The Onis or Demons in Demon Slayer are human beings who have been infected with the blood of a demon called Muzan Kibutsuji, the main antagonist of the series. He injects his blood into people who undergo a transformation, acquiring powers such as super speed, resistance and special abilities, in addition to, of course, an insatiable thirst for blood. Only among all these oni, there is an organization composed of the 12 strongest beings among the demons, who are second only in strength and authority to Muzan himself.
And that's why in this video, Ultra Nerd brings you EVERYTHING about the most powerful demons from Kimetsu no Yaiba, The 12 Moons of the Demon King, the 12 Kizuki from Muzan Kibtsuji. So guys, already activate your Kekkijutsu from the like and also activate your Kekkijutsu from the subscription with the bell activated, so you don't miss any news from the channel. If you've already done this and already given that strength!
So let's go to the video. Each member of the 12 Kizuki received a large portion of Muzan's blood, greater than any other demon, increasing his power exponentially. As proof of this, all members of the 12 Kizuki can use Blood Demon Arts to a high degree, which are supernatural powers and techniques manifested through blood that only powerful demons have access to.
The 12 Kizuki are divided into two groups, the Upper 6, numbered from 1 to 6, and the Lower 6, also numbered from 1 to 6. The number signifies their ranking among the Twelve Kizuki, determined by each member's strength level. , with Upper Moon 1 being the strongest and Lower Moon 6 being the weakest.
Lesser Moons have their numbers and ranks engraved on only one eye, while Superiors have their numbers on one eye and the kanji for "Upper Class" on the other eye. When a member of the group is removed from the 12 Kizuki, Muzan demotes those members by cutting out their eyes where the number that signifies their rank is located, creating an "X" shaped scar over the digit, signifying that they are no longer part of the group. of the group.
Each of the Upper Moons has a level of power that far surpasses the power of the Lower Moons. To give you an idea, while the Lesser Echelons have been replaced countless times throughout history, the Upper Echelons have not changed for over 100 years. Well.
. . with that let's get to know each one of them!
We will start from the weakest Inferior to the strongest Superior. LOWER MOON 6 There are 2 known demons that once held this position, Kamanue and Kyogai. Kyogai, also known as Demon of the Drm, is one of the first antagonists of the work and was the predecessor of Kamanue.
In his human life, Kyogai led a difficult life, where he was constantly ridiculed by everyone around him. He dreamed of being a writer and also played drums as a hobby, but no one supported his talent. One day, he met Muzan, who gave Kyogai his blood and turned him into an Oni.
And even though he was an Oni, he was still attached to his human dream of being a writer. So he hid his new powers and continued to live among humans. That is until the day he showed his writings to a certain man, who not only verbally insulted Kyogai, but also trampled on his work.
That was the last straw for Kyogai, who consumed by demonic desire, used his Oni powers and brutally slaughtered this guy. After that, Kyogai abandoned his dream and also his humanity. He devoured so many people that he managed to rise to the rank of Lower Moon 6.
But he slowly lost his ability to eat humans, which made Muzan banish him from the 12 Kizuki, since he had reached his evolutionary limit. From then on, Kyogai desperately sought to return to that post, but was never able to fulfill his wish. Kyogai has 6 Tsuzumi drums located on different parts of his body, and his Blood Demon Art involves manipulating the environment around him with each beat of his drums, with each drum having a different function.
Each of them makes the room Kyogai is in rotate in a certain direction, with the exception of one that creates an invisible attack and another that teleports him to another room. The drum on the right shoulder causes the room to rotate to the right, the drum on the left causes the room to rotate to the left side. The drum on the right leg moves the room forward, the drum on the left backwards.
The one on the navel creates air cuts, as if they were 3 large claws of a wild animal. And finally, the drum on its back sends the target to other parts of the mansion. However, this technique's range is only limited to the inner parts of Kyogai's mansion.
