to quit pornography is that it has now become a habit it's not very easy to just stop what you have been doing the longer the time spent the harder it is to quit it is not impossible possible though but you also have to know it is not easy your brain has been wired to think this action is normal so it will continue to ask for it this information automatically lets you know that you have to put an effort to unlearn this habit thereby rewiring your brain for something more positive you need to make up your

and eventually when they eat these things they are triggered one thing I want you to note is that these things are psychological iCal and may be unique to different individuals what triggers one person may not trigger another because everyone is wired differently this is why you have to take time to discover your triggers it may not be something that is common to others but triggers you in checking for triggers you should always be truthful to yourself there is no point in taking this exercise if you know you will not be truthful you shouldn't excuse certain

triggers because they might involve you giving up an activity you love if you truly want to get rid of pornography like you claim you do you must identify your triggers get a book and write them all down don't use paper use a proper Journal take time off and sit in silence you can play worship music in the background and begin to write all that you remember one good way to involve prayer will be by asking the Holy Spirit to reveal these triggers to you sometimes we may not even know all our triggers but relying on

we should also keep these scriptures in mind Hebrews 4:15 which says for we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses but we have one who who has been tempted in every way just as we are yet he did not sin in 1 Corinthians chap 9: 27 which says I disciplin my body like an athlete training it to do what it should otherwise I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified this shows that Jesus also faced pornography issues there were very beautiful women in his time

his part while he expects us to play ours when we pray to God to overcome pornography he gives us the power to do so taking advantage of the power he has given you is another thing altogether when we pray we receive the faith to overcome pornography but as the Bible says faith without works is dead so you mustn't believe alone you must take certain actions the two go together and we will be showing you these actions soon Colossians 3: 5 says so put to death the sinful Earthly things working within you have nothing to do

with sexual immorality impurity lust and evil desires don't be greedy for a greedy person is an idolator worshiping the things of this world this is the second thing you need to do after identifying your triggers since you already know what causes these triggers you have to look for the proper solution to them I will tell you a secret do you know everything you do is aided by an atmosphere what do I mean have you you notice that it seems easier to pray in church if you belong to a Spirit-filled church than to pray in your

classroom or workplace what is the difference the spirit of that place have you noticed that sometimes when you go to certain supermarkets it's hard to keep to your budget this is to tell you that depending on a certain atmosphere some things Thrive While others die John 12: 24 says I tell you the truth unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies it remains alone but its death will produce many new kernels a plentiful Harvest of new lives in this verse Jesus is telling us that a condition must be created for certain

not change anything you have to intentionally change the atmosphere it is a spiritual warfare and you have to approach it spiritually you can also choose to unplug a lot of people claim they watch pornography because they have nothing else to do do so choose to be busy engage in activities that are worth your time make sure you keep a distance from social media a lot of times you may not even want to watch pornography but then because you are bored you decide to go on social media and then before you know it you are viewing

something that you shouldn't if you can't stay away from social media because you use it for business then make sure to block all the things that you know can trigger you when you are done blocking and cleaning you are ready for the final step day three the last day start filling your house with new habits this is the step you need to keep repeating every day of your life the journey does not end on the third day you need to constantly put away anything ungodly and put in the things that help you glorify God with

your life it is often said that you need 21 days of consistency for something to become inhabit I challenge you today to go 21 days without watching pornography instead pray for 21 days days fast for 21 days study the word of God for 21 days these are the right habits that will kill the seed of pornography for Life Matthew 12: 43- 45 says when an impure Spirit comes out of a person it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it then it says I will return to the house I left when it

arrives it finds the house unoccupied swept clean and put in order then it goes and takes with it seven other Spirits more wicked than itself and they go in and live there and the final condition of that person is worse than the first that is how it will be with this wicked generation now that you are taking control of your actions it is important to spend time doing something else you have swept your house make sure you occupy it with something else what does this mean most people have time that they schedule to watch pornography

or some just drift into it whatever the case is replace pornography with some something more edifying so if you schedule porn for every Tuesday at 700 p.m. make sure you fill that space with something else if you usually drift into it make sure you look for something better to drift into the goal is to form a new Godly habit that will take the place of pornography you can start writing Graphics designing public speaking or anything good that catches your interest don't do activities that you don't find exciting because when you are bored you might be

tempted to go back to pornography but if you SLE go back to changing the atmosphere above all let the word of God dwell richly in you Psalm 119 veres 9 to 10 says how can a young person stay on the path of Purity by living according to your word I seek you with all my heart do not let me stray from your commands it takes more than a day to form a new habit choose new habits and be committed to them Jesus has set you free all you need to do is to walk in this

freedom pray this prayer of faith with me heavenly father I thank you because you are always intentional about me you always create ways to help me you see how hard I struggle with pornography I confess to you this sin and I know I have overcome this struggle I also ask that you help me participate in these three days of activity that permanently ends my desires for pornography I am assured that I will be sustained and hidden in you that I will never go back to it in Jesus's name amen amen
