he live he said I live on a on the on the world the world's biggest yacht we have Dr John D martini with us welcome to the higher self oh thank you for having me so I I've got to get started on this story tell me about this yacht and the name of it is the world in 911 we were living in New York City my wife and I and when they got the World Trade Center they shut down some of the buildings we were living on the 62nd floor of Trump Tower at the time
they shut down the building and my wife said I can't go into the building and I was in Australia speaking and so she know me and said they've shut down the building what do I do so she got a special transport it was a little edgy and got to Philadelphia and flew to La even though all the airspace was down I got to Australia I was there so we ended up um meeting up and I said 'l she say I don't want to be in New York I'm going to stay out and stay in our
Australian home so I said I'm not scheduled to be here in Australia to speak for a while so I'm not going to see you we have to go to plan B I had already seen in the Rob report uh reference to this beautiful private condominium yacht and I had looked at it and ripped it out of a Rob report and thought this would be great because we travel we're set Gypsies and so that was the initiator because I wasn't going to see her so I had a friend who happened to buy a condominium on there
and we met up in Sydney and he did due diligence he went to Norway where they were building it and um answered all my concerns and questions on it so the next day as an anniversary presentent I got got my wife the ship and I've been on there for 23 years she's passed away now but but uh 23 years I've been living on it so so so and and and this is I'm assuming it must be you know not not everybody lives on a yah so this must be a collection of some really wonderful human
beings that are all living on this boat my personal feeling is these are very beautiful Extraordinary People yeah absolutely they're all amazing they've done something globally all of them are Global thinkers and acers and they do amazing things from philanthropy to building universities to um the leaders I love that I love that that so so so what I want to know is this um everyone that listens to this podcast wants to reach their their highest self right whether that's spiritually whether that's emotionally whether that's financially you know for for you to even be in a
conversation where you get to say that you live on a boat with some of the most wonderful people on planet Earth that means that you've mastered some things in this life that means that you you've mastered the art maybe of manifestation of of creating your own reality where did did that Journey begin for you I was a long-haired hippie Surfer uh living in a tent after social climbing from living under a bridge when I was a teenager in aahu on the NorthShore and I was surfing um the NorthShore I wrote big waves got in some
Surf movies and surf magazines and things at the time back in late 69 70 71 72 and I nearly died at the time and in the recovery of that I went to a health food store somebody took me to a health food store and at the health food store there was an entrance little at the entrance there was a little sign that said a yoga class something made me go to this yoga class and there was a guest speaker named Paul C Bragg brags amino acids that's right and he was speaking he was an elderly
gentleman and he inspired me to believe in a new possibility for me because I was a I had learning difficulties I was I had to go to speech pathologist when I was a child had an arm and leg deformity and I was told I would never be able to read or write or communicate never mind thing that we go very far in life but this night when he spoke it really got to me and he said we have a body we have a mind and we have a soul and the body must be directed by
the mind the Mind must be guided by the soul to maximize our potential and he says you want to what you think about what you visualize what you affirm what you feel what you take actions on and what you persist on becomes your destiny and you want to set goals and objectives for yourself your family your community your city your state your nation your world and beyond for at least 120 years nobody talked to me like that and so I started following what he said at the end of his presentation he took us through this
guided imagery meditation experience this Alpha meditations he called it and I'd not done really any meditation consistently or anything like that for but in that meditation I saw a dream and a vision that was so Lucid I literally walked onto this stoned Archway out over onto a balcony where there was a million people below and I was speaking and the backdrop was a icon buildings from all the major cities around the world is the most surreal thing I had it painted by a famous painter in in Melbourne Australia it sits in my office it's 5
by4 foot painting today what I saw and that that was one of those tear-jerking um gamma synchronous brain states where you just know that you know there's something magical here you need to follow this and that was the beginning of my journey of wanting to overcome my learning challenges and um someday become intelligent and somehow find a way of becoming a teacher and I love traveling been traveling since I was very young and I had a dream to travel the world and go to every country I've now gotten to speak in 160 countries and I
live around the world and I um the universe is my playground the world is my home every country is a room in the house every city is a platform to share my heart and S the way I look at it I love that but it started that night and um I had first figure out how to read so I ended up few months later leaving Hawaii flying back to Los Angeles hitchhiking back to Texas uh where my parents lived and um that's why I'm so amazed when I came here to Austin because I'm because Austin
was quite different then there was a that Tower at the University at about it and um came back there I took a GED High School equivalency test because I didn't have a high school degree I dropped out 13 14 and I guessed and passed it was really miraculous I felt it was a sign there's something magical supposed to happen so my parents tried to taught me into going and trying to take a junior college class to try to get into college because I had my high school degree and I failed the first test I got