However, Kyogai itself is unaffected by the change in gravity caused by its drums. And when he plays his drums at incredibly fast speed, all of his techniques are strengthened and the number of claws of his slashing attack increases from 3 to 5. After Kyogai was banished from the 12 Kizuki, Kamanue took his place.
He is the weakest Lua, being only and probably stronger than Kyogai. Information about him is almost nil, but it can be said that he was a very nervous individual who constantly had a scared expression on his face, which probably has to do with the fact that he felt weak due to being in the lowest position of the Lower Moons. .
He appeared to be constantly nervous during his short time in the Infinity Castle, hinting at a fearful personality. The death of Rui, the last Upper Moon 4, brought Muzan into utter disbelief and displeasure with the Lower Moons, calling them all to a meeting. In that meeting, between sermons, Kamanue thinks and complains that it is easy for Muzan to complain about the deaths of the Lower Moons, but Muzan hears this blessed thought and executes Kamanue, starting the bloodbath for him.
LUA INFERIOR 5 Rui is Lua Inferior 5 and one of the first antagonists of the work. Born in a weak and debilitated body, which found it difficult to even walk, he lived a difficult life, but not a lost one, as he was from a well-off family with loving parents. One night, Rui was approached by Muzan, who manipulated the boy who wanted to be healthy and turned him into a demon.
As Rui now had a strong body, he was finally able to move freely for the first time, which made his parents extremely happy. However, this did not last long, as his need for human flesh would lead him to kill a man inside his home. When this scene was discovered by his parents, they decided that the only way to save their son, unfortunately, was to kill him while he was sleeping.
However, as Rui was now an Oni, this attempt did not have much effect. But this ended up infuriating Rui, who ruthlessly killed his parents. But before his mother dies, she apologizes and says that they only did it to try to prevent Rui from becoming a monster, since they were his parents and they loved him.
And even if Rui had been confused by that, almost realizing the situation he was in, that didn't help much, since Muzan returned to encourage Rui's anger, reaffirming the lie of the parents just being repulsed by their son Oni. Time passed, Rui became Lua Inferior 5 and asked Muzan for a family, who in turn authorized it. So, over time Rui gathered false family members, which in this case were other demons.
Thus, he formed his Demon Clan, which was known as the Spider Family. Through his blood, Rui is able to increase another demon's overall power and also change their physical appearance to something more arachnid. And that's how he created and strengthened each member of his family, who were originally all weak demons.
In terms of skill and power, Rui was revealed to be just as powerful as Inferior Moon 1 and 2, despite being ranked as the second weakest member of the 12 Kizuki. This was due to him sharing his blood with members of his "family", where he ended up giving them portions of his own strength. With that, Rui weakened a lot, to the point that he could no longer fight decently against a Hashira.
Rui's Blood Demon Art allows him to create incredibly fine threads from his own cells and manipulate them as he sees fit. He normally extends the strings from his fingertips like a puppet master. Due to his own body's durability, the wires he manipulates are extremely durable and sharp, being able to cut as well as Nichirin swords and block attacks from them as well.
Rui can further amplify his strength and durability by pumping his blood through the strands, giving them a blood red color. LUA INFERIOR 4 Mukago is another Oni that was very little developed in the work. She, being the Inferior 4, is possibly above all the others mentioned so far, taking Rui with her full power.
She was one of those questioned by Rui's death, in addition to having received a lecture directly from Muzan. Mukago is the third to be killed by the Demon King, and that's because Muzan says they chicken out even at the slightest mention of a Pillar's name. .
. Well, she denies it, Muzan sees it as disrespect. .
. She begs for forgiveness , but that doesn't matter to the arrogant King, who soon executes her. LOWER MOON 3 The third of the lower moons, Wakuraba is another one that offers little information, although it showed us good agility when moving around the Infinite Castle when trying to escape from Muzan.
Be honest, that animated scene was too cool, wasn't it? Wakuraba was one of the most loyal to Muzan, because even when he saw his comrades being brutally executed, he only thought about improving himself to live up to Muzan's expectations. However, even though he respected his leader's decision, he didn't want to be killed by him.
