over the past 2 years I have made millions of dollars for myself and my copyrighting clients with the eight email welcome sequence that I'm about to show you that you can essentially copy and paste into any single email list and make money and if you're wondering exactly how that's possible I'll explain it so simple that a 5-year-old could easily understand so whenever somebody actually signs up to an email list meaning they give a business their email in exchange for a product or service that's free or paid they are going to get a welcome sequence this
welcome sequence is maybe a seven or eight email welcome sequence that's sent to their email address over the course of 1 to two weeks and the great part is that this is done automatically it is set it and forget it you write this email sequence once you set it up in their email service provider and it sends and sends and sends to the new people who sign up every day so if you want to not only copy my exact $1 million welcome email sequence strategy but also learn how you can sell these eight emails for

which could range anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000 or even more depending on how the deal turns out and how the welcome sequence actually performs now this is something that my students have been doing and actually earning semi- passive income themselves when they get a commission deal so they set up the welcome sequence and then all the money earned from that welcome sequence they get a cut of so if that welcome sequence is making let's say $8,000 every single month then they're going to get even if they have a 10% commission $800 every single month when
they set it up only once this is why welcome sequence automation are essentially semi- passive Revenue so I just want to give you guys a disclaimer here also all the info that I'm giving in this video has been proven to work time and time again from multiple email lists that I've worked on dozens of split tests that I've run and hundreds of little tweaks has led to the reliability of the email sequence strategy that I'm about to show you also the application for the one toone coaching is in the description a lot of you guys
are going to be commenting on about it or asking about it every time I show people's wins so that's down there I'm not going to give you too many details right here but if you want literally every single thing if you want to know about it know what it is know how it works the link to that is in the description so we're going to go and take a look at what a welcome sequence kind of looks like right here inside of my R so here we are I have a stupid simple framework just kind
of created here so when they first joined the email list they get the introduction email now I'm going to show you how to write these emails and exactly what they consist of but very very simple email I could teach my grandma how to make an awesome introduction email it's not really that difficult now as you can see we have our first automation set up so if they don't open this email within the first two days they get a reminder email and if they still don't open that email then eventually they get a good buy email
but if I send them the introduction email and they have opened it within the first two days then they're going to move on in the sequence I'm going to explain this a lot more in depth as we go on but essentially you don't want to have people on your email list that aren't opening up your emails very very commonly right very often so you want to get rid of the people who are dead emails so somebody might sign up to your email list or somebody might buy something from you and give you their email but
that email is either not checked maybe it's like their second email or it's just a fake email or it's just an email that they're just not going to check your emails with and they're just not interested in actually seeing your emails in their inbox which means you don't want to send to them so I would send them a reminder email saying hey by the way remember I sent you that email that introduction email where I showed you whatever right the what you wanted to see I fulfilled my promise and if they still don't open then
it's a goodbye email a goodbye email is essentially like hey I sent you some emails for some reason you haven't been opening them maybe you haven't been seeing them or maybe this isn't an email you use very often so I'm going to take you off of my email list unless you decide that you still want to stay on in which case here's the link to the thing that I gave you in the introduction email this way right they still get a last chance to actually join on but if they don't open it and they don't
click on it then again you just kill their email kill their email address you don't want to send to them anymore because you keep sending and sending and sending it's going to hurt your open rate it's going to land you in the promotions tab it's going to hurt your email deliverability and eventually you're going to land in spam folder and nobody is going to see your email so that's why this automation here is so important and this is a stripped down simple version of my welcome sequence mine gets a little bit even more complicated than
that but all of these things are super important to do essentially what we're optimizing for here is we're optimizing for no like and Trust meaning we want people to look forward to our emails want to open them we're optimizing for conversions we're also optimizing for our email list deliverability like I talked about okay and then after that introduction email believe it or not I have a soft cell email second email soft sell now look Nobody Does this nobody does this everybody showing you how to do email sequences going to tell you no you have to