a 27 and I remember crying on the way home driving back from that test and thinking what my first grade teacher told me he'll never read he'll never write I really I re Reeder ready to what I was told on most of my life and then I came home and I was curled up in a little fetal position underneath this Bible stand that my had my mom had in the living room and she came home from shopping she saw me crying said what happened son I said I blew the test I guess I don't have
what it takes I guess I'll will never do those things that I was told and she just paused and then she put her hand on my shoulder and she said something that really made a difference she said whether you become a great teacher and travel the world like you dream whether you go back and ride giant waves on the NorthShore like you've done or return to the streets and Panhandle what you've done I just want to let you know that your father and I are going to love you no matter what you do we just
love you just want you to know that when she said that my hand went into a fist I looked up and I saw that Vision the night I saw Paul brag I saw that vision lucidly and I said to myself I'm in a m the thing call reading and studying and learning I'm in a master the thing called te teaching healing and philosophy and I'm going to do whatever it takes travel whatever distance pay whatever prize to give my service of Love across this planet I got up I hugged my mom and I went back
into my room and I got a funk and wagels dictionary in those days if you bought $20 worth of food from Kroger you got a dictionary I got this dictionary and I made a commitment that I would memorize 30 words a day into my vocabul was strong enough to build a past school and two years later I had 20,000 words memorized my mom used to test me every night on 30 words until my babary group and I went from the bottom of the class to the top of the class and I never stopped and I
started teaching I didn't care if who it was anybody that would come and listen I just do a presentation sometimes I'd talk to myself and um that just kept growing by the time I went to the University of Houston two years later I'd have 100 100 125 150 400 people a day under the trees gathered doing presentations on whatever topics that can seem to be emerging and I continue to do that and so I've been speaking most every day since you know there's so many people it's interesting I I just we we have a online
community and I I we just finished having a conversation like this there there's so many people listening to this episode right now that are that are that version of you that that that boy that was afraid that that boy that came across that obstacle you know that that didn't know how to read um and and and and they don't decide I think that's the key right they they don't decide that no matter what happens they're going to make a change right you know I know that you speak a lot on human behavior what what is
what is that behavior right what's that behavior and and where does the new Behavior come from that causes actual life change every human being regardless of gender Spectrum age or culture lives Moment by Moment by a set of priorities a set of values things that are most to least important in their life that are fingerprint specific the these set of values emerge from the voids that they've had in their life from the judgments that they've experienced that they didn't see the wholeness too that they feel empty by but this unque set of values whatever they
are the very highest of the value the thing that's most important the thing that's most meaningful most inspiring they spontaneously do without needing any extrinsic motivation to do mine is teach nobody has to motivate me I ask people very commonly in programs uh what is it you do every single day that nobody has to remind you to do that you are inspired to do you love doing and you you just can't wait to do it and everybody has something yeah but they many times compare themselves to other people and then judge that and then they're
afraid to say what it is or afraid to pursue it because they don't know how they can either economically make it viable or socially make it viable Etc but finding out what that highest value is and finding out what they spontaneously are inspired to do and then structuring their life and organizing their life so they can dedicate to what's highest in priority and delegate all the rest that's right you don't go you don't have a self-actualized life without delegation can't do it all and finding that one thing as Gary Keller said that liberates you that
you are the greatest de can catapult incremental momentum towards an Unstoppable outcome and so giving yourself permission to pursue what's TR truly in the heart most meaningful that is really telling logically Soul guided if that's the term the soul being the state of unconditional love for what you're doing and the Soul being the most authentic integrated you the most medior prefontal cortex guided action if we give ourselves permission to do that and then surround ourselves with people that are absolutely inspired and in their highest value doing the things we want to delegate it's it's impossible
for you not to catalyze something deeply powerful and meaningful and each of those opportunities that emerge for yourself and other people increase the probability of being of service to people and the the sustainable Fair exchange and engagement of transactions that allow you to do what you love in a way that serve and fulfill other people's lives liberate you and magnetically attract opportunities that are viable financially and meaningful and socially networked I mean amazing things happen people said you know you because you're you know financially viable you've been able to do those things no I be
I was financially viable because I did those things that's right because when I started I didn't have that that's right so it's it it doesn't matter where you start doesn't matter what you've been through doesn't matter what you're going through what matters is are you going to apply the principles to stand the test of time that lead to great achievement if you do it's your destiny I say all the time there's no way it can't happen well that's the thing when when you access that pure authentic State the thing that really inspires you the way
