Fill The Gap - Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts

my subject is filling the Gap I am in Acts 9 vers 11- 16 I also have a text in 1 Peter chap 2 vers 4 through five that I believe will help to further articulate what it is that God has dropped in my spirit context and I always give context because I never want to take for granted that there are some people who are not just Bible scholars or grew up in church and so it's helpful for them to understand what's happening when we enter the text so when we enter the text Jesus has been

crucified resurrected he walked the Earth for 40 days and then he has ascended to heaven and his disciples are carrying out the Great Commission which is in Acts first and that is to go into all of the world to Judea and Samaria and into all of the Earth proclaiming the gospel that they would be witnesses to him and they are effective at doing that but they are upsetting Pharisees the Pharisees are the conservative sect of Judaism and they are upsetting the Pharisees because they are changing the way that people perceive and relate to God and

their mindset these followers of the way because we weren't called Christians that's something that kind of evolved these followers of the way are a problem and there's a man named Saul who was taken it upon himself to make sure along with other Pharisees that these followers of the way are persecuted so that the message of the Gospel cannot spread any further Saul is on his way to Damascus when he has an encounter with Jesus Saul who was on his way to persecute those who believed in Jesus has an encounter with Jesus on the way to

persecute those who believe in him you got to read this whole chapter it's a good time but he has this Encounter With Jesus the light shines on him he has a conversation with him and then he is blinded afterwards and Jesus leaves him with these words he says go into the city keep going in the direction that you were headed and just wait I'll tell you what to do next and in verse 11 it says so the Lord he finds I'm sorry the Lord finds a man named ananas and he says to anas I need

you to go and finish something that I started with Saul and so the Lord said to him him is an ananas arise and go to the street called straight and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus for behold he is praying so Saul has this moment on the road to Damascus he's left blind and he's led to this home and in that home he's just sitting there praying and in a vision while he has been praying he has seen a man named ananas coming in and putting his hand on him

so that he might receive sight ananiah says Lord is you crazy no he didn't but he said Lord get somebody else to do it because I have heard from many about this man how much he harms how much harm he has done to your Saints in Jerusalem and here he has Authority from the chief priest to bind all who call on your name you're asking me to walk into a situation where this man quite literally has the authority to kill me and Jesus says to him go for he is a chosen vessel of mine what

you heard about him isn't who he is anymore what you got was old news I'm doing a new thing in him and I'm telling you that you're going to have to trust my word over what you heard he's a chosen vessel of mine to Bear my name before Gentiles Kings and the children of Israel for I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name's sake let's go over to 1 Peter chapter 2 verses 4 through six 4- five in First Peter chap 2 verse4 says coming to him as to a living

Stone rejected indeed by men but chosen by God rejected indeed by men but chosen by God and precious it's not that I didn't get rejected by men it's just that me being rejected by men didn't change the fact that I was chosen and [Applause] precious you also as living stones are being built up a spiritual house a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Christ Jesus Spirit of the Living God I need you I need you the way that Paul needed you on a road to Damascus I need you the way

that Mary needed you when she heard that she would conceive by the Holy Spirit Lord I'm praying that your spirit would quite literally take over and take control I have an idea of what this moment can be I have an idea of what you've told me to say but only the spirit knows for certain and so spirit I ask that you would have your way and God I pray that you would open hearts that they would receive only what is meant for them anything that is not for them that it would pass them but that

which you are calling them to God let it land in their spirit with such force and such Clarity that there is no denying that you hear them and that you heard them God let this word spread all over the Earth until all have seen and all have heard the work that you were yet doing in this generation in this community and I thank you God that all we have to do is say yes because it's what you already want to do so we say yes to your will in Jesus name I pray amen amen okay

um I'm going I'm going so y'all can go I know y'all ready to go let's go cuz we got to get out of here okay here we go when I was growing up I won't say who but someone once told me after telling me all of the things about this particular incident they told me all of these things that I did wrong and how I needed to do right and what doing right B writing they told me just this huge lecture on what to do better next time and how to do right and then in

