Have you ever felt during sex that the vagina wasn't hugging the penis enough? It looked like it was a little wider? Is there any way to make this vagina a little tighter?
I am Lilian Fiorelli, I am a gynecologist specialist in female sexuality and today we are going to talk about if there is any way to make this vagina a little tighter. Have you ever had this feeling of a wide vagina? Write down here for me.
And already give a like and subscribe to the channel because there is always a lot of news and you don't want to be left out, right? For us to understand why the vagina can get wider, it is interesting for us to understand what the anatomy of this vagina is like. And by doing an analogy with the penis, we know and you can see, there are bigger penises, smaller penises, there are thicker and thinner penises, and this also happens with the vagina.
The vagina also has a wide variety of sizes and also of width. And we can, with our muscles, end up adapting a little bit of our vaginal opening. And we can also, many times, even adapt the length, which for that needs an excitation.
Let's understand better in the model. When we talk about vaginal opening, I'm talking about this opening here, in this region, we can, some women can open more, others less. It is constitutional, the woman is born in a way that she can really open more or less.
And length, same thing, she is born with a vagina length that does not change and that we get a modification during excitation. During excitation, this vagina length usually increases more or less five cm and can carry different size penis. Here in this vaginal opening, as much as you can not get a large vaginal opening out of excitement, During the excitation, you do get a little more, let's say, softening of this skin, this skin gets a little more malleable and you get a better opening.
So, of course, the first tip, even if you have, on the contrary, a very tight vagina, the simple fact of you being excited during the sexual act and relaxing this musculature is enough for you to have a slightly more satisfactory opening. But what about the opposite? I'm excited, I want to have a sexual relationship, but I feel like my vagina is too wide.
In this case, it is interesting that you evaluate it directly with the doctor to know if this is a characteristic of yours, if there is any injury or if there is muscle weakness. And depending on the cause of your vaginal flaccidity, the treatments are different too. As a woman who has never had a natural birth, who has never had any trauma in the vagina, she usually doesn't have so much vaginal flaccidity.
But if there is this feeling of a wider vagina, it is usually a lack of muscle contraction. It is sometimes a lack of awareness of this musculature that involves the vagina and that closes the vagina. I'm going to prepare an exercise for you to at least know if you can contract this musculature.
Take a well-lubricated finger, you can put a water-based lubricant, and put your finger inside the vagina, about two or three centimeters, you don't need to insert so much. And then you will do a force as if you were holding the pee and holding the poop. See if you can feel your vagina embrace your finger.
If you can feel this musculature, you already have at least a very important first step, which is that you are aware of this musculature and you know how to contract it. Now, if you did this test and didn't feel anything, red signal! Consult a gynecologist, consult a physiotherapist, and start working on this pelvic floor.
Exactly because they are muscles that sustain our organs, and sustain the bladder, the uterus, the intestine, they participate not only in the sexual part, They also participate in the support of these organs and also as a prevention of urinary incontinence, genital prolapses and even fecal incontinence. So we already have our first tip. The first tip is: muscle.
Let's strengthen this muscles. How do we do that? So if you are not yet aware of this musculature, if you did this test that I just talked about and did not feel the contraction, your first conduct will be to go for a consult with a gynecologist and a physiotherapist to have the ideal treatment with the help of a professional.
Now, if you managed to contract, there are already some mechanisms that you can work on. Try to put in your routine some exercises that are fast and that you can do every day. You can start the exercises with the famous contract and release.
Contract this perineal region, hold for one second, relax and keep relaxed for two seconds. Do this repetition fifteen times. If you can, increase to fifteen times in the morning fifteen times a night.
Like all physical exercise, what matters is frequency. The more you do over the days, the more effective it is than doing it with more intensity. So doing it every day is worth more than doing it with weight or more times on that day.
And like any physical exercise, there is a progression. So I told you about the contract and release for a second. Over time, you will already be able to hold this musculature for longer.
Hold for two seconds and relax. Then hold for three and relax. Then hold it for four.
If you can, you can get up to ten seconds holding the musculature. But then an alert, hold this musculature, keep it contracted with the same tone. If you, for example, started there one, two, three, four, did you feel that at five your musculature started to give up?
Stop there, because most likely your musculature can handle four seconds. Don't move forward from there, respect your body and move forward gradually. And then you will ask me, "but doctor, I've heard about pompoarism, does it work?
" And then, like all physical exercise, I tell you that pompoarism would be the advanced level of pelvic floor exercises. Over time, you can put loads, so there are several loads on the market So, just like in weight training, you go there with one kg, two kg, ten kg, twenty kg in the genital region, There are also weights, they are not kilos, they are grams, of course, a much weaker muscle, but you can achieve this progression with an increase in load too. And pompoarism, in fact, I say that it is an advanced level, because you need not only strength, awareness, permanence, contraction, but also know how to differentiate which are the most internal and external musculatures.
The pompoarism exercise is usually done with some balls called Ben Wa balls. It's these little balls here. You see, it has a little weight in here that keeps bouncing, even to give you feedback that you are hitting the right musculature.
It kind of shakes when you move, And then you feel in your muscles that, ok, this is where I have to contract. So this feedback is really cool. Of course, you can also work with different weights in these balls and also work on strength.
But the main thing is that you have a suction force with the vagina and you can already make the movements with the vagina, put the balls in and throw the balls out. As a urogynecologist, I have to tell you something. I like pompoarism a lot.
Half of it. I really like it when you do the suction exercise. Because in addition to working on pelvic floor exercise, you are working on strengthening, you are working on suction.