the medial prefontal cortex is it's actually connected to the V5 V6 areas in the ocial cortex the visual asso you see a vision you also activate a certain area the motor CeX that's involved in spontaneous action so you're not sitting there living in anxiety because you're pursuing fantasies you're pursuing something that's a real objective you're already mitigating risk in your mind because of the broad and depth of awareness that happens when you live in the authentic State and you see strategies you see how you can do it instead of seeing things in the way you
see things on the way instead of being a victim of History you see yourself as a master of Destiny you feel it's impossible for you not to fulfill it it's destined and that's the Unstoppable state that the people places things ideas and events in our life that synchronize with what's truly most important emerges and we see opportunities that we didn't see before and they they're there in front of us at all times so I've recently been obsessed with learning about supplements because I found out all of the Shady tactics that happen in the industry like
how natural flavors are far from natural or get this how some vitamins are derived from GMO corn syrup I know it's disgusting this is why it's so important to trust the company you buy your supplements from and there's only one company on planet Earth I trust and that's Kono I I've never seen a higher standard in the industry where literally every single ingredient is ethically sourced with intention I've been absolutely loving their full body hydrate product it's the most comprehensive and I think best tasting electrolyte on the planet it helps my brain function I feel
like it's helping my skin I feel more hydrated and overall I just feel incredible throughout the day when I drink it but all in all guys all of their supplements are incredible I'm passionate about sharing them with you guys because these guys have your health at heart check them out at conon nutrition.com danany and get 10% off your order again that's conon nutrition.com Danny for 10% off your order so let's let's so let's talk about this I you know what what I've found in my work is that a lot of the issues that people have
in this case with achievement success let's just call it what it is in this case money is their psychology their thought process their connection to their stories around money like what I find is that many people who struggle with money struggle with life needing to be a struggle because they saw their parents struggle there's always a a story right like number one do you find that to be true number two how does someone break out of that pattern well I've been pretty blessed to be able to assist people in that Arena and um the hierarchy
of your values dictates your financial destiny could you say that one more time the hierarchy of your values dictates your financial destiny now I've interviewed people over 100 billionaires I've also interviewed people that are extremely poverished that may make 60 cents a day and there is definitely a distinct value system there that's different and if you don't have a value on contributing to people's lives you don't have a value on yourself you don't have a value value on growing sustainable Fair exchange transactions which money represent then you'll probably have these challenges and struggles but once
you see and value that and there's a science on how to raise that in your value system you immediately act different most people they don't realize that if you don't have a value on wealth building you'll buy things that go down in values that are consumables you become a slave to money all your life and most people live being you know above their means instead of below their but if you start to Value it yourself and service and and income um you start buying things to go up in value you want to make sure that
you put something that your hard work goes into something that goes up in value and I've seen people who start out where they can't they're in debt they can't pay anything they can't do anything they don't know what to do and we get really clear about what they're going to do it's a strategy so it's not fluffy and fantasy and then we structure it on automatic non-emotional strategic savings and investment structure and then we go and focus on absolutely serving the people meeting people's needs not projecting assumptions on what people need but actually meeting people's
needs where there's a demand driving Supply and they automate their Investments where it's there's no emotion in it because emotions destroy wealth and strategies build it the Executive Center builds strategies that build wealth and then they all of a sudden they realize that this is totally doable this is not that difficult they just haven't started it and nobody guided them what to do and it's not that much work really I mean I've seen thousands of people that couldn't do it and then with a simple instructions they would change their Direction with it but you have
to have a more value every decision you make is based in the midload based on what is more advantage or disadvantage so if you don't see more advantage of serving people valuing yourself and developing wealth so you have the options of what you can do with it and you have a higher value on other things then you'll keep buying those other things and many of them are consumables that are high-priced items to make you feel transiently better because you're not appreciating yourself because you're trying to compare yourself to other people instead of Honor who you
are you're living uh in the shadows of others and and and instead of standing on the shoulders of giants in other words and you're basically being second being somebody else instead of first to being what you're here for you said something you said a a a fair it's a a fair trade service exchange it's it's the way that you spoke about money and and I and I would love for you to talk more about that because I think that's like a fundamental problem that people have is that they don't understand there's there's just an exchange
of of of energy is is what it is and the and the exchange of energy in this world is is money um what are your thoughts on that and what are your thoughts on how to get people out of this hangup that they have where you know why isn't it free or you know there's just so many limited beliefs around something that is so readily available to everybody and anyone yeah there's never never a lack of money uh if you're willing to serve people I spoke at this church one time and uh you could tell