closing when having this conversation they said the most peculiar thing I have ever heard and this is how you know that it is somebody from the country because they said and if you're going to do wrong do wrong right and like the fact that y'all understood what that meant tells me a lot about your background if you're going to do wrong do wrong right now here I am confused cuz you just told me to do right but now you've left me with a cliffhanger because what does it mean to do wrong right it's one thing

to be loud and wrong but sometimes you need to be quiet and wrong as how I took it like don't be sloppy don't be messy like if you going to do it do it with the right people and and I knew it wasn't just the the most righteous dis information now this is not me preaching at all I'm just telling you that someone once told me that if you're going to do wrong do wrong right and that was confusing for me and and I tried to do wrong right for a little bit but then I

gave up and I said you might as well do right because you're still doing wrong wrong and you're supposed to be doing wrong right and now you confused you might as well just do right what I was not prepared for though was this possibility that you can do right and still be wrong nobody prepared me for that reality I wanted to be a plant mom and I am a plant mom now but when I first started being a plant Mom I thought you got to water the plant and I I don't know if I thought

the plant was dehydrated but I just kept watering the plant and watering the plant and then I finally called the nurse where I got the plant I said the plant's dying I don't know what's happening I've been watering the plant they said how often do you water I said I mean every day so y'all know about plants and y'all know how to do wrong right okay evidently you can do right but still be wrong because you are supposed to water the plant but you don't have to water it every single day some plants have a

different cycle they have different needs and so you can do something that you legitimately think is right only to find out it's wrong my entrepreneurs know that you can start off thinking I really need an LLC and then you continue down journey and you realize what I really should have had was an S corp or a C Corp because I thought I was doing right but I ended up doing right wrong there's a lot of research right now about women going through menopause and how they spent so much time talking to women about cardio cardio

and aerobic exercises and they've marketed so much about aerobic exercises and cardio not telling women that what you really need to do is focus on strength training because as your body gets older you begin to lose of your strength and so you were doing right in doing the cardio but you were doing right wrong this happens to us often where we do right wrong I'm thinking about in Peter's case when Jesus says that I am going to be crucified and resurrected and I'll be back in three days and Peter pulls him to the side and

he says to him I rebuke you Jesus that'll never happen to you and he thinks he's doing the right thing as a disciple but Jesus says I rebuke you get thee behind me Satan he calls Peter Satan but Peter thought he was doing the right thing he was just wrong it's one thing to do right and not know it's wrong but it's another to believe something is right and then you find out it's wrong can we talk a little bit about these moments where what we're doing we believe is right like I really believe that

I'm helping you but then I find out that I'm actually controlling you this is the paradoxy of what happens in relationships is that you have one person who fully believes that what they're offering they fully believe that they're helping that they're serving and yet what they soon discover with time and experience is that what I believed was right was actually wrong you trust someone and you start planning for your retirement and you believe that you're doing the right thing I'm being responsible but what do you do when something you believe actually turns out to be

something that is wrong finding out that your best something that you believed was your actual best and you find out actually I will was wrong we talk a lot about these moments where we have been wronged I I bet you I could really turn up in here about the people who did us wrong but real transformation is not as transforming the our minds about how they did us it's us transforming the way that we show up because we found out that something that we thought was right was actually wrong and I don't necessarily mean us

just changing the way that we have sinned and and changing those things that we knew were wrong I'm talking about the things that we do sometimes in the name of God things that we do because we feel like we're supporting God only to find out we are wrong I think about this a lot even as I rais my children because I know that I am giving them my best and yet I also know that there is a reality that one day they may get older and say to me Mom there were some areas in I

