Once Upon a Time in cabba Village there lived a man named Kevin everybody knew him everybody loved him he was kind he was generous if you had no food Kevin would feed you if your child could not go to school Kevin would pay the fees people clapped when they saw him children ran after him calling his name Kevin Kevin The Village Elders praised him May the gods bless you my son but Kevin had a secret a big secret every Sunday night when the moon was high Kevin left his big house he walked through the village
pass the sleeping houses pass the empty Market straight to the cemetery people saw him people whispered where is Kevin going they asked but whenever they asked him Kevin would smile a slow gentle smile I am going to pray for my mother he said and because he was a good man they believed him but he was lying when he reached the cemetery Kevin did not Kneel To Pray no he walked to one corner near his mother's grave he cleared the ground sweeping away the Dead Leaves then he did something strange something scary he opened a coffin
a coffin that was waiting there always waiting for him and then he climbed inside the wind blew the trees swayed the owls hooted but Kevin lay in the coffin eyes closed silent breathing slow from midnight till morning he slept inside the coffin every Sunday night every single week but why nobody knew nobody dared to ask ask you see Once Upon a Time Kevin was not always Rich no he was poor poverty followed him like a stubborn Shadow his father had died when he was still young leaving only his mother to take care of him and
his younger siblings life was hard food was never enough money was like a bird it flew away too fast too easily every morning Kevin woke up before the sun and carried a wooden tray fill with fruits he walked through the village shouting buy oranges buy bananas sweet mangoes for sale but people barely bought some would look at him and shake their heads others would chase him away and when the sun went down he would drag his tired legs home still holding the tray still holding his hunger he hated it he hated being poor his childhood
friends had big cars they had fine clothes clo they had soft hands that never touched hard work some of them would stop and give him money some would laugh Kevin still selling fruits a whole man like you they mocked his heart burned his blood boiled but two people never laugh at him two people never left him Kalo and Sammy his best friends every night after work they came to visit him they sat outside his small house talking laughing dreaming Kevin don't worry KH would say one day you will also be rich business is good Sammy
would add you just need the right opportunity but Kevin was tired that night as they sat under the Moonlight Kevin sighed a deep painful sigh I am tired he said his voice low I feel like killing myself he his friends looked at each other then Sammy leaned forward his voice barely above a whisper Kevin do you want money Kevin sat up straight his heart jumped his eyes widened yes yes I do he said quickly calloo and Sammy exchanged glances again then without another word they stood up follow us Callo said and just like that Kevin
followed them he did not know where they were going going he did not know what was waiting for him but he did not care all he wanted was money that night Sammy and Kalo LED Kevin away deep deep into the forest the trees stood tall like silent Watchers the wind whispered like ghosts telling Secrets Kevin's heart was racing but he did not stop he wanted money he wanted wealth he would do anything Carlo and Sammy walked fast Kevin followed behind his heart pounding the road was long the night was silent no one spoke finally they
reached a house but it was not just any house it was old it was strange the walls were cracked the door was broken the air smelled like something rotten Kevin shivered where are we Kalo knocked once the door creaked open by itself inside a man sat he wore a long red robe his face was hidden behind a mask his hands rested on his knees long and bony his voice deep slow heavy filled the room like a ghost why are you here the man asked Kevin swallowed his throat was dry his lips were dry his bones
felt dry I want money he said his voice was not loud but it was firm the old man nodded slowly money he repeated money does not come for free if you want money you must pay a price Kevin's stomach tightened what price he asked the old man leaned forward the air around him grew colder bring someone you love he said and you will be Rich Forever silence cold silence a silence so heavy it sat on Kevin's chest Like a Rock Callo and Sammy stepped back their faces were pale their hands were shaking no Kalo said
we can't do this this is madness Sammy added and before another word was spoken they turned they ran they did not look back but Kevin did not run he stood still he stared at the man his heart was loud in his ears his body was frozen bring someone you love bring some someone you love his mother's face flashed in his mind her warm smile her soft hands her tired eyes he thought about the big cars the fine clothes the people who laughed at him the hunger the shame he thought and thought and thought then he
made a trouble decision the night was quiet the moon was full the Stars washed from the sky Kevin walked home slowly his feet felt heavy his heart felt heavier as he entered the compound he saw her his mother sitting outside humming Softly She always sang at night a slow sweet song A Mother's Song she turned and smiled my son you're back Kevin nodded yes Mama she patted the stool beside her come and sit let's talk but Kevin did not sit he did not talk he just stared at her her wrinkle hands her tired face the
woman who had carried him in her womb the woman who had suffered for him he took a deep breath I cooked for you he said forcing a smile your favorite soup his mother's face lit up ah my son you always think of me she followed him inside sat down watched as he served the food the smell filled the room hot fresh delicious but inside the soup inside the thick Rich broth was something else something no one could see a sleeping herb strong powerful silent his mother took the first spoon then another then another she smiled
