[Music] my friends there are moments in life when we come to the end of ourselves moments when the weight of our burdens is too heavy to Bear when sickness grips the body when fear grips the mind and When sin tightens its chains around the soul in those moments we cry out for something greater something stronger something that can break through the darkness and bring healing and deliverance and I'm here to tell you today with all the conviction in my soul that there is an answer there is power in prayer this is not the power of

empty words or religious routine no this is the power of a prayer that touches the very heart of God the prayer that moves mountains the prayer that shatters chains the prayer that heals the sick and sets the captives free my friends I have seen it I have witnessed broken lives restored bodies healed and souls delivered not by human effort not by medicine alone not by willpower but by the mighty hand of almighty God and I believe with all my heart that the same Jesus who walked the dusty roads of Galilee who laid his hands on

the Blind and gave them sight who touched the leper and made him clean who called the Dead from the grave he is the same Jesus who is here today he is the same yesterday today and forever he still heals he still delivers and he's is reaching out to you right now but my friends there is a kind of prayer that brings this healing and deliverance it is not a casual prayer it is not a half-hearted prayer it is a prayer of faith a prayer of surrender a prayer that believes God for the impossible and tonight

I want to show you from the word of God how you can experience this prayer in your own life so I urge you don't let distractions take your mind away don't let the enemy steal what God wants to do in your heart listen closely because I believe that before this night is over many of you will experience the power of Prayer in a way you never have before my friends have you ever faced a moment in life when you didn't know where to turn a moment when the weight of your pain your struggles and your

burdens became so heavy that you felt you couldn't take another step maybe you've sat awake in the Stillness of the night staring at this ceiling with tears rolling down your face wondering if God even hears you maybe the doctor has given you a report That Shook you to your core maybe you've been bound by fear by addiction by a weight of sin that seems impossible to break and in that moment you feel lost helpless but I want to tell you something tonight You Are Not Alone God sees you he hears you and he is waiting

for you to call upon his name the Bible says in Jeremiah 33:3 call unto me and I will answer thee and show thee Great and Mighty things which thou knowest not my friends this is not a suggestion this is a promise a promise from the almighty God that when you call upon Him He will answer he will not turn his ear away from you he will not leave you in your suffering he will not abandon you in your pain he is a God who heals a God who delivers a God who reaches down into the

darkest pit and lifts us up into His Marvelous Light but the question is do we truly believe it do we live as though we serve a God who hears and answers prayer or do we treat prayer like a last resort something we turn to only when we've exhausted every other option so often we run to everything else before we run to God we seek advice from friends we turn to Medicine we try to fix things in our own strength and only when all else fails do we fall to our knees and cry out to God

but my friends prayer was never meant to be our last option it is meant to be our first response think about the story of King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20 heed word that a vast Army was coming against him an army too great for his people to fight he had every reason to be afraid every reason to despair but do you know what he did he didn't gather his generals to make war plans he didn't rely on his own strength the Bible says Jehoshaphat set himself to seek the Lord and proclaimed to fast throughout all

Judah two Chronicles 203 he called the people together to pray to seek God's help and do you know what happened God responded he said Be not Afraid nor dismayed for the battle is not yours but God's 2 Chronicles 20:15 and without lifting a sword without fighting in their own strength God gave them the victory oh my friends what battles are you trying to fight on your own what burdens are you carrying that you were never meant to Bear alone have you forgotten that The Battle Belongs to the Lord have you forgotten that he is the

god who goes before you who fights for you who commands the winds and the waves he is the same God today that he was in the days of Jehoshaphat he has not changed and if he delivered then he will deliver now there is power in prayer not because of the words we speak not because of Any ritual or tradition but because of the one we are praying to prayer is the lifeline that connects us to the very throne room of God and when we pray we are not speaking into the air we are calling upon

the creator of the heavens and the Earth the one who formed you in your mother's womb the one who knows every hair on your head the one who holds the universe in his hands my friends if he can hang the stars in the sky if he can calm the Raging Seas if he can raise the dead don't you think he can hear your prayer don't you think he is able to heal to deliver to restore you may say but I've prayed before and I haven't seen my Miracle my friends listen to me God is not

