in the beginning God created the heavens and earth God gifted the world with marvelous creation beautiful mountains blue oceans vast jungles and breathtaking sceneries but there is a future place an eternal dwelling far exceeding anything we could ever behold when the time comes we will turn into dust and leave our physical body on Earth and return to God just like how he made Adam from dust to dust and experience Eternal peace but did you ever wonder what heaven looks like if you are curious then stay tuned because in today's Bible study we will explore heaven
and what it looks like according to the Bible Heaven has Mansions where we will dwell with Jesus in my father's house are many mansions if it were not so I would have told you I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you to myself that where I am there you may be also John 14: 2-3 imagine a mansion with rooms that never gets full where everyone is comfortable resting this is what Jesus said to his disciples before his death Jesus
reassures his disciples with a promise of Eternal fellowship and belonging he speaks of his father's house having many rooms indicating a place with ample space for all believers Jesus promised to go and prepare a place for us emphasizes his love for us ensuring our eternal Eternal Destiny but what's more beautiful is that Jesus assures us that he has a place for each of us in heaven and that we will be with him forever this verse could also mean Realms of Dimensions because the word mansions in the Greek means places or rooms meaning that God has
many Realms of existence for us to dwell in In Heaven There are Realms within Realms God can give you your own Dimensions where you are left to create it to be whatever you like Ephesians 2:6 says God has raised us up together and made us sit together in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus notice it mentions that there are Heavenly places not just one Heavenly Place Revelation 21: 1-4 says then I saw a new Heaven in New Earth for the first Heaven and the first Earth had passed away and there was no longer any sea I
saw the holy city the New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven from God prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying look God's dwelling place is now among the people and He will dwell with them they will be his people and God himself will be with them and be their God he will wipe every tear from their eyes there will be no more death om or Mourning or crying or pain for the old Order of Things has passed away this verse describes the new Heaven
and new earth where God will dwell with his people and there will be no more death or pain it also offers a powerful vision of Hope and renewal it begins with the promise of a new Heaven and a new Earth signifying a complete transformation where the old broken world has passed away the absence of the sea symbolizes the end of chaos and separation the New Jerusalem depicted as a bride beautifully adorned represents a pure and holy Community prepared to dwell with God this imagery describes the intimate and loving relationship between God and his people the
proclamation that God's dwelling place is now among his people assures us of his Perpetual presence providing Comfort guidance and an end to all suffering the promise that God will wipe away every tear eliminating death mourning crying and pain is profoundly comforting it invites us to trust in God's ultimate plan for restoration and eternal peace encouraging us to remain faithful and hopeful in the face of life's challenges 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 says for the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a loud command with the voice of the Archangel and with the trumpet call of God
and the dead in Christ will rise first after that we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will be with the Lord forever this passage provides a description of the second coming of Christ in the resurrection of Believers in verse 16 Paul reassures the Thessalonians that the Lord himself will descend from heaven accompanied by a commanding shout the voice of the Archangel and the trumpet call of God this dramatic imagery underscores the majesty and authority of
Christ's return the resurrection of the Dead in Christ first emphasizes that those who have died in faith will be raised to life in verse 17 Paul describes how those who are alive at Christ's return will join the resurrected Believers being caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord the promise that we will be with the Lord forever offers profound Comfort ensuring Eternal fellowship with Christ Philippians 3:20-21 says but our citizenship is in heaven and we eagerly await a savior from there the Lord Jesus Christ who by the power that enables him
