When You Put God Above Everything Else, Your Life Will Change (Morning Devotional And Prayer)

there is nothing more secure than a life built on the foundation of God's unshakable truth everything in this world is subject to change wealth comes and goes people fail and even the strongest structures eventually crumble but God Remains the Same his power unwavering his love unfailing and his word Eternal when when everything else Fades he alone stands above all those who anchor their hearts in him will never be moved imagine a mountain that has withstood centuries of storms Wars and disasters yet Remains unmoved the seasons change the winds rage and the land around it shifts

but the mountain remains firm because it is rooted in something greater than itself so it is with the one who puts God above all else no matter the trials no matter the uncertainties no matter the pressures of this world they stand unshaken because their confidence is in the Lord the word of God declares in Isaiah 40 verse 8 the grass withers the flower Fades but the word of our God stands forever everything we see today will pass away but what God has spoken will never fail if we live by the temporary we will be constantly

shaken but if we hold on to what is eternal we will stand strong through every season of Life today I want to take you on a journey of deep Revelation to explore what it truly means to put God above all else I am also going to pray a powerful prayer with you in the mighty name of Jesus so watch until the end and open your hearts to receive the blessings of this prayer let us now turn our attention to what it means to truly Place God above all else my friends a heart that is fully

devoted to God is a life that cannot be shaken when God takes the highest place in a person's heart their priorities shift their perspective changes and they live with a sense of Divine Purpose no longer are they consumed by the temporary distractions of this world but they are driven by an unshakable trust in the Lord they no longer seek validation from people or chase after fleeting Pleasures because their satisfaction is found in God alone one of the greatest dangers in life is a divided heart when God is not truly first everything else begins to take

his place it could be the pursuit of success the approval of others the cares of this world or even the subtle pull of sinful desires that tempt the heart away from God slowly without realizing it God is placed second third or even last in our priorities but when we surrender our whole heart to him we are transformed from within in 2 Chronicles 16:9 it says for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to him God is searching for

those who are fully committed to him those who are not swayed by the opinions of the world or their own selfish desires but remain steadfast in their devotion when he finds such a heart he strengthens upholds and blesses that person beyond measure consider the story of King ASA a man who started his Reign by relying on God but later turned to human alliances for help when he depended on God victory was his but when he placed his trust elsewhere trouble followed this is the danger of placing anything above God it weakens our foundation and makes

us vulnerable to defeat no matter how strong we think we are if God is not our anchor we will not stand a heart that is devoted to God refuses to compromise it does not bow to fear nor is it enticed by the pleasures of sin it is a heart that longs for his presence and desires to honor him in every decision when we love the Lord above all else our actions will reflect it we will choose obedience over convenience Faith over fear and righteousness over compromise Jesus made it clear in Luke 10: 27 you shall

love the Lord Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul with all your strength and with all your mind and your neighbor as yourself this is not a suggestion it is a command that calls for complete devotion it is not enough to love God with part of our heart while keeping other areas reserved for personal Ambitions or desires he wants all of us when we give him our all we experience a level of peace and fulfillment that cannot be found anywhere else people search for happiness in accomplishments relationships and material wealth but

true Joy is only found in God the world may offer temporary satisfaction but only in his presence is their fullness of joy when we make him our greatest treasure we live with a confidence that nothing can take away the life of one who places God above all else is marked by trust and surrender it is not a life free from challenges but it is a life where God fights the battles it is a life where burdens are lifted where the impossible becomes possible and where faith is rewarded those who trust in the Lord will never

be put to shame and even if others have wronged you betrayed you caused you to feel ashamed or made you feel unworthy their actions do not define you God does he is the one who lifts the Brokenhearted restores dignity and turns every painful experience into a testimony of his faithfulness what others meant for harm God can use for his glory proving that those who put their trust in him will never be abandoned or defeated think of a person walking across a bridge suspended over a deep valley if they try to lean on their own understanding

