believe the dead know nothing and cease to exist Beyond physical death they often refer to verses like Ecclesiastes 9:5 and Psalm 146 however these verses don't contradict other parts of the Bible that suggest the soul remains conscious after death instead they describe the physical state of the Dead the verses don't mean the soul loses all awareness in fact passages like Matthew 25 546 and Luke 16:19-31 reveal that the dead experience Eternal Consciousness either in heaven or hell with the ability to think and remember Ecclesiastes written from an Earthly perspective focuses on life Under the Sun

our physical world from this Viewpoint death marks the end of Earthly activity the dead can no longer interact with life as they once did but the Bible ible also shows that the soul is eternal transitioning from one realm to another 1 Thessalonians 5:23 even after the body dies the soul continues to exist in the afterlife so instead of believing that life only happens here on Earth let's embrace the true teachings of Jesus Christ with that foundation in place let's move forward have you ever wondered if your loved ones can still see you from Beyond or

if they feel emotions like peace or regret even Beyond this life could they still remember us and watch over us as many have believed before we go on let's quickly look at the feelings of our final moment on Earth for instance imagine having the knowledge of the final moments before your departure from this world at the end of life when you're fully aware that the time is near the experience is profound and deeply personal the reality that sets in is likely a mixture of emotions and thoughts which shift as death approaches some describe this moment

as a spiritual awakening where a sense of peace or even a feeling of something beyond the physical world sets in at the moment of death Everything Changes the weight of the world Slips Away leaving us with powerful questions about the life we have lived in those final moments there's likely a deep reflection on the meaning of ordinary things one might ask was my life meaningful did I fulfill my purpose am I ready to go now for some this brings peace if they feel they've lived well for others it could bring sorrow or regret beyond all

this there's often a quiet longing for rest for an end to the suffering of this world and perhaps a hope for something better Beyond this raises a common question in the final moments where am I going or what happens after I die throughout history people have wondered what happens after we die different cultures and religions offer a variety of perspectives on the afterlife but today we'll focus on what the Bible says about the state of the Dead while also touching on some extra biblical sources let let's start with the biblical perspective according to the Bible

the afterlife is a complex topic with different phases and experiences depending on one's faith in the Old Testament the concept of shaol is introduced shol is depicted as a shadowy place where the dead reside both the righteous and the wicked Ecclesiastes 9:10 says whatever your hand finds to do do it with all your might for in the realm of the Dead where you are going there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom it's a realm of the Dead somewhat neutral and more of a holding place the New Testament however offers more details Jesus

speaks of a place called Abraham's bosom or Paradise where the righteous dead go Luke 1622 to 23 says the time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side the rich man also died and was buried in Hades where he was in torment he looked up and saw Abraham far away way with Lazarus by his side Luke further went on in ch 23 and: 43 quoting Jesus's words about Paradise been a place that first receives the souls of the righteous and the forgiven this is contrasted with Hades a place of Torment

for the wicked however where is that place where someone can easily see Hades the place of torment and Paradise at the same time where can one see both The Souls of the righteous and the ungodly together at a short proximity there is only one place in the whole universe the third heaven the third heaven is the first place that receives the souls of men who exited the Earth realm through death Paul the Apostle was once invited to the third heaven however couldn't say or explain what he heard and saw in this mysterious place here are

his words I Know a Man in Christ talking about himself who 14 years ago was caught up to the third heaven whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know God knows and I know that this man whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know but God knows was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things things that no one is permitted to tell what did Paul heard or saw in the third heaven but was restricted from sharing an ancient text known as the apocryphal

Book of Enoch throws more light on what Paul saw Enoch a Bible character briefly mentioned in the Book of Genesis was invited by God to the celestial he was taken through the 10 heavens of God and gave a detailed explanation of each Heaven as he was shown to explore in details the 10 heavens of God revealed to the prophet Enoch check the link of my video about the 10 Heavens Enoch saw in the description it will take you through the Journey of the different mysterious Heavens from The Book of Enoch so the transport of Enoch

through the first and second Heavens was great but has a Twist when he got to the third heaven what he saw gave him a mixed feelings he saw heaven and hell coexisting in one location just as Jesus explained in Luke 16 2 Enoch 8 9 and 10 gives the exact words of Enoch and those men took me then and led me up onto the third heaven and placed me there and I looked downwards and saw the produce of these places such as has never been known for goodness and I saw all the sweet flowering trees

and beheld their fruits which were sweet smell smelling and all the foods borne by them bubbling with fragrant exhalation and in the midst of the trees that of life in that place where on the Lord rests when he goes up into paradise and this tree is of ineffable goodness and fragrance and adorned more than every existing thing and on all sides it is in form gold looking and Vermilion and fire likee and covers all and it has produced from all fruits its root is in the garden at the Earth's end and Paradise is between corrupt

and incorruptibility and two Springs come out which send forth honey and milk and their Springs send forth oil and wine and they separate into four parts and go round with quiet course and go down into the paradise of Eden between corruptibility and incorruptibility and I said how very sweet is this place and those men said to me this place o Enoch is prepared for the righteous who endure all manner of offense from those that exasperate their souls who avert their eyes from iniquity and make righteous judgment and give bread to the hungering and cover the

naked with clothing and raise up the fallen and help injured orphans and who walk without fault before the face of the Lord and serve him alone and for them is prepared this place for Eternal inheritance but here is the contrast and those two men led me up onto the northern side and showed me there a very terrible place and there were all manner of tortures in that place cruel darkness and unilluminated Gloom and there is no light there but murky fire constantly flaming a loft and there is a fiery River coming forth and that whole

place is everywhere fire and everywhere there is Frost and Ice thirst and shivering while the bonds are very cruel and the angels fearful and merciless bearing angry weapons merciless torture and I said wo how very terrible is this place and those men said to me this place o Enoch is prepared for those who dishonor God who on Earth practice sin against nature which is child corruption after the sodomitical witchcrafts and who boast of their wicked Deeds stealing lies calumnies Envy ranker fornication murder and who a cursed steal the souls of men who seeing the poor

take away their goods and themselves wax Rich injuring them for other men's Goods who being able to satisfy the empty made the hungering to die being able to clothe strip the naked and who knew not their creator and bowed to the soulless and lifeless gods who cannot see nor hear vain Gods who also built hee images and bow down to unclean handiwork for all these is prepared this place among these for Eternal inheritance so we see from Enoch's account where the souls of the Dead are however the Book of Revelation describes a future resurrection and

final judgment where the dead are raised and judged according to their deeds Revelation 20123 this is the final judgment All Souls in the third heaven will be summoned Before the Throne of God after this judgment Believers are promised eternal life in a new Heaven and new earth Revelation 2114 while the wicked face Eternal separation from God forever so what are dead people doing right now according to the Bible the righteous dead are in a state of peace and comfort awaiting the final resurrection and eternal life with God the wicked however are in a state of