in my life that you were giving me your best but your best actually wasn't good enough I needed something different and if I'm not careful I'll become defensive and say well that was just my best and you got to deal with it instead of saying tell me more about how my best turned into your wrong because at the end of the day I'm called to love you on your level and I want to understand what best looks like for you because your intentions and your impact don't always match and if your intentions don't match your

impact then you have to be willing to interrogate how is my impact separating from my intention when I was thinking about this text I was thinking about these moments where David is constantly asking God shall I go up shall I go up because David wanted to be right in battle he didn't assume that because he won the last battle that he would automatically step into the next battle with Victory and just because he knows how to fight doesn't mean that every fight is assigned to his name and so he asked the question shall I go

up because I don't want to do the wrong right I want to make sure that I am doing right that I am aligned perfectly with your will with your plan for this particular season and while he was great in battle he was terrible in the palace because sometimes when we do the right thing in one area it turns out to be the wrong thing in the other I wish I could say that better he was great as a warrior but when he was home from Battle he was not that great of a friend sometimes I

can be right I can do well as a leader but I struggle in the area of being a partner sometimes I can do right as it relates to being on the job but then I struggle as it relates to being a parent sometimes you can do right in one area but end up wrong in the other area so what is it that we do this is why we pray give us this day our daily bread because I may not be able to check every box but if I can say I did what was right today

according to God's Will and God's plan God give me the rest recipe for today's bread God give me the recipe for for today's decisions because at the end of the day I don't want to show up in my definition of right I want to show up in [Applause] yours I imagine that when we find Paul on the road to Damascus that he is experiencing a similar situation and that he believed what he was doing was right we must understand that Saul before he became Paul Saul and Paul Saul was not just outdoing wrong he thought

that he was doing something for God he thought that he was upholding and protecting Mosaic law he thought that he was upholding piety in doing something for God and so when he has this encounter on the road to Damascus he learns for the very first time that something that he was doing with all of his heart and all of his commitment and all of his power in the name of God was something that God did not even want from him at all oh that's deep because if we are not constantly checking in with God we

may miss that something that God did want from H want from us in one season he no longer wants from us in this season sometimes we get caught up on auto and we say God you gave me the instructions 10 years ago and I'm going to run with those instructions now not realizing that God has transitioned his expression and what worked 10 years ago doesn't work for what he's doing now and so when I pray give me this day my daily bread it's because I don't want to miss God I don't want to be living

off of yesterday's bread I don't want to be living off of yesterday's instructions I don't want to be put I got a limited time and a limited amount of power I don't want to be putting it into what God used to do God if I'm still here and I still have power help me to understand what you want me to do in this season of my life maybe I'm not called to be a mentor maybe I need to be mentored in this season maybe I'm not supposed to be in the front maybe I'm supposed to

be following I need to understand what do you need me to do today because I don't want you to have to stop me in my tracks and pull me back and make me sit out of the game because I didn't check in with you I don't know who you are but I hear God saying you better check yourself before you wreck yourself since y'all know country sayans let me tell it to you like that you got to check yourself God am I still in your will God am I still doing what you want me to

do in this season God am I still align with your purposes and your ways and your will because I don't want to take for granted yesterday's Grace when your mercies are new every day God help me to understand you're talking about being postured to Pivot at any any given moment I want God to know if you call an audible I can turn the other direction if you tell me to be still I can be still I'm not running so fast that I cannot be controlled I am not my own Soldier I am a soldier in

the army of the Lord I'm move at his command I sit at his command I do what he asked me to do and I have to check in with him I have to check in with him this is not religion this is relationship if if you want religion you going to have to go somewhere else I'm talking about relationship I'm talking about where you have to get on your knees where you have to ask God how can I serve this family today how can I love this man today how can I take care of these

children today it's more than putting food on the table I want them to know the bread of life it's more than a job I want to be a light in that job God give me a sensitivity God give me a wisdom I have a revelation about who you are God give me an opportunity to release it God help me to be your hands and feet wherever I [Applause] go I got to check in I got to check in the destiny that's on your life is too powerful for you to take off on autopilot I don't

