have you ever seen those viral animated YouTube videos and thought how are they made well the secret is these aren't smooth Pixar style animations instead they are simple 2D animations where characters and objects move using basic key frames inside video editing software and guess what you can easily create these videos too in this video I'll walk you through every step of the process from choosing a viral video title writing a script generating a voice over animating characters with key frames editing and even designing a clickable thumbnail to maximize views and trust me even if you're
a complete beginner or someone looking to improve you'll learn exactly how to make engaging content that has the potential to go viral I'm also working in this Niche and one of my videos got a good number of views at the end of this video I'll share my channel results and discuss whether this Niche is a good choice for your first YouTube faceless Channel or not so make sure to stick around till the end in this Niche the title is everything since most of the views come from YouTube's browse feature not search results we don't need
to focus on keywords for SEO instead the goal is to create a title that instantly grabs attention and makes people want to click for example if you look into my channel most viewers are coming from the browse feature which is around 68% and 20% from suggested videos which means YouTube is pushing my videos itself if you look at successful videos in this Niche they all follow a proven pattern the formula is simple but effective we take an animal and highlight the aspects of its life in a funny way triggering curiosity people love learning about the
struggles of animals they don't usually think about now let's go through the exact steps I use to find a strong title idea step one checking existing videos first I search why it sucks to be born as an animal for different animals if there's no video on a specific animal that's a good sign it means we could be the first to cover it step two analyzing performance of existing videos if I find a video already made I check views versus Channel size if a video has a lot of views but the channel has low subscribers it
means the topic is performing well due to browse traffic not the creators fan base that's exactly what we want step three deciding on our title after analyzing multiple options we pick the best one for this tutorial I've chosen a jackal since this topic hasn't been covered much and has potential for high engagement once we have our title we're ready for the next step writing the script in a way that keeps viewers engaged till the end the first step in writing a strong script is to study successful videos in the same Niche this helps us understand
what works and how we can improve it to do this Find a well-performing video in our Niche copy and paste the script into chat GPT and ask it to analyze once we get insights we can use them to write an even better script for our Jackal video after analyzing competitor scripts we now ask chat GPT to generate a script prompt that follows the same successful style The Prompt should include the Animals full life Journey from birth to death humor to make the story engaging real life facts woven into a funny narrative relatable elements to keep
the audience invested at this point you can pause the video and take a screenshot of this prompt and just replace the animal name now we'll use this prompt to generate a rough script and then improve it creatively while chat GPT provides a great starting point we don't fully rely on AI instead we add original creative scenes that make the story unique inject funny comparisons to human life include real animal behavior facts in a relatable humorous way once your script is ready copy the script into Google Docs or any other word software after pasting the script
remove any unnecessary headings because we need this script to generate voice over for the video now that we have our script ready the next step is to create the voiceover the voiceover is crucial because it sets the tone of the video and keeps the audience engaged for this Niche we need need a voice that sounds natural and conversational not robotic or overly dramatic there are multiple tools you can use to generate voiceovers if you're looking for a free option you can use clipchamp or any preferred textto speech generator however if you want the best quality
AI voice then 11 Labs is the Top Choice it provides realistic voices that feel natural and engaging making it perfect for this type of content in this Niche different creators use different voices for example bound uses James and I use Mark to find a good voice for your channel head over to 11lbs voice library and browse through their huge collection of voices select one that matches your video's tone something that feels engaging clear and natural if you think you have a good voice you can also clone your own voice on 11 Labs I've cloned my
voice and I use it across all my channels in fact my cloned voice is publicly available and so far 5,800 users have used it it has generated over 49 million characters in speech I've earned 1,239 just from people using my voice this is a great way to make passive income you only need to clone your voice once and every time someone uses it you earn extra money if you're interested in using my voice for your own projects click the link in the description once you've decided on The Voice follow these steps to generate your voice
over go to to the 11 Labs homepage and click on Studio select create an audiobook upload your script file choose your selected voice character make any adjustments if needed click create and wait for 11 labs to process the voice over once it's done click export and download the final voiceover file that's it now we have a professional quality voiceover ready for our video first open Premiere Pro or any video editing software you prefer since I'm comfortable using Premiere Pro I'll be demonstrating the process here but the same steps can be followed in other software as
well create a new sequence with 1920 to 1080 resolution for YouTube videos import your voiceover file into the timeline now that we have the base setup we need to create characters for our animation step one drawing The Jackal character find a reference image search Jackal drawing on Google choose a side pose image open canva and create a new design set it to 1920 to 1080 upload the selected Jackal image now trace the character select the marker tool set the color to Black adjust the weight to 10 and set transparency to 100 carefully outline the entire
