if someone is tied up with with chains and ropes for the fire to be a means of Peace it had to burn the ropes and chains so now he was released Subhan Allah he was released and as he's released he goes in there

and he felt so comfortable later on he makes mention in his life that the best time that I've ever spent during my lifetime was that time that I was in the Fire Imagine young boy Everybody is watching everybody's watching nobody said magician nobody said because they were shocked he was a boy and he is being assisted and they know for a fact none of those stones or pieces of wood none of those Idols have helped him not even one the one who made him helped him now he comes into the fire and he is very

happily enjoying and then he walks out of that fire very calmly as he walks out they're just shocked looking at him they don't know so one young man gets up and he decides I want to follow you you are right these people are wrongar young man who was this young man his nephew L the prophet L he was not yet a prophet he was a young young boy the nephew of ibraim he came up and he seen everything and he' watched it and he DEC decided I surrender to whoever made me as well and as

they were saved Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala says that they decided we now need to leave because these people are making our life difficult and they need to go so Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says L accepted his message and believed in what he brought and he said I am I am making hij for the sake of Allah I cannot worship Allah here with these people around we've tried everything they've seen the signs of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala now I need to go elsewhere so that I can worship Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala correctly and the two of them

decided to leave the place ibraim wasam asks Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala he says yeah Allah I want to see how you are going to resurrect how do you resurrect how do you give life to the dead not to say I don't believe I believe firmly but I'm just interested in knowing now this is a higher example because it is definitely a messenger nowhere near the example I gave just now but ibraim Alam Allah makes mention in the Quran and remember when ibraim Alam asked his oh my show me how do you give life to the dead

and Allah says oh ibraim don't you believe he says Oh indeed I believe but I just want to put a bit of comfort in my heart I want to see it for myself Allah told him take four birds take four birds so he got four Birds then Allah says cut them into pieces mix them up totally and put all the different pieces onto different mountains the tops of mountains different mountains then when you are standing Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says then call them see what happens they will come flying back to youbar so he did

that and then he called the birds and he started watching these birds amazing when he started watching these birds they flew flew back to him when he called and then Allah abbar Allah says and you should know that Allah is all powerful all wise this is a young boy his IM in Allah has now been strengthened one after the other and Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala gave him a lot more as they left and they went further up further away from where they were in Iraq they shifted towards the Middle East and they were on their way

to a blessed land there were people who used to worship the King he used to call himself a God as we heard yesterday they not only worshiped Idols but they also started worshiping human beings so the king says who is the one you worship oh ibraim so ibraim says I worship the one who gives life and takes that life he gives death so this King thought he's talking to a youngster who doesn't have a mind or a brain bra good enough so he says well I give life and I also cause death and what did

he do the historians make mention of the fact that he brought in two prisoners who were meant to die which means who were sentenced to death and he said look I'm giving Life free him and he was free and look I've given Death kill that one he was killed so ibraim alisam looks and decides you know what there's no point in arguing with a fool this man doesn't understand what life we're talking about the the whole gift of life that we enjoy the life as we have from the beginning to the end the life when

it started all that is what I'm meaning but if I talk to this fool in that way he's not going to understand it so the best way is to ignore that now let me attack him on another line something he will not be able to talk about he says okay alisam looks at him and says okay simple question ibraim says okay I worship the one Allah who causes the sun to rise from the East I want you to cause it to rise from the west then I will worship he was defeated completely he was a

disbeliever he had no answer no response imagine a young man CH telling a King Without Fear why because he had a he had a clean heart solid he knew nothing can harm me besides [Music] allahar so Allah says Allah will not guide those who are oppressed so now after this the King was silenced ibraim Alam left and he decides look I need to disappear from this area because they warned him they said we are going to kill you they said we are going to kill you we are going to Stone you to death and this

was a threat that they had made he decided physically I don't want to fight the only person who's accepted my message is Luke Allah says in the Quran the one who accepted his message was L at some stage there was a female who accepted his message his own wife Sarah may Allah subhanahu wa tala's peace be upon the two of them he took the two of them and decided I I now need to go and Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala showed him a place to go and Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala decided to send him further up north to

the holy lands the land of sham sham today is made up of a few countries Palestine Syria Lebanon and Jordan those areas put together that entire region is called a sham so he went and mallah he settled around close to what we know as Jerusalem today we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to take us there inshallah and we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to liberate it for us and we ask Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala to grant us Victory and to grant us peace and stability across the globe am mean so as ibraim wasam was going there

he stopped at a certain place called haran and haran he thought let me stop here and I will call these people towards Allah because only two people have accepted this message and he gave up his family he gave up his parents he gave up his community he gave up absolutely everything nothing harmed him he walked out imagine he walked out without fearing that anything is going to harm him because he knows Allah is Almighty and he continued and then he got to haran and he found that there the situation was even worse was even worse

what were they doing in haran they were worshiping the Stars he found people they did not worship stones and sticks they worshiped the stars and the beauty of it was that when they called out to the Stars they found results they got results where did these result results come from it is also a test from Allah subhanahu wa tala you find some people they decide to go to the sangas I'm sure we know about people when they are sick or something happens they go to a witch doctor a fortune teller when they go to that