know who you are but I feel like we going to go somewhere today I hear God saying that what I've placed on the inside of you is too great for you to take off at your own Rhythm I hear God saying that if I brought you to it you going to have to stick with me to get through it you going to have to check in with me I am your partner you don't have a business partner I am your business partner you don't have a partner I am your partner you don't need a best

friend I'm going to be your best friend before you pick up the phone and ask somebody what you should do I dare you to get on your knees and ask me what you want me to do ask me how you're supposed to move ask me how you're supposed to speak God says I got you but you got to hang on to me I got you but you got to make sure you stay connected with me cuz what I'm going to do is going to be so different than anything that has ever been done before that

they will attack it before they respect it they will attack it before they understand it I hear God saying stay with me in the attack I'm about to Pivot it's just me and you right now but in a minute it's going to make sense it's just me and you right now but when I get finished they'll all understand that I put you on the Cutting Edge it was never going to make sense to anybody else check in with me we are the head and not the tail come on church we are the head and not

the tail if we don't check in with God the world will outrun us but we are the head and not the tail we got to check in with God who am I supposed to be in this city who am I supposed to be in this family give me wisdom give me Insight give me strategy every day for every day I don't have a 5-year plan I have a 24-hour plan God what you want me to do today I don't have a 10e plan cuz I don't know what you going to do in 10 years you

keep moving on me so fast every time I think I find my footing I slip into another rail so God I [Music] [Applause] need I feel this prophetically that this is going to be the year where you break out out this is going to be the year where you break out of the limiting beliefs and thinking that keeps you from laying hold of what God is doing I this isn't in my notes but I hear God saying that you're trying to make God fit within the confines of what you believe and I hear God saying

no no no you going to have to change what you believe in order to step into what I'm doing you believe that there were limits you believe that there were laws but what I'm doing right now there is no law for what I'm doing right now is nothing but the spirit what I'm doing right now is nothing but by his power what I'm doing right now is but nothing by his [Music] spirit and what Paul learns on this road to Damascus is not just conviction the Lord doesn't just convict him on the road to Damascus

he gives him a [Applause] revelation conviction is one of those things you can kind of like I won't say shrug off cuz y'all super saved but you know conviction is like what's that conviction but Revelation cannot be ignored Revelation cannot be denied he gives Paul a revelation that changes what he believes oh sometimes we're jealous of someone who God sent to be a revelation for this season of Our Lives God wanted to reveal to you that it doesn't matter where you come from God wanted to reveal to you that he is no respector of person

but because we're so jealous we miss the Revelation but if you get a revelation it'll change what you believe and you will start thinking differently about what is possible when you partner with God when you get a revelation this Revelation changes him immediately and when Jesus reveals himself to you it should change what you believe I'm not talking about when you join a church or when you learn scriptures I mean when when you really get a revelation of who Jesus is it should change what you [Applause] believe oh that's so good to me Jesus comes

up to a man lay and he says wil thou be made whole and he said I'd like to be but every time the water gets turned up no one is able to take me over there he believed that the only way he could be made whole was for someone to carry him over to the pool but when you get a revelation of who Jesus is it changes what you believe oh I'm going to preach today it changes what you believe he goes no no no will thou be made whole because what you believe and what

I can do are two different things he then tells that man just pick up your bed and walk I didn't believe I could pick up my bed and walk but I got a revelation from Jesus and when I got a revelation from Jesus it changed what I believe I thought I needed somebody to carry me but now I see I can carry myself it changed what I believe okay the woman with the issue of blood thinks that she touched the Hem of His Garment and that's what healed her he goes no no no I got

to find that woman who touched me who touched me who touched me who touched me why does Jesus go out of his way to find out who touched him because he wanted the woman to know it was not the touch that healed I don't want you to believe that it was the touch I want you to know that it was your faith that made you well because when you get a revelation of Jesus it ought to change what you believe I don't want you to believe that you did it I want you to know that

there was something working on the inside of you that I gave you the gift of faith that made you do it it wasn't the degree that got you the job it was your determination that I put on the inside of you it wasn't the looks that got you the man it was the heart that I put inside of you I want to change what you believe if you really get a revelation from Jesus it'll change what you believe some of you have the beliefs that were deposited in you from people around you and you want