that the church had been stagnant and had not been growing and so I met with a minister before I spoke and I confronted him I said he said yeah we're having this I said all these excuses instead of being focused on service and I I told him I said let's have some inspiring vision to be working towards and let's rally the troops and let's do something we raised 13 it wasn't a lot but $113,000 which is more money than he's ever raised in the history of his church in one night yeah and I said let's
give them something to to work towards something that inspires them and I made a statement that if you're poor it's because you're not caring about Humanity which really shocked people they because hold on a minute now but what it means is if you really care about a human being you'll find out what their needs are and you'll go out of your way to directly or indirectly find the services products or ideas to be able to serve them and if you're focused on doing them and they see that you really care to serve them they they
tend to tell other people and it tends to grow and it's sustainable Fair exchange has been Hubert H bankof in his book The Book of wealth which is one of the greatest books ever written on it said very clearly there were three things common to very wealthy people and these are the wealthiest people in history and that was that they they felt that they were destined to serve ever greater numbers of people vast numbers of people it was a destiny just like you have a you're Ser you're here destined to serve Millions 100% that I
i' I've assumed billions in my life billions of people just automatic you also realized that you pursued a great uh lifestyle not for the sake of Lifestyle for show but for rewarding people that were excellent in the creation of their crafts and their skills Etc and you were rewarding inspiration not desperation so you were going for the finest not to show off but the finest to be able to honor the people who were excellent at what they were doing and you surrounded yourself with excellence and rewarded Excellence which catapults the economy forward and the third
one was that you transcended the the moral limitations and moral hypocrisies Associated about money that is good or evil because money is not good or evil That's Just an Illusion that people have been told right so one of the largest institutions that have probably the most money promoted that one absolutely absolutely so that's a big factor but then what happens is most of us we we meet people and we compare ourselves by the law of contrast between them and us they have another set of values we have our set of values we look at them
and we well they're excelling in something I'm not excelling in so they must be more than me I must be less than them and anytime we compare ourselves to somebody else instead of comparing our own daily action to what we value most we automatically self depreciate when we put people on pedestals but the moment we do we're conscious of their upsides and unconscious of their downsides and then we're conscious of our downsides and unconscious of our upsides by the comparison when we do we then inject some of their values into our life and try to
be second at being them instead of being first at being us and then we end up diluting our potential we call it self-sabotage we call it limiting beliefs we call it all kind of things but it's because we compared ourselves to them and minimize oursel inauthentically because when we minimize oursel that's not who we are but if we also meet people we go oh you know and you look down on them you resent them you're conscious of the negatives and unconscious of the positive of them now you puff yourself up and get conscious of your
positives and unconscious of the negatives and you then you arrogantly project your values on them and expect them to live in your values and then judge them anytime we put people on pedestals or pits not put them in our heart and not have sustainable Fair exchange between people because if you put yourself up you'll get narcissistic and expect them to live in your values and if you put yourself down you'll be altruistic and sacrifice you for them neither one of those are sustainable and they create futility and they're trying to give us feedback physiologically psychologically
sociologically economically to get us back into authenticity where we have Fair exchange where we we're not buffed up we're not beat up we're there present caring not care less not care full but caring to meet their needs because they're a reflection of who we are and we help them get what they want we get what we want to get as schopenhauer said we become uh ourselves to the degree that we make everyone else ourselves so if we want to be prosperous help people be prosperous help them fulfill their dreams and meet their needs when you
do there's never a lack of money because there's never a lack of ability to serve and when you do you have the most fulfillment I've asked millions of people if you had only 24 hours to live you know what would you do you'd thank the people that contributed to your life and then you look back at your life what was the most fulfilling moments it's the ones that I felt like I was doing what I really loved doing and I was doing it in a way that it served somebody and somebody said thank you I
love you for that and when we're there we now Master the game of AFF Fair exchange sustainability and authenticity and there's no way you can stop there no way you can do that without having cat catalytic growth of opportunities I got I got a I got a you know this this is a this is a moment for me because I I in many ways do what you just explained and and it's and and I say that I say that humbly because there's a lot of people out there that that come to me for help but
but you're helping me in in in a in a really deep way it's it's so interesting but like I'm constantly in a state of like I value myself I love myself I know I I know what my purpose is I know what we're here to do I I I I get it all but I spend so much time on why isn't it happening as fast as it happens for for for that guy and you're right that's exactly what I do how do we how do we break out of that when I work with people I
first thing I do is I do a value determination process okay I first started studying values 46 years ago because I asked myself what is it why do some people walk their talk some people limp their life why do some people do what they say some people and it boiled down to their values their hierarchy values because the second they set goals that are congruent with what they value most they walk their talk and the second they don't they limp their life and the limping of the life is not an error it's not a weakness