Jackal take your time to make it look clean and defined once done delete the original image and download the outlined version step two coloring The Jackal now open photo p and upload the outline Jackal image select the paint bucket tool set tolerance to 100 check sample all layers choose colors for different areas and fill in the character download the colored image as PNG remove the background using remove.bg now repeat this process for all characters needed in the script we also need to create a background as well open photo p and select the brush tool select
the color black set smooth to 100 and set the brush size to 40 pixels draw the surface where the Jackal will stand it could be grass dirt or any environment that fits the scene change the color of the surface for example green for grass select the paint bucket tool and click on the surface to fill in the color export the background as a PNG file if you want to add extra details like trees rocks or Sky you can use canva to place additional elements before exporting the final background now that all our assets characters and
background are ready it's time to animate them using key frames since we are working with static character images we will create a walking effect by moving the character frame by frame using position key frames here's how you do it first import The Jackal character PNG into Premiere Pro and place it on the timeline above the background layer open the effects panel and search for basic 3D apply the basic 3d effect to the Jackal layer in the effect controls panel find the swivel option and set its value to 180 now let's animate the actual movement select
the Jackal layer and open the position controls in the effect controls panel place the playhead at the starting point where the Jackal will begin walking press shift plus right arrow key to move a few frames forward adjust the position value slightly to move the Jackal to the right repeat this process press shift plus right arrow key move the Jackal slightly forward set a new key frame frame continue until the Jackal walks across the frame by doing this frame by frame we create the illusion of walking even though the character is just shifting position to make
the animation more Dynamic we can add a zoom effect that highlights The Jackal During certain moments in the video Nest The Jackal and background layers rightclick the selected layers and choose Nest select the nested sequence and go to the scale settings in the effect controls panel increase the scale value lightly to zoom in on the character place a cut on the timeline at the point where you want the zoom in to start move forward a few frames and increase the scale value again Place Another cut a few frames later and reset the scale back to
the original value this creates a smooth zoom in and zoom out effect making the animation feel more engaging now that you've learned how to animate walking and zoom effects these two techniques will be the most important Tools in your editing workflow you'll be using them frequently in almost every scene to make the animation feel more Dynamic and engaging unfortunately I can't show you the entire video editing process here because it would take too much time but the next steps are straightforward now I'll go ahead and add more characters and elements according to my script once
all the elements are in place we will have a fully animated video that is ready for final touches and Export here is the final result at 4 weeks old you leave the den for the first time the outside world is big scary and full of things that want to eat you but your biggest problem right now food Jackal parents bring their pups pre-wed meat because fresh food is too valuable to waste if your parents are good Hunters you might get something decent if not well hope you enjoy whatever leftovers they scavenge from lion kills now
let's move on to the next step thumbnail creation which is one of the most important factors in getting people to click on your video in this Niche thumb Nails follow a very minimalistic style if you look at popular videos you'll notice they usually feature the selected animal as the main visual a short bold text that supports the video title for our Jackal video we will create a thumbnail that follows the same format to get a jackal image that fits the style I'll use chat gpt's AI image generator I'll describe the jackal's look and pose to
generate a character that fits well in the thumbnail after trying a few different versions I'll pick the one that looks best once I have the final character it's time to bring it into canva upload the Jackal character and place it in the frame remove the background so that only the Jackal remains now add the text next to the Jackal The text should be short and bold easy to read matching the video title that's it now we have a simple yet effective thumbnail that matches the nich's style and attracts clicks if you struggle with designing thumbnails
there's a tool that can generate viral thumbnails instantly it's called pixels with pixels you can create thumbnails from prompts just describe what you need create thumbnails from video links let AI generate one for you to try it out click the link in the description and use the code u50 for 50% off on any monthly plan at the beginning of this video I promise to share my channel results in this Niche so here they are I started this channel on December 5th 2024 and uploaded nine videos so far the channel has 91.7kg 3.5k watch hours and
966 subscribers now the big question should you start a channel in this Niche here's the reality if this is your first ever YouTube channel this Niche will be very difficult to succeed in the competition is high and getting initial traction requires patience quality content and understanding how YouTube's recommendation system works however if this is your third or fourth Channel then you should definitely try it out you already have experience with YouTube automation thumbnail design script writing and analytics that experience will help you stand out and grow faster in this Niche so if you're just starting
I recommend trying a slightly easier Niche first and then experimenting with this one once you've built some momentum if you found this tutorial helpful let me know in the comments and if you want to know how to make a YouTube channel in a health and fitness Niche then watch this video