Sanga they get cured they excited they happy I got cured they send other people there that does not make it right not at all that is in fact a bigger test from Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala a bigger test Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala tested them in that way and then ibraim Alam decided you know I need to speak to them properly firstly we're only three these people are whole community and I am here let me start talking to them in their language so Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says as he was sitting with them as the night came

and the Darkness fell he saw a star and he said loudly this is my R there is a chance there is a possibility this is my R they all looking at him they're like sort of happy hey this is one of us but he did not consider it nor was he ever considered considering it he was from the beginning he had a pure heart from the beginning some people when they read these verses of the Quran they translate them as though ibraim Alam had a doubt and he was looking at the stars and thinking should

I worship this should I worship that no says absolutely not what happened was in ibraim decided to use it as a method of explaining to them step by step to get to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so when that planet that was appears as a star some narration say the planet Venus as it set and it stopped appearing he looked and he says where's that star that I was worshiping just now moments ago when it set he quickly said said I don't like those things that's set because if they set what am I going to do

it's weak this now if I've got a problem right now what do I do I've got to wait for it to come back the following night in order to call out to it so they were looking at him they were slightly convincing themselves that yes this man is speaking sense and now what happened he said look I found something bigger than that what was it he saw the moon big and he says okay this is much bigger than that one we had just now I think this might be a this might be my R so

they're looking they're happy also yes he's contemplating considering when it's set he said if my maker look at how he's going back to the word maker if my maker does does not guide me my lord does not guide me then I will be from amongst those who are astray because I cannot worship this it is now gone and suddenly at Sunrise the sun appeared when the sun appeared it was shining these people used to worship Stars not the Sun but look ibraim alisam is showing them there's something bigger than the Stars the Moon the Moon

also goes there's something bigger than the moon the sun he says he looked at the Sun and he says okay okay this thing has now risen it is the biggest from all of those I think this must be the r it is more deserving of being a r than those two things that just went by now when it's set what was left there's nothing left the Stars gone the moon gone the sun gone when the Sun sets what if you have a problem at night now who do you call out to you got to wait

12 hours for that thing to come back up before you can say hey I got a problem so what did he say he said oh my people people I am free I disassociate myself completely from that which you are associating as partners with the one who made the skies the Earth the Stars the moon the sun myself and yourself whoever made me you and all these creatures in existence whoever he is I owe my entire worship solely and only to him and I will never ever associate a spe of partnership with that maker of mine

look at how powerful this man was he was given the power so immediately they started arguing with him these people started debating with him and there was a give and take speech they are saying things he is responding they are saying things he is responding then he said how can you debate with me about my own maker about my Creator about Allah and he has guided me he has has given me guidance I know that what I am doing is definitely correct I do not have a speck of doubt and this is why when we

are worshiping Allah and Allah alone without anything together with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala we know we're on the right path nobody can shake us not at all once you've tasted that you will never go backbar because you know your is with you this was the taste of ibraim so Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala speaks about this debate and after that he says I do not fear anything that you are associating as partners with Allah they can do nothing to me unless my own Creator Wills that something bad happened to me or anything happens to me they cannot

harm me they cannot benefit me I don't fear them at all the only thing I fear if Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala my maker wants something it can happen if he doesn't want it it won't happen then he he tells them he asks them a question a powerful question he says listen to how powerful the question is young man asking a question how can I fear those things that you are associating as partners with Allah when you are not fearing the fact that you have Associated partners with Allah subhanahu wa tala you not fearing Allah and

the fact that you've Associated partners with him and you want me to fear those partners that you have taken as partners with the maker with the Creator how so he says look out of us the two parties who is more deserving of peace and comfort and contentment and protection those who have believed and they have not contaminated their Iman with any association of partnership with Allah they are more deserving of comfort contentment protection and they are the ones who are rightly guided and then Allah says that was the power of debate that we gave to

ibraim over his people people Allah says we gave him the power of debating over his people it was the sign it was the evidence against his own people that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala had given him what a powerful statement ibraim in the Quran if you turn the pages of the Quran you will see in a lot of places he uses the word f meaning Creator he says the one who created me the one who created the skies the one who made this the one who made that he always used to refer to the maker because

