hello and welcome to another episode of the in her power podcast hope you guys are doing so well if you're listening in real time or you're watching in real time hi happy Monday if you're watching us on YouTube hi so good to see you guys I actually love the fact that I'm in your ears now as well as on your screens that is just the best feeling for me it just means that the in her power podcast is that much more accessible that much more fun and engaging so I'm very excited I'm so happy to
be in our brand new era I'm so happy to be on your screen in your ear I am so excited for today's episode because at the time of recording we're pretty much wrapping up 2024 to prepare organize for 2025 and in today's episode we're going to plan out your year together we're going to do a little bit of a planning session together and we're going to get really clear on how we can make 2025 our year to thrive now if you follow me over on socials personally be Stewart I'm going to leave all the socials
links everything below but you will know that I have a new year prep series currently live currently we're halfway through and I'm loving it you guys are loving it too but I wanted this episode to be a little bit more in-depth a little bit longer form for you guys so we can delve super heavily into this framework and that's exactly what it is and you know what's really funny upon reflection while I Was preparing this episode and while I was organizing you know scripting and all that kind of stuff I realized that I have been
doing this exact stepbystep framework for years and I swear by it because I look if you know me you follow me you've been around here for a while you listen to the podcast you know I'm a very logical kind of gal I I love my steps I love my Frameworks I love my guides I love my step-by-step actionable methods I suppose I still very much believe in like the visualization and the vision boards and the journaling I also really feel like you need to match that with the actionable steps with tangible things to do and
they have to be realistic and they have to be done almost at the same time as all the fluff like visualization and manifestation and journaling and all the things so in today's episode I wanted to give you guys a little bit of both predominantly the tangible logical steps that we can take to prepare ourselves for a brand new year and you know what guys one of my favorite things about this community that we have built specifically the podcast Community is that I believe and I'm looking at the data so I can kind of draw this
conclusion Almost 100% of our listeners are female according to the data and I just I feel like all the girly Pops that listen to this podcast I feel this is my this is my hypothesis are the same girlies that got super excited at the end of every single school year or at the start of every single school year because we knew it was time for new pencil cases new stationary new notebooks new diaries new everything like all of that like stationary new like erasers do you guys remember Smiggle if you're in Aussie you may remember
Smiggle um it's still around I believe but like that's when it like popped off when I was in primary school anyway I feel like now that we are all older all of us girly Pops that were like that when we were younger have now reunited and we watch podcast CS like this and we Thrive listening and learning about topics just like this one so I feel like I found my click I've found my group found my girlies and now we're all here so without further Ado let's get stuck straight into the episode step number one
this is going to be a really really important step I almost feel like if you don't do this step it's going to be harder to do the rest of them and I'll explain in a second so number one step for me personally is to do a little bit of like a year in review a little bit of an audit it doesn't have to be dramatic it doesn't have to be serious it doesn't have to be super duper structured but I like to ask myself a series of questions when I'm preparing or organizing for a brand
new year and they kind of just helped me navigate what worked well what didn't work well and like what am I channeling moving forward so this is actually something I like to do every quarter however for the purpose of this episode I recommend you do it for a brand new year so one of the first questions I always ask myself coming into a new year is what worked well and what didn't and what you can do here is then break down into categories maybe you own a business what worked well in business and what didn't
maybe you have some beautiful friendships what has been working well in these friendships what hasn't been working well in these friendships and have a look at your life buckets or have a look at the facets of your life that make the most impact or are really important to you so Health Wellness career business friendships relationships whatever it is and just ask yourself what worked well and what didn't from there I would ask myself within those same buckets or within those um facets of your life what are the lessons I've learned these can be really positive
lessons or they can be absolute whoopsy daisies maybe they're negative lessons but what have you learned here and how can we actually take that in our stride and kind of dictate and align what we do more of or what we do less of in 2025 another question that I always end with is what is the energy that I'm channeling what kind of person do I want to show up as in 2025 and lock that in because this is then going to be a beautiful segue and a beautiful pathway into the next step and that is
Step number two setting the vision for the year now this is a little bit fluffy this is a little bit like all up in the air because there is no tangible step per se to align to this but I would love for you to think about if 2025 was my year finally to thrive finally I can wholeheartedly say 2025 is my Year guys on the DL I genuinely think that 2025 is is my year like 2024 was good and it set a lot of foundation for me but I think 2025 is my year like I
