will be a happy person three God always answers prayers John 16.24 says until now you have not asked for anything in my name ask and you shall receive and your joy will be complete you may be thinking does God only answer some of our prayers and ignore the rest the answer is no God answers all our prayers the issue is with our expectations God might be saying yes but what you want is a no because you're looking for a no you may not hear God's voice no matter what we think or feel God always answers

prayers but it might not be what we want but he surely answers prayers four we cannot bully force or in whatever way make God answer our prayers the way we want him to as we have said earlier God always answers prayers so there's a popular saying that goes as long as there's a man to pray there is a God to answer but God is Sovereign he can choose to answer in a miraculous way he can choose to answer otherwise but just expect an answer and don't think that you can force God to answer you the

and he wants us to be able to hear him every moment but most people are looking for Grand experiences they want God to speak to them through an angel or through dreams imagine this you're at a conference and you need God to quickly remind you of something you've forgotten because you're about to make a speech or he wants to tell you to meet someone that will help you in your career then you suddenly fall asleep and God shows you a dream and by the time you wake up what do you think people will say maybe

you were standing and you just drop down and the people surrounding you will call an ambulance so you can be treated can you see how sometimes you allow God to speak to you because most of the time it doesn't make sense the way we want him to speak so now that we've settled this here are seven signs to show that God is talking to you number one through the inward witness have you ever experienced a strong sense of knowing something without any tangible evidence a conviction deep inside you that is hard to explain this inner

knowing or inward witness is often the Holy Spirit communicating with your spirit Romans 8:16 says the spirit himself Bears witness with our spirit spirit that we are children of God this verse emphasizes how God's spirit testifies to our spirit giving us guidance and confirmation about his will this inward witness can be subtle but persistent and the more you grow in your relationship with God the easier it will become to recognize this form of communication the Apostle Paul also experienced this in Acts 16 6-7 when the Holy Spirit prevented him and his companions from preaching in

certain regions even though it wasn't an audible voice the inward witness from the spirit guided their steps number two through dreams and Visions God often uses dreams and Visions to communicate his plans or give warnings the Bible is full of examples of God speaking through dreams Joseph Daniel and even King Nebuchadnezzar received Divine messages in this way in Genesis 375 through6 Joseph had a dream that foretold his future role in leading his family he said then he had another dream and he told it to his brothers listen he said I had another dream and this

time the sun and moon and 11 stars were bowing down to me this dream was a prophetic vision of what would eventually come to pass acts 2:17 reiterates that dreams and Visions are still a way God communicates with his people in the last days God says I will pour out my spirit on all people your sons and daughters will prophesy your young men will see Visions your old men will dream dreams therefore pay attention to recurring or impactful dreams and Visions they may be God's way of speaking to you number three through the audible voice

of God though rare God can speak audibly where his voice is heard clearly by The Listener one of the most well known examples is when God spoke to Saul who later became Paul on the road to Damascus in Acts 93-6 we read about Saul's dramatic encounter as he journeyed he came near Damascus and suddenly a light Shone around him from heaven then he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him Saul Saul why are you persecuting me while this isn't something that happens every day it reminds us that God can and does

speak audibly when necessary if you ever hear an audible voice speaking to you in alignment with God's word know that God may be calling you for a specific purpose number four through other people and other means sometimes God uses other people to communicate his message to us this could be through a pastor a friend or even a stranger God can use anyone to deliver a message and often it will come at a time when you need it the most Proverbs 15 1522 says plans fail for lack of counsel but with many advises they succeed this

highlights the importance of listening to wise counsel as God often speaks through those around us to guide us in our decisions God may even use unexpected means such as a billboard a song or a random comment to grab your attention remember God is not limited in how he chooses to communicate number five through his word this is perhaps the most common and reliable way God speaks to us through the Bible scripture is God's written voice a direct communication to his people 2 Timothy 3:16-17 declares all scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching rebuking

correcting and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work whenever you open the Bible you're not just reading words on a page you're encountering God's voice he speaks through his word to guide instruct encourage and correct us the Bible is living and active Hebrews 4:12 meaning it will speak to you differently depending on what you're going through even if you've read the same verse before number six through circumstances and open or close doors another way God speaks is through your circumstances specifically through opening and closing doors

in your life this doesn't mean that every obstacle or opportunity is a direct message from God but often God will direct your path by closing doors that aren't meant for you and opening doors that align with his will in Revelation 3:7-8 Jesus says what he opens no one can shut and what he shuts no one can open see I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut this assures us that God orchestrates the events in our lives guiding us toward the path he has set for us pay attention to the opportunities

that seem to arise or disappear especially if you've been praying for direction God often uses circumstances to communicate his will and guide our steps Proverbs 169 reminds us a man man's heart plans his way but the Lord directs his steps number seven through an inner peace or uneasiness one of the clearest ways God speaks to us is through the sense of peace or uneasiness we feel about a decision or situation this is different from the inward witness but is closely related if you are making a decision and feel a deep sense of Peace it's often

