In today's lesson we're going to go through 20 of some of the most common English tongue twisters to help you improve your English pronunciation. Tongue twister number one: She sells seashells by the seashore. She sells seashells by the seashore. Number two: How much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood?
How much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood? Number three: Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled peppers. Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled peppers.
Number four: Betty Botter bought some butter but she said the butter's bitter. Betty Botter bought some butter but she said the butter's bitter. Number five: A big black bug bit a big black bear.
A big black bug bit a big black bear. Number six, this one is very tricky! Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear.
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair. Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't very fuzzy was he? Faster!

Number seven, this one's very common! I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream. I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream.
Number eight, this one's very short so you have to say many times as quickly as you can! Red lorry, yellow lorry, red lorry, yellow lorry, red lorry, yellow lorry. I'll say it faster!
Red lorry, yellow lorry, red lorry, yellow lorry, red lorry, yellow lorry, red lorry, yellow lorry, red lorry, yellow lorry. That's as fast as I can do that one! If you can say that one faster then let me know in the comments!
Number nine: You know New York, you need New York, you know you need unique New York. You know New York, you need New York, you know you need unique New York. Number 10, I think this one for me is the hardest one!

I can't I can't do that one any faster! Number 11: How can a clam cram in a clean cream can? How can a clam cram in a clean cream can?

Number 13: A proper copper coffee pot. A proper copper coffee pot. Try and say it faster!
A proper copper coffee pot. A proper copper coffee pot. Number 14: I'm going to show you a little trick to make this easier -pronounce that first part of true like a CH sound: true, true.
So, think of it as like a CH like in cheese or church: true, truly rural, truly rural. Now say as fast as you can! Truly rural, truly rural, truly rural, truly rural.
Number 15: Three free throws. 'Three' - make sure you get that 'th' with the tongue between the teeth: three free throws, three free throws three free throws. Number 16: Rolling red wagons - mind that 'r' sound, make sure you're not saying it like 'rrrolling rrred wagons' but 'rolling red wagons'.
This is a really really good one for practicing that 'r' sound! Rolling red wagons. Number seven - this one is amazing for comparing chicken and kitchen, which a lot of people confuse!
I saw a kitten eating chicken in the kitchen. I saw a kitten eating chicken in the kitchen. Number 18, another really hard one for me!
She sees cheese, she sees cheese. Try to say it faster! She sees cheese, she sees cheese, she sees cheese.
I can't do that one faster. Number 19 - be really careful with this one cuz if you slip up you can end up saying a very bad word! See if you can guess what that bad word is.
I slit the sheet, the sheet I slit and on the slitted sheet I sit. I'll read it again faster: I slit the sheet, the sheet I slit and on the slitted sheet I sit. I nearly slipped up then, nearly!
And number 20, our last tongue twister for today, we have: Betty loves the velvet vest best. Betty loves the Velvet vest best. Betty loves the Velvet vest best.