This improves urinary incontinence, improves fecal incontinence, improves prolapse and improves sexual pleasure. So great! It has many benefits.
But the reverse part, which is the expulsion, it needs to be very careful, because you can damage, if you don't use the musculature in the right way, you can also damage these organs of the pelvic floor, because you end up pushing a lot of organs at a time when, in fact, the ideal is that you do more suction. If you are going to do pompoarism, do the suction movements. I wouldn't give much importance to the expulsion movements.
And then you can tell me, but doctor, doing all this exercise until I can get muscular down there, to get a contraction and get a closure. This will take time. Isn't there a more practical, easier way for me to get tighter?
There is. And the tip I give here is a millennial tip that was studied many years ago by Kama Sutra. They are the sexual positions.
In this millennial culture, they knew that in fact exists a difference in sizes, both penis and vagina. And for you to have a sexual satisfaction, regardless of the sizes, there are some techniques that we can also use here, so that you leave this vagina a little more closed. And there are some sexual positions that I will show with my models.
For those who don't know, these are my darlings, Ione and Lotus. They are asexual and they play the role of man or woman. Ione will play the role of the woman and Lotus will play the role of the man.
This is the famous cuddling position. In this position, what do we notice? The woman has her legs closed and folded, and the man penetrates from behind.
In this position, we can leave the vagina a little more closed by closing the legs, that's why it's a pretty cool position, although to get a deep penetration in this position, it's not that easy. In this position, with the woman down, we also have a variant that is with the legs up, notice that in this position the woman can also keep her legs closed and thus have a better closure of the perineal region. You need a little stretching, of course, because you will need to keep your legs closed and have this penetration of the man in this region.
With the variants of the man below, We need to try to have a little bit of creativity so that the woman also has her legs closed, since we guarantee this vagina closure with the legs more closed. We have some alternatives, there is a side alternative, and in this side alternative, although the vagina is a little more closed, it is a little more difficult, sincerely, for the woman to feel pleasure. Unless she does a clitoral stimulus here with her hands.
We also have this variant with the legs closed from the back for men. And also, if you are going to do it with your legs up, it would be necessary a discreet opening so that you can fit. And finally, the doggy style, which I wanted you to notice, look Leg closure, okay?
Doggy style with closed legs, exactly to make this vagina a little more closed. And then you can do the doggy style this way or even lean a little more, because the more inclination you have in this region, the deeper the penetration. So we already gave the tip of muscle strengthening, which I think, regardless of whatever the cause, it is fundamental.
We gave the tips of positions and also, regardless of whatever the cause, you can use these positions to make it easier for this vagina to get tighter. But we have the third option, which would be a surgical option. When do we really go for a slightly more invasive option?
Unfortunately, some women go through some traumas in the vaginal region, especially during childbirth. And unfortunately, even if you have or do not have episiotomy, which is that little cut that is sometimes necessary to facilitate childbirth without major injuries, We know that doing or not doing episiotomy, if you have any injury, whether it is a laceration of the muscular part, which we call second degree injury or more than second degree, you have the chance, unfortunately, to have some consequence. The ideal is that during the birth the muscle correction itself is done, if there is a muscle injury.
But we know that many times, even making the correction during the birth, it is not always possible to make such a complete correction. Exactly because the birth is sometimes a slightly more intense moment, sometimes without diagnoses of all the minor injuries that occurred in the region. And then, as much as you strengthen your muscles, use and abuse positions with leg closures, you can still continue with the feeling of a wide vagina.
And that's when the reconstruction of what we call the perineal body comes in. The perineal body injury is one of the most frequent in the vaginal birth, whether it is forceps, whether it is normal without the use of forceps, whether with episiotomy or not. Why?
The perineal body is a junction of three muscles, a muscle called the vestibular bulb, which is behind these large sides, another musculature called transverse perineal muscle and another musculature that is the one that involves the anus, the external sphincter of the anus. These three musculatures join together in this region called the perineal body and it is a region let's say, a support point of all the other structures that are inside the pelvis. So the fascias, the other muscles.
And with that, from the moment you have an injury in this region, it's like the pelvis loses its support point. It is very frequent that the episiotomy is done here in the lateral region, where you already have the injury of at least two muscles here, which would be the vestibular bulb and eventually the transverse perineal muscle, but sometimes there are some lacerations that also cause injury in this region. And then there is no way, the reconstruction is surgical.
Although we think that a surgical reconstruction is much more invasive, I would say to you that it is very important to have this early diagnosis, since, as we saw, this region, this perineal body, it is a center, it is a support point for the perineal region. And if you don't do this type of correction, it is very frequent that the woman ends up developing urinary incontinence, genital prolapses and also sexual dissatisfaction due to not being able to embrace this penis better. Therefore, fundamental assessment with the gynecologist.
When I told you at the beginning, you feel that the musculature has not strengthened properly, go to the gynecologist and go to the physiotherapist. I put these two professionals, Exactly because the treatment ends up being multidisciplinary. The gynecologist will do the precise diagnosis to know what you need to do.
The physiotherapist will help you in this muscle strengthening. And of course, with all these guidelines here in the video, I'm sure sex will be much more enjoyable. And you, did you like the guidelines?
Do you think you can now at least improve a little bit of sensitivity, better contracting this musculature during sex? Have you ever done the famous contract and release exercise? Write down here if you've ever done this exercise and if you've ever done this exercise in sex.
You two are going crazy. And if you haven't subscribed to my channel yet, subscribe here. There's always a lot of news for you.
And of course, what's good, we share it, right? So share it with your friends, they'll be crazy to know how to make the vagina a little tighter. And don't forget to follow me on social media, there's always a lot of news.