it's not a flaw it's not something that they need to beat themselves up on it's their body and Physiology and psychology doing what it can to let them know that's not the direction the direction is in your highest value and you're going in this Direction only because you're comparing yourself to other people and and maybe if I share a story that maybe it could Rel to so whoever's out there reflect on this story because this is really cute one a guy comes to me many years ago probably 20 now he says Dr D Martin I'd
like you to help me become successful I said fantastic where are you successful I said he said Dr D martinia maybe I didn't make myself clear I'm not successful I want to be successful help me be successful and I said umre where are you successful he said I'm not getting in across to you Dr I'm not I want to be I said well maybe I haven't made it clear I'm asking a pertinent question where are you nothing's missing it's in a form that you're not honoring because you're comparing yourself to other people and thinking it's
into other forms so where are you successful where are you doing what you set out to do consciously or unconsciously and you're achieving something that you're grateful for he goes okay I have an amazing wife we've been together 10 and a half years and it brings tears to my eyes when I think about how blessed I am for my wife my wife is just an amazing we have a beautiful family and we have an amazing relationship I said great would you consider that a great achievement he goes yes what's next well now that you got
me thinking differently um my son who's 10 uh he's in baseball I'm the coach and I think we're going to win the P this this summer and that's something we've both been working on since he was about six I said great where else you successful well now you think about it it make me think I my mother-in-law lives with us and very few people I know could love their mother-in-law to live with us but she is amazing she's like another mother to me she's like special and we she really helps with the kids and helps
us around the house and that is something that I don't see anybody else being able to pull off I said where else she successful well we as a family work in the yard and we have this magnificent beautiful flowered yard and trimmed and flower beds and it's just really something we as a family work together on where else she successful well on Sundays I do ministerials work and also on on Wednesday night I do kind of ministerial spiritual teaching I said fantastic and we listed all of his successes once we targeted him into a different
area I said can you see that you're having some successes now he says yes I said the only reason you're thinking you're not successful because you're comparing yourself to somebody else and as a result of it somebody with a different set of values so who are you comparing yourself to he said I think I know there's this guy up the hill same road up farther up the hill 6,000 foot house three-car garage five cars big practice I got a small practice big practice U really known influential and I'm comparing myself to him fantastic do you
know him well he says yeah pretty well I said is he married yep does he have kids yep you have a son yep how's his relationship with his wife it's interesting you ask that it's extremely volatile I think they break up about every six months and they're fighting a lot and they're they're just like my wife and I just look at each other and go whoa and um a lot of stress there lot of yelling and you know it's it's really volatile and what about his son is he in baseball no no they're having problems
with him in school and he's doing drugs and he's and he's really a challenge and they don't have time for him and so they're going to therapist and doing this and it's just you know it's Non-Stop and do they have a mother-in-law live with them oh no they moved out of the country to get away from that crazy lady yeah and the yard now they have people that take care of but I don't think they even notice their yard and do they do anything on on the at the church no he's not involved in spiritual
stuff at all nothing like that I said let me explain to you this man is not more successful than you he has a different set of values a different hierarchy of values and he is spontaneously acting in his values which appears to be business and finance and social influence and wealth you have a high value on on your family very obvious family is really high in your values and spirituality anesthetics you are not one ounce less successful but your success contributes to this planet as much as his and what you're doing is an exemplification for
a lot of families that wish they could have what you have so I want to start by saying first honor what you already have and not compare it to somebody you think has something you don't because the truth is you don't ever have anything missing our missingness and unfulfillment is only because of comparison not because of reflection so take the time to deeply reflect and take a look and he said I really really appreciate what you're saying there and he had tears in his eyes and he said I never realized that but that gentleman actually
has to spoken to me and asked me about how I handle my how do I de with my wife he looks at me as successful in my marriage and he looks at me as successful in the way I do my kids in baseball and why does he have a son that's so organized and so focused because if you don't fill your day with high priority actions that are meaningful that are inspiring to you that you spontaneously doing you will automatically have the Amiga take over and entropy and you'll automatically break down and entropies and you'll
end up with immediate gratification addictions compulsions impulses and the animal nature takes over when you don't allow the divine nature to guide and he was seeing the impact and then he said I really I really love this I i' like the stress is off me and it's like my my my perception of myself has just changed in the last 15 20 minutes but is there anything can give me some ideas on how I could increase my income I said yes people want to fulfill what's most meaning for them concentrate as much as you do on
