If you think success is a matter of chance or luck, you are very wrong! Success in entrepreneurship is directly linked to the behavior of entrepreneurs and that is why today you will find out here with me what are the main behaviors of successful entrepreneurs so that 1) you know how you are in relation to them and for what 2) you develop and increase your chances of success. Everyone can undertake!
And I'm not taking these behaviors out of my head, there are several market researches with various entrepreneurs who say how they behave, how do they think? how will they act? so stay with me until the end of this video because it can be the first step towards your success in entrepreneurship.
Hello my favorite entrepreneurs and future entrepreneurs here on the most uncomplicated YouTube entrepreneurship channel. I'm Daniel Niggli and if you want to see a new video every week with tips, concepts and interviews about entrepreneurship, to help you create a successful company, click here to subscribe to the channel, every week there is a new video. And activate notification too!
And before I start today's video, I'm going to start with personal testimonials. It is very easy to simplify and say that someone was lucky, that someone got there just because they were lucky, but nobody sees the perrengue, the perrengues that the person passes behind. That's why in today's video I'm going to give you the behavioral basis you need to be successful in entrepreneurship.
Ah, so I'm going to see this video and am I going to make millions? Obviously not because it just depends on what you are going to do with the content that I am going to show you now, but what I can help you know that you can count on me. None of the behaviors is more important than the other, so while I'm talking to you here, explaining each one to you, you already take a paper and write down how you think you are in relation to each one of them.
Behavior number one: vision! Every entrepreneur has a lot of vision, they can see in a very clear way the way they want to go, the way the market is going, the opportunities that will arise. And now that they see ahead, they have also developed the behavior of making decisions always aiming at that place.
If you don't know where you want to go, any place will do . So make a reflection for you, for your company, including for you personally, where you want to be five years from now and after doing this reflection, make the planning of how to get there. And here I’m not just talking about setting goals that are also important, here I ’m talking about a bigger definition where you want to be x years from now, what are the market trends where you’re at?
how can you absorb that tendency that is likely to happen? here the vision helps you lead movements, pull movements and even create movement. Will artificial intelligence impact my company?
Or rather, better, how can you as a company use artificial intelligence to your advantage? then you change your vision from a passive state to an active state, a state of protagonist. You will lead, but you are already tired of hearing me say here on the channel that there is no point in just having a vision, you have to have courage.
We have to go out, get this idea off the paper and have the courage to get this idea off the paper. And this is exactly the second behavior: courage! It is never easy to take a chance on the unknown, do you remember the last time you made a big change in your life in your personal life, in your company?
When I made the decision to leave the company I worked for, I spent a few months before with a huge cold stomach. Is it the right decision that I will make? at that moment we never know what will happen in the future, but today I can tell you from experience, in my case, that looking back was the best decision I made.
It doesn't mean I was sad there, I was happy, but that moment was no longer for me and I took a chance. I had the courage, seeing somewhere, I had the courage to make this move. That's why I'm here with you today.
Courage does not mean risking everything, we are not talking about madness, you will not take all your money and put it on the stock exchange just because I think it will grow. Nobody is crazy to do this, if someone is crazy, you may lose everything. Courage is about analyzing the risks before making a decision and only after analyzing the risks do you take action.
For example, a big wave surfer who surfs there 10 meters of wave, 15 meters of wave in Nazaré, it may be that he has one screw less on his head but he is very prepared to face any risky situation . He goes out he doesn't know how many minutes without breathing, he knows how to rescue his friends, he knows several things about first aid, in short, he's prepared to face that risk. I would never do that now out of nowhere and even entrepreneurship is exactly the same thing without the courage to make a change.
But again, vision and courage are also not enough. After going down a path, for surfing a big wave, for being there in the background waiting for the wave, you need to have the attitude to actually go down the wave. you need to move on, you need attitude, and this is the third behavior.
The time has come to get your ass off the chair and get your dreams off the ground, and this is where a lot of people get lost. That’s why I created this playlist that I’m going to leave here on the card, but you’ll only see it after you’ve finished seeing all the behaviors, okay? Ninety percent of your success in entrepreneurship is related to your attitude, your ability to execute.
a good idea means absolutely nothing, so how excellent execution on an average idea is much better than me average execution on an excellent idea. Attitude means getting out of your air conditioner, hitting your face, selling your products. things only happen to you going after how many people have already told you that they already had a millionaire idea but stopped just at the idea?
I have a friend, for example, who said that he had the idea of google before google. But obviously he didn't create it, he didn't have the courage, he didn't have the attitude. He had the vision, but he didn’t stop there, didn’t move on.
So leave it here in the comments to know who is the entrepreneur who inspires you the most and I'm sure he will also have these other two characteristics that I will tell you now. Let's assume that you as an entrepreneur or future entrepreneur arrived with me in this video so far saying "wow, and I have a good chance of succeeding, I have a good chance of succeeding". Don't stop there.
Attitude is not enough, you have already taken a mega step that many people do not take, but the ability to learn and unlearn is increasingly important. There's no point in punching like a knife, you 've already had the attitude of testing your idea, putting it in, taking the idea off paper, but there's no point in insisting on something that isn't working, you need to learn from it that it's not working and unlearning with what you’re doing, and adapting your learning ability unlearning adjustments is as important as all the other behaviors that we’ve talked about so far because I accept the role, but the time you’re going to the street testing an idea, things change. You need to adapt, no static idea, no company should be static and any company that stands still, we already know what happens, right?
Who remembers the blockbuster? It stopped, another small company came and killed that small company. Today this small company is a giant.
And so on, companies that don't move, that don't learn over time, will fall behind, will break down. Only those who reinvent themselves are better off. Even the crises that we usually go through, that the market usually goes through, are excellent moments to create great opportunities.
A lot of people get scared, they do, but the crisis shows, lets, opens up opportunities for our eyes, a lot of opportunity that we weren't seeing. And whoever can lead this movement, see, see, will be able to go after it. Vision, courage, attitude and learning for now, but also has a fifth fundamental behavior: your ability to build strong relationships will make a big difference in your speed of growth and your solidity as a company!
And this is not about having millions of followers on Instagram, here are strong and important relationships that will help you get to that vision that you have built. That vision you defined. Think of this network of yours not only because it will help you get there, think of your network really with a partnership.
They are not all your friends who will help you just because they are your friends, they are different people you have never seen in your life who will help you, so what can you also help them? It is a two-way hand. It's a two-way street!
It's time to connect with these people who can help you that will inspire you, that famous coffee is what will make a difference. And did you notice that we didn't say anything about business or courses that an entrepreneur takes? I lost count of how many successful entrepreneurs or college there are, and the reality behind it is that success in entrepreneurship is in our hands, in our behavior of going after and learning.
It is not necessarily in technical knowledge and that is exactly why I say that everyone can undertake, as long as they have two things: the first is that they are willing to learn, behave and adapt, and the second also that it is very important that you are willing to face uncertainty. We do not know how much it will sell next month, next month, three months from now, a year from now. We experience great uncertainty every day and if you are not willing to do it, to face it head on, it is not for you.
There is no right or wrong, there are many people who say they want to undertake, but few have actually seen this key. There is no right or wrong, they are people of different profiles, but if you have the profile and have the dream and are willing to do all of this, you will not regret it, I guarantee you. Just do one more thing to send your boss from that place, before moving your boss to that place if you have n't done what I'm going to tell you.