you cannot dispute that so when we are calling people to Islam we should always tell them in Islam we only worship our maker whoever made me I call him the woried one and I put my head on the ground for him alone and nobody else this is called the M of ibraim the path and the teaching and the religion of ibraim so after that they started threatening him to kill him look at this once again another person threatening to kill and look at this man as he's now growing in age and he's got a perfect

heart it does not Shake him at all he had a problem in his own Community they threatened to kill him he left now he went to haran he's calling these people he knocked them out in debate look this is the Nai who debated the most the most May Allah's peace be upon him he debated with his parents he debated with his community he debated with with the King he debated with this one he debated with the people in haran and each time he defeated them completely this is the meaning of the term that Allah gave

him the power really Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala gave him that evidence against his people the ability to not only to to engage them in discussion but to overpower them in such a way that they have no answer so when a person has no answer what do they do when you when you have overpowered someone and now they've got no answer and they still don't want to surrender they need to start threatening you physically or beat you up why because now there's no more there's nothing left you can only become physical allahar it shows they have

defe been defeated completely so Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala speaks about that and then Allah subhanahu Waal says what a beautiful word what a beautiful word listen to this word where he disassociates himself from what they were doing and remember when ibraim Alam told his father and his people that I I am I am totally free I disassociate myself completely from what you have engaged in as terms of Association or partnership with the Creator the only one I worship is the one who made me the one who made me is whom I worship he will guide

me so Allah says and he left it as a word and a statement that remained in his offspring forever in The Offspring of ibraim alam what was the statement this was the statement that's the statement there is none worthy of worship besides one who made you finished Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala so Allah says ibraim when he uttered that statement he made sure he taught it to his offspring and Allah says we kept it for him in his progy after him amazing because of the sacrifices with us as I said moments ago we become happy when we

have engaged in Salah when we have done our zaka when we have done our fasting when we have engaged in so many Deeds when we have abstain from sin and then we say but why is my life still a mess these were the Ambia the prophets of Allah subhana waala they loved being tested by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so thereafter he left har he went to haran and he decided to go to the closer area of sham he went into sham and after some time there was a drought there and when there was a drought

there he decided let me leave this place with my family so he instructed L to head to a certain area and that area lat settled in a place known as sadom Sodom but Lam went and ibraim alisam took his wife and started walking to in a certain direction and he was heading for Egypt and when he got to Egypt there was a king the king in Egypt was a tyrant he had been ruling for many many years and whenever there's a new comer everybody knew that there's someone coming from outside a foreigner a stranger from

dialect from language from you know physical features you can see that this man is not from here it's quite simple even here in Cape Town or mind you Cape Town masallah is a rainbow City so it's not so easy to tell but whenever you go somewhere you can tell this man you know he from outside and you know if you really cannot tell let him open his mouth and you will tell in may Allah subhanahu wa taala grant us a deep understanding so ibraim Alam the the the people who were close to the king went

to describe to him what this woman who came in with ibraim Alam his wife Sarah may peace be upon them both and they said oh there's a beautiful woman who's walked in and she is so beautiful and this is what you know she's coming with a man and so on now they had a habit what was the Habit Whenever there was a man who was married to someone and they wanted her they killed him off done kill him off and take her away it's over so they said bring her the king says bring her so

as they came to ibraim who are you and what is happening he understood immediately these people they have a bad intention so the Hadith of Abu there is a narration where the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam says ibraim Alam he had to use a certain type of statement three times in his life which although it is not a clear-cut lie but the way it sounded it sounded like a lie thce the first time was when he told him look I'm sick when he wanted to destroy the idols and he says I'm sick what he meant is

not I'm physically sick although that's what they understood he meant I'm sick and tired of what you people are doing and I don't want to come secondly Allah subhanahu waala has made mention of how ibraim when he destroyed those Idols they told him who broke who destroyed these Idols he looked at them and he says I think it's the big one here that did it why don't you ask him and he might tell you if he can talk now this was was obviously something that was Common Sense we can't call it a lie but for

them it was a lie because they actually thought yes maybe you know and then they realized quickly that no this can't happen so that was the second one the third one was now when the king sent a message and they ask him who's this woman with you he said it's my sister and they had separated the two why did he say my sister if he said it's my wife they would have killed him and taken her away but now that he says my sister it means there's a problem there because now she probably has a

family and what have you and so on and you know not married so we can still take her and we don't need to kill him we can take her we don't need to kill him so at least his life was saved life saving masallah Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala tells us with the lips of a person who lies will continue lying until they are written in the books of Allah that this man is a liar so let's abstain even from the little eyeses imagine ibraim Alam it wasn't a lie as such but he had to save