Wakuraba noticed that Muzan read the Luas' thoughts, in addition to having realized through the deaths of Mukago and Kamanue that regardless of what they said, Muzan would kill everyone there. Well, then he had the brilliant idea, as bright as a cave… yeah, you know what I'm talking about… He ran… And lost his mind. LOWER MOON 2 The Second Lower Moon is Rokuro, another among those killed by Muzan at the meeting.
And as with the other lesser moons, he both respected and feared Muzan as his leader. After almost all of the Lower Ranks were killed by Muzan, Rokuro was visibly afraid that the same would happen to him, and resorted to begging his leader for more blood to increase his strength and thus be spared. Rokuro seemed to be very confident in the potential of his abilities as a Demon, as he claimed that if he was given a little more of Muzan's blood, he would become a high-ranking combatant of the 12 Kizuki.
Rokuro was the last Lesser Moon to fall at the King's hands. His death was basically due to having ''said what to do'' to Muzan, I say this because the king interpreted Rokuro's request for more blood as an ''order''… Well, you know, right? Villain hears only what he wants.
. . LOWER MOON 1 Enmu is possibly the most powerful Lower Moon, and the primary grade among the demons of the second highest hierarchy.
. . When he was human, he was totally detached from reality, since his childhood he he was not able to distinguish the difference between dreams and reality, and this caused many problems for the people around him.
As an adult, even though he was not a doctor, he used hypnotic therapy to make patients with serious health conditions believe that they had cured their illnesses. And then he would reveal that it was all a lie, which left the patients in despair. One night, Enmu ended up crossing the path of Muzan, who decided to devour him.
. . and at first he would not be transformed into a demon.
And even though he was eaten alive, the only thing he did was praise Muzan, which ended up convincing the Demon Lord to turn him into an Oni. But Enmu knew that he had been transformed out of Kibutsuji's pure pity, and that he would probably be just one of the thousands of Oni already transformed. So from then on, Enmu did his best to rise to the rank of Inferior Moon “1”, and he was the only Inferior spared in the Infinite Castle meeting.
Why? Well, he gave Muzan what Muzan wanted, which is basically applause, submission and a good kiss-off. Enmu claimed that he loved to see the suffering of his former comrades, he said that he loves suffering and that it was an honor to die by his lord's hand.
Muzan then gave him a generous amount of his blood, but with one catch: Enmu should execute the one who hunts his race wearing the Hanafuda earrings. . .
He should hunt down and kill Tanjiro. As Lesser Moon 1, Enmu was possibly the strongest Lesser Moon and closest to matching the Upper Moons in strength. And when he received more blood from Muzan, his abilities and physical attributes were further enhanced.
Enmu was able to manipulate his organic matter to absorb and fuse his body with large, inanimate objects, just like he did with a train carrying over 200 passengers. In his fused form, every inch of the Train had become part of his body, which allowed him to completely distort the Train's appearance, as well as being able to create tentacles coming from it to attack his enemies. Enmu could also create detachments of flesh from his own body, being able to create and detach one of his own hands, which he would send to certain places as if it had a life of its own.
With that, he was able to communicate and see through that hand, using an existing eye and mouth on it. Another thing he could do was create a clone of himself that he controlled as a puppet to trick his opponents. Enmu's Demonic Blood Art grants him the ability to force anyone into a deep sleep, which leaves his enemies vulnerable and unable to fight.
The induced sleep is quite potent and requires considerable effort to wake up, as seen when Nezuko headbutted Tanjiro, and even then it had no effect. Furthermore, he was able to simultaneously affect over 200 passengers on the Train he hijacked, not counting Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku. The secondary ability of Enmu's Demonic Blood Art is his power to enter, manipulate and control one's dreams when they are asleep.
When using his technique, his victims can experience joyful dreams or even nightmares, which are so real that people are unable to distinguish dream from reality. By trapping someone within his dreams, Enmu can also enter his victims' subconscious and destroy their "Spirit Core", which destroys the target's mind and leaves their body as if it were a shell. But despite all that, Enmu realized after his defeat that he still wasn't at the level of a Higher Rank demon and that he was weak even when compared to the weakest of the Higher Moons.