wait till email number 10 in order to to to link them to something that they can buy but I have I have the strategies I'm going to be I'm going to be revealing the strategies later okay I'm just going to go through this right now and I'm going to be revealing it so next we have value emails so these are also color coordinated right here in the blue they're going to be cold right here in the yellow they're going to warm up and then in the green they're going to be pretty much hotter right and
the red means that they're pretty much Dead red is dead so as you can see here is essentially soft sell email then value emails and then some soft sell emails at the end and then we just move them on to the promo sequence the promo sequence is more hard selling and more about the products themselves so that is a Bare Bones stripped down version of what this email sequence might look like all these emails sent automatically and you can set them up in your client's email service provider they already own an email service provider every
email service provider is different so I'm not going to go into it and give you a tutorial because it would be useless because you're probably going to be on a different system but that is how it all works together I know I'm going to get a ton of these questions so I'm trying to handle them all before I get them so also really quickly I want to like show you what my email sequence in campaign looks like active campaign so you can't really see it cuz it's so small and blurry but it's essentially a long
list of emails sent every single day then there's some of the uh automations meaning if they've clicked on it take them down this path if they haven't clicked on it take them down that path there's a few of that and then I tag some people as one thing then it goes even farther I tag some people as another thing and then I say a certain group of people go into a different sequence now look this stuff can get super super complicated right I'm going to keep it very simple here because I know a lot of
people haven't actually used these things before haven't used email service providers haven't done email marketing quite yet but this is what it can look like right and me optimizing somebody's list in welcome sequence is one of the most important things that I do as a copy wer right it's one of the things that I get paid for and that actually moves the needle as far as them getting leads and getting people to want to purchase their products okay so that's what that will look like and you will eventually be creating these awesome complicated email automations
and someone's email service provider but again for now I'm showing you the basic strategies of how you'd set up a welcome email sequence in order to just start making money off rip so here are the welcome sequence tips and tricks number one your leads are technically the warmest right as soon as they get onto your list if you have something that will genuinely help their problem like a product or service why would you wait to offer to them offer it to them in the second email after the introduction and I've noticed that on my email
this it doesn't cause a lot of unsubscribes or people upset just because you're giving them a very soft offer at the end of your second email it's like hey um if you like you know whatever reason I S you signed up to the list for let's say they signed up for a free guide if you liked that free ebook or that free guide and you thought it was cool then you're going to like this even more it's essentially the same thing but super in-depth and maybe it's paid maybe it's something that they could buy or
if they already bought something and now they're on your email list you can again say hey if you like that other thing you bought you can buy this other thing that's the same but even better or it's different and even better or so on and so forth or they're complimentary this way you are actually earning more Revenue as soon as they hop in and they're more likely to see those emails so your copy also matters a lot always be improving it doesn't matter how awesome of an email automation you create in the sequencing and the
structure of the sequence is really good if your emails themselves are crap you're not going to like nobody's going to want to open them they're not going to get open are not going to get reads they're not going to get conversions next is split test split test split test this will always give you the best results so many times people ask me Tyson what subject line is better this one or this one sometimes one subject line is clearly better than the other one or I just like one better but when you split test things you
get an objective view right so by split testing on the email service provider you essentially send like let's say you have an a split test just two things to 25% of the list you send a the other 25% of the list you send b after an hour it will see which one has the highest open rates then if it's B it will send b to the other 50% of the list that is a really basic example there's tons of different EXA examples and ways that you can do it but the bottom line is you just
test things you test things you see what works best and then you implement the winner that's what I've done over and over and over and over and over and over and over again and why I've been able to get such crazy results with my email marketing next is that it's better to have a small list that loves you than a big list that just tolerates you stop sending to inactive email addresses so you can improve your open rate and just improve your email marketing in general okay this is a a huge rule that you're never