his life and then listen to what happened they had separated the two they asked him questions separately who's this woman so he says she's my sister now they said okay they left them and as they were they were now taking them he he quickly looked at her and he says hey look this is what happened they asked me who you are I said you're my sister and remember make sure you also utter the same statement we don't want conflicting statements between us here you say something I say something there's a problem so Mah Allah gave

him the opportunity and the chance to quickly let her know she understood it and he said look they they heading for you they probably planning something remember you have a maker he will protect you no stone no Idol no nothing nothing they were not worried not at all I told you heart which was perfect he knew Allah's there so what happened is they called her in who are you this is what my name is this is where I come from and who is that man well he's my brother now ibraim Alam had told her already

look I'm not lying you know you are my sister in Islam we are the only two Believers here we are the only two Believers you're my sister in Islam you know Subhan Allah and at the same time this is what I need to say so when they asked her she happily said he is my brother meaning brother in Islam and at the same time the king decided right he called his the women folk to Adorn her and he says I'm marrying her and we're taking her and now Place her in the bedroom and get her

ready may Allah subhanahu wa tala grant us protection she made a Dua she says oh Allah I have worshiped you and you alone and Ya Allah I have kept myself pure and clean for my husband completely pure Ya Allah you protect me and Safeguard me and what happened there are three different narrations as to exactly what happened but the conclusion is the same let me mention all three because sometimes when you reading the story you might read one of the three and I will tell you which one is the most correct as well the first

they say that as he went to touch her when he got to the room and he went to touch her she made a Dua and Allah and he was suddenly Paralyzed by his hand he couldn't move further so it was just him and her so he says if you pray to your lord to cure me I'll release you so she prayed to Allah and said Ya Allah cure him so as he was cured he dropped his hand and he went for her again so she he was stuck for the second time now she's worried because

she's a woman she's all alone ibraim Alam is elsewhere he's also making Dua most probably and then when he was frozen for the second time paralyzed so to speak he said the same statement for the second time you make Dua you call out to your R and if I'm cured I will release you imagine he knew that I can't call out to my gods because my gods firstly he used to call himself a God and secondly whatever they used to worship in terms of stones it's not going to help him at all so he knew

that that's the god this man knew that the reason why I I am being paralyzed is for this the third time the same thing happened she made a Dua for the third time and then he called his people and he said you know what youve sent me a devil she's not a human send her away so the third time my beloved brothers and sisters when people plan to commit a sin Allah creates a barrier through his Mercy between them and the sin and it is reported that he decided to give her a girl who would

go with her and he gave her a few items and said you can carry on and don't worry now I'm not going to touch you I realized you can go she was gone the second narration is that as he was on the bed and he wanted to get closer to her his leg started shaking and he realized so he asked her to pray and so on so instead of the hand it was the legs in another narration the third narration which is the most correct according to what I have seen is that when he asked

her or asked his people his the women folk in that Palace to prepare her they all got together and they started preparing her in the room and so on and she was very very sad making Dua to Allah Ya Allah save me Ya Allah I have protected myself you have granted me this Chastity this protection to this day I have protected myself purely for my husband Ya Allah I have worshiped you alone Ya Allah grant me protection and savior so as she was very sad he walked in he was very happy and he closed the

doors when he looked at her very sad because he wanted her so desperately he also became a bit sad and when he became a little bit sad he sat down and he's looking at her and he's offering her things and she was adorned in gold and silver and jewelry and what have you but she was sad she had forgotten about everything that was not interesting she was not interested in it at all and in the process this man fell off to sleep and when he fell off to sleep he seen in his dream he seen

in his dream that this is what happened and he was he had to leave this woman untouched and release her back and let her go or he would see his own destruction so when he got up from his sleep he decided to give her a gift and what was the gift the gift was a girl this girl her name was ha the gift was given to her and she was told you can go and she went back to ibraim alisam and they lived as husband and wife in Egypt for quite a long time and mashallah

they had lots of Baraka and blessings in their business he had so much sheep and he had so much in terms of wealth and he became quite a wealthy person until they became jealous of him they started becoming jealous of him and so he decided instead of waiting for these people because jealousy leads you to plot the downfall of someone I don't want to fight with these people let me now go away let me go back to Asam I left there because of the drought I'm going to go so he took all whatever his belongings

were and he went back to Jerusalem he went back to aam and that is where he settled once again with his wife s and he had this girl known as ha now who was this girl many people say she was a slave girl she might have been their slave girl but there is a narration that says she was the daughter of a nobleman if not the king himself and she was given as a gift so when a human being is given as a gift they would be considered slav in that time but she had a