Now let's move on to the biggest ones below Muzan, the Upper Moons. LUA SUPERIOR 6 We already had 4 known demons occupying this position, they are Daki, Gyutaro and Kaigaku. However, Gyutaro and Daki occupied that position together.
. . calm down, you'll understand.
So, let's start talking first about the oni duo. Gyutaro was born very poor, from the lowest class in the Entertainment District. Throughout his childhood, he was frequently humiliated by the district's residents on account of his appearance, voice and poor hygiene.
His mother constantly beat and even tried to kill him at times, and that only stopped the day she ended up dying of syphilis. But before she died, her mother gave birth to her sister named Ume, who would later be known as Daki. Ume was an incredibly beautiful girl and adored by everyone, that is, the complete opposite of Gyutaro.
And because of that, she was soon called to work in a prestigious brothel in the District, and Gyutaro worked as her “collector”, collecting the debts of the brothel. At the age of 13, when Gyutaro returned home from work, he found his sister tied up and nearly burned to death, which sent him into a state of shock. His sister had been punished for gouging out a samurai's eye during an argument.
And soon after, that same samurai arrived at the place along with the brothel manager, and the two also planned to kill Gyutaro. The Samurai made a failed attempt to kill Gyutaro, which made him even more enraged. And what happened was that Gyutaro ended up killing both men with his scythe.
Desperate and injured, Gyutaro then picked up his sister's charred body and carried her across the entire Hanamachi district in search of help. But unfortunately, not a living soul showed up to help them. And that's when something happens that changes the lives of the two brothers forever.
They found a guy who was around the district to devour some young women. That man was Douma, the then Lua Superior 6, and later the last Lua Superior 2. He offers to help the brothers, and turns the 2 into demons.
. . the two accepted because Douma said he was someone '' good people '' .
Douma then proposed a mission to them, which was to be strong enough to be called by Muzan to become Kizukis. . .
And that happened. As a demon, Daki and Gyutaro continued to reside in the Entertainment District and continued to terrorize the inhabitants there. After an unknown number of years, the brothers were finally noticed and recognized by Muzan and given the rank of Upper Moon 6, which they then shared with each other.
Over the years, Gyutaro has successfully killed and eaten at least 15 Hashiras, while his sister Daki has killed and eaten 7 of them. The brothers have a shared biology, as Gyutaro resides in Daki's body, but they have different abilities. Gyutaro has all the supernatural attributes of a high-level Oni, such as resistance, regeneration, speed and strength far above an ordinary oni.
He has the ability to separate his "core" from his own body, as he can move and move parts of it around Daki's body; He possesses off-the-shelf perception due to his psychic link with Daki, where he can see, hear, and feel everything she does. . .
and can even take control of her body. He is nearly immune to decapitations, as he needs to be killed at the same time as his sister to die for good; And like all demons, he can manipulate his own flesh, an ability he mainly uses to mold his flesh into extremely sharp Kama that he can still control telekinetically. Gyutaro's Demonic Blood Art allows him to manipulate his own body's blood in various ways, being able to create weapons and objects of all kinds.
In combat, he creates blood scythes as durable and sharp as blades, which can travel at incredible speeds, and he can also manipulate their movements at will until they reach their target. Lastly, Gyutaro can also generate an extremely lethal poison, which he uses to coat his scythes in blood. A lot, right?
There is still Daki, who has the same resistance to decapitation, the same extrasensory psychic link as Gyutaro, and physical attributes and biological capabilities that are great as a high-grade Oni, but even less than Gyutaro's. She possesses the ability to manipulate her own hair, possibly as an extension of her shapeshifting and flesh manipulation abilities. Daki's Blood Demon Art allows her to create flower-patterned Obi sashes from her flesh.
