let me ask you something have you ever felt like you were standing in the middle of a crowded room yet you were the only one who could see the only one who could hear the only one who could feel the weight of something invisible but undeniable if you've ever asked yourself why why me why do I see what others don't why do I feel what others ignore you're in the right place because today we're diving deep into the gift of discernment a gift straight from God himself welcome beloved souls to this space of Truth wisdom
and healing if you're new here know this is more than a video it's a moment for awakening a conversation with the spirit and a place to find Clarity today we're not just defining discernment we're we're exploring its weight its purpose and the profound responsibility it carries so open your heart because what you're about to hear might be the confirmation you've been praying for discernment is more than a skill it's a Divine gift dictionary definitions might call it the ability to recognize small details tell the difference between similar things and make intelligent judgments but let's go
deeper true discernment is spiritual Insight it's the Holy Spirit Whispering truths that others are too distracted to hear it's God sharpening your vision to see what's hidden beneath the surface but let's be real it's not always easy having dis mment can feel isolating you might think why can't I just be like everyone else why do I have to see the cracks in their masks why does God show me the dangers nobody else notices let me tell you there's nothing wrong with you there's everything right with you God chose you for this remember when Jesus said
he who has ears to hear Let Him hear Mark 4:9 not everyone has those ears not everyone is meant to see but you you're called You're set apart and with that calling comes a responsibility sometimes discernment feels like a heavy weight you walk into a room and before anyone speaks you already know who's genuine and who's not you feel the tension of unspoken words you sense the pain hidden behind forced Smiles it's as if the truth pulls at you demanding your attention for example imagine you're at work and a new person joins the team everyone
loves them calls them Charming fun a great addition but something doesn't sit right with you their words are sweet but their energy feels sharp Days Later their true colors come out they betray a coworker spread gossip or manipulate their way to the top and you're sitting there thinking I knew it that's discernment but here's the thing discernment isn't about proving you're right it's about knowing what God is trying to tell you maybe he's warning you to guard your heart maybe he's urging you to intercede for someone or maybe he's preparing you to speak a truth
that will set someone free let's talk about how discernment affects your relationships when you have this gift you don't just hear people's words you hear the spirit behind them you can tell when someone's smile hides Envy you can feel the weight of someone's unspoken pain and sometimes you pick up on things you which you didn't it's not that you're searching for faults it's that the truth finds you this reminds me of the story in Luke 736 to 50 where Jesus dined at the house of a Pharisee a sinful woman came weeping anointing his feet with
perfume the Pharisee thought to himself if this man were a prophet he would know who is touching him but Jesus discerned more than the Pharisees judgement he saw the woman's heart he spoke forgiveness over her saying your faith has saved you go in peace that's discernment in action seeing Beyond appearances to the truth only God reveals let me tell you another truth discernment can be lonely you might hesitate to share what you see because you're afraid people won't believe you maybe they'll think you're overthinking or even judge you for judging them but let's clear something
up discernment is not judgment judgment condemns discernment reveals judgment puts people in boxes discernment opens the door to wisdom and growth think of the Samaritan woman at the well John 41-42 Jesus discerned her life story without her saying a word he didn't condemn her he offered her living water he used his insight to heal to guide to transform that's your calling too God didn't give you discernment to tear people down he gave it to build them up to protect them to protect yourself let's talk about something few people understand the fear others have when they
realize you can see through them it's not a fear they'll ever admit out loud but it's it's written all over their actions they avoid eye contact they get defensive even when you haven't accused them of anything they call you negative or too much all because your presence makes them uncomfortable you're not doing anything wrong you're simply being but the truth is what you carry the gift of discernment is something that shakes people to their poor they know you see what they're trying to hide and that terrifies them it's not easy being the one who sees
the one who knows sometimes you wish you could unsee it all wish you could go back to being like everyone else but you can't God gave you this gift for a reason and while it can feel heavy it's also a blessing it spares you from the traps that others walk in into blindly it saves you from wasting your precious time on people and situations that don't deserve you think about this how much time do people lose on the wrong relationships how often do they pour their hearts into friendships or Partnerships that were never genuine to
