how awesome your friend is this verse talks about always saying good things about God there's a story about a man named Daniel who prayed to God three times a day every day even when it was against the law because Daniel kept praising God no matter what God protected him from Lions when he was thrown into their den this teaches us that talking to God and praising him all the time is really important and can help us through scary or hard times moving on Psalm 34:2 my soul shall make her boast in the Lord The Humble

shall hear thereof and be glad this is like when you're really proud of something amazing your family did and you want to tell everyone but in a way that makes them happy too it's about being proud of God and what he does so much that it makes you and others around you happy remember the story of David and Goliath David wasn't boasting about his own strength he was confident because he knew God was with him when David defeated Goliath it wasn't just a win for him but for all of Israel they were glad because they

knew God had helped them this story helps us understand how we can make others Happy by sharing how great God is continuing on Psalm 34:3 oh magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together imagine you and your friends getting together to cheer for your favorite superhero because they did something awesome this verse is inviting us to get together and cheer for God talking about how wonderful he is there's [Music] and a new start it shows us that when we look to God he can take away our shame and make us feel

brand new continuing forward Psalm 34:6 this poor man cried and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles imagine you lost your favorite toy and you're really upset so you ask your parents for help and they find it for you this verse tells us that when we're in trouble and we ask God for help he listens and helps us out just like your parents did there's a story about a man named Jonah who ended up in the belly of a big fish because he was running away from what God asked him

to do but when he prayed to God for help God saved him from his trouble this story teaches us that no matter what problems we have if we ask God for help he will hear us and save us moving on Psalm 34:7 the angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him and delivereth them think of this like having an invisible superhero guard that protects you because you respect and listen to your parents this verse means that God sends his angels to protect those who respect and love him there's a story about Elisha

the prophet when an enemy Army surrounded the city he was in his servant was scared but Elisha wasn't because he knew God's angel Army was protecting them when the servant's eyes were opened he saw Hills full of horses and Chariots of Fire from God this story shows us that God really does protect us even when we can't see it and so on Psalm 34:8 oh taste and see that the Lord is good blessed is the man that trusteth in him have you ever been unsure about trying a new food and then you try it and

it's really yummy this verse is inviting us to try and see how good God is promising us that we'll be happy if we trust in him a good story that matches this is when the Israelites were in the desert and God provided Mana for them to eat they had to trust God for their food every day and when they did they saw that God was good and took care of them it teaches us that trusting God and seeing how he helps us shows us his goodness Psalm 34:9 oh fear the lord ye his Saints for

there is no want to them that fear Him imagine if your parents promised that as long as you listen to them and follow their rules you'd always have everything you need like your favorite snacks or toys this verse is telling us that if we respect God and live the way he wants he will make sure we have what we need a great story that goes with this verse is about God providing food for Elijah during a drought even when there was no food or water around God made sure Elijah was fed by Ravens this teaches

us that God really does take care of those who respect and follow him continuing our journey Psalm 34:10 the Young Lions do lack and suffer hunger but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing even strong Young Lions sometimes can't find food and get hungry but this verse promises that people who look for God and want to be close to him will have everything good they need it's like saying even if someone is really strong and powerful they can still have problems but with God we can have everything we truly need remember

when God provided Mana from heaven for the Israelites in the desert even in a place where there was no food God made sure they had what they needed every day this story shows us that seeking God in Shores were taking care of just like he took care of the Israelites on we go Psalm 34:1 Come Ye children hearken unto me I will teach you the fear of the Lord this is like when a teacher gathers all the students around for story time to teach them something important the verse is an invitation for us to learn

about how great an awesome God is and why respecting him is the best way to live a good example from the Bible is when Solomon the wisest King teaches us in Proverbs about the importance of fearing the Lord he says it's the beginning of wisdom it's like saying understanding how great God is is the first step to being really smart moving forward Psalm 34:12 what man is he that desireth life and loveth many days that he may see good this verse asks us a question who wants to live a long happy life seeing good things

happen it's like saying if you really want to enjoy life and have lots of Happy Days listen to what comes next the story of Noah is a perfect illustration Noah listened to God and built an ark even when others didn't believe him because he followed God he and his family had life when the flood came this shows us that following God's way can lead to a good and long life then Psalm 34:13 keep thy tongue from evil and thy lips from speaking guile think of this as being careful with your words like not telling lies

or saying mean things it's like when you're teacher tells you if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all a story that fits here is when Joseph spoke kindly to his brothers even after they had sold him into slavery instead of saying mean things back he forgave them this teaches us the power of keeping our words kind continuing Psalm 34:14 depart from Evil and do good seek peace and pursue it this is like being told to walk away from a fight and to instead make friends and keep the peace it's about