your wife and your child concentrate on the actual patience you have naturally existing economic relationships make the greatest patience and do what you can to serve them and the people they care about and go out of your way to make that a dream and write it down on a daily basis of what you could do for their lives because what you could do through exemplification as a human being right now if you could have that shared with the people that come in as a patient you're doing an incredible service even more so than that other
gentleman that you think has been admired yeah honor that go focus on that and then force yourself to save and invest money don't wait if you wait to the end of the month to find out if you have extra money you will never have it entropy will take over and unexpected bills will erode it but if you force your savings and have it automated and electronically done and it's gone into buying assets quality assets uh index funds or something that buys something that goes up in value real estate properties something goes up in value so
you're not a slave to money but you're its master and you buy assets those assets will catalyze more opportunity in your business because you're managing money wisely and people who do get more money to manage that's it for this week's episode I'm just playing that was wonderful that was wonderful yeah where did you learn all this when I moved back from Tex to Texas from Hawaii I um had been studying yoga I started devouring everything I could on yoga I started doing meditation Paul Bragg really inspired me and I started to you know learn everything
I could about health because I had a health problem and I and I wanted to learn and I was sitting on the floor in my parents den watching a show with David kerine called Kung Fu now not some people may not know what that show was but that was back in the 1973 and he had a Shaolin Master and he would reflect and kind of have a flashback as if he was at the Shaolin Master Training Center while he was in America even though he came from China and he kept referring to his master as
this master and the master called him the grasshoppa and when he said Master the way he said it I thought I want to be a master I want to be a master I didn't know what that meant but it sounded cool yeah so I decided what what does it take to be a master so I I decided that I wanted to master and I divided life into seven areas our spiritual quest which is living an Inspired Life and exemplifying what's possible in an inspiring path not necessarily religious but that not excluded I want to wake
up genius Paul Bragg told me when I told him I didn't know how to read he said just say to yourself every single day that I'm a genius and I apply my wisdom he said if you do that every single day soon later the cells of your body will tingle with it so with the world I've never missed a day in 52 years saying that I want to wake up genius Innovative creative my my internal affirmation is I create original ideas of serve Humanity I create original ideas serve humanity and I'm a genius and I
apply my wisdom so I put that in as as a goal then I wanted to create an international business I wanted to go to every country on the face of the Earth and have students around the world which we accomplished in 2016 finally I want to have Financial Independence multiple times over I want to have a global family where I lived around the world I never I never saw myself in a a little suburb I always say the universe is my playground the world is my home and the name of my ship is called the
world the world um every country is a room in the house every City's a platform to shahel I want to have social influence I want to meet people that anybody that's had any major con you know contribution to society globally presidents or prime ministers or or great leaders or musicians or artists or celebrities or sports figures or or Business Leaders anybody that's had Global influence I wanted to go and I want to hang out with them I want to associate with them I want to find it with do I want them as clients I had
very clear focus on that's who I want to interact with I want to have Vitality I'm 70 in a couple months 70 I want to have the Vitality of somebody much younger so I maybe when I'm on the 100 to 120 year thing I'm still going in teaching because I still want to teach when I'm on my last day so I I had a dream to empower all seven areas of life and I learned that any area of your life you don't Empower people will overpower you and the purpose of their over empowerment is to
aggravate you enough to get back to priority and the inclusion of those areas to empower it's a feedback life is all feedback it's always on the way if you look at it from that perspective so I made it a goal to read everything I could learn everything I can mentor under everything I could investigate everything I could in those seven areas and I had a goal to because me mastering one area because I saw so many people who may Master business but then they got crazy family or they might Master spirituality but they have no
money I said I want to master all of them and exemplify that because Einstein said the greatest teacher is exemplification so I want to exemplify and Empower those areas and I'm going to not measure myself to other people I'm going to measure my own metrics compared to where I am to where I'm headed what my mission is so I'm a man on a mission I don't care about success or failure none of those things those are just delusions I just focus on my mission and that's been since I was 17 I had the dream to
be a teacher 18 is when I made that decision and that was 52 years ago and I work on it every single day of my life every single day in order to not miss these episodes or the weekly clips that we provide that will help you in the three energies of human Mastery how to change your financial life how to change your relationship life and how to heal yourself physically emotionally and spiritually make sure to subscribe right now to the channel trust me it'll be the greatest decision and AC action you take today because the
value we are committed to bringing you is going to be lifechanging go ahead and subscribe right now so if somebody's out there listening and they say that's it this is the moment I'm ready to change my life what what would be step number one two three four the first is being as honest as you can about what you value and I'm gonna give an example I was speaking in um Johannesburg at a success Summit they called it I was the opening speaker Richard ROM was the final speaker there's a bunch of speakers in between presenting