deaf to your cry he is not blind to your pain he is working in ways that you cannot see sometimes the healing is instant and sometimes it comes in ways we never expected but we must trust that God is faithful to his promises we must believe that when we pray something happens in the heavens even if we don't see it right away the Bible says in James 5:116 the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much your prayers are not in vain they are heard by the king of kings and in his perfect time

and his perfect way he will answer some of you are waiting for your healing some of you are waiting for your deliverance and I want to encourage you tonight don't stop praying Don't Stop Believing don't let the enemy convince you that your prayers don't matter don't let discour enouragement keep you from calling upon the name of the Lord because he is near to the Brokenhearted he is close to those who call upon him in truth and he is still in the business of doing Miracles so tonight as we continue I want you to prepare your

heart I want you to put aside every distraction every doubt every fear because I believe that before this night is over chains are going to break healing is going to flow and the power of God is going to move in a mighty way but it begins with prayer the prayer that brings healing and deliverance my friends I want to tell you tonight about the greatest healer the world has ever known his name is Jesus he is the one who walked the dusty roads of Galilee who touched the Blind and made them see who placed his

hands on the crippled and made them War who spoke a word and cast out demons who called the dead from their graves and gave them life he is not just a figure in history he is not just a prophet or a good teacher he is the son of the Living God and he is alive today and because he is alive healing and deliverance are still possible through his mighty name people say that was then but this is now that was for Bible times but what about today oh my friends let me tell you something Jesus

has not changed the Bible says he is the same yesterday today and forever that means the same Jesus who healed the sick who made the lepers clean who cast out every evil spirit that same Jesus is here right now his power has not diminished his compassion has not grown cold his authority has not weakened he is still the great healer he is still the mighty deliverer when Jesus walked this Earth he was constantly moved by the suffering of the people the Bible tells us in Matthew 14:14 that when he saw the multitudes he was moved

with compassion and healed their sick he did not turn them away he did not leave them in their pain and he won't turn you away either no matter what you are going through no matter how deep your wounds no matter how impossible your situation may seem Jesus is able I think about the woman with the issue of blood for 12 long years she suffered she went to every doctor she spent everything she had but instead of getting better she grew worse maybe that's where some of you are right now you've tried everything you've knocked on

every door you've searched for answers but nothing has worked you feel hopeless you feel like giving up but then this woman heard about Jesus and she said to herself if I can just Touch the Hem of His Garment I will be made whole and with every ounce of strength left in her weak and weary body she pressed through the crowd reached out and touched the edge of his robe and in that moment instantly she was healed Jesus stopped he turned around and said who touch me the disciples looked at at him confused Master the crowd

is pressing all around you how can you ask who touched me but Jesus knew he felt the power go out from him and when the woman fell before him trembling and told him what had happened do you know what he said he didn't rebuke her he didn't turn her away he said daughter your faith has made you whole go in peace oh my friends that's the Jesus we serve the Jesus who notices the one in the crow the Jesus who stops for the broken the Jesus who heals not just the body but the heart some

of you need that touch tonight some of you have been suffering for years carrying sickness carrying sorrow carrying the weight of your struggles and you feel like nothing will ever change but I want to tell you Jesus is passing by and he is not too busy to stop for you he is not too far to reach you he is not too distant to heal you but you've got to reach out in faith you've got to believe that he is who he says he is and that he will do what he has promised to do I

think about bardus the blind beggar Who Sat by the roadside when he heard that Jesus was coming he cried out Jesus Son of David have mercy on me the crowd told him to be quiet but he shouted even louder son of David have mercy on me and Jesus stopped Jesus called him forward and with a Simple Touch his eyes were opened and he could see my friends what is blinding you tonight what is keeping you in darkness is it sin is it addiction is it fear is it doubt whatever it is Jesus is Calling You

to himself and when he touches your life you will never be the same again some of you need healing in your body some of you need healing in your mind some of you need deliverance from chains that have bound you for years but the answer is the same Jesus there is no sickness he cannot heal there is no bondage he cannot break there is no power of the enemy that can stand against his name the Bible says that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that he is Lord cancer