a sign that God is guiding you in that direction on the cont if you feel unsettled or anxious it could be a warning sign that you're moving outside of God's will Colossians 3:15 says Let the Peace of Christ rule in your hearts the word rule here means to act as an Umpire guiding Us by the peace of God in our hearts if you're feeling at peace about a decision after praying about it it's a good indication that God is giving you the green light conversely if you're experiencing un ease take it as a cue to

pause and seek further Clarity from God Philippians 4:7 reinforces this and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and Minds through Christ Jesus when God speaks his peace follows even in difficult circumstances now let's pray to attract God's voice and hear him clearly Heavenly Father we come before you today with hearts full of GR itude and reverence acknowledging your sovereignty over our lives you are the creator of the heavens and the Earth the Alpha and the Omega the beginning and the end we recognize that you are always speaking and that

your words bring life Direction and purpose you speak and the mountains move you whisper and the Seas obey you are the god of miracles signs and wonders and we humble ourselves before you seeking to hear your voice clearly Lord we desire to know you more we long for a deeper relationship with you we want to hear you when you speak not just with our physical ears but with our spiritual ears Open the Eyes of our hearts Lord that we may perceive your voice in the midst of the noise and distractions that surround us your word

tells us in Jeremiah 33:3 call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know today Father we call upon your Holy Name we ask that you reveal to us the great mysteries of your will and your plan for our lives we surrender our desires our plans and our will to you teach us Lord to recognize the sound of your voice above all others and to discern when you are leading us in a specific Direction Holy Spirit we invite you to take control you are the counselor the

comforter the one who leads us into all truth we thank you that you dwell within us and bear witness with our spirit As Romans 8:16 says the spirit himself Bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God we ask that you heighten our sensitivity to your promptings that we may never miss a moment when you are trying to guide us or show us the way father we confess that sometimes our hearts have been hardened and we have not always been receptive to your voice there have been times when we allowed the worries of

Life the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things to choke out your word we repent of these distractions and ask for your forgiveness cleanse our hearts and renew a right Spirit within us so that we may hear you without interference Lord you know the desires of our hearts you know the prayers we have whispered in the quiet moment moments when no one else was watching you know the burdens we carry the decisions we are facing and the fears that try to overwhelm us but your word says that you will never leave us nor

forsake us you promised that you are a God who listens to your children Psalm 65:2 reminds us oh you who hear prayer to you all flesh will come so we come to you now confident that you hear us we ask that you speak to us us oh Lord speak to us in our dreams and Visions just as you did with Joseph Daniel and so many of your Faithful Servants throughout history let our dreams be filled with divine revelation guidance and purpose we pray like in Joel 2:28 that your spirit will be poured out upon us

that we will dream dreams and see visions that reflect your perfect will for our lives father as you speak to us we ask for the wisdom and discernment to understand and interpret what you are saying help us not to be swayed by our emotions or desires but to align ourselves with your divine plan if there are areas in our lives where we have been resistant to your voice we surrender them now we lay down our pride our stubbornness and our preconceived ideas and we invite you to lead us in the way Everlasting Lord we we

pray that we will not only hear your voice in the big decisions but in the small moments as well whether it's in a conversation with a friend a scripture that leaps off the page or even a gentle nudge in our spirit help us to be attentive and responsive to your direction let us not miss the subtle ways in which you communicate with us every day Jesus you said in John 10:27 my sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me we declare today that we are your sheep and we long to hear

your voice clearly teach us to follow you without hesitation even when the path seems unclear or when your instructions challenge our understanding we choose to trust you we choose to follow Wherever You Lead Lord we pray for the courage to obey when we hear your voice sometimes you call us to take steps of faith that seem impossible sometimes you ask us to let go of things we hold dear to to forgive when it's hard or to trust you when the future seems uncertain but we know that your ways are higher than our ways and your

thoughts higher than our thoughts give us the boldness to say yes Lord without fear or doubt father we also pray that you would silence the voice of the enemy in our lives we know that the enemy comes to steal kill and destroy and one of his greatest tactics is to confuse and deceive us but your word promises in James 4:7 that that if we resist the devil he will flee from us so in the name of Jesus we resist Every Lie every deception and every attempt to drown out the voice of God in our lives

we declare that your truth will prevail and your voice will be the loudest and clearest in our hearts and Minds Lord we also lift up those who are struggling to hear your voice today whether it's because of Doubt fear or a season of spiritual dryness we ask that you draw near to them break through the walls that have been built up and let them experience the sweetness of your presence let them know that you are with them even in the silence and that you are always ready to speak when they are ready to listen finally

father we thank you for your endless patience and love even when we miss your voice or fail to follow your leading you never give up on us you are always speaking always guiding always always loving us with a love that knows no bounds we commit ourselves to seeking you with all our hearts trusting that as we do we will find you just as you promised in Jeremiah 29:13 you will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart Thank You Lord For Hearing our prayer thank you for speaking to us for
