When he saw that his arrow was not from a deer but had entered the leg of Lord Krishna himself, he felt very sad and repentant. As soon as he realized his mistake , he said, Oh God, please forgive me, I have committed a big sin unknowingly . Even the death penalty for this sin is less.

You have not committed any crime, you were the king of monkeys in Tretaya Yuga, whom I killed by hiding behind a tree, which was contrary to the rules of the battlefield, that is why my death was already written at your hands . You become free from this guilt. Saying this, Lord Krishna departed from the material world.

Feeling sad, Zara went to Arjun and told him about the situation . Hearing this, Arjun performed the last rites of Lord Krishna with deep sorrow. His entire body turned into ashes , except his heart which was alive and divine.

Arjun placed the heart on a wooden platform and floated it in the river. The heart kept flowing in the river. And after a long time he reached the Mahandi coast of Odisha.

There was a tribal community called Sabr. Biswa Basu was the head of the tribal community. He found the heart of Lord Krishna from which divine radiance was emanating.

Biswa Basu understood its divinity and continued worshiping it in the form of the idol of Neela Madhava in a secret cave . Apart from the tribal community, no one was aware of this. At that time there was a king named Indra Dyumna in Avanti .

He was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu . Always eager to catch a glimpse of the divine deity. Day 1.

A wandering Rashid came to his palace and said to the king, “ In Odisha, Lord Vishnu is worshiped in the grand form of Neel Madhava . You must find the exact location of this holy place within Odisha . King Indra Dyumna was very pleased and he immediately ordered the Brahmin priest Vidyapati to go to Odisha and search for Neela Madhava.

Following the king's orders, Vidyapati set out on a journey to Odisha. On reaching Odisha after a long and arduous journey, Vidyapati learned from secret sources that the leaders of the Sabras worshiped Neela Madhava inside a hidden cave . Vidyapati reached the forest on the banks of Mahandi in Sabradweep and King Biswa Basu welcomed Vidyapati.

Vidyapati asked Biswa Basu, Sir? Please show me the place of divine worship. I come here with a lot of confidence, I'm sorry, I can't take you to that place.

What do I do now? If I return like this, what answer will I give to the king? I have to find another way .

Vidyapati started living in the same village. Within a few days, he fell in love with Biswa Basu's daughter Lalita and married her. A few days after the marriage, Vidyapati said to his wife, Lalita, can you request your father to show us a glimpse of Neela Madhav ?

After a few months, the mustard seeds that Vidyapati had scattered on the way to the secret cave germinated and became plants. Raja Vidyapati followed the mustard plants and went to see the divine idol of Neel Madhava. When they reached the cave, they did not find anything there .

Neel Madhav had gone missing. Disappointed , King Indra returned to Dyumna's palace. That night Lord Vishnu came in his dream and said, 'Noisy?

In this world I will not be able to give you darshan in the form of Neelmadhav. You go near the entire ocean shore, a liquor will come floating. I will appear in the form of a very large fragrant red colored wooden log.

Symbols of conch, chakra, mace and lotus will be visible everywhere on that wooden log. Bring that wood out and make three idols out of it, then you will be able to worship me. The Knauss king Indra Dyumna followed this message and reached the beach of Puri where he actually found a floating wooden log.

But despite the countless efforts of the king's servants, Knois could not lift any of the wooden logs. Eventually with the help of the tribal leader the wooden log was brought to the palace . But no skilled artisan could make the idol of Neel Madhav from that log .

O king, this wood is so strong that none of our hammers and sugar have any effect on it . Please forgive us, we cannot do this . When this task became possible, Lord Vishnu again appeared in the dream of King Indra Dyumna and said that the king should worship Vishwakarma, the divine architect of the gods.

He will definitely complete this task . Following the advice of Lord Vishnu, King Indradumna prayed to the divine sculptor Vishwakarma. Then Vishwakarma appeared in the form of an old elder and said to King Indradumna, O king, I have heard that you are trying to make an idol.

Yes Shilpi, you heard it right, are you capable of doing this? I will definitely make the idol from that wooden log but I have some conditions. O craftsman, tell me, what are your conditions?

I will make the idols of Lord Vishnu in a closed room in 21 days. And during this process I will have to stay alone. If anyone opens the door before the completion of 21 days, I will leave the idols incomplete in the same state.

Noise Vishwakarma closed the door and started his work . People could only hear the sound of tools like saw, chisel and hammer coming from the room. When no sound was heard after 15 days, the queen became worried and said to King Indra Dyumna, “Maharaj, perhaps I have not heard any sound from that room.

King Indra Dyumna felt very sad for not obeying Vishwakarma and breaking the condition. Therefore the hands and legs of Lord Jagannath are incomplete.

When King Indra Dyumna went near that half-built idol, he felt a heartbeat. Sound is heard which makes them know that the heart of Shri Krishna resides inside this idol . King Indra Dyumna installed the idols that are worshiped today in Jagannath Dham Puri in the name of Lord Jagannath.