These bands are smooth as silk, yet as sharp as most Nichirin swords. They are so powerful that they can repel and block Tengen's explosive attacks and cut through buildings with ease. Additionally, her sashes have a unique property that allows Daki to store humans inside them so she can devour them later.
Lastly, these tracks may have enough consciousness to act on their own and may possess a fair share of Daki's strength. Well, that's about the Lua Superior 6 brothers, now we're going to talk about Kaigaku. He was an orphan who stole to survive.
. . and check out this plot: he was one of the children that Gyomei took care of in her temple.
. . After he was caught stealing by the other children, he was expelled and ended up clashing with a demon , which he then let into Gyomei's temple in exchange for having his life spared.
He clung to the ideal that surviving and being strong was the only thing that mattered, no matter the means. He later became Jigoro's student, and learned the Thunder Breath. He stuck with the idea that he should be Jigoro's successor as Hashira of Thunder, but the elder master insisted that he and Zenitsu would be his successors together.
After a while, Kaigaku ended up disinheriting humanity and accepted being transformed into a demon by Kokushibo. This greatly embarrassed his former master Jigoro, who committed suicide in Seppuku. Later, with the fall of the Sister Moons, Kaigaku would then become Superior Moon 6 and face his former comrade Zenitsu in a battle at the Infinity Castle.
Kaigaku was an extremely powerful demon, he had all the extremely strong physical attributes of a high-grade Oni, he possessed all forms of the Breath of Thunder (except for the first one), and he combined his swordsmanship skills acquired when he was a hunter with his powers. demonic. His strength is further enhanced by the fact that he had to receive a lot of blood from Muzan to transform into a demon, as Breath users are more resistant to the effects of the Demon King's blood.
Zenitsu also noted that Kaigaku had eaten many humans in a short period of time, further testifying to his strength. As a Breath of Thunder user and at the same time a Superior grade demon, Kaigaku was extremely fast in his movements and reflexes. In addition, he had his Demonic Blood Art to complement his Breath, which granted him special electro-kinetic abilities that allowed him to generate and manipulate black-colored lightning and electricity from his flesh and blood.
This lightning-like ability created a special effect that cracked and tore its target's flesh while burning it, greatly increasing the lethality and offensive capability of its attacks. However, as noted by Yushiro, Kaigaku still did not have full mastery over his techniques and abilities, and this was the decisive factor in his defeat. UPPER MOON 5 Managi, the future Gyokko, lived in a coastal fishing village and was hated for frequently collecting fish carcasses and doing other strange things.
He lost his parents at a young age, when they went fishing one day and ended up drowning. So, the others in the village started to distance themselves from Managi, thinking that he had gone mad, as he was fascinated by the beauty of his parents' drowned bodies. At one point, his lonely life was interrupted by a child who bothered him, so he became angry and ended up killing the child and putting his body inside a jar.
In revenge, the child's parents stabbed Managi with fishing forks and left him there to die. Only half a day had passed and he was still alive, and that's when he was found by Muzan, who turned him into a demon. And like Oni, he began to take a liking to humans and especially children.
Gyokko possesses all the attributes of a powerful high-grade Oni and is possibly above the ancient 3 Moons 6. In addition to having extremely strong physical attributes, he possesses flesh manipulation and can release his true form out of the vessel to become more free and adapted for combat. In this form he can move very well without having to teleport, in addition to having scales that are supposedly harder than diamonds.
And as an offense, he has a transmuting touch that turns everything he touches into fish. Her Demonic Blood Art revolves around her porcelain vases. He can spawn them anywhere around him and create multiple pots of varying sizes at once.
Gyokko uses his vessels to teleport between them, which allows him to travel long distances with minimal effort, as well as dodging attacks easily. He can also trap objects (such as people) inside his vessels and can compress and fuse anything inside them. If the object he wants to seal is too large, the vessels can simply compress them to fit inside them.
Gyokko's Blood Demon Art is notably themed around the sea and aquatic lifeforms, as its techniques are based on summoning fish-like creatures from its pots. These monster fish also have different skills and characteristics. Some of them can fire a barrage of poisonous needles at their targets or leave behind dangerous acid when killed.