God to change your beliefs but I hear God saying all you need to ask me for is a revelation don't do the working trying to you got affirmation cards and those are beautiful and you quoting stuff to yourself I am this I am that and that's beautiful you need that sometimes but what you need deeper than that is a real revelation of who God is because if you get a revelation of who God is those words will have power that backs them up I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus I am fearfully and

wonderfully made how do I know this because I got a revelation that he takes beauty that he takes ashes and turns them into Beauty I got a revelation that my God will supply all of my needs I got a revelation that he takes the foolish things of the word I saw it with my own eyes that's why we need your testimony because your testimony is how Jesus is revealed to other people your testimony is how Jesus is revealed to other people and when someone else catches your Revelation it changes what they believe is possible through

Jesus I thought Jesus was just coming to church and being better than other people no no no Jesus will change your name Jesus will change how you feel Jesus will take depression and stomp it over its head Jesus Will Jam the cun Jesus will give you wisdom on raising the family Jesus will help you build a business without the finances Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus I can't tell you enough about ad Jesus Jesus Jesus will take the doctor's report and turn it upside down Jesus Jesus Jesus will have you cancer and still have joy Jesus I

got a revelation that death is not the end because of Jesus Jesus told me something that the world couldn't take away from me they took my house but they didn't take my Jesus they took my car but they didn't take my Jesus Jesus and I know him to keep you I know him to help you I know him to grow you up I know him to heal your broken heart I know him to give you wisdom on the spot I know him to help you graduate I know him to help you go back to school

I know him to help you raise a family I know him to help you heal a marriage I know how to help it I know he'll help you get shame off of you I know him to help you forgive I know him I know him I know him I may not know every script but I know him I may not know every church but I know him I may not know everything about everything but one thing I do know is him I can't explain it to the atheist I may not break it down for the

agnostic but I know him for myself I know him I know him I know him I know him I thank God I know him because my sin should have kept me from knowing him but thanks be unto Jesus who allowed me access I know him I know his thoughts I know his ways I know his character I know his heart I know his conviction I know his power I know him for [Applause] myself I know him for myself that's why the devil got to let me go because I know I'm for myself that's why no

weapon formed against me can make me give up on who God says I am cuz I know I'm for myself [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so that's why I sing here's my worship all of my worship cuz I know what he does with My Worship I seen them take my Worship in the middle of depression and give me joy I seen them take my worship and turn it into a child that got saved I know him to take my worship and build a church I know him to take my worship and change the doctor's report [Music] [Applause]

[Music] [Applause] I hope you know him I hope you get to know them I hope you really get to know them even if you can't do it right here cuz it feels awkward and you're in a room full of people I just want you to know that people who are loud wasn't always loud but they met suround and knew him and once they got a chance to know him they couldn't do without him once they got a chance to know him they couldn't politic they couldn't beat C cuz he did too much for them to

act like they don't know what they know what they [Music] know okay [Applause] y'all calm down you scaring the visitors y'all scaring the visitors we sorry we don't really know how to act I told y'all earlier David said I can become even more undignified than this I got notes but I'm going to give you about 10 seconds of undignified nasty I know one praise I need you to remind your circumstance that you know something somebody who knows somebody who told death where is your sin who told hell where is your Victory devil I rebuke you

not in my own name but I know somebody makeing an intercession on my [Music] behalf I know somebody who can help me get out of this mess I know somebody who can break the chains over my life life I know somebody who can set me free depression I rebuke you in the name of Jesus you in the right room cuz where two or three are gathered in his name somebody might end up knowing [Music] something okay [Applause] you still got time to know him you still got time to know him y'all know I want to

