[Music] seven physical signs God is talking to you after we received the gift of Salvation we enjoyed peace with God and this meant we could have a relationship with God where God is our father and we are his children one important part of a relationship is communication and this is also an important part of our relationship with God we are to talk with God through prayer and hear from him concerning different areas of Our Lives this means every believer has the ability to hear from God the question is whether we are maximizing that ability or

not God talks to us through Visions dreams the inner voice the prophetic word and through his creation he instructs us concerning steps that we should take and guides Us in every way the Bible is full of accounts of different people who heard God from the Old Testament to the New Testament God many times may be talking to you but you are failing to pay attention and listen to him because you do not know when God was going to talk to Samuel the prophet the first time he heard God calling him but he did not know

he was God he assumed that it was Eli the priest and his master so he went to him this happened up to three times before Eli discerned that it must have been God that was trying to talk to him and Eli told Samuel what to say as a reply that day God spoke to Samuel about different things many of us are like Samuel God is calling us and talking to us but we do not know that he is the one we assume that it is someone else and something else we have missed out on the

voice of God many times and this has hurt us there are times God wants to prepare us for the future or warn us about something but because we did not listen to him we have no idea sometimes there are physical signs that God is talking to us so that we can pay attention to his voice here are seven of them one lack of sleep or waking up for no reason in the middle of the night sometimes you may realize that you are struggling with sleeping for an extended time until a particular hour of the night

or you wake up consistently for no reason at a particular hour of the night this may be a physical sign that God is trying to talk to you God is calling your attention at that hour to listen to him when we are going through the day everywhere is so noisy and busy and even our minds are filled with noise and it is hard to identify God's voice in the midst of all that chaos however the night is is the time of peace and quiet when our brains can finally pause on the million thoughts and hear

the still Small Voice from God when you struggle with sleep or wake up in the middle of the night it may also be a call to prayer so instead of wasting that time why not spend time praying and opening your heart to hear from God just ask God to show you why he woke you up or why he kept you awake and wait on him next time you are struggling with sleep use that time to wait on God it would be much easier to hear God in the quiet of the night rather than the busy

hours of the day when we study the gospel we would notice that Jesus always spent time praying alone in the early hours of the morning when most other people were not yet awake he understood something that we need to learn the importance of harnessing times of quiet like the nighttime or the early hours of the morning if you have been experiencing this sign for a while now you know what to do the next time it happens two when your heart is anxious for no reason and you experience so much stress this may be another sign

that God is trying to tell you something one of the fruit of the spirit is peace and this is something we should enjoy as Believers so when our hearts are filled with anxiety and we are worried something may be wrong Matthew 11:28 says come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest when our hearts are filled with worries and we are endlessly stressed it may mean that we are not enjoying rest from the presence of God when Jesus said we should come unto him and he will give us

rest he knew how the worries of this would become heavy burdens for us and he knew that the way to ease that burden was to spend time in his presence sometimes having your heart filled with worries may be telling you that it is time to spend time in God's presence again it may be an indication that you have gotten so big busy that you have not spent time praying or studying the word and God is reminding you to come to the place of prayer anxiety and stress may be an indication that something is wrong especially

when there is no physical cause for it so you may need to spend time waiting on God and seeking God's Direction when it is a decision that is causing you to be anxious you may also be experiencing anxiety because you have not learned to surrender everything to God God may be using this season to call you to surrender all your worries to him Philippians 4: 6-7 says do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with Thanksgiving present your request to God and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will

guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus as opposed to being anxious God can use his peace to speak to you experiencing peace when you should naturally be full of panic May be a sign that God is talking to you it may be a sign that God is telling you that everything will be fine and that what you are passing through is only for a season when you experience the peace of God that does not make sense to other people it is usually clear that God is with you this can be very reassuring especially

when nothing else in your circumstance shows the presence of God so the presence of either worries or the peace of God can be a physical sign that God is talking to you three when you hear a message or receive a word over and over again sometimes when God wants to get through to us he uses repetition he makes us hear or see something over and over again till we finally realize that it is not just a coincidence have you ever had a situation when you needed answers about something and then it seems that everywhere you

turn you are receiving the same answers you go to church and that is the topic of your pastor's sermon you call a friend and suddenly they bring up a Sation around the same topic you are scrolling through Instagram and it is still the same it almost seems like you keep hearing the same thing over and over again this may be God's way of speaking to you it may be the physical manifestation of the fact that God is speaking to you instead of ignoring and dismissing it as a coincidence you can just pray to God to

receive Clarity on the topic and to be sure he is the one speaking to you through this means four when you experience illness God wants you to be in perfect health and that is why he made healing available for us in Christ the Bible is full of accounts of people who were healed delivered and even raised from the dead although God may not be the one sponsoring your illness he may speak to you through it John 5:14 later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him see you are well again stop sinning or

something worse may happen to you the backstory to this statement was that Jesus had recently healed this man who had been paralyzed for a while after healing him Jesus had slipped into the crowd when Jesus met him later on he told him to stop sinning so something worse would not happen to him the cause of his sickness was sin and because Jesus cared about him and did not want him to suffer again he spoke to him about it sometimes God may speak to us through our sickness he may use that season to teach us faith

in him and to teach us to walk away from a kind of Lifestyle does this mean that everyone who is sick is sick because of sin of course not Jesus was walking with his disciples when they saw someone who was born blind in John chapter 9: 2-3 his disciples asked him Rabbi who sinned this man or his parents that he was born blind neither this man nor his parents sinned said Jesus but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in in his life the blind man was born blind not because of

sin but so that God's work may be displayed in his life Jesus went on to heal him if you are experiencing any illness know that the word of God provides for your healing confess the word and listen to whatever God will teach you in this season five an open door or opportunity another physical sign that God is talking to you is that he opens a door for you or makes an opportunity aail available for you sometimes you may have been praying to God for direction on what next to do or where next to go and

it seems as if you had not heard anything from him in such a season where a door opens that points you in the right direction it may be a way that God is speaking to you when we look around us we sometimes find the answer to our prayers when Moses and the Israelites needed to cross the Red Sea what God used was a rod God used what they had in their hands to help them God may be using that open door as a way of speaking to you concerning the next step to take six a

physical encounter you cannot explain sometimes when God talks to us it can be quite direct we can have a physical encounter that our minds cannot deny here God talks to us so clearly that we are so sure that it is the voice of God an example of this is when we hear the audible voice of God other people around you may not hear it but you are so sure that your ears heard God speak Moses had an encounter like this when he saw the Burning Bush Moses saw a bush that was burning but was not

consumed that must have been such a strange sight for him because he drew close to see what was going on it was then he heard a voice speaking to him there is no way he could deny such a physical encounter another person that heard a physical encounter was Apostle Paul he was traveling in an attempt to persecute more Christians when he saw a bright light he heard a voice speaking to him but those around him did not hear anything the voice said after this encounter Paul was blind for some days before God sent a brother

to pray for him when you have a physical encounter you know that it is the Lord who is speaking to you and you cannot deny it not everyone has this spiritual experience but for those who do this is a physical sign that God is talking to you seven by talking or confirming his word through those he put around you God may talk to you through people around you this happens especially when he wants to confirm a word that he has spoken to you in secret he can use your parents friends members of your church your

pastor or your mentor to reach you he can even use strangers to speak to you sometimes God may use this sign when you have drawn so far from him that you no longer listen to his voice he uses other people to talk to you because he cares for you and wants to reach you even when it seems that you are so far away when God reaches you through this means do not despise it but let your heart be open to receive God's word this is the reason we have some gifts of the Spirit like the