very high lineage this is also what one of the narrations say although it is not so common the most common narration say that she was a slave girl she was a slave girl however however I'd like to highlight to you that Muhammad S.I wasallam was from her lineage and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says we chose the purest line from Adam straight to Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam they wouldn't be slave girls in the process until many years later when his wife Sarah may peace be upon her felt for him being such a good man who always

made Dua that Ya Allah grant me Offspring who will be pure who will serve your cause Offspring who will surrender to you just like I have Offspring who will surrender to you just like I have remember this Dua of ibraim was very powerful and he meant it he did not just make a Dua without actually meaning it so his wife decided to give him the servant that she had had in marriage and Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala decid decided then to bless ibraim with a child after many years it is reported he was 86 years old when

he was blessed with is now he never lost hope and he knew that there is nothing to lose hope for in a verse of Allah subhanahu wa taala ibraim Alat wasam says who can ever lose hope in their own maker besides those who are totally astray so we can never lose hope in the mercy of Allah subhanahu wa tala and we shouldn't so after Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala blessed him with a child he was instructed after some time to take this wife of his and the child meaning mother and child and to move on the

earth now there are several narrations making mention of what exactly happened and why he left however let's bear in mind that almost all of them have come to us from the people of the book and the people of the book remember because the Jews and the Christians are following Messengers who are messengers of Islam yes indeed at some stage they they had been sent by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala but because they rejected Muhammad sallallah alaihi wasallam they try their best to show that his lineage was not that grand may Allah safe guard us so for

this reason they start making mention of how the mother was hated and the child and so on and S may peace be upon her was Fed Up and tired of them and she told ibraim Alam to take them and to go away that we believe is an is which means it has come to us from the people of the book with us we firmly believe it was the instruction of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to take the child to take the mother and to continue until he got to a certain place which was completely Barren it

had nothing on it it was just soil and it was a very very hot place and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala describes it and that is the valley of mecah when he got to Mak Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala issued another instruction Subhan Allah Allah subhanahu wa tala told him leave this woman and the child and go go in order to worship us we'd like you to leave ibraim Alam was the one who surrenders we all know that he was a Muslim he always said I want to be the first to surrender surrender remember the term Muslim

one who surrenders to the word of Allah subhanahu wa tala so if you surrender you are a Muslim so ibraim Alat wasam decided to leave his wife and his child and they hardly had much to eat it is reported just a day or two of food and drink and he started walking and his wife looks at him and she starts questioning him where are you going what's happening he didn't answer he just carried on then she decided there's only one thing that can can be happening here it can only be an instruction of Allah subhanahu

wa ta'ala so she says is it Allah who has instructed you to do this that is when he said yes and he continued at that moment she also surrendered and she decided not to question further and she knew for a fact that Allah was going to look after them now as he left he began to make Dua asking Allah yeah Allah I left for your sake you instructed me you told me to do things remember one thing my beloved brothers and sisters the instructions that were given to ibraim a lot of them to him at

that point the only thing that mattered was the source where it came from whether it made sense or not was not up to him meaning he did not bother if it didn't make sense it made sense that was another issue the fact that it came from The Source itself from Allah that was enough for him to surrender this is the quality of ibraim alam and this is what resulted in him being known later on Allah says Allah has taken ibraim as a very close friend is a friend he became a friend of Allah because no

matter what Allah said even if it did not make sense to him he surrendered to it because he knew where it came from so as he went he says oh I have left there behind some of my family in that Valley close to the sacred home now it is reported that the sacred house when was it built he is either speaking about something that was going to be built or he is speaking about something that used to be there a long long time ago because some narration say that it was built firstly by Adam but

we have no confirmed evidence in that regard what we do know it was built by ibraim and his son Isam whether it was there and destroyed later on by the floods what not only Allah knows however he is making mention of something Allah had instructed him to go and leave them there so he is using the same words to describe the place so he says oh Allah I have left them there in order to go and fulfill an act of worship for your sake the Salah I'm going to fulfill prayers for you or in order

to go out and call you to call out to you Allah had given him a time and the place and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala instructed him to leave so he left and he continued then what did he say he says therefore oh Allah let the hearts of the people inclin towards that Valley let the hearts of the people inclined towards that place and Grant them produce in abundance so that they may be thankful at that time there was still no one there nothing had happened there as he made a Dua he continues and Allah subhanahu

wa'ta'ala makes mention now obviously in the history we find the story of what happened there with ISAT a little baby he was breastfed for a while and then the food ran out and everything dried up Subhan Allah and the mother is looking at the child and she says no I must make an effort to try and look for some food so she decided to go up the hillock the mount Safa she went up the mountain and she's looking is there any sign no sign no life no movement no nothing so she came down making Dua