going to be writing within a welcome sequence so the first one is the intro email it is so simple that I don't have an example here for you but I can just freestyle one off the top of my head so the tasks are this you fulfill your promise you set expectations and you optimize deliverability by giving them instructions on how to get your emails in their primary tab I'm going to assume that you understand understand email deliverability already if you don't I have a free whole 1eh hour email marketing course not email copywriting email marketing
course on this channel that you can check out after this video so fulfill your promise so you give them whatever they signed up for right maybe they bought something maybe they sign up for a free guide you give them the link to that two is you set expectations you're going to be getting emails every week that's going to show you and help you to your weight loss Journey For example and optimize deliverability so if this email has landed in your spam folder make sure you put it in your primary tab cuz sometimes Gmail kidnaps these
emails and you won't be able to see them so if it's in the spam folder drag it over to the primary if it's in the promotions folder drag it over to primary if it's already in your primary start it and Mark it as important to tell Gmail that you want to see these emails in the future and then just say until next week's email right that's what the end is so then this way essentially you're doing all these three things fulfilling on your promise setting expectations for the future and also optimizing email deliverability this is
going to make it so that they are going to always be want to open your emails because they actually know that you're going to email them in the future right so there there's no surprise you fulfill your promise at the beginning so you you give them what they wanted then you also tell them to optimize for deliverability right you do not want your email is going to spam or promotions cuz it's really hard to get out of there another thing that I've heard other people do is they tell certain people to unsubscribe right so this
is a list for people who want to lose weight if you're just looking for the freebie and you don't want to receive any any emails the unsubscribe button is at the bottom now again A lot of people are going to be like oh my God you don't want you don't want people to unsubscribe from your list then you just lost out on a lead well you also don't want people who just straight up don't want your emails because if they don't want your emails then why would you send them emails because it's going to hurt
your email deliverability so again rule it's better to have a small list that loves you than a huge list that just tolerates you so again this is another option that you can do is just tell people if you're not interested in receiving these emails or this isn't a goal of yours then feel free to unsubscribe the next type of email will be a value soft sell email pretty much the rest of the emails in the sequence or a value soft sell email now soft sell means a lot of things it could be selling them on
a product or service it could be selling them on just a a free source a free guide it could be selling them on following you on a different Channel like follow my in stagram here for example right so there's different things that you can sell them on but you want to sell them on a a myriad of different things right so I talked about the first after the after the introduction being a soft sell email this means like soft sell a product right and then value emails maybe you soft sell a video here you tell
them to follow your Instagram here um you give them a new type of template that they want to use here or something right so you're giving them more value in all of the emails as well so here are the goals of this email right it's to to entertain people give them value and be highly engaging so the pro tips the worst thing you can be is boring the worst thing you can be in marketing is boring the worst thing you can be as a copyr writer is boring okay so if you just give some dry
stale value or something that they've already heard before um a common example that I like to give that I actually see all the time because I review copy every single day from my one to one students is they make a uh an email to people who are losing weight and they say you know what the key to losing weight is the key to losing weight is eating less calories and you have to be disciplined that's like the most boring email in the world everybody knows it's about eating less calories everybody knows that it's about being
disciplined right what they want is the yeah but how right they want the yeah but how yeah but how do I eat less calories how do I track it how do I budget my daily calories properly right these sorts of things these are things that are going to be actually helpful to them and it's from a new and fresh and interesting angle aim to make your emails better than Tik Tok extremely important your emails aren't just competing with the other emails inside people's inboxes it's also competing with all the other different types and forms of
social media that are out there people are only one click away from a cat video or half naked girls on Instagram so you have to make sure that your copy is even more entertaining than that and they'd rather read your copy than do those things next is to be aware of subscriber fatigue meaning if every single CTA for example is click here to get this free free guide click here to get this free guide click here to get this free guide it causes CTA fatigue they think they already know what's through the link you say