you cook well my son Kevin forced a smile then suddenly she yawned my son I feel so tired she murmured her eyes fluttered her hands grew weak the spoon dropped from her fingers she leaned back and then silence Kevin stared at her his heart pounded she was not dead not yet but she would not wake up quickly he moved he grabbed a wooden cart he lifted her gently carefully onto it the night was darker now the road was lonely The Village was asleep slowly he pushed the CAU through the small back paths through the thick
bushes past the Farms past the trees his hands trembled his legs shook but he did not stop he reached the forest the house the old man was waiting you have done well the man said Kevin did not speak he could not the old man sprinkled a black powder over his mother's body he chanted strange words the air turned cold the trees whispered the ground trembled a strong wind blew Kevin's mother took her last breath the old man turned to him it is done Kevin still did not speak he felt nothing the next morning he opened
his eyes but he was not in his small house number he was in a mansion his walls were golden his bed was soft his torn clothes were gone he wore fine garments his empty Pockets were full of money everything he ever wanted was now his but the woman who loved him the most was gone forever the news spread fast the villagers whispered the boy who Once Sold fruit now lived in a golden mansion Callo and Sammy came to see for themselves they walked through the Grand gate they looked around everything was shining the floors the
walls even the chairs servants moved up and down carrying trays of food perfume filled the air the smell of wealth Koo whistled Kevin this is unbelievable Sammy nodded where did all this come from Kevin smiled but inside his heart raced he could see it in their eyes the questions the suspicions then Sammy asked the question that made his chest tighten Kevin where is your mother Kevin smile faded Callo stepped forward how did you get all this money Kevin swallowed his friends were too smart if they found out the truth it was over he had to
stop them that evening he threw a feast the biggest Feast The Village had ever seen meat wine mus music laughter but his eyes were on Callo and Samy he filled their cups himself he poured the wine but inside he mixed something a strong sleeping potion Sammy drank first then Kalo minutes passed Sammy blinked his head dropped his body slumped forward Kalo tried to stand but his legs failed him Kevin what is this his voice was weak Kevin did not answer he only moved quickly he took a rope he wrapped it around Samy's neck he pulled
tight tighter strangling him to death Sammy gasped his body jerked then Stillness Kevin turned to Callo and started strangling him too but before he could finish boom boom boom a loud knock at the gate Kevin froze his heart pounded he Ted fast he dragged both bodies to a hidden chamber beneath the house the floor swallowed them leaving no Trace that night he carried Samy's lifeless body he dug a shallow grave behind the Mansion he buried him under the cold Earth but what Kevin did not know Kalo was not dead hours later in the darkness of
the chamber kalu's eyes opened his head achd his body was weak but he was alive slowly painfully he crawled he found a small opening with the last of his strength he dragged himself out and before the sun rose he fled the village Kevin had money plenty of it but money was like Palm wine it made him thirst for more one evening as he sat in his grand house staring at his Golden Plates he sighed I need need more money I want to use money to clean my mouth after eating he said to himself his greed
burned inside him like fire so he went back to the Oracle the old man sat in the dark room waiting as if he already knew Kevin would return Kevin did not waste time I want more the orle nodded slowly then give to the poor solve everyone's problem for 3 Days Kevin frowned give my money away the oracle's eyes glowed only for 3 days then you will have more than you ever imagined Kevin hesitated but greed pushed him forward he agreed the next morning he called his servants cook food for the villages give money to everyone
solve all their problems and so for 3 Days Kevin became a giver he fed the hungry he paid debts he gave gifts the villagers clapped they sang his name Kevin the generous one but after the third day Kevin sat in his mansion and looked around he had almost nothing left his pockets were light his house no longer felt golden he marched back to the Oracle I have done what you asked where is my reward the old man smiled a slow knowing smile now he said you must sleep in a coffin for 7 Days Kevin's heart
skipped a coffin he asked the Oracle nodded do it or lose everything in 24 hours Kevin's mouth was dry his hands were sweaty but he had come too far he could not turn back he closed his eyes took a deep breath and agreed and that was how the sleeping in the coffin at the cemetery began Kevin Then followed the old man to the cemetery where he had buried his mother there he stood at the center staring at the golden coffin it Shone under the dim light smooth and perfect the oracle's voice was deep slow heavy
do not scream do not talk no matter what happens Kevin swallowed his chest was tight his hands were sweaty but he had come too far slowly he stepped forward he touched the coffin it was colder than ice the lid creaked as he opened it he took a deep breath and lay inside the oracle's face disappeared the lid closed Darkness day one it was quiet so quiet he could hear his own heartbeat Kevin breathed slowly he told himself this is not hard it's just sleeping the hours passed he waited the night was long but he did
not move day two hunger his stomach growled his throat was dry he licked his lips he thought about food roasted meat fresh fruit hot soup but there was nothing just darkness day three something touched him a finger a hand cold software moving moving slowly across his arm his body stiffened his breath stopped he wanted to scream do not scream do not talk he squeezed his eyes shut day four The Whisper started software low too many voices at once Kevin Kevin they called his name from every corner from inside his own ears he covered his face
he could still hear them day five hands many hands grabbing his arms touching his legs pressing against his chest cold hands dry hands old hands fingers ran across his face over his lips into his hair he wanted to scream he wanted to fight do not scream do not talk tears slipped from his eyes day six he could not breathe the air was thick heavy he gasped his chest burned he felt like he was drowning his hands clawed at the coffin lid he wanted to push it open he wanted to run but he stayed tears rolled
down his cheeks day seven the lid creaked light the air rushed in Kevin gasped his body shook his clothes were wet with sweat he crawled out his legs were weak his hands trembled the oracle stood before him smiling you are now the richest man in town Kevin looked at him his lips cracked his face pale his bone sharp but he was alive and he was rich Kevin returned home like a king the villagers cheered the women danced the drummers played Kevin the richest man in town they called him his Mansion overflowed with food his hands
dripped with gold servants ran to serve him women sat at his feet Kevin laughed he drank he ate he lived but when night came the darkness followed him home the first night he lay in his soft bed covered in the finest silk he closed his eyes then Whispers Kevin Kevin he sat up quickly his heart pounded he looked around nothing he WP wiped his face it's nothing just my mind he lay back down then cold fingers touched his legs Kevin jumped up the room was empty the windows were shut the doors were locked but something
was there the second night he locked every door he lit every lamp he placed gold in his bed thinking maybe wealth would protect him but as soon as he closed his eyes Kevin the voices were loud you did this to us he gasped he covered his ears cold hands grabbed his neck he choked he kicked he fell off the bed but when he looked there was nothing the third night he did not sleep he sat on his throne his eyes wide his heart racing but the Shadows moved the hands reached for him The Whispers became
screams Kevin you did this to us you will never be free panicked he ran he ran out of the Mansion into the night his feet bare his robe dragging in the dust straight to the Oracle he fell at the old man's feet please help me he cried the Oracle laughed a deep slow Wicked laugh you wanted more now you have more Kevin shook his head his lips trembled please he begged please the Oracle looked at him he face dark his eyes empty go and never come back Kevin froze his body felt cold the air felt
heavy he looked at the Oracle One Last Time hoping praying but the old man turned away Kevin knew there was no Escape he left but his nightmares followed him and his secrets were about to get exposed by none other than his friend Kalo the one who had escaped from Kevin the day he was strangled alongside Samy the sun hung High over cabba village women carried baskets on their heads children played in the dust and Men sat under trees drinking Palm wine life was normal peaceful then a voice cut through the air like a knife come
come and see what Kevin has been doing heads turned eyes widened hands paused midw workk the voice was koo's the villagers gasped kaloo had returned but he was not the same his clothes hung Loosely on his body torn and dirty his skin clung to his bones his feet were cracked his eyes Wild dark filled with something no one could understand he stood in the Village Square Breathing heavily sweat dripping down his face follow me come and see the truth he shouted some hesitated some whispered but many followed down the Narrow Path past the big houses
past the silent Farms straight to the cemetery the air was still the leaves barely moved the sky once bright was now covered in Gray clouds then they saw him Kevin lying inside a coffin his body was cold his face was pale his lips moved but no words came out only strange Whispers software broken meaningless his eyes were wide open staring at nothing yet seeing everything the villagers gasped some stepped back some covered their mouths one old woman clutched her chest oh my God she cried they pulled him out his feet touched the Earth and then
he screamed louder than anything they had ever heard they want to kill me help me help me he clawed at his own skin as if trying to tear something off his body shook his legs wobbled but no one was touching him no one was chasing him yet he screamed his eyes darted left and right seeing things no one else could see he fell to the ground rolling hitting his head kicking his legs get away leave me alone he shrieked The Village herbalist an old man with deep lines on his face stepped forward he placed his
hand on Kevin's forehead his eyes closed his lips moved in silent prayer then he shook his head he is mad he cannot be saved the herbalist said his voice was low final his soul is cursed the villagers whispered some pied him some feared him Kevin's breathing was loud heavy desperate his hands trembled as he looked around his body jerking then he panicked no no they are coming they are here his voice cracked his body shook he turned and ran through the graves through the trees his bare feet hit the ground hard his Ro fla behind
him into the forest deeper deeper his screams echoed through the trees then silence the villagers waited minutes passed hours Kevin never returned that same day the villagers marched to his Mansion but it was gone the golden gates gone the big house gone the servants the treasures the gone only a dry empty land remained the villagers stood mouths open eyes wide it was as if Kevin's wealth had never existed only dust remained only silence that night the elders sat under the Moonlight they did not drink they did not laugh they only spoke in low voices and
