Marcos Sat by his father's bed holding his hand his father was very sick and the small house felt quieter than ever his mother was in the Next Room wiping tears from her eyes and Marcos knew that something was about to change forever he was only 14 years old but he understood that soon everything would be different as Marco sat there his father opened his eyes and smiled weakly at him Marcos he said in a soft voice Marcos leaned closer listening carefully to his father's words I don't have much time left my son his father began

with shaking hands it was his first sale and it filled him with a little bit of hope he kept going knocking on more doors and by the end of the day he had sold all his eggs with the money he earned Marcos went back to the market this time instead of buying more eggs he used his profits to buy two chickens he knew that if he had his own chickens he could have eggs every day to sell Marcos built a small Coupe behind his house for the chickens he took care of them hoping that they

would soon start laying eggs every morning Marcos would check on the chickens and one day his hard work paid off there were fresh eggs waiting for him in the coupe excited Marcos collected the eggs and went out to sell them this time people in the village were more familiar with him here comes Marcos the egg seller they said some smiling others shaking their heads in disbelief some people thought it was funny to see a young boy trying to sell eggs they laughed and said what are you going to do with just a few eggs Marcos

you'll never make it but Marcos didn't let their words bother him he remembered his father's advice don't listen to them keep going as the weeks passed Marco sold more and more eggs he saved the money he earned and after a while he was able to buy two more chickens now he had four chickens and they were laying more more eggs than before his little business was growing every day Marcos walked through the village selling eggs and saving his profits he knew that if he wanted to grow his business he had to think ahead after a

Marcos continued to sell eggs and milk he realized there was even more he could do he remembered his mother telling him stories about how her own mother had made cheese when she was young Marco thought if I can sell milk why not try selling cheese too he asked his mother to teach him how to make cheese it took some time to learn but soon Marcos was making cheese every day the first time he sold his cheese at the market he wasn't sure if people would like it but to his surprise they loved it your cheese

is delicious Marcos people said coming back for more Marcos started selling both milk and cheese and his business grew even more with the money he made from selling cheese he bought another cow now he had two cows and four chickens Marcos woke up early every day to take care of his animals collect the eggs milk the cows and make cheese it was a lot of work but he loved it even though maros business was growing not everyone believed in him there were still some people who laughed at him and said you're just a boy you

can't run a business you'll never make it big Marcos heard these words but he didn't let them stop him he remembered his father's advice don't listen to them keep following your dreams one day a man from The Village came to marcos's house he looked serious and said Marcos people are talking they say you'll never be successful maybe you should give up Marcos looked the man in the eye and said no I won't give up I know what I'm doing and I'm going to make it work the man was surprised by marcos's confidence well good luck

then he said before walking away but Marcos knew that luck wasn't what he needed he needed hard work and determination Marcos continued to work hard every day his farm grew and so did his business people came from all over the village to buy his eggs milk and cheese soon Marcos was making enough money to think about opening a shop in the village he saved his money for months carefully planning how he would open his shop finally the day came when he had enough Marcos rented a small space in the Village Market painted the walls and

put up a sign with his name on it marcos's fresh market in the shop Marcos sold all of the products from his farm fresh eggs milk cheese and even butter that he had learned to make the shop was small but it was his people came every day to buy from him some of the same people who had once laughed at him were now his best customers years passed and Marco business continued to grow he no longer had just a few chickens and cows he had a full farm with many animals and workers to help him

his shop in the village was known by everyone and people came from far and wide to buy his fresh product one evening after a long day of work Marcos sat outside his shop looking at the busy street the sun was setting and the village was peaceful he thought about his father's advice all those years ago Marcos had started with only $10 and a dream now he had a successful business and his family was safe and happy Marco smiled to himself feeling proud of what he had achieved he had followed his dreams worked hard and never