don't want to jinx myself and I don't believe in jinxing cuz what's going to happen for me is going to happen for me regardless but I think 2025 is my year like the year you know what I'm just going to tell you guys so I told two of my really good friends that and my husband I feel like 2025 is the year of the boom I'm talking business I'm talking personal brand I'm talking podcast like I don't want to I don't want to like again jinx myself or talk too soon or whatever but I really
feel like I laid some beautiful foundation in 2024 and now I'm actually running with everything I've learned full steam ahead towards like a huge boom that's what I'm channeling so when I think about the year of the Boom for me 2025 I think about all these beautiful milestones in business personal brand I think about potentially starting a team think about buying a house with Zach possibly I think about all these really beautiful milestones and I almost envisioned 2025 as the year that it just clicked into place for me I don't know so I encourage you
to think about when I think about 2025 what does that look like for me who am I where am I what do I look like what am I doing what money am I earning and it doesn't have to be some crazy ridiculous dulu thought encourage that always but realistically if 2025 was my year what would that look and feel like and maybe just jot that down you can then do things like vision boards you can do visualization you can do you know your visualization journaling where you just Riff on that and you feel into that
this is the fluffy stuff I still love it but I also feel like if we lean too much into the fluff there's no action there's no inspired aligned steps but I still do feel like it's necessary so don't skip over it step number three is to set your goals and my recommendation while I love the dulu energy I'm a dulu girl through and through I feel like it's a good idea to not plan or set goals that are so ridiculously far down the line so for example if you are on $50,000 a year and you
set yourself a goal to earn $1 million at the end of the year but you don't intend to change or add anything into your life is that going to happen I'm not sure about it again Never Say Never but realistically we're going to think logically here is that a possibility probably not if you are someone like me and you can't even run one kilometer but you say to yourself by the end of February I want to run an entire marathon is that realistic I don't know I just I don't think so um so think here
what are some realistic goals that I can set for myself in 2025 now I know a lot of people in the personal development space spirituality space hate to see SM T goals coming smart goals because they are so caught up in this I want to be dulu and just whatever I set my mind to will happen of course it will but we actually have to be a little bit more structured here what if we could attach really realistic actionable steps to that goal what if we could set deadlines what if we could set ways to
measure our progress smart goals what is your goal set your goal set a way that you can measure your progress so maybe want to be a content creator in 2025 we can measure our progress through engagement and followers maybe you want to lose some weight or become healthier in 2025 what are some ways that we can measure that we can do that through progress photos we can do that through upping our weight in the gym and tracking that maybe you got a financial goal that is measurable and realistic we can measure that by monitoring our
savings account by you know budgeting all that kind of stuff we have to make sure that they are realistic so they are achievable we've got to attach our aligned action here and for a lot of us aligned action actually starts by looking at the way we show up every single day so I whole ly believe my entire ethos my entire philosophy is you can absolutely have the life that you can't stop thinking about that is available to you but it won't be until you address what you do every single day all starts with the way
that you show up day in day out and whether you're conscious to that or not every single thing you do has a reaction it is dictating a reality of some kind so if you are constantly showing up in shitty habits yucky routines and rituals that don't benefit or serve you you will not and cannot main the thing that is bigger and better for you what are my aligned actions here okay let's reverse engineer let's have a look at the habits that are required from me and we're actually going to get into that in Step number
three I recommend setting a time frame or a deadline even if it's just a time frame in which you Circle back in you check your progress you rearrange you refine your path you refine your steps you refine what you're doing I think it's really really important you know there's something that I really picked up on years and years ago is that I would get this ounce of motivation every single year either right at the end of the year or at the beginning of a year I'd be like yes it's my year I'm ready to change
I write all these goals down I write out my action plan and then I actually never look at it again and then you get halfway through the year or even sometimes March for me where I'd be like Oh I'm a failure I've already falling off the bandwagon blah blah blah and it's because I didn't set a time frame to Circle back in check the progress refine the journey refine what I'm doing what's working what's not audit your progress again a beautiful segue into the next step you need to have a look at your Healthy Habits
your routines and your rituals because again the way that you show up is actually dictating what you will or will not achieve again I really want to let that land with you if you really think about it you zoom out and you look at your life through a bird's eye view at a bird's eye view you can identify that the behaviors you show up in every single day the routines you show up in every single day or the routines you don't show up in every single day are dictating where you are going again whether you're
conscious to that or you're not they are creating a reality that you will eventually show up in and live in so imagine if you could refine audit and better your habits routines and rituals to reflect a goal you're working towards so for example if one of your goals and you know your 2025 looks like a really healthy version of you you need to adjust your habits and routines and your rituals accordingly to reflect that goal again Financial goal does the way that you spend the way that you work reflect that goal if it does fantastic
continue that or Elevate what you're currently doing if it doesn't it's time to audit those habits routines and rituals and adjust them accordingly guys so this is actually why the Habit tracker was born or how it was born um if you're new here The Habit tracker is my product based business um we have a habit tracker Journal which is our goal setting and habit tracking Journal um and this essentially helps people identify the habits they need for that goal that they have set and then allows them to develop those healthy habits over time through the

here what are my habits like are they reflective of the person I want to be in 2025 and if they're not audit them adjust them and track them until they are again this is super straightforward this is what the Habit tracker Journal is all about we have the auditing section a habit tracker section a goal setting section and then a reflection section for every single month for an entire year so there's simply no way you cannot be aligned and on track for an entire year we've built a journal for it and then my final step
for this framework is to track and celebrate your progress and I believe that this is where people go wrong I believe that people don't schedule in or designate some time to reflect and audit again I love to do this at the end of every single quarter or at the start of every single quarter I will ask myself the same questions in the past couple of months or past few months what work well and what hasn't let's have a look at all the buckets of life and ask that same question career business relationship Finance everything then
from there what have I learned both positive and negative how can I take that in my stride and progress and refine where I'm going based on the knowledge I now have and the lessons I now have and then lastly Who Am I who am I channeling what's the vibe what's the energy who do I want to be who do I want to show up as in the next quarter and I will actually schedule that in same with you know my my money I actually have a money meeting with myself at the end of every single
week to make sure that my finances are on track to make sure that I have paid my tax for the week make sure that I have paid myself for the week being a company based structure I pay myself now I've got to pay my own supera I've got to pay tax and then business tax all the things so I actually have a weekly money meeting with myself scheduled into my calendar every single Friday morning and there's a reminder that buzzes on my phone and my laptop hey money meeting time money is a priority to me
Financial Freedom and financial stability is a priority to me so we schedule it in if so if you have to go to the same extent where you actually schedule in money meetings or progress meetings or fortn nightly check-ins with a coach or fortnightly check-ins with yourself maybe you're on a physique or health and fitness journey maybe it's as simple as scheduling in every single fortnite where you go and take your progress photos even if it's just for yourself okay so what are the ways that we can track our progress and on top of that what
are the ways that we can reward that progress this is where again a lot of people go wrong in my opinion I see it in like the Habit tracker community so in order for you to obtain a new mindset or a new healthy habit or a new routine there needs to obviously be that repetition and consistency but on top of that it doesn't just stop there as part of that process where you're building something new there needs to be positive reinforcement that hit of dopamine or that micro reward in the brain where you are giving
yourself a thumbs up you are telling yourself yes what we just did positive reinforcement here what we just did was great we are winning that is progress let's celebrate it and it doesn't have to be as crazy as going and buying something designer or going and buying yourself anything it could be oh okay that was awesome I've you know saved an extra bit this week or this quarter was so much better than last quarter I'm going to go treat myself to a coffee this morning or I'm going to go and take myself to the park
with the dogs and eat fish and chips that's so Niche because that's what I do like it doesn't have to be crazy you don't even have to spend money I did x y and Zed this quarter or this month or this week I'm going to have a pamper night with myself I'm going to paint my nails I'm going to pop a face mask on I'm going to put a hair mask in I'm going to relax I'm going to make myself a little drink it can be fun it can be it can be as bougie or
as laid-back as you want it to be but we need to be making sure that we're a scheduling in the time to track out progress and on top of that celebrate that progress because this is where it starts to stick in the brain it is so incredibly important that we are doing a beautiful blend of both it can't just be action action action masculine all the time it needs to be let's let's action it let's track that and let's celebrate it so that is my framework for every single year and to be honest this is