Gyokko can also summon giant octopus tentacles from her vessels to contain her enemies or destroy everything around her. Lastly, Gyokko can also manipulate and create water from his porcelain vessels, which he uses to suffocate his targets. UPPER MOON 4 In this position, we have 2 onis that have already passed through it, Hantengu and Nakime.
So let's start with Hantengu. As a human, he committed many unforgivable crimes, he robbed and killed in countless towns and cities, but he always maintained his lie of being innocent. Your excuse?
Well, it wasn't him, but his ''hands'' that committed those crimes. But his excuse didn't do much good, because he ended up being captured and sentenced to death. Waiting for the death sentence to be fulfilled, he was approached by Muzan, who took pity on Hatengu and ended up giving him his blood to turn him into a demon.
With that, he managed to escape from prison and killed the magistrate who sentenced him to death. Hantengu has the physiology, attributes, and biology of a high-grade Oni, possibly being superior to all Luas below him. His Blood Demon Art allows him to manifest his emotions as powerful younger clones of himself, with their own unique appearances, personalities, and abilities.
Each cloning has a Hantengu emotion, so Hantengu can control them or give them autonomy to act. Each of them has a Kanji tattoo which is the mark that says which emotion they embody, and to make matters worse, they only die if Hantengu dies first. This ability activates when Hantengu has his head decapitated, where his head and body transform into two separate clones, with these clones also splitting into two after being decapitated.
However, they are stronger when they are in a foursome. Furthermore, his clones will never die while the main body is still alive, making it almost impossible to fight and defeat Hantengu alone. But to relieve the hunters a little, these clones have a weakness in the tongue, because if it is hit their body regeneration is weakened for a few moments.
Each of his clones also has a Demonic Blood Art. Sekido can summon lightning from the sky or from his Khakkhara. The lightning generated has a wide area of effect and can cause those struck by it to lose consciousness or paralyze their opponents in an instant, allowing it to subdue multiple targets at once.
Karaku can generate and manipulate wind using his Uchiwa. When he swings his Uchiwa, a gust of wind is generated strong enough to launch hunters through the air, leaving gigantic craters and destroying buildings. Aizetsu can use his spear by sending it great distances with throws, allowing him to attack his targets from afar.
The Urogi possesses bird-like features and attributes, such as wings and sharp claws, which allow it to fly at incredibly fast speeds, while its claws are powerful enough to cut through diamonds. He can also generate powerful sound waves from his scream. There is also the Zohakuten form, which is created when the 4 clones merge into a single form.
Zohakuten's Blood Demon Art allows him to manipulate and alter the wood of the flora around him by playing one of the many drums on his back. He uses this ability primarily to shape the wood into 5 huge dragon heads that can stretch up to twenty meters in length. It uses these dragon heads to bite its targets or to swallow and crush them within its jaws.
Since Zohakuten originated from the combination of Sekido, Karaku, Aizetsu, and Urogi, he can use enhanced versions of the Blood Demon Arts of all four of these clones. So, dragon heads made of wood can unleash lightning like Sekido, generate powerful gusts of wind that leave gigantic craters like Karaku, emit powerful sound waves like Urogi, and manifest Aizetsu's spear attacks. And finally, there's also Urami that can change its size to large proportions.
Now speaking of Nakime, she became Moon 4 after Hantengu's death. In the past, Nakime was an amateur musician from Biwa and tried to make ends meet with her craft. But her husband was addicted to gambling and used all the money in the house to gamble, increasingly depleting the funds that would be used for support.
Close to a Biwa performance, Nakime realizes that her husband stole and discarded her presentation dress, she became furious and killed her husband with a hammer. Shortly after, she needed to get to her performance quickly, so she was required to wear an informal, worn dress for the occasion. The audience didn't like it very much and pressured Nakime for the appearance of her outfit, this added to her nervousness for having committed a murder recently.
Pois bem, gostou? !