has to Bow depression has to Bow addiction has to Bow every sickness every disease every demonic Force must submit to the authority of Jesus Christ I have seen it with my own eyes I have seen the power of God touch the sick and make them well I have seen the chains of addiction fall off in an instant I have seen those tormented by the enemy set free in the mighty name of Jesus my friends this is not just a story this is real and it can happen for you tonight but you must come to him

you must believe you must put your trust not in man not in medicine not in yourself but in the one who holds all power in his hands Jesus is still in the healing business Jesus is still in the Deliverance business and he is calling out to you right now saying come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest will you come will you reach out to him will you believe because if you do you will see the power of God move in your life in ways you never imagined

my friends I want to tell you something tonight prayer is not just words spoken into the air it is not a ritual it is not a tradition it is not something we do out of habit or obligation prayer is power prayer is the very Lifeline between you and almighty God and when you pray in faith when you pray with boldness with confidence with unwavering belief mountains move chains break and miracles happen but there is a problem many of us pray but we do not truly believe we whisper words but deep down we doubt we say

we trust God but we hold on to fear we ask but we don't expect an answer and then we wonder why our prayers feel empty my friends God is Not Looking for half-hearted prayers he is not moved by words alone he is moved by faith the Bible says in mark 11:24 what things soever ye desire When you pray believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them did you hear that believe that you receive them not when you see the answer not when you feel different but the moment you pray because Faith does not

wait to see it believes before it happens I think about the story of Elijah there had been no rain in the land for 3 and 1/2 years a drought had consumed the nation the land was dry the people were desperate and Elijah knew that only God could send the rain so what did he do he went up to Mount Carmel fell on his face and began to pray he sent his servant to look toward the sea to to see if there was any sign of rain but there was nothing Elijah kept praying he sent his

servant again still nothing six times he sent him and six times there was no sign but Elijah did not give up he did not stop praying he did not say well maybe God isn't listening no he kept his face to the ground and on the seventh time his servant came back and said there is a cloud the size of a man's hand and Elijah stood up and said get ready because the rain is coming oh my friends do you hear what I'm saying Elijah prayed and kept praying he did not waver he did not doubt

he did not give up when he didn't see the answer immediately and because of that kind of Faith the heavens opened and the rain came pouring down that is the kind of faith-filled prayer God is calling us to tonight how many times have we prayed once maybe twice and then given up when we didn't see an answer how many times have we allowed doubt to creep in and steal our faith but the Bible says in James 1 6 and 7 let him ask in faith nothing wavering for he that wavereth is like a wave of

the sea driven with the wind and tossed for let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord my friends doubt is the enemy of prayer fear is the enemy of faith and if we allow the enemy to fill our hearts with unbelief we will miss the blessing that God has for us some of you have been praying for healing some of you have been crying out for deliverance and the enemy has whispered in your ear it's never never going to happen God doesn't hear you it's too late your situation is too

big your problem is too impossible but I here to tell you tonight the devil is a liar there is nothing too hard for God there is no sickness he cannot heal there is no chain he cannot break there is no prayer he cannot answer look at the story of the Centurion in Matthew 8 he came to Jesus on behalf of his servant who was paralyzed and suffering terribly he didn't ask Jesus to come to his house he didn't need to see Jesus lay hands on the man he simply said speak the word only and my

servant shall be healed and Jesus marveled at his faith he said I have not found so great faith no not in Israel and at that very moment the servant was healed my friends that is the power of faith that is the power of believing before you see some of you are waiting for the situation to change before you believe some of you are waiting for the symptoms to disappear before you have faith but God is waiting for you to believe First to trust that he is who he says he is to pray with boldness knowing

that he is able to speak to your mountain and tell it to move Jesus said in Matthew 17:20 if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed ye shall say unto this mountain remove hence To Yonder place and it shall remove and nothing shall be impossible unto you did you hear that nothing shall be impossible but too often we focus on the mountain instead of the one who has power over it we stare at the sickness at the problem at the addiction and we forget that the name of Jesus is greater the name of

Jesus is higher and when we pray in faith the mountains must move some of you tonight need to rise up in faith you need to shake off doubt shake off fear shake off the lies of the enemy and begin to pray with authority stop begging for your healing declare it in jesus' name stop fearing the storm stand up and speak to it stop letting the devil tell you that your past is too dark your sin is too great your bondage is too strong the blood of Jesus is greater the name of Jesus is stronger and

when you pray with faith the chains must break the sickness must flee and the power of God will be released in your life I don't know what mountain you are facing tonight I don't know what you've been praying for but I do know this God is still on the throne he is still answering prayer and if you will pray with faith if you will believe if you will hold on and not give up you will see the power of God move in your life like never before my friends there is something we must understand about

prayer it is not just about speaking words it is about surrender true prayer is not about giving God a list of what we want and expecting him to work on our terms no true prayer is about yielding our hearts Our lives our circumstances completely into his hands and saying Lord not my will but yours be done because prayer that brings healing and deliverance is a prayer of surrender many times we come before God with our own plans our own expectations we say Lord Heal Me This Way deliver me in this manner work it out according

to my timing and when things don't happen the way we expect we become discouraged we begin to doubt but my friends God is not bound by our expectations his ways are higher than our ways his thoughts are greater than our thoughts and sometimes the answer he gives is not the one we were looking for but it is always the one we need look at Jesus in The Garden of Gethsemane on the night before he went to the Cross he prayed father if it be possible let this cup pass from me his flesh felt the weight

of what was to come he knew the suffering that awaited him but do you know what he prayed next he said nevertheless not as I will but as thou wit oh my friends that is the prayer of surrender that is the prayer that says God I trust you even when I don't understand I trust you even when it hurts I trust you even when I cannot see what you are doing and because Jesus surrendered because he yielded fully to the will of the father salvation came to all mankind some of you have been praying for

healing but God is asking for some of you have been asking for deliverance but God is waiting for you to lay everything down at his feet and say Lord have your way in my life because True Deliverance is not just about being set free from something it is about being set free for something it is about coming into the fullness of God's plan for your life and sometimes before the healing comes Before the Breakthrough happens God is working something greater in you I think about the Apostle Paul here was a man who saw the power

of God in ways few ever have he performed Miracles he healed the sick he cast out demons and yet he had a thorn in his flesh something that caused him great suffering three times he prayed Lord take this away from me and what did God say my grace is sufficient for thee for my strength is made perfect in weakness oh my friends sometimes the answer to our prayer is not the removal of the trial but the revelation of his grace sometimes God does not take us out of the storm he strengthens us through it sometimes

he does not remove the fire he walks with us in it just as he did with Shadrach mhach and Abednego in the fiery furnace but if we are not surrendered we will resist his process we will fight against what he is trying to do in us we will become bitter instead of better but my friends when we surrender when when we lay it all down at his feet and say Lord whatever you want to do however you want to move I trust you that is when his power is fully released in our lives some of

you tonight need to surrender some of you have been holding on to your situation with a tight grip trying to control the outcome trying to make sense of it all but God is saying let go trust me stop trying to figure it out stop trying to force it and let me be God in your life because the moment you surrender the moment you stop striving in your own strength that is the moment his power begins to work in ways you never imagined think about Peter one night he and the other disciples were in a boat

and a great storm arose the winds were howling the waves were crashing and they were afraid and they saw Jesus walking on the water and Peter in a moment of Faith said Lord if it is you bid me to come to you on the water and Jesus said Come Peter stepped out of the boat he began to walk on the waves but then he looked at the wind he saw the storm and he began to sink and he cried out Lord save me and immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him oh my friends

some of you are in the middle of a storm right now you stepped out in faith but then fear crept in you believed for healing but the symptoms came back you trusted God for deliverance but the chains still feel heavy and you feel like you are sinking but listen to me cry out to Jesus surrender your fear surrender your doubts surrender everything to him and let him lift you up because the God who called Peter out onto the water is the same God who will not let you drown you don't have to carry this burden