be a church mother give me about 5 Seconds at church mother I want you to know that you still got time to know him if you still hear and you still breathing I hear God saying you still got time to know him I know you know grief but I want you to know you still got time to know him God says I'll show you how all things work together for your good if you would just know me I'll show you how to take that thing that you thought was a thorn in your side and I'll

show you that my strength is made perfect in your weakness but you got to know me you can't flirt with me you got to know me all 2025 you got to know who your God is you got to know what's working on your behalf [Applause] when I when I read Romans [Applause] 8:38 I read it with a fresh lens you all know this scripture Paul says for I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth nor any other creature shall

be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our lord go back to Romans 38 I used to think that the power was in the fact that nothing could separate us but I see the actual power is in that fourth word persuaded Paul wrote this Paul the fair phese wrote this the man who believed that you could easily be separated from the love of God that your sin could separate you that you eating on the wrong day could separate you that you working that you could easily be separated from

the love of God he says for I have been [Applause] persuaded Jesus changed his [Music] [Applause] mind Jesus Chang changed his mind I hear Jesus saying I want to change your mind I'm going to persuade you by the way my love just keeps showing up I'mma persuade you I'mma change your mind if you just lean into this this is a declaration this is an admittance Paul the Pharisees says for I have been persuaded that this isn't just the law that can separate you that death can't do it life can't do it Angels can't do it

principalities no powers no things no things to nothing can separate you Paul who went to prison felt the love of God even in prison Paul who was Shipwrecked saw the love of God even in being Shipwrecked we're not talking about somebody who discovered the love of God when things were easy David said if I make my bed in hell you'll be there with me you mean nothing can separate me all this time I believed I could be separated but now I believe differently and all of this began on a road to Damascus God showed me

that he had to fill the gaps and what Paul believed before he could use Paul to fill the gaps in his [Applause] plans hear me God has a plan for Paul's life a strategy for his life but he cannot put Paul in that strategy with those belief systems that he possesses when I study scripture I'm looking at the character of God what I understand about the character of God in this text is that there are some positions you cannot occupy until you believe [Applause] differently you can't feel the gaps of his plan for your life

until you allow him to feel the gaps in your life and so he has an encounter with Paul on the road to Damascus but before he puts him in position he goes we got to change what you believe and then he makes him blind because I don't need you distracted while I'm changing your [Applause] beliefs I need you to be more sensitive and more aware than you have ever been so I changed your sensing so all you could do was lean in to what happened to me replaying I imagine replaying over and over again in

his head is this encounter he had with Jesus I don't want anything diluting this encounter he makes sure that only certain people have access to him he doesn't just send anybody to him on one hand we have Paul praying blind but more aware than he has ever been [Applause] waiting on the Lord to tell him what to do next I spent a LIF time persecuting you but now I can't kick against the goats so I'm just sitting here praying God what do I do from here I thought I was right but I actually been wrong

can you imagine the humility in this revelation God I don't know where to go from here I don't know what to do next and while he's sitting there praying God's gone to ananas and he says ananas I got him in a waiting season but I'm actually going to send you to bring him out of the waiting season oh I wish I could really break this down real good I want you to understand that as much as you may not trust people as much as you feel like you may have to do things on your own

that God will send people who have Divine insight and wisdom into how he is changing and touching you in this season of your life he goes to anonas because he has a gap to fill and he tells ananas I need you to fill in the Gap Paul is missing some information Paul needs to understand his next step and I want you to fill in the gap of this plan and he says ananas over to Paul and when he sends ananas over to Paul he gives ananas this reality that what he is going to do through