to Allah and when she gets to the bottom she's running why is she running at the bottom because she wants to get to the top of the other mount on the other side and she doesn't want to miss anyone who might pass while she's at the bottom so she runs at a specific place and then she climbs up she is in Mar she makes Dua again for sustenance Ya Allah send us some goodness Ya Allah you are the one we know you will not let us down and a couple of times she ran up and

down and down and upbar making Dua looking checking then she heard a sound and she's looking what sound is this and she came down and she looked at where the child was and there was a spring of water gushing from nowhere subh a spring of water gushing from nowhere she looked at it and she thanked Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala she thanked Allah subhanahu wa taala she sat down and she wanted to gather the water so she created a basin like structure small little Basin like structure with her hands with the muddy sand and clay that

now became like clay and mud because it was wet and she began to say in the language zum zum zum Zam it means stop stop stop because we want to now take you and drink you so you stop to this day we have this water known as Zam Zam from the same well and for your information it is gushing at this moment it is gushing at this moment thousands of gallons per hour and millions of people across the globe drink from it every single one of us know exactly what we're talking about and for your

information there is only one historic narration as to the history of that well there's no dispute about it nothing nobody has ever come up with another version regarding the well of zamzam so that is confirmed evidence according to history that it is a well of Zam Zam from that particular time of and so that is the story of zamzam and this is one of the most interesting stories of the water that that has gushed from that particular place the story of zamzam it still continues after sometime the birds began to come when the birds began

to come and they were drinking from there in the middle of the desert the middle of the desert no life was there and Caravans used to and you know In the Heat of the Moment they looking for birds why are they looking for birds not to hunt the birds but wherever you see a bird you know there's some water nearby so the clan of jorum was passing from that area and they noticed some birds in the middle of nowhere they were not expecting them so they decided to check up on what is happening and they

sent someone go and see where these birds are flying to so the birds had gone and they were sitting around this well and the water was gushing they were drinking and this messenger finds a woman with a little baby so he went back to his people the people of jom the Caravan and he explained to them they were very very amazed they came they knew this is a miracle so they asked the woman do you mind if we live here why because there's water running from here it's gushing that doesn't happen in the in in

in that particular desert it doesn't happen water gushing from underneath so when they asked her the question question she looked at them and responded very very beautifully firstly look at how honest they were they were good people if it was someone else they would have just flicked the two of them off in that they would have killed them and to taken the water because there's only two in the desert or they would have come and enslaved them and captured them and taken the water but no they asked the female they asked her look can we

come and stay here because they understood it's a miracle so from that she realized these people have good character they are disciplined people they are cultured so she said look you can come and stay here on condition that this water belongs to us not to you we'll allow you to drink from it but it's our property not yours so you can drink and benefit but Subhan Allah it is not yours to this day zamzam is not sold to this day belongs to us all we can drink from it because that zamzam is for the um

of Muhammad Al wasallam we drink from it Mah normally when they charge you they are charging you for the the can may Allah subhanahu wa taala grant us the cans that are well priced because sometimes that can is ridiculously priced so they they stayed there they were very happy and they loved the little child they loved the child and as the child grew they taught him Arabic they were pure Arabs they taught him Arabic they taught him manners and so on and as he grew up his father used to come and go his father ibraim

wasam when he came back at one stage he'd seen mashallah this is the setup and he was quite happy with it and he used to come and he used to go and thereafter one day Allah subhanahu wa tala makes mention of something that happened as ibraim Alam came into mekah and he was lying down he had a dream and he related the dream to his son the following day he took his son aside and he tells his son Allah subhanahu wa tala makes mention of this in the Quran when his son was old enough and

he used to walk with him and he used to travel with him and come back with him and so on he told his son he says oh my son I have been instructed in a Dream by Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala to sacrifice you so what do you think I should do he says oh my son oh my father do do as Allah has commanded you do as Allah has commanded you you will find me from amongst those who are patient now that Dua of his he made a Dua to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala Ya Allah make

my children from amongst those who submit to you just like I have and I do look at the child immediately he surrendered he did not take him a split second to think he says oh my father do as you you been instructed you will find me from amongst the patients allahar Allah says the two of them surrended to the instruction just to mention very briefly as to what happened he took Isam and they were going and he had taken his knife and he had sharpened it very well with the instruction of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