this you send the same link every single time they get bard of it it's the same with your subject lines the types of emails that you're sending the angles that you come from you want to you want to vary it right you want to be different new fresh hot interesting next is give genuine value don't clickbait and force the reader to click the link if they want the value teach them something new then give a CTA based on the new thing I hate when copywriters do this they say in the email there's this one trick
to losing weight this one trick that's helped me lose the weight it's helped hundreds of other people lose weight it's the best weight loss trick ever it got me from 138 lb to 112 lb if you want to learn this trick click the link below terrible it's terrible I'm never opening your emails ever again in my life right because I feel cheated because it just wasted my time unless I click on the link maybe I'll click on the link once or twice but after that I just it's just terrible right so what you want to
do instead is give value and entie the CTA into the value so the trick to losing weight is calorie budgeting right so it's just like your financial budget if you get paid and then blow all your money for the whole month you're going to be eating nothing but ramen noodles and ketchup sandwiches for the rest of the month and you're going to be pretty miserable but if you budget effectively and save your money towards the end of the month you're going to have a much better time budgeting and won't feel as difficult well it's the
same with budgeting your calories that's the value I just gave you the value and maybe I'll even give you more more value right here are three three simple tips to budgeting your calories um eat later in the day right don't eat breakfast eat very calorie non-c calorie dense foods right so volume eating foods like popcorn and also um I don't I don't know eat more meals eat more often smaller meals instead of big meals less often often now these are only the very Beginnings but if you want to know if you want a free calorie
calculator and I don't know some other sort of value tied into what I just told you then click the link below now you're actually giving people value you're you're showing see here's the thing it all it is is You're Building trust when you give someone value in the email you build trust that when you click the link is not going to waste their time either because if you waste my time in the email what do I think you're going to do when I click the link you're going to was was my time again so give
them value in the email right what you sell them on the idea they're going to think huh this guy knows what he's talking about and I really like that now I want to go through the link now you're training people to open your emails you're training people to read them all the way through you're training people to click the links this is what you want so I have an example of an email here subject line stop worrying about your diet preview start hacking your hunger hormones here's how hey first name what's the number one reason
can't people can't lose weight maybe they don't know the right diet or they have slow metabolism or maybe donuts and pancakes just keep taking advantage of them but none of those are actually true the real reason people can't lose weight is hunger I know I know thank you Captain Obvious obviously right but there's actually a way to hack your hormones so you're less hungry no more overeating snacking and craving deep fried bacon wrapped Twinkies because I get it you're minding your own business then all a sudden the hunger Feels Like Mike Tyson is using your
stomach as a punching bag but you told yourself I have to lose weight I'm not giving up on my diet again but that devil on your shoulder Creeps in and you just start bargaining with yourself just one bite couldn't hurt I've been good so good this whole week I'll just have a cheap meal today and then be strict for the rest of the month is what you tell yourself then a cheap meal turns into a cheap week and then a cheap month and before you know it you're regaining back the same 10 pounds for the
27th time I know because I've been there so I'm just going to pause on this email and I'm going to kind of just paint a picture of of what I'm doing right so What's Understood don't got to be explained I don't have to explain every single line of this email it's pretty obvious how it works but in the welcome sequence you want to do a few things you want to relate to the reader and show that you know their problem right and this is what I'm doing here I'm going really really deep and showing extremely
well that I know their problem I know what they go through I know what their daily life looks like and what their challenges and obstacles are I know what their goals are and I know what's holding them back from their goals until I figured out how to hunger hack this is where I get into the solution picture having a total of three small meals throughout the whole day without feeling like you're on Hunger Strike how quickly would you be able to lose weight and keep it off for good and no this is not some dangerous
tapeworm type of di diet so here I'm handling the objection it simply works by using a little hormone called leptin and leptin's job is to signal to your brain when it's full triggering you to stop eating how do you produce more leptin eating a protein heavy diet sticking to three meals per day no snacks and no food 3 hours before bedtime now these are the basics The Bare Basics of hunger hacking