this man right here is Cristiano Ronaldo one of the fastest most explosive and most aggressive attackers in the world of soccer something that I've always admired about Ronaldo is that he has the perfect athletic physique a balance of skill stamina power speed strength and muscle whereas I might have the muscle but lack many of the other characteristics that create an athletic physique so for the next week I'm going to be following Ronaldo's daily routine which is known to be one of the toughest out there and we'll see just how quickly I can improve my soccer skills and see what kind of training Foods or habits I've been missing out on to become one of the best now I don't have any kind of soccer closer gear for this challenge so for the next 10 minutes I want you guys to fully deck me out here's my cart there's no budget here's the cart let's do it now as these guys load on my cart I should probably tell you who they are this is Brandon and estabon they're two of the biggest soccer influencers on Tik Tok and will be coaching me for the next week making sure I follow Ronaldo's training to the tea after decking me out with over $800 in soccer gear that's a good fit it was now time to set some PRS to see how much I progressed after a full week of intense training Ronaldo was known to be explosive with a vertical of 30 in so my first test was the vertical jump my best attempt was around 28 in and my goal was to hit 30 by the end of the week the second PR was a timed 30 m Sprint since Ronaldo is known to be quite fast I'm going to race Brandon Brandon versus Brandon he thinks he can beat me but we'll see what happens go no oh stupid my next test was to see how many goals I could score out of 10 five will be pass me on the ground and five in the air that's right one baby oh come on last one here we go okay well one out of 10 baby let's go now lastly Ronaldo is known for scoring some insane headers so I'm going going to test how many I can score out of 10 okay hey woo one one two out of 10 out 10 not bad a lot of improvement a lot of we're going to do a lot of work with my PR set in place we finished our training session with a few drills and it was now time to officially start Ronaldo's routine 500 a. m. Ronaldo wakes up at 5:00 a.
m. every day so that he can be up before everyone else to go and train for the training session he enjoys full body calisthenic workouts so I followed one that he posted on YouTube my body's used to sleeping in until around 9 or 10 which made working out so early feel awful but this was nothing compared to the training to come later that day according to the internet Ronaldo likes to eat around six small meals a day and it's typically high protein and very clean in particular he likes fish he also likes avocado toast for this breakfast I'm having avocado toast with some tune on top and in about 30 minutes I have my next training session with Brandon and Es B so I'm really going to need all the nutrients from this meal what are we uh we going to do some hard work today what do we got planned conditioning little conditioning little running oh God okay that's the worst part for me we're going to do three running drills today the first one you're going to have the ball above your head and you're going to run from the six which is this line right here back the 18 back you're going to keep the ball above your head the entire time be feeling it and definitely was feeling it towards the end usually do the full field but we're just we're just cutting it yeah girl number two a three this one's going to be a little longer we're going to do this one for 15 minutes 20 seconds walking 20 seconds jogging 20 seconds sprinting it's just a walk first it's just walk okay you're going to this is when you get your rest I like this you're going to you're going to really enjoy this walk part nice slow jog all right now Sprint for 20 seconds keep going Sprint Sprint Sprint Sprint Sprint Sprint way faster come on keep sprinting keep sprinting keep sprinting 10 seconds one walk nice and slow first round he's got 14 more this drill felt like it was lasting forever my quads and calvs were on fire but my drive to improve my cardio and strengthen my legs was stronger than the pain and I pushed myself the full 15 minutes there we go that was brutal dude the final drill was three different stations that would work on my agility and footwork estabon made these drills look easy but I quickly realized how hard it actually is my legs were already burnt out from the previous drills so I really had to push myself to get through all the rounds for each station okay my legs are actually dead I'm glad I got this rug recently I'm just going to lay on it this routine is going great and all and I'm improving but the one thing that is killing me other than my legs is the amount of food that I have to cook in order to hit 5 to six meals a day so to save myself some time I'm just going to meal prep for the next one two maybe 3 hours I'm going to cook up a bunch of chicken some steak rice sweet potato and I'm going to meal prep it so hopefully I'll have enough meals to last me through the rest of the week and I won't have to worry so much about cooking constantly although Ronaldo trains constantly he takes recovery very seriously and allows at least two rest days every week because my body is so sore I decided to take my first rest day today for this recovery day I rolled out my muscles and took three 90-minute naps as Ronaldo typically takes around 5 90-minute naps a day in order to maximize the amount he can train now of course we're training like Ronaldo so we can't just rest the entire day even though it's our rest day Ronaldo still likes to swim or run on his rest days and I decided to do some swimming at the end of my swim session I threw in another recovery method Ronaldo uses which is hydrotherapy this involves switching every few minutes between hot and cold water to help circulate the blood in the body now this isn't all that Ronaldo does on his rest day in fact he does much crazier and more expensive things which I'm going to be trying myself on my second rest day this week waking up at 5:00 a. m.
