The Sway House Mobile Game is a Disaster

groups okay folks so I've been making like a conscious effort to not make as many videos about Tik Tok but dude people keep doing very silly things over there and I have no choice okay my hands are tied they're getting married okay little history lesson content houses were all the rage in 20 9 and 2020 if you're unfamiliar with the concept of a Content house basically a bunch of Tik tokers will either buy or rent a [ __ ] mansion and much to their neighbors dismay they would all uh live in that house together and

collaborate with each other to grow their followings together this idea was pioneered by people like O2L and Jake Paul with Team 10 and it sort of um became an industry Norm over the years in recent years though I think everybody can agree that the most popular content house was the hype house and there's so big now that they're actually getting their own reality TV show which is really cool and I'm very excited for that but around the same time as the hype house was gaining popularity there was another one that was like just just right

beneath it and this Tik Tok house was a little more crazy than the hype house okay is a little more edgy if you will and this of course was the sway house the sway house was kind of like if you had a a frat house but every frat boy was a famous tick tocker so somehow worse than a frat house you got Josh Richards you got Bryce Hall this guy [ __ ] that guy we all love that guy that guy and my personal favorite this guy and you know what this house was just awesome

okay it's so cool dude and it's the perfect example of capitalism breeding Innovation you know I mean look at all these guys there's so much variety which one do I even choose you know what I mean I'm [ __ ] kidding obviously uh these guys are weird and and they suck I'm also like not sure where they got the name sway like I don't know why it's called the sway house my best guess is that it's a reference to all the dances that they do that require them to sway their dicks back and forth but

that's just a theory okay don't quote me on that please I actually Googled like what the sway house means like what why is it called Sway and uh the only result that popped up was a question that asks what does the sway house stand for growth Brotherhood and and content creation this question is so funny cuz I'm sure they mean like what does the sway house stand for like what does sway stand for what does it mean but when it's this question paired with that answer this sounds like it's a [ __ ] line out

of Game of Thrones what does the sway house stand for growth Brotherhood and content [Music] creation nice cook I can make fun of these idiots all day and I feel like I probably will going forward in this video but I want to finally get into like the main topic of this video the reason I bring up the sway house is because I recently discovered that they just released their very own mobile game that's not new influencers have done this before but their mobile game is a little different usually when you hear uh your favorite Tik

tocker is making a mobile game you have to close Tik Tok which is just like um no thanks you have to close Tik Tok freaking go to the App Store search the freaking name of the game you download it you close the app store you got to wait for it to download and then then you can open it and finally play the game and that's too many steps I'm lazy and you know what the sway boys know that okay there's big brains behind those bangs so their mobile game is actually playable right on Tik Tok

wow kind of it's a game you play on the web browser that opens within Tik Tok when you click a link in someone's bio and this game was created by a company called Playco which makes instantly playable games for social platforms and their entire business model revolves around making games for apps that people can play on the apps without actually leaving the app could have explained that better but I think you get it and I honestly think we'll be seeing a lot more of these going forward because they just raised $100 million at a valuation

of $1 billion so that's [ __ ] crazy so what's the game right what sort of game would the sway house be proud to slap their name on maybe a fun little game where you have to balance a snap back on a huge puffy head of hair I don't know or maybe a game like the The Drowsy mini game in Pokémon Stadium when you have to uh press a when the pendulum hits the line in the middle but instead of the pendulum it's one of the sway boys wieners that they're always swaying back and forth

I don't know it's not that thank [ __ ] god their game is called sway stories and it's straight up just a blatant ripoff of episode and I know a thing or two about episode okay I've regrettably spent hundreds of dollars on that stupid ass wipe of a game so I think I'll be the judge okay I'll be the judge if if sway stories is any good and we're going to do a playthrough of this game but before we get into that I feel like it's important to watch the promotional videos that they've been posting

on the sway stories official Tik Tok account okay so this one we got this character is doing a sweet dance okay that's the sweet dance got it okay now this is the cool one okay that's the cool dance this is pretty [ __ ] cool now that now that I'm seeing it on the viewfinder here wow pretty riveting gameplay so far I also see there's another option up there called uh flirty so I'd assume that they're going to do the flirty dance next right what the [ __ ] where where do those boys come from

is this like a bloody mary type thing you do a cool dance two times in a row the sway boys will pop up behind you and do a sweet Dance come join us and they've posted some other videos promoting the game they got the characters to do that like Bella porch llama Tik Tock Trend thing but my personal favorite videos on this account are the ones where they got the actual sway boys to promote the game and I also feel like this is a good time to mention that there are only two sway Boys in

this game they can only snag two of them there's Josh Richards and this other guy Griffin Johnson and that's weird because a few minutes ago there were like six dudes in that photo where's that guy you know my everyone's favorite that guy where are the rest of my sway boys you're telling me there's only going to be two in the game there's no sway there's no sway that that can happen how the [ __ ] you going to do a sway house game with only two of the guys that's like if you went to see

a Backstreet Boys concert and only hoe and Kevin came out [ __ ] you where's Nick so I did a little digging I looked it up and I found out that uh the sway house just straight up doesn't exist anymore the Sway Boy split up like months ago there there just isn't a sway house anymore which is [ __ ] so funny dude because no [ __ ] that happened oh yeah I could have called that one man an entire house full of dudes who think they're the hottest guys in the world who strictly make

content about how they're the hottest guys in the world yeah no [ __ ] they [ __ ] broke up you know in cartoons when there's like a big like Kur fuffle a big a big fight and there's like a big puff of smoke with like fists and legs popping out that's what I think of when I think of like groups of guys like this no I have the biggest bang no way bro I do you know what dude there's only one way to settle this shotgun all right bro if you say so come join

us it's just so funny to think that like months ago when they agreed to to make this mobile game all of the sway boys were like still getting along and still living in the same house and when they all broke up I guess Josh and Griffin are like still contractually obligated to still partake and like provide their likeness for this mobile game so they just have to pretend they have to pretend that the sway house still exists for a brand deal and that's so absurd like sorry to do another boy band comparison but imagine like