I told you he surrendered to that that which did not make sense to him but he knew that it came from Allah subhah wa tala he never asked Allah why did you say this when he was told to do this he did that when he was told to leave his family he left them when he was told to sacrifice he was ready and the son was also ready and the child decided to go one narration says that he says don't tell my mother yet leave her alone let us continue sort this matter out and then

we see and they went in and it is reported that Shan came to ibraim Alam three occasions trying to divert him to make him think trying to shake his heart to say this is the pure perfect heart but what do you think you're doing here this was the ultimate test no Nai no human being has ever been tested with a similar test by Allah subhanahu wa taala to sacrifice the one and only child that they had 86 years later nobody but he knew when it comes to the instruction of Allah my child comes second Allah

comes first so ibraim he defied thean and he continued against whatever Shan wanted and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says when he had put his child down and he decided to put the child on the side in such a way that he wouldn't meet the eyes of his child and he wouldn't be messed with the blood of the child Allah subhanahu wa taala speaks of how he replaced the child with a Ram from J Allah says we replaced him with a Ram from Paradise and ibraim Alam slaughtered sacrificed that Ram from Paradise and he looked and

he seen this is a ram and Allah subhanahu wa tala called out oh ibraim you are indeed truthful to us we have tested you and you have passed the [Music] test now you can ask what you want it's all yours Allah abbar allahar this was the ultimate test and the the the passing of the test was not only for the father but even for the child now there are people of the previous scriptures who say that the sacrifice was ishak or Isaac and it was not is is was not even born at the time he

was not yet there at the time and this happened in Mak so there is no point to dispute that historically it is proven through history that is was not there because after that Allah says in the Quran once Allah called out to him and told him that we have replaced this with a sacrificial Ram from Jah then Allah says and we gave him good news of another child known as is who will come to him so this was another child so Allah subhanahu wa taala makes mention of this beautiful story in the Quran and we've

heard it Allah says indeed this is a very very clear manifest test of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala it's a clear test from Allah subhanahu wa taala and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says we have granted him good news of another child and says this is how we recompense those who do good so anyone who does good they bear patience they surrender to the command of Allah at some point Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will open their doors in a way that they would never ever have understood now was growing in Mak in The Obedience of Allah subhanahu

waala and the two of them Allah subhanahu wa taala makes mention of how they built Al they built Al Allah says and remember the time when is and ibim built the Kaa they lifted its walls and they brought it up in an amazing way they were making a Dua to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala as they were doing this what was the Dua oh Allah accept this from us oh Allah we are putting up a house for you because ibraim saw his son one day sharpening his arrows one as he was sitting and he says oh

my son come here Allah has instructed me to build a house he says Dad I'm with you oh my father I'm with you let's go we build it imagine look at it no questions asked so as they began to build it it got a little bit High when it was a little bit High what happened ibraim wasam was getting the bricks or the rocks from Isam there was no mortar used no cement to it was just rock on rock on rock on rock each one was fitting into the other like a jigsaw similar to what

we spoke about when n built the ark Noah may peace be upon him so what happened as they putting it up now it's getting a bit high so Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala miraculously caused a specific rock that he was standing on to go slightly higher and he placed it then it would come slightly lower you would get the the the next one then it would go slightly higher you would place it then it would come low they knew that this is Allah it is the house of Allah he has shown us one too many times

that definitely he's with us that is the power of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and when the house was built there was a corner ibraim Alam thought to himself I want to put a proper Rock in this corner that fits flush in the corner and he was trying to look for a rock and asking Isam let's put this rock and Isam is looking for something but he couldn't find it and later on Isam came back and he seen a beautiful Rock there he says what's this he says Allah sent me a rock from Jen from Paradise

this Rock has come and this is what we call today Al it is reported in one narration one narration that that rock at the beginning was of a different color it was white but because of the sins of people as it sucks it out so to speak it changed color and became black however we know it as Al we know it as the Black Stone from the beginning we know it as the black stone and it was placed there so that was another miracle now do you want to hear the third Miracle when they were

completed they were making a [Music] Dua oh Allah make both of us surrenderers to you that is what they were interested in oh Allah make both of us surrenderers to your command at all times and not only should it stop there and oh Allah from our progeny also make them those who surrender to you so he is making Dua for himself for his son and for his generations to come my beloved brothers and sisters when we make Dua sometimes we are so selfish in it we make Dua for ourselves Ya Allah give me give me

give me give me give me I want I want I want we forg our children we forget our Offspring and we forget those who are going to be from our lineage if Allah Wills up to the day of may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala grant them our children and our lineage who will be there at the time when Isa Jesus may peace be upon Him returns onto this Earth may they be from amongst those who are with him and not from amongst those who are against so Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala granted him this wish and Allah subhanahu

wa ta'ala has given him all the messengers who came after him were from his family they were all from his family Allah says and remember when Allah tested ibraim with so many tests with words so many different tests Allah tested him with so he completed and passed all of them Allah says oh ibraim we are making you a leader for mankind we are making you a leader for mankind this evening we heard powerful verses powerful verses where Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala says to Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam we want you oh Muhammad sallah alaihi wasam to follow