fear will overwhelm them and they may hesitate or turn back but if they fix their eyes ahead trusting in the strength of the bridge they will move forward with confidence so it is with faith when we trust in God above all else we walk in confidence knowing that he will uphold us Psalm 37: 5 declares commit your way to the Lord trust also in him and he shall bring it to pass there is power in committing everything to God when he is first in our lives he aligns our steps removes obstacles and brings his plans

to completion it is not our effort that brings success but our surrender to his will if we are to live victoriously we must examine our hearts are we truly placing God above all else or are there things competing for his place have we allowed distractions fears or Ambitions to pull us away from Full devotion today God is calling us to return to him with undivided Hearts he is waiting to strengthen bless and uphold those who will put their trust fully in him let us now focus on the danger of placing anything above God my friends

when God is not first in our lives something else takes his place whether we recognize it or not the heart was created to worship God and if it is not fully devoted to him it will bow to something else be it power possessions relationships or personal desires many do not realize the weight of this until their lives begin to crumble under the pressure of misplaced priorities anything that is placed above God will eventually become a burden instead of a blessing and you need to understand that idolatry is not always the worship of carved images it

is anything that takes precedence over God in our hearts it is when the pursuit of money influence relationships or personal desires takes priority or becomes more important than obedience to him some turn to relationships for fulfillment seeking Security in people instead of in God others prioritize success at the expense of their faith convincing themselves that they will return to God once they have achieved their goals but a life where God is not first is a life that will always be lacking no matter how much it gains Proverbs 11:28 warns he that trusteth in his riches

shall fall but the righteous shall flourish as a branch my friends there is nothing wrong with having wealth but when trust is placed in possessions instead of God it leads to destruction and let me say this quickly some of you have misunderstood the deeper meaning of the story of the Rich Young Ruler in Matthew 19 verse 21 based on this same story for years many of us have been taught and have believed that children of God should not be rich but that belief comes from a misunderstanding of what Jesus was addressing his command to the

ruler was not a universal principle against wealth but a call to surrender what was holding him back from fully following God it was about him not putting God above all else allowing his riches to take the highest place in his heart and you know what the enemy has used this passage to deceive many into thinking that prosperity and righteousness cannot coexist but that is not the truth of God's word think about it if God did not want his people to prosper why are there so many promises of abundance in the Bible why did he bless

Solomon with riches beyond measure or Abraham job Joseph and many others the Bible is very contextual at times and we must be mindful of the full Council of scripture rather than allowing one passage to be misused to limit what God desires for his children Psalm 62:10 reminds us do not trust in oppression nor vainly hope in robbery if Rich increase do not set your heart on them God does not oppose wealth but he warns against making it our foundation for only he is worthy to be placed Above All Else also 1 Timothy 6:17 commands us

charge them that are rich in this world that they be not high-minded nor trust in uncertain riches but in the Living God who giveth us richly all things to enjoy my friends money can be lost opportunities can fade and circumstances can change but those who are rooted in God will never fall he alone is the source of lasting provision and security there was a man in the Bible who built his life around his success believe in that his wealth would secure his future Jesus spoke of him in Luke 12: 16- 21 describing a rich man

who stored up great wealth for himself thinking he had secured many years of comfort he worked tirelessly expanding his barns accumulating riches but he neglected his relationship with God then in a moment everything Chang changed his life was demanded of him and all he had stored up became meaningless he had placed his trust in something that could not sustain him and in the end he was called a fool for prioritizing wealth over God this story reminds us that only when we place our trust fully in the Lord do we find true stability and peace this

is the danger of placing anything above God God it creates an illusion of security that can be taken away in an instant it blinds people to their need for him until Trouble Comes and then they realize that what they trusted in cannot save them but those who make the Lord their Refuge will never be left without hope anything that replaces God in our lives will eventually disappoint us he alone is the source of true fulfillment and peace some people chase after recognition Desiring the approval of others more than the approval of God they shape their

