5 TRUE Disturbing Home Alone Horror stories

[Music] [Music] this happened about 3 years ago when I was still living with my parents we move into a new house at the end of 2019 just before the lockdown after we move in a lot of strange things started happening one night around 700 p. m. my mom and I were coming home from school my mom has a habit of always checking to see who is driving behind us that night she noticed a car that had been following us for a few minutes to make sure we weren't just being overreacting we slowed down and drove around a roundabout twice but the car sped up and cut us off on the small Road leading to our house this road usually wasn't very busy but we thought we were just in the wrong place at the wrong time at first everything was fine and we decided to forget about what happened it was now may about 2 months after the lockdown began one night around 3:00 a.

m. my sister was downstairs in the living room just to give you an idea our living room has lots of doors and windows she noticed one of the doors was slightly opening and thought someone had forgotten to close it and that the wind was blowing it open but when she tried to push it shut and lock it she felt like someone was pushing against it to open it she screamed as loud as she could and ran upstairs to my parents they went to the backyard to check if anyone was there we didn't see anyone so we decided to think of it as a one-time thing but my mom was still worried so she started staying in the living room at night in case anything happened for the next few weeks nothing new happened she asked me many times to stay with her just to be a witness in case anything happened one night around 1:00 a. m.

we were lying on the couch the lights were off because I had a headache and my mom was just scrolling through her phone then suddenly we saw a blinding light shining into our living room which scared me so much that I was completely Frozen my parents went into the backyard but they didn't find anything then few minutes later we saw more lights and heard weird noises on the surveillance camera we saw strange people at our gate staring directly into our house but since it wasn't illegal we couldn't do anything about it this went on for a few months driving my family crazy then next summer while we were cleaning the backyard we found a big hole in the bushes that was big enough for someone to sneak through we were unsure what to do but it confirmed that someone had been entering our property after that not much else happened which made us think they knew we were aware of them but we still have no idea who they were why they were doing it or if they intended to do something [Music] bad when I was around 14 or 15 years old I used to stay over at my cousin's house a lot her name was Skyler and and her husband's name was Josh Skylar was about 24 years old and Josh was about 26 at that time I had been staying at their house for a whole week without any problems it was summer and their house was in a neighborhood that was growing quickly you know those neighborhoods with lots of houses that all look the same and have culde sa at the far end of the neighborhood there were many houses that were only partly built this information is pretty important anyways Josh and I love watching movies and often stayed up late watching whatever we liked that night Skyler went to bed early but Josh and I stayed up to watch would you rather and then ridiculous 6 by the way that movie sucks usually Josh goes out to the back patio for a smoke every now and then especially at night when he takes his dog out for a pee now after a while I fell asleep during the movie on one of their two couches this couch was against a wall and to the left of it was a window looking into the backyard it was the only window in the living room at some point I kept hearing banjo barking loudly in the playroom then in the kitchen then back in the playroom and so on Banjo was a needy dog who didn't like being shut out of Skyler and Josh's room so I thought he was just upset but I tried to ignore it and go back to sleep then he suddenly went quiet he wakes me up again by growling at the window next to the couch where I'm sleeping he wouldn't calm down but I still didn't get up I fell asleep again for a bit suddenly banjo jumped on the couch right onto my stomach and started barking loudly again but what really woke me up was a bright light shining in my face from outside the window at first I wasn't scared just really confused because my eyes hadn't adjusted yet then the flashlight moved up and I saw a man's face it looked exactly like Josh's maybe they were twins he was crouched down with his face close to the glass and when I saw him I jumped a lot I don't remember if I screamed but the man started laughing at me I could hear his laughter through the window I thought it was Josh trying to scare me I was still half asleep and feeling uneasy so I decided to sleep on the floor in the upstairs hallway I didn't tell Skyler what had happened because she gets really grumpy when you wake her up plus I was still thinking it was probably Josh trying to scare me on his smoke break not some stranger checking out the house the next afternoon I told them about it but they didn't take it seriously they asked if I was sure I wasn't dreaming they did mention hearing the dog barking like crazy though I went outside to check near the window to see if the man left any signs he was there it made me feel sick to my stomach The Tall Grass next to the house was flattened like someone had been kneeling feeling there I don't want to think about how long the man might have been there for the grass to still be pressed down banjo must have been watching there for a while and the flashlight was what finally woke me up I think maybe some person who didn't have a home was bored and decided to explore but yeah if my life was a scary movie back then I would have been in big trouble [Music] I am a 25-year-old female and this happened to me last summer but it still makes me nervous to think about it so one day I went to the thrift store with my boyfriend on our way home I suggested we get some sushi for dinner from the nearby grocery store but my boyfriend was tired from his night shifts so he suggested I go to the grocery store while he went home we live in a busy part of the city where the mall library City Hall restaurants and big stores are all just a few minutes from our home so I felt okay going by myself now I really wish I hadn't as we split up I was walking through the grocery store parking lot when a big man about 65 and probably in his early to mid 40s came up to me with a big smile and wide eyes he said wow you are stunning I just thanked him and tried to walk away but he stopped me saying I have never seen anyone as beautiful as you before I felt scared right away I looked back hoping to see my boyfriend but he was already gone I know that it might seem like an overreaction to be scared of someone right away but I have read and watched a lot of True Crime and horror stories for Years also I have extreme social anxiety and I'm a small