the footsteps of your forefather ibraim when it comes to the clarity of worship and to extension from polytheism may Allah subhanahu wa taala grant us goodness so as he's making this Dua Allah is granting him and he's making more Dua and Allah is granting in him and suddenly The Rock he was standing on it softened for a moment just for a moment and his footprint was left on the Rock and Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala speaks about that footprint in the Quran Allah says anybody who goes to mecah where the footsteps of ibraim are literally the physical

footsteps you need to fulfill Salah for the sake of Allah at that point somewhere close the second time Allah is making mention of M ibraim Allah says indeed the first house to be built for the sake of Allah is that one in becah becah meaning in Makkah which we have blessed its surroundings and they are blessed surroundings and clear cut signs around there there is The Well of zamzam there is Mina there is the pelting of the jam where thean was and so on and at the same time there is the footprint not clear cut

signs the house is there itself that footstep of ibraim the prophet Abraham may peace be upon Him is definitely indeed there for your information again historically there is no dispute within the historians of that particular region as to where these things came about from no dispute now when there is no dispute from those who dwell there then that means it is solid and it is may Allah subhanahu waala grant us a deep understanding this is why when ibim was tested by Allah look what Allah says whenever Allah told him oh ibraim surrender he said I

surrender to the lord of the world whenever Allah told him to surrender he surrendered without betting an island as we would say so Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says thereafter who can turn away from the abrahamic religion besides the one who is himself so foolish only a fool can turn away from the religion of IIM that is what Allah says Allah says we chose him in the D and even in the we have written his name from amongst the pious so this is Allah subhanahu wa tala's gift that we have then we have a very interesting

story where Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala makes mention of when ibraim Alam went back to his wife Sarah the other wife that he had had and he was a very very very generous person ibraim so there came a time when some visitors visited him and he didn't know them three people came in good-looking people when they came in he asks his wife do you know them no we don't okay he looks at them and he wanted to serve them something so he went back into the house and he asked his wife is there anything to eat she

says well we've got a little bit of meat here he says no let slaughter a cal nice fat Cal we find at the back there a whole cow meaning a baby cow is known as a calf so he says let's Slaughter the calf he slaughtered it and he ordered his servants to cook it and on the spit properly and they brought the whole C for how many people three people they were just three of them look at how hospitable he was he wanted to give these people food so he brought this and Allah subhanahu wa

ta'ala makes mention of this when these people came he greeted them with Salam they responded with the Salam in a short while he came with a whole calf he put it forward when he saw these people are not eating I came with a calf it's cooked so well it's a top meal mashallah I want to honor my guests I don't even know them and here they are they're not eating so he started eating a little bit in order to try and encourage them but he'd seen these people are not eating and he began to tremble

in a bit of fear not to say that I'm scared you know of these people doing something to me but what's wrong with these people are these actually people he sensed something a miss something was wrong so immediately he told him hey you know what I'm starting to get a doubt what who are you here you know what's happening here I've got this feeling within me so they said don't fear ibraim we are not human beings we are angels Don't Fear ibraim we are not human beings we are angels Allah sent us with two missions

to come to you to give you some news and to go and destroy the people of L so his wife heard when she heard she started laughing his wife was standing she heard the news and she laughed a little bit laughed in the sense that finally something is being done about the people of Lu they were engaged in their own sin may Allah protect us in our hospital so Allah says when she laugh they gave her news they told her Allah says we gave her good news that you are expecting a child remember she could

not conceive and now they were given news so Allah sent three angels and they went to ibraim and after that they were on their way to lot so they gave the information the news to to Sarah and to ibraim Alim that look she is now expecting and she is bearing a child who will called is and after that he will also have more offspring so that is a Dua Allah sent angels to personally tell ibraim that you made Dua for Offspring here they are as pure as can be subh then ibraim alisam once his fear

was gone he was more worried about luk Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says once the good news came to him we gave him good news when he his fear was gone he started debating with us about L and the people of Lu like he is saying look maybe they will still turn because remember up to that point he had not asked for anyone to be punished ibraim Alam he hadn't ever asked for anyone to be punished as such or for a nation to be destroyed he continued making Dua for them and that was also one of

his characteristics he continued praying for them so he was debating he was saying look but you are going to Lo why don't you give them a bit of time and you know what there's a man in there if you're going to destroy all of them L is from amongst them don't you know that so they said look oh ibraim let's not talk about that you just turn away from that discussion because it is the instruction of Allah that they will be destroyed and that punishment will come and it is not going to be reversed so