decisions around what is popular rather than what is righteous they compromise their faith to fit in fearing rejection more than they fear Disobedience but no human approval is worth losing the favor of God John 12: 43 speaks of those who love the praise of men more than the praise of God this is a dangerous trap because human praise is temporary and unreliable one moment people may celebrate you and the next they may turn away but the favor of God is eternal and those who seek his approval above all else will never be abandoned when God

is not first sin gains an entrance into the heart desires that seem harmless at first can grow into strongholds that pull a person away from him it may begin with small compromises excusing behavior that does not align with his word but sin always demands more than it promises and before long it entangles those who allow it to remain a heart that is truly surrendered to God does not entertain what offends him but seeks to walk in holiness Romans 6: 16 warns know you not that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey his servants ye

are are to whom ye obey whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness whatever we yield to will rule over us if we give ourselves to sin it will control Our Lives but if we submit to God we will walk in Freedom and righteousness this is why nothing can be placed above him not desires not Ambitions not even relationships the one who places anything above God will eventually experience The Emptiness of life without him but the one who exalts God above all else will be filled with his presence Guided by his wisdom wisdom

and strengthened by his power there is no greater security than walking in complete obedience to him my friends it is time to examine our heart and ask ourselves what truly holds the highest place in our lives what has taken God's place is there anything that has been prioritized over him is there any area of life where compromise has crept in God is calling his people to return to him to place him above everything else and to trust that he alone is enough and let us now reflect on the undeniable blessings of putting God above all

else my friends when God is truly first in our lives everything else falls into its rightful place this does not mean that life will be without challenges but it does mean that we will experience the fullness of his provision guidance and protection the one who makes God their highest priority will walk in favor that no earthly effort could ever produce they will see doors open that no man can shut experience peace that surpasses all understanding and live in the confidence that their life is in the hands of the almighty many seek blessings but few realize

that the greatest blessing is God himself when we pursue him Above All Else he not only provides for our needs but he aligns our desires with his perfect will what one seemed impossible becomes possible not because of our efforts but because we are walking in Divine Alignment when our hearts are fully surrendered to him we no longer chase after temporary things we live in the Overflow of his goodness Psalm 84:1 says for the Lord God is a son and shield the Lord will give Grace and Glory no good thing will he withhold from those who

walk uprightly God does not withhold good things from his people he is a loving father who Delights in blessing his children but these blessings come to those who walk uprightly those who seek Him First and choose obedience over compromise the favor of God is Not earned but it is unlocked through a life that is devoted to him there was a man named oziah in the Bible who understood this truth as long as he sought the Lord he prospered in everything he did his victories were not a result of his own strength but because God was

with him the Bible tells us in 2 Chronicles 26:5 he sought God in the days of Zechariah who had understanding in the visions of God and as long as he sought the Lord God made him Prosper this is a principle that remains true today when we seek God above all else he establishes Us in ways we could never achieve on our own but the opposite is also true when people Elevate themselves above God they invite destruction into their own lives when Isaiah became strong he grew proud and thought he no longer needed to follow God's

ways his downfall came not because of external enemies but because he allowed Pride to take the place of devotion this serves as a powerful reminder that blessings are sustained through humility and obedience not by our own wisdom or efforts Jesus reaffirmed this principle in Matthew 6:33 but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you the world teaches people to chase after success security and recognition but God says to seek Him First and everything else will follow when we put him above our Ambitions our relationships and

even our own understanding we experience his Supernatural provision in ways we never could have imagined His blessings are not limited to material things he gives wisdom peace protection and divine opportun unities that no amount of effort could produce there are many who have spent years struggling trying to make things happen in their own strength only to be left exhausted and frustrated but the one who surrenders fully to God finds that what once seemed Out Of Reach becomes possible through his Divine favor My Life along with many others is a living testimony of this truth praise