and I got up on stage and there's 5,000 people or something there and I said how many of you want to be financially independent every hand went up some had two hands some had their leg in the hands and I looked and I saw and there's a roaring group fresh off the off the morning right and I said great fantastic how many of you are financially independent where your passive income is exceeding your active income and your doing your work only because you love to not because you have to you're doing it because you have
mastered money all the hands went down but seven so 5,000 people put their hands down I said can you see that everybody says they want something but only seven of the people here are acknowledging it so I'd like to ask you a series of questions because the hierarchy of your values dictates your financial destiny and if you don't have a value on wealth building it's not going to happen you have whatever your value is is where your money goes if you have a value on travel your money's going to go to travel if you have
a money goes to your kids it's going to go to kids and none of them are wrong wealth is in all those areas Financial wealth is just one of forms of wealth none of them are right or wrong or Better or Worse they're just but if you say you won't have Financial Independence you're not going to have it unless you have a value on that form because your money is going to go by everything else and you're going to be living VI Cary through other people's brand instead of building your own brand so I said
get a piece of paper out and I'm going to give you one minute to write the 10 things you do would do if I handed you right now10 million us so I'm GNA give you I want you to close your eyes you're G to get $10 million stacked in a this thing of10 million you have one minute to write down what you're going to do with it on your mark get set go they have 60 seconds to write the 10 things we would do if they had that money they're rushing as fast as they can
I say up take that and hand that sheet to the person on your left or right or whatever now go and determine and I gave some descriptions of assets go and determine how many assets are left in that sheet that piece of paper at a 10 million 20 to 80% of the $10 million was spent on consumables that depreciated in value in 60 seconds so that means oh I buy that house I'm going to get that now car I'm going to take that trip I'm buy those new clothes I'm going to go out this I'm
go these nice restaurants it was all consumerism lifestyle none of it was asset accumulation the seven people in the front didn't spend their money they put it in for their assets so they would have they would live off 2% of whatever the assets were generating they were the people that are wealthy the rest of them spent it and I explained to them um those that say and all exuberantly elated about the fantasy of Building Wealth as long as you have a higher value on buying consumables that depreciate you're not going to do it you have
to defer gratification me a gratification cost you financially deferred gratification is what pays and deferred gratification means that I'm worthy of having um a space and time Horizon beyond my mortal needs and to have something that's a legacy thought process in the brain the as senica said you measured individual by their most distant ends how big an end do you have in mind for your cause because the greater your cause a greater your wealth potential so anyway everybody was kind of shocked and a bit whoa because they couldn't argue with what they just wrote and
they saw that they confused Lifestyles with the rich and famous with wealth which is exactly the opposite I mean you know look Nicholas Cage you know made 125 million do and it was $25 million in debt because he lived Beyond his means where the guy that's usually more wealthy is usually a simple guy like a buffet right lives in simple and doesn't flaunt it philanthropic so I said now unless you have a change in values today you're not going to have a change in your out actions because every decision you make is based on what
you believe will give the greatest advantage over disadvantage at that moment and that's going to be based on the hierarchy of your values in that moment so if you don't have a value on wealth building and buying assets more than the other things that are lifestyle you're going to keep getting money you're going to raise your money double your income and you just get double the lifestyle but still have no money working for you and you'll depreciate yourself every time you doing because you're living on your Edge constantly beating yourself up comparing so I said
now let me show you six things that have been common that I found in all the billionaires that I've interacted with and um so write these six things down the first one I said and and then we're going to these are action steps that have been common to to the wealthiest billionaires that I've met number one they built a business that served ever greater numbers of people name any billionaire Bill Gates he built a business Microsoft the guy for Louis Vuitton built businesses um Branson Elon Musk three of them you don't you don't build wealth
unless you're doing something that is filling people's needs you can't expect to get Wealthy by I mean you might inherit wealth but you'll squander it like the Vanderbilts did if you don't have a value on wealth building and service to grow it you'll Decay it so write down 200 benefits when you leave here this weekend go and write two start tonight 200 benefits of building a business that serves ever greater numbers of people until the value you have on that is greater than the values of lifestyle and expecting something for nothing because people that are
enti they don't ever get empowered the people who are empowered they don't waste their time getting entitled they go into service they work they they have a work ethic and that can be directly or indirectly Richard Branson I've spent time with him and he doesn't he doesn't necessarily run all his businesses he has people that run his business so you can do it directly or indirectly you can H hire people that are inspired that are greatest at what they do to help you run the business and you focus on your specialty yeah yeah number two