One Direction after not posting anything for years they're just like hey guys new board game check it out new board game that'd be [ __ ] insane people would go crazy I mean okay that's actually not a good comparison because I'd [ __ ] buy that I'd buy that in a second but you get what I'm trying to say right and usually when influencers promote their weird ass cash grabs they're usually pretty disingenuous but this one is like these videos are on like a whole new level of insincerity it is painfully evident in the promotional

one way to settle this even with with the editing it still sounds so quiet like he's Whispering that line didn't even have the afterthought to be like maybe we'll do that again so people can [ __ ] hear what I'm saying you can't even see his mouth in the actual video so like just just record it and post right just resay the I don't know dude I don't know man I don't want to sway The public's opinion about these guys but be better at your job I guess there's only really one way to settle this

on a more serious note about this I uh I understand you know wanting to make money I get it these sway boys are young and I'm and I'm sure they have managers that are like we're going to put the sway house name and your name on every single thing we possibly can it doesn't matter what it is your name is going on it okay you need to diversify and make as much money as you possibly can okay we're going to make me Rich and we're going to make you rich and that's why stuff like this

happens so frequently and obviously I know some [ __ ] Tik tokers aren't going to release some like AAA big budget [ __ ] video game because obviously that would cost them a bunch of money and it would be a big Financial Risk for them to take on it'd be [ __ ] sick though like as much as I would love that I don't think that's ever going to happen like we'll never get an Addison Rayman game or [ __ ] super dilio sisters or a Nikita the dragon game and that sucks man but back

to the mobile game topic there have been some pretty successful uh influencer mobile games that have released like PewDiePie's tuber simulator or the h3h3 ball rider game and those are successful because they partnered with like a reputable developer who like gave a [ __ ] about what they were doing and they created something new and like exciting but on the other side of that it is very weird for Tik tokers to put out a video game about how sick they are like the whole game just revolves around how [ __ ] how much money they

have and how famous they are and how hot they are and how strong their hands are the [ __ ] like I wouldn't put out a [ __ ] PS5 game titled my mustache is [ __ ] awesome and sick and I'm strong as absolute [ __ ] as much as I'd like to I I just I wouldn't do that I have integrity that's that's actually the name of the sequel and as time goes on I think the main one of the main critiques anyway of the gaming industry is how Studios and developers are just

in it to make as much money as possible and since mobile games are way cheaper to make the risk level is almost non-existent and the probability that you will make a profit is much higher I think it's obvious to me this is just how I this is just what I think don't [ __ ] sue me but it's obvious that this Playco company doesn't give a [ __ ] about the art or the possibilities of the medium they just want to fart out some shitty knockoff of an already shitty game and then attach that to

the audience of a now defunct Tik Tock content house to gain a player base and [ __ ] suck them dry of all their $4 a week [ __ ] it's weird man I'm just [ __ ] sick of people like not giving a [ __ ] you know and these sway boys have shown that they don't give a [ __ ] like time and time again they do bad acting and lazy voice over work they throw huge parties during the pandemic because they don't care about anybody else but themselves and their own wants and

needs and they can't even be bothered to do any other dance than the sweet dance switch it up boys I don't know man in conclusion I guess sorry I'm talking so much but um in conclusion I understand diversifying to make money while you're able to I get that I'm guilty right like this internet stuff isn't going to last forever I know that but at the same time you can still diversify and like start new business ventures that aren't just a weird cash crab things that you're actually proud of and I don't want to like knock

anybody's hustle or anything like that but there's an interview with this Josh Richard's guy and he explains how he used to make money when he was doing Tik Tok live streams and it's pretty telling so uh let's watch a little clip of that there was like a live leaderboard back on musically 1 to 250 of the top contributors on the app so the people that spent the most money at the start of my life I would have my sister in the room beside me she would go through and follow and unfollow all these people and

like like 10 of their videos so then a lot of these fans that send money they're not famous they have like 30 40 200 followers right so they notice when someone follows them and I followed them so so I knew who to pay more attention to so I was always just like very strategic behind so I'm acquiring these customers customers customers is that smart sure is it weird yeah like that's just pretty telling that like it's they don't care about money man it's just about money for them and this may be super hypocritical cuz I

make a pretty good living making [ __ ] YouTube videos and you know merch and standup and all that [ __ ] but I just think as a Creator you have a certain responsibility especially if you have such a young audience like you you should be proud of the stuff you're putting out there right cuz you would think if these guys are actually proud of the mobile game they're putting out maybe they post about it like anywhere maybe they post about it on their Tik Tok page that has millions and millions of followers I don't