God those who trust in him will never lack any good thing because he is our provider when God is above all else in our lives we do not live in fear of loss because we know that he is the source of everything we need psalm 37:4 says delight yourself also in the Lord and He Shall give you the design s of your heart this verse does not mean that God simply grants every wish but that when we Delight in him he transforms our desires to align with his will we begin to long for the things

that bring him glory and in return He fulfills those Desires in ways greater than we could have imagined when he is first our hearts are no longer divided we walk in step with his perfect plan there is no greater security than living under the covering of God's presence money can be lost possessions can fade and people can change but when our foundation is God we Remain unshaken the one who places God above all else does not live in anxiety about the future because they know that he holds their tomorrow they are not ruled by circum

ances because they trust in the one who has power over all things when we set our hearts fully on God peace becomes our portion no matter what comes our way we do not live in fear because our trust is in the one who never fails this is the life of those who put God first a life of Peace provision and divine protection my friends let us examine our hearts and consider where we truly stand are we living fully surrendered placing God above all else have we allowed worry ambition or the pursuit of temporary things to

take priority over seeking him God is calling his people to realign their hearts and walk in the fullness of his blessings he is waiting to pour out his goodness but it requires a heart that is fully devoted to him my friends the greatest security the deepest fulfillment and the highest calling are found in one place putting God above all else in our lives now to all those within the sound of my voice let us go to the Lord in prayer I want you to pray this prayer with me or listen to this prayer in faith

so that you can have all the blessings of this prayer let us pray to our gracious and loving God Heavenly Father Mighty and Sovereign God you Reign above all clothed in majesty and Splendor ruling with power that has no end you are the alpha and the Omega the one who was who is and who is to come unchanging Unstoppable and forever faithful I thank you Lord that your word is a firm foundation an anchor that holds me Steady in every season I thank you for your endless mercy and abundant grace for blessing me far beyond

what I deserve and calling me into your Marvelous Light forgive me Lord for my trespasses and for every moment I have placed anything or anyone above you cleanse my heart from divided affections from selfish desires from every distraction that has pulled me away from Full Devotion to you as you have forgiven me I also forgive those who have wronged me releasing every offense and bitterness into your hand Lord you alone are my source my strength and my refuge I decree and declare today that I will seek first your kingdom and that no possession no success

no relationship and no earthly treasure will ever take your place in my heart I reject every lie of the enemy that has deceived me into believing that my security comes from anything other than you I refuse to be bound by the pursuit of wealth without you or by the pressures of this world Lord thank you for reminding me to walk in obedience humility and steadfast faith in you I ask that you pour out your blessings upon my life and let your favor rest upon me as I choose to put you Above All Else Heal Me

from every sickness and disease and from every wound caused by misplaced trust father restore every area where I have suffered loss and establish me on the path of righteousness in the name of Jesus I rebuke every attack of the enemy seeking to pull me away from you I cancel every assignment of the enemy over my mind my heart my family my future and all that concerns me in the mighty name of Jesus I ask for divine protection over my life and my loved ones Shield us from harm cover us under the shadow of your wings

and guard us against every trap of the enemy Lord as I say this prayer together with everyone listening I am grateful for every heart that is opening before you right now we come into agreement as we lift each other up asking that you set us free from everything that has tried to take your place in our lives we surrender every Idol every false security and every weight that has held us back from fully trusting you Sovereign Lord let your Holy Spirit fill us aresh strengthen us to walk in obedience and Empower us to seek you

first and lead us in Paths of righteousness for your name's sake in the name of Jesus we declare victory over every stronghold breakthrough over every limitation and healing over every broken place let our lives be a testimony that you alone are worthy that you alone satisfy and that those who trust in you will never be put to shame for yours is the kingdom the power and the glory forever and ever thank you Lord for hearing and answering my prayer in the mighty name of Jesus I pray amen if you were blessed by this message type