Paul's life and the landscape of what he's doing in the Earth is going to fill in the gap between the Jews and the Gentiles I wish if I had about 10 more minutes take your time oh gosh oh gosh Jesus is on a mission to make sure that the gospel spreads throughout all the Earth and because most of his disciples are Jews they are focusing exclusively on the Jews the lost sheep of Israel they don't realize that he has a plan for even Gentiles to be included and he's going to use Paul the most Jewish

Jew there ever was to go after the Gentiles because he wants them to understand that I will send someone who was once against you to include you as my adopted he's got a gap he wants to feel this is not about church history I want you to understand that the same God who had a gap to F then has a gap to fill today and I want you to understand that it is your responsibility to make sure that you are opening yourself up to the beliefs that are limiting you from what God wants to do

do in your life so that the gaps in this world can be filled filling the Gap fill in the Gap if I could do cliff notes about what he says to ananas he goes I need you to fill in the gap for his knowledge so that he can fill in the Gap here it's a chain reaction it's a Chain Reaction he fills in the Gap in his beliefs and then he sends someone to fill in the Gap in what he's to do next and then he goes to fill in the gap for the Gentiles that

is what happened when we as a collective take our position when we as a collective say you know what God I'm going to surrender I'm going to humble myself I'm going to allow your Revelation to become my outward expression because I don't know what Gap I'm called to f and when we see Paul do this and he sees ananas come to him it highlighted to me what I see in First Peter chapter 2 verse 4-5 I'm closing out we finish I need you to understand that when it says coming to him this is the posture

that we are to come to him as to a living Stone rejected indeed by men he was the first stone that was rejected by men but chosen by God and precious it goes on it says you also you are living stones are being built up a spiritual house when you are in relationship with the Lord you were being built up to be a spiritual house oh you are not just is here to check a box you are here to be built up as a spiritual house do you understand that in building you up as a

spiritual house you find yourself you show yourself worthy of where God wants to position you in his plan oh I wish I could say this real good a holy priesthood we want to talk about Jesus filling in the gap where we should have been on the cross Jesus filled in the Gap when we call him the high priest we call him the high priest because he represents the people to God and God to the people that is the role of the priest but that is not just the role of Jesus as priest that is your

become better at identifying gaps than filling them you can see them but can you feel them can you let me build you up can you let me change what you believe can you let me change the way you think so that you can feel the Gap we're supposed to be doing work until Jesus comes not waiting for Jesus to come we got work to do Church it doesn't matter what the stats say it doesn't matter what social media says we as Believers we as the church is the body of Christ we got gaps to fill

and we cannot F them staying within our limited beliefs and we cannot build them without offering ourselves up as living sacrifices this year you have to identify the gaps in what you believe anytime God says something to you anytime you read something in scripture about who God is that doesn't quite click for you you don't quite understand it there's a gap there I want you to hone in on that I want you to pray into that I want you to ask the spirit of God to fill that gap for you can I tell you about

our Gap filling God Scripture says that we don't always pray what we ought to pray but when we have Jesus the spirit makes intercession on our behalf I hear God saying I'm not just going to let you be out here by yourself I'm going to make sure I feel the Gap in the area where you don't know enough can I tell you about our Gap filling God our Gap filling God says don't worry about what you going to wear don't worry about what you going to eat I'm going to take care of all of those

gaps because I'm a gap filling God I don't know who you are but before you leave I want you to understand that you serve a God who fills in the Gap that when Adam and Eve should have been dead in the garden that he took an animal instead and slay the animal because I want you to understand that I can fill in the gap of where your sin ought to be and if you serve a God who fills in the Gap and you are Made In His Image then you ought to be filling a gap

too where there's lack in your community where there is no hope where there is no patience where there is no Grace where there is no Integrity where there is no virtue that's your Gap to fill this is my Gap this is my Gap whether I'm over here on Keith Boulevard or I'm at home with my children cuz we don't just fill gaps for performance and we don't just fill gaps for an audience we fill gaps as a lifestyle as an identity wherever there's a gap I'm called to fill it because I serve a gap filling