woman with no fighting skills so I am always very careful plus his eyes and smile reminded me of a stronger version of art the clown from terrifier just without the clown costume and the sil the man started talking to me asking for my name and age I gave him a random name and said I was 19 that's good that means you're a true woman now I look around hoping someone else was nearby but there was no one I felt trapped later my boyfriend told me I should have lied and said I was under 18 because it might have made the man lose interest from the warning signs I got from the man I seriously doubt he would have left me alone even if I had told him I was under 18 he then held out his phone and wanted my number I refused and said I had a boyfriend so what I just want to talk to you I repeated that I had a boyfriend it was creepy how his smile never went away even though I showed I wasn't interested it was like he didn't understand understand or maybe he just didn't care the weird man kept smiling as he moved closer to me and said so you don't want to cheat on your boyfriend I was stunned I stepped back and desperately looked at the people coming in and out of the grocery store for help after I refuse again his smile suddenly disappeared he put his hand on my back and said in a cold firm Voice come on I have a nice car I can drive you to a restaurant it was shocking to see his demeanor shift so drastically like something out of a movie his Sudden Change made my heart race with fear panicking I managed to push myself away from him and nearly shouted sorry I have to go buy my groceries I noticed people staring at us his creepy smile came back and he said quietly okay I'll see you later I practically ran into the grocery store feeling so relieved then I looked back hoping to see him getting into his car instead I saw the man standing in the middle of the parking lot staring at me I tried calling my boyfriend in the store but it went to voicemail I thought maybe he was sleeping I was really scared to walk back home I calmed down inside the store thinking the man was probably gone but I stayed very alert on the walk home it was getting dark but I thought if I stayed careful and walked fast I'd be okay as I neared the crosswalk to my street I heard a car pull up beside me and then a voice I recognized too well yelled out my heart sank I look over at the car the man had a creepy mean looking grin on his face he leaned out of his car window like he wanted to grab me he teasingly asked so where's your boyfriend and laughed loudly remembering what I've seen in True Crime and horror stories I decided it was safest not to respond to him my mind was racing but I tried to stay calm I couldn't let him follow me home and turning back towards the mall or stores might have shown him I was scared and trying to get away luckily my neighborhood had the city's recreation center right next to my building I ignored him and casually crossed the street walking faster as I headed into the recck center I tried not to look back afraid I'd see the man chasing me with his creepy grin but I got into the recck center safely and finally glanced behind me I thought he might have followed me inside or waited in his car instead he quickly drove off in the opposite direction of my house I felt so relieved that I called my boyfriend who woke up when he answered my call I was about to cry but somehow I controlled myself and told him everything that happened he hurried to the rec center and after he helped me calm down we walked home my boyfriend asked if I got the man's license plate number and I felt really stupid it was too dark and I was too scared for my own safety to think about that at least I called the police and described the man in his car to them they said they would try to help but I haven't heard anything back from them I haven't seen that man since then not in person anyway but I still see his smile in my dreams and it scares me it keeps coming back haunting me for many nights filling my thoughts remembering the cruel intense stare he gave me in his car makes me realize how happy he was to see I was alone and in a vulnerable situation it shows me that my city which I thought was safe might not be as safe as I believed at the same time I'm thankful he never found out where I live but he could still be out there looking to hurt other women like he tried with me that night he followed me almost home for my sake and for all the women in my city I hope I never have to find [Music] out this started a couple of days ago on July 5th when I got a call from FedEx around 10 p. m. they wanted to know my name and address which they should already know but at the time I didn't think about it and gave them the information because I thought it might be about a lost package that had found its way back to me I didn't think much of it until I got another phone call saying they couldn't find my unit number and told me to come to the roundabout near my place my dad thought it was strange so he drove around the area to find these people he drove around four times the first time there was nothing then I got curious and joined him for the second round but we still didn't see anything I went back into my home and my dad did a third lap around the house he found a gray SUV in the corner and confronted them they told my dad they weren't the delivery people so my dad left to check again but during his last lap the same SUV was gone the next day on July 6th around 11:00 p.

m. we heard the doorbell ring I went down to check and saw two people who looked around 20 years old but they knew my name and were calling out for me which was really weird because I had never seen them before I didn't feel safe so I didn't go to them they kept coming back so we called the police the cops told me to contact them if this happened again the next day July 7th was very quiet and nothing strange happened so we thought it was over and went on with our day the day after that July 8th was also quiet but around 11:00 p. m.

my security camera spotted someone with a mask taking photos or videos of my house we called 911 and told them about this strange Behavior the police arrived in a few minutes but by the time they came those boys were already gone so we thought it was over but we were wrong I was in the living room around 3:00 a. m. on the same day and heard a noise outside my balcony I ignored it at first but then I heard it again so I went to the balcony to check but to my horror I was face to face with the intruder I started screaming for help and my family came down but those two boys ran away again today is July 9th and I haven't slept because I'm so scared but how did they get my name and what do they want from me [Music] when I was 17 years old my bedroom had a window that faced our backyard the backyard had a fence around it beyond the fence there were some Woods in a pond I never felt scared of this view in fact I enjoyed keeping the blinds open so that when the sun rose each morning its natural light would gently wake me up then one night I was awake late on my phone with my dog beside me in bed it was around 2:00 a.