begin with but not you God has spared you from that he's given you a gift that allows you to see through the lies the manipulation the fake smiles and while it might make others uncomfortable it's saving you Years Years Of Heartache this gift isn't something you asked for and it's not always something you want there are days when you wish you could turn it off when you'd rather not feel the weight of the energies around you but uh let me tell you even when it feels like a burden it's a blessing in 1 Corinthians 12:10
Paul talks about the spiritual gifts including the ability to distinguish between Spirits that's what you have a god-given ability to discern what others can't and just like any spiritual gift it comes with responsibility it's not meant to Puff you up or make you feel Superior it's meant to protect you and guide others the problem is not everyone understands this some people will call you negative because you don't accept everything at face value they'll say you're making things up because they can't see what you see but let me remind you you're not crazy you're not imagining
things what you feel what you sense is real let's look at Jesus as an example in John 2:24 to2 it says but Jesus would not entrust himself to them for he knew all people he did not need any testimony about Mankind for he knew what was in each person Jesus saw through people he knew their hearts their motives their intentions and just like him you have been given the ability to see beyond the surface here's the thing your discernment isn't just about spotting lies or avoiding danger it's also about time your precious time think about
how much time people waste on the wrong relationships the wrong jobs the wrong paths they ignore the red flags they stay in places they shouldn't all because they can't see what you see but but God has spared you from that your gift of discernment is a shield protecting you from wasting your energy on people who don't deserve it it's a compass guiding you toward what's Real and True and while it might mean you have fewer friends it also means you have better ones fake friends are better left behind they don't deserve a place in your
life and your gift ensures they don't day long but let's be honest it's not always easy there are moments when the loneliness hits you see people laughing with their large circles of friends and you wonder why your circle is so small but let me tell you this quality over quantity what good is a crowd if they're all wearing masks what good is company if it's built on lies God has set you apart and being set apart often means standing alone but remember you're never truly alone Jesus himself said I Am With You Always to the
very end of the age Matthew 28:20 and just like he walked with the outcasts the misunderstood and the misjudged he's walking with you now let me share a story from the Bible remember the the Prophet Elijah in First Kings 19 Elijah felt completely alone he said to God I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty the Israelites have rejected your Covenant torn down your alts and put your prophets to death with the sword I am the only one left and now they are trying to kill me too Elijah felt isolated misunderstood and burdened
by his calling but God reminded him that he wasn't truly alone there were still 7,000 in Israel who hadn't bowed to Bal you might feel like Elijah sometimes like you're the only one who sees what you see the only one carrying this weight but you're not alone God is with you and he's placed others in this world who understand even if you haven't met them yet here's what you need to know your discernment is not a curse it's not a punishment it's a gift and while it might set you apart it also sets you free
free from the lies free from the fake free from the traps that others fall into yes it's hard to be the one who sees yes it's hard to be the one who feels but it's harder to live life blind to the truth God has given you this gift because he knows you can handle it he's equipped you with the strength to carry it the wisdom to use it and the grace to walk in it so what do you do when people don't understand you keep walking you keep trusting you keep listening to the Holy Spirit
and you remind yourself that their discomfort is not your problem their misunderstanding is not your burden you are not here to please people you are here to please God let me leave you with this the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy one is understanding Proverbs 9:10 your discernment is part of that wisdom it's a sign that you are walking closely with God that his spirit is alive and active in you you might not have a crowd cheering you on you might not have everyone clapping for your gift
but that's okay because you're not living for their approval you're living for his and he sees you he knows you he understands what you're carrying and he's proud of the way you're carrying it keep keep walking in your gift keep trusting what you see what you feel what you know and never forget God gave you this gift not to burden you but to bless you you are chosen you are called and you are never alone