alone you don't have to fight this battle in your own strength Jesus is waiting for you to surrender it all to him and when you do when you truly let go and trust him that is when healing flows that is when Deliverance comes that is when the peace that passes all understanding will flood your heart and mind because the battle is not yours it belongs to the Lord my friends when we talk about healing and deliverance we must understand something very important God moves through prayer but he also moves through obedience some of us pray

for healing pray for breakthrough pray for deliverance but then we continue walking in the very things that keep us bound we ask God to free us but we refuse to step out in faith we ask for change but we resist his leading oh my friends prayer is powerful but prayer without obedience is incomplete because when God speaks when he gives Direction when he calls us to act we must obey if we want to see his power fully at work in our lives I think about nonon the great commander of the Syrian Army he was a

man of power of position of prestige Siege but he had a problem he had leprosy and one day he heard that there was a prophet in Israel named Elisha who could help him so he traveled with his horses and chariots expecting a grand display of healing but when he arrived at Elisha's house the prophet didn't even come outside to greet him instead he sent a servant with a simple instruction go and washing the Jordan River seven times and you will be clean and non was Furious he expected something dramatic he expected Elisha to call on

the name of the Lord wave his hand and heal him instantly he didn't want to do something so simple so humbling as dipping himself in a muddy river but his servants pleaded with him and finally he obeyed he went to the river he dipped himself seven times and on the seventh time his flesh was restored like that of a little child oh my friends some of you are waiting for a miracle but God has already given you an instruction some of you are waiting for healing but God is asking for obedience maybe he has been

telling you to forgive someone who hurt you but you keep holding on to bitterness maybe he has been leading you to let go of a habit but you keep making excuses maybe he has been calling you to step out in faith but fear keeps holding you back and you wonder why you haven't seen the Breakthrough but my friends obedience is the key when God speaks when he calls when he commands we must respond in faith I think about the 10 lepers who came to Jesus in Luke 17 they cried out Jesus Master have mercy on

us and Jesus didn't lay hands on them he didn't say be healed instead he gave them a command Go and show yourselves to the priests now at that moment they were still lepers nothing had changed they still bore the marks of disease on their skin but the Bible says as they went they were cleansed oh my friends do you see it the healing didn't happen when Jesus spoke it happened when they obeyed as they walked in faith as they followed his instruction the power of God moved in their lives some of you are waiting for

everything to change before you take a step of Faith but God is saying move first and then you will see my power trust first and then you will see my hand step out first and then you will walk in the miracle because faith is not just believing it is acting on that belief the Bible says in James 2:17 faith without works is dead that means real Faith requires action if you truly believe God will deliver you then walk in that Deliverance if you truly believe he will heal you then stop speaking doubt and start speaking

life if you truly believe he will make a way then take the step he is asking you to take I think about Peter when he saw Jesus walking on the water he said Lord if it is you bid me to come to you on the water and Jesus said come now at that moment Peter had a choice he could have stayed in the boat waiting for the storm to calm down he could have said Lord make the wave stop first then I'll step out but no he obeyed he stepped out while the storm was still

raging he walked in faith and as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus he did the impossible oh my friends some of you are waiting for the storm to pass before you obey you are waiting for the conditions to be right before you take the step God is calling you to take but God is saying step out now move now trust me now because your Miracle is on the other side of your obedience think about the blind man in John N Jesus spat on the ground made mud put it on the Man's eyes and

said go wash in the pool of Siloam now Jesus could have healed him instantly but he required the man to take action the man had to make his way through the streets blind and stumbling until he reached the pool and when he obeyed when he wased as Jesus commanded his eyes were opened my friends how many times have we missed our blessing because we were unwilling to take that step step how many times have we prayed for healing but refus to forgive how many times have we asked for deliverance but continue to walk in the

same habits that keep us bound God is Not withholding his power he is waiting for your obedience the Bible says in Isaiah 1:19 if you be willing and obedient ye shall eat the good of the land the blessing is connected to obedience some of you tonight need to make a decision God has been speaking to you he he has been calling you to lay something down to walk away from something to step out in faith and you have been hesitating but tonight is the night to obey tonight is the night to say yes Lord I