choosing to do the right thing even when when it's hard the story of David sparing King Saul's life is a great example even though Saul was trying to kill David David chose not to hurt Saul when he had the chance he walked away from doing evil and chose peace instead this shows us it's important to always choose what's right onward we go Psalm 34:15 the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and his ears are open unto their cry imagine that God has a special camera and microphone just for watching over and listening to

people who try to do what's right this verse says that God pays close attention to those people and hears them when they ask for help the story of Hagar in the desert shows us this when she and her son were alone and scared God heard her cry and showed her a well of water to help her it's a reminder that God is always watching and listening to us especially when we need him moving forward Psalm 34:16 the face of the Lord is against them that do evil to cut off the remembrance of them from the

earth this is like when someone is cheating or being unfair and the teacher makes sure that behavior doesn't win it's saying that God doesn't support people who do bad things and he makes sure their actions don't last the story of the Tower of Babel is a great match for this verse the people were trying to build a tower to make make themselves famous and challenge God but God confused their languages and Scattered them this shows that God does not support actions that go against his ways continuing Psalm 34:17 the righteous cry and the Lord Heth

and delivereth them out of all their troubles this is like when you're really upset and you call out for your parents and they come right away to help you this verse tells us that when good people call out to God for help he listens and helps them out of tough situations the story of Daniel and the Lion's Den is perfect here even though Daniel was thrown into the den for praying to God he prayed and God heard him and kept the lions from hurting him this teaches us that God listens and helps us just like

he did for Daniel moving on Psalm 34:18 the Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart and saveth such as be of a contr Spirit think of this as God being really close to someone who is very sad like a friend who sits with you when you're upset it says God is especially close to those who are sorry for their mistakes and feel sad about them the story of King David after he made a big mistake and felt really sorry shows us this he wrote Psalms asking for God's forgiveness and God forgave

him because he was truly sorry it shows that God is close to us when we're truly sorry and want to make things right lastly Psalm 34: 19 many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivereth him out of them all this is like saying even though good people have a lot of problems God helps them get through every single one it's reassuring us that no matter what happens God is there to help us through the story of job is a strong example he faced a lot of bad things but he kept trusting in

God In The End God helped him through all his troubles and blessed him even more than before this tells us that no matter how many problems we Face God can help us through them all continuing Psalm 34:20 he keepeth all his bones not one of them is broken this verse is like saying God takes care of us so well even down to making sure we don't break a bone it's a way of showing How Deeply God cares for us and keeps us safe when Jesus was crucified this verse was fulfilled literally as none of his

bones were broken even though it was common practice to break the legs of those crucified to speed up their death this shows God's care and the Fulfillment of his promises even in the details moving forward Psalm 34: 21 evil shall slay the wicked and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate this is like saying people who do bad things will find themselves in trouble because of their own actions and those who don't like good people will end up lonely and sad it tells us that doing bad things doesn't end well a story that shows

this is when hmon plotted against morai in the Book of Esther hamman's plan to harm morai backfired and he ended up being punished instead this teaches us that evil plans against good people don't succeed finally Psalm 34:22 the Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate this is like saying God Saves his friends from Bad situations and if you trust in him you won't be left all alone or sad it's a promise that trusting in God means he will take care of us the entire story

are scared or worried and Jehovah Elohim you are in charge of everything everywhere in the way Psalm 34 teaches us we ask you to break and get rid of all the bad ties in our lives whether it's trouble in our families not having enough money feeling unwell or feeling sad deep inside please take these troubles away make us feel light and free like when we play and laugh without worries we also pray for your Mighty angels to come and protect our homes imagine them with Big Shiny swords keeping all the bad things out like fights

being really upset with each other any bad words said about us tough times and wanting to do things we shouldn't keep our home safe and filled with love so when we walk in we feel like we're getting a big warm hug lastly we ask you God to cover our house with your love and protection like putting a giant invisible shield around us so we always feel safe and happy inside Let Your Love be like a cozy blanket keeping us warm and snug so no matter what we always know you're with us keeping us and our

home safe from anything bad dear God I ask for your help to keep this person safe from any dangers and bad people's traps please protect their home and family and keep them away from harm like getting lost being hurt or having accidents when they go out let your angels be with them from the time they leave until they get back in the name of Lord Jesus Christ I say that this person will be okay not get hurt I say that God's wonderful blessings will be on their life now please lift your right hand or if
