Psalm 121: Morning Prayer For Protection and Safety | Blessed Morning Prayer

before we pray let's listen to God's word and then we'll pray together Psalm 121 I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help my help comes from the Lord who made Heaven and Earth he will not allow your foot to be moved he who keeps you will not Slumber behold he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep the Lord is your keeper the Lord is your shade at your right hand the sun shall not strike you by day nor the Moon by Night the Lord shall preserve you from all

evil he shall preserve your soul the Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even forever more now let's pray together dear heavenly father you are a mighty and loving God always present in my life and constantly reminding me of your boundless care from the moment I wake up to the moment I lay down you are there guiding me protecting me and surrounding me with your love I stand in awe of your greatness for there is no one like you in every Sunrise I see your mercy and in

every sunset I feel your peace even in the little moments when I may forget to notice you are actively working in my life you have shown me love through the kindness of others through your creation and most of all through the sacrifice of your son Jesus Christ how can I ever fully Express my gratitude for all that you've done your love is patient gentle and unending I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your constant faithfulness you are not just a distant God but a God who comes close who walks with

me and carries my burdens when they are too heavy for me to Bear your promises Lord are my Solid Ground the foundation on which I stand they fill me with hope when I feel hopeless and they provide me with peace when I feel anxious you are my safety my refuge my place of rest I trust in you because you have promised to protect me from all harm you keep me from loneliness when I feel isolated and you Shield me from the evils of this world I find comfort in knowing that nothing can touch me without

first passing through your hands I cling to you my rock and my shield because you are unshakable Lord Jesus I come before you today and declare with all my heart that you are my refuge and my strength in the midst of chaos when life feels overwhelming and burdens are too heavy you are the one I Turn to You are not just a distant help you are my very present help in times of trouble there is never a moment when you are too far away or too busy to care for me you are right here right

now always ready to lift me up and carry me through whatever I face when my heart is anxious you calm it when my mind is full of worry you bring peace that surpasses all understanding I find such deep comfort in knowing that I am under your protective care a God who never sleeps nor Slumbers how amazing is it to know that you are always watching over me even in The Quiet Moments When I feel unseen or forgotten you see me you know me and you care for me you lovingly tend to your children not because

you have to but because it brings you Joy to do so there is no love like yours Jesus so pure so selfless so faithful you care for me in ways I could never fully comprehend and you do it with a love that has no limits your word Lord is full of stories that show your incredible power and remind me that you are an all powerful God I think about the story of Daniel who was thrown into a Den of Lions yet you protected him I think of how you parted the Red Sea for the Israelites

making a way where there seemed to be no way these stories fill me with Hope and Faith because they show that you are always able to do the impossible and though I may not be facing the same trials as Daniel or Moses I know that you are still the same God who protects and provides even in my daily life I face challenges that feel overwhelming but I trust that you are with me in every step I take each time I leave my home each time I travel or go about my day I ask that you

be my protection just as you shut the mouths of lions for Daniel shut the mouths of fear doubt and danger in my life be my constant guide the one who walks before me and makes my path straight you have never failed me and I know you never will Lord while I may not need a physical Miracle like The Parting of the sea I do face many obstacles that seem impossible to overcome life often feels like a storm with waves crashing down around me threatening to pull me under but in those moments I ask that you

be my peace just as you calmed the storm for the disciples calm the storms that rage in my heart and mind whether it's stress at work tension within my family or misunderstandings with friends I pray that you bring peace and healing to those situations sometimes the storms of life can feel too big for me to handle but I trust that nothing is too big for you I ask that you make a way for me even when the path ahead seems unclear just as you provided for the Israelites in the wilderness I know you will provide

for me even when I don't know how or when I trust that you will show up in ways I couldn't even imagine you are the God who brings calm to every storm and light to every dark place I may not have the guarantee of a life without problems but I have the promise that you are always with me helping me through every trial father as I draw near to you I ask that you come even closer to me I want to feel your presence in my life in a real and tangible way your word says

the Lord is your shade at your right hand the sun shall not strike you by day nor the Moon by night what a beautiful promise I picture myself resting in your shade safe and protected from all harm under the shelter of your wings I find peace there is a Stillness that comes from being in your presence a Serenity that can't be found anywhere else in the busyness of life it's easy to feel overwhelmed but when I stop and rest in you everything else Fades away you are my constant protector the the one who never leaves

my side I ask that you continue to be the shade at my right hand guarding me from the dangers of this world help me to always stay close to you Lord because in your presence there is fullness of joy and peace this life is filled with so many dangers both physical and spiritual every day I am faced with the realities of illness injury and accidents and it can be easy to feel afraid but I place my trust in you Lord because I know you are the one who keeps me safe I ask that you protect

me from physical harm from sickness and from any accidents that may come my way but I also pray for protection from the spiritual dangers that can sometimes be even more harmful guard My Heart Lord from doubt that can weaken my faith protect me from sin that seeks to pull me away from you keep me from falling into false teachings that distort your truth and shield me from deception that tries to lead me astray I know that the enemy is always looking for ways to attack but I trust in your power to preserve my soul You

Are My Strength my Defender and my safe place Lord you are my Hiding Place when the world feels too overwhelming I can run to you and you will protect me you surround me with songs of Deliverance lifting my spirit and reminding me of your great love you watch over me and my family keeping us safe from harm each morning as I begin my day and each evening as I lay down to rest I do so knowing that I am under your Divine care and protection I don't have to worry about what tomorrow may bring because

I know that you hold my future in your hands you are my keeper my constant source of security and I place my trust in you Lord I rely on your faithfulness there there are times when life feels overwhelming and my faith begins to shake there are moments when I feel like I'm staggering under the weight of my burdens and I start to lose hope but in those moments I ask that you strengthen my faith help me to stand firm even when the storms of life rage Around Me Be My Sanctuary Lord Jesus the place I

can run to for safety and comfort even if the Winds of Life blow hard I know that you are with me protecting and preserving me I may face difficulties but I know that you are always my refuge and my help in times of need I praise you Lord for who you are and for all you have done in my life I glorify your name because you are faithful and true thank you for preserving me from all evil for watching over my soul and for being with me in my going out and my coming in your