will trust you I will follow you I will take that step no matter how hard it seems because the moment you do the power of God will be released in your life healing will flow Deliverance will come and you will walk in the fullness of what he has prepared for you my friends when we talk about the prayer that brings healing and deliverance we must understand one final truth when God moves when he answers when his power is poured out our response must be one of Thanksgiving and worship because when God heals you when he

sets you free when he delivers you it is not just for you to receive the blessing it is for His glory it is so that his name may be lifted high so that others may see his power and come to know him and too often we cry out desperation we plead for his Mercy but when the answer comes we forget to return in gratitude but true Faith true healing True Deliverance is not complete until it leads us to a life of worship I think about the story of the 10 lepers in Luke 17 these men

were Outcast living on the margins of society suffering from a disease that separated them from their families their communities their very lives and one day they saw Jesus and cried out Jesus Master have mercy on us and Jesus gave gave them a command go show yourselves to the priests and as they went they were healed can you imagine that moment can you imagine looking down at your hands at your skin and seeing the disease vanish their lives were restored in an instant but do you know what happened next only one of them only one turned

back to give thanks only one came running back to Jesus fell at his feet and worshiped him and Jesus said were there not 10 cleansed but where are the nine my friends how many times has God answered our prayers and yet we have been like the nine who never came back how many times have we cried out in our time of need but when the answer came we moved on without truly giving him the honor and the praise he deserves I believe that one of the greatest tragedies in the church today is that we have

lost the power of gratitude we pray and ask for healing but when God heals we fail to testify we ask for deliverance but when he sets us free we fail to Proclaim it but my friends when God moves in your life when he works a miracle when he brings you out of the pit you cannot keep it to yourself you must declare his goodness you must lift up your voice in Thanksgiving because Thanksgiving is not just something we do it is the key to remaining in the presence of God the Bible says in Psalm 104

enter into his gates with Thanksgiving and into his courts with praise be thankful ful unto him and bless his name that means Thanksgiving is what brings us into his presence worship is what keeps Us near him some of you have been delivered but you have lost your fire because you have lost your gratitude some of you have received healing but you no longer walk in the joy of that healing because you have forgotten to praise the one who gave it to you but if you want to live in the fullness of his power if you

want to continue to walk in his presence then you must be a person of worship I think about Paul and Silas in Acts 16 they had been beaten thrown into prison Locked In Chains but instead of complaining instead of giving into fear they began to pray and sing praises to God and what happened the prison shook the chains fell off and the doors flew open oh my friends do you see it worship has the power to break chains thanks giving has the power to shake the very foundations of your bondage because when you praise you

invite the presence of God into your situation and where his presence is there is freedom some of you tonight have been set free but you are still walking in a prison of Silence you have been healed but you have not lifted your voice in Praise You have received an answer but you have not testified of what God has done and I am here to tell you your testimony is a weapon your praise is a weapon Revelation 12:11 says and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony that

means every time you declare what God has done every time you lift your voice in worship you are pushing back the enemy you are standing in Victory I think about King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20 he was surrounded by enemies outnumbered facing an impossible battle and do you know what he did he sent the singers out ahead of the army he put the worshippers on the front lines and as they began to sing as they began to praise God moved the enemy was thrown into confusion and they destroyed themselves before Israel even had to fight

oh my friends when you praise God fights for you when you worship the enemy has no choice but to flee some of you tonight need to start praising before you see the answer some of you need to start worshiping Before the Breakthrough comes because faith faith is not just thanking God after the miracle it is praising him before it happens it is lifting your voice in confidence saying God I know you are faithful I know you are good I know you will do what you have promised and when you do his presence will fill your

life like never before I don't know what God has done for you but I know he has done something I don't know what prayers he has answered but I know he has been faithful and tonight I want to challenge you don't don't be like the nine lepers who walked away without giving thanks be like the one who returned be like Paul and Silas who sang in The Midnight Hour be like Jehoshaphat who put praise before the battle lift up your voice declare his goodness and as you do you will see the power of God continue