right 200 benefits of managing that business effectively and efficiently where it maximizes profits so you can hire the greatest people and afford that and keep the prices low to the the customers to be competitive and to maximize profits and to be able to learn how to be effective and efficient in your use of time and energy so you follow Ricardo's law to find out your competitive advantage and compared Advantage you find out pto's principle and the 2080 laws you follow the principles that have stood the test of time on efficiency and running a business the
third one is 200 benefits of saving an Ever Progressive portion of the profit you scaling up a cash Reserve to stabilize the volatilities of the business so it's it's Invincible it has a stock pile of cash so there's no volatilities associated with it because wherever money goes money flows and more possibilities and wealth comes to that and you do that and write the benefits of that until you have a cash reserve the Fortune 100 companies have at least a 40 % cash Reserve in their reserves Microsoft has aund a whole Year's worth of cash reserves
and Buffett has 100 billion in cash reserves the fourth one is 200 benefits of investing in ever greater degrees of Leverage so you're actually learning what an asset is and you're investing in things that allow you progressively increasing you know probabilities of yields and that's learning how to invest in Quality Companies people think right now that investing is trading and it's it's a derivative and things of this nature that's not what investing is in it's buying and investing in product service or ideas or companies that produce to the economy and give job opportunities and give
incentives and train and educate and help people if you do that and keep growing your Investments then your money is going to start making you money and that is going to make it now you can get Cutting Edge creative ideas because you're not being distracted by survival the fifth one is accumulating a fortune if you don't have a desire for it you'll end up buying clutter you'll buy you'll spend it on trivia and you you'll think I always say money with meaning leads to philanthropy money without meaning leads to debauchery you'll end up being debaucherous
in your life so you go in there and you actually invest and build it and accumulate it so instead of you having the government give it socially to people and rescue people of desperation you're targeting it into areas of inspiration and you're feeding and re rewarding the economy structure going uphill instead of downhill one of my friends is a he's very wealthy billionaire and he basically has learned and he's he's opened up five universities he's educating people performing art center he's doing amazing things and he's he says I spend as much time making it in
those years I now spend the same amount of time targeting how to contribute to people's lives not robbing them of dignity accountability responsibility or productivity but building something that is not teaching them giving him fish for the day but teaching him how to fish and the sixth one is creating a financial cause 200 benefits of creating a financial cause that leaves a legacy on the planet something that will with perpetuity that is something that they will keep theel working on and go beyond their life so they they're they're they're showing what's possible with economics and
um I've sat with the head of seaman Corporation one time at a dinner and after I went through these same six things and he sat there looked at his wife he says that's our life no wonder we've been so fortunate he was living it without even knowing it cognitively but these six things are action steps that are proven to move in the direction so if you don't have a value on those things you're probably going to have less less of an outcome financially and that it doesn't mean that you're not a magnificent person money is
not where it's everything you're you're I have friends that have in RI Shankar you know sh Shar he's a beautiful guy but he's he's a billionaire but he's a spiritual teacher and he's focused on that and he ends up doing contributions to people all over the place and I've met other people that are that money was the byproduct because they kept serving yeah so whether you're dedicated to spirituality or Fitness I've met many sports people that are being wealthy because they they put the two together so I'm not attached to being wealth as being dominant
I mean whatever area of your life I'm interested in mastering them all and none of them are worse or better than the others but I don't want to see myself as a slave I want to see myself as a as a contributor on the planet and so that's why I I wanted to master that I read as much as I could on that mentored and studied and so I would be able to exemplify that I love that what would you what would be your final thoughts this is my last thought on to the audience no
matter where you are no matter what you've been through no matter what you're going through as I said earlier give yourself permission humble yourself and give yourself permission to learn what works Paul direct the Nobel Prize winner said many years ago 1940s that U it's not that we don't know so much we know so much that in so find out what really is the magnificence of what really is is far greater than the fantasies that we keep being sold in the marketplace because of dopamine and give yourself permission to learn what's objective what's true and
start doing the basics and start giving yourself permission to go after what's truly meaningful to your life bronnie wear in her five regrets for the people dying I've had a nice conversation you beautiful lady and these regrets that people have is because they didn't take the time to be integral with who they are and they let the concern about you know I'm not intelligent enough what if I'm not intelligent enough what if I fail what if I don't make money at it what if my loved ones won't respect me or they'll leave me what if
what if I get rejected what if I don't have the Vitality of the looks or beauty or what if it breaks some moral spiritual thing of some Guru or whatever don't let the World dictate your destiny let the voice and the vision on the inside be louder than all opinions on the outside and go after what's true for you and then care enough about Humanity to make sure it is in a done in a way that makes a real contribution so you can have fulfillment and prosperity in your life there's nothing stopping you from doing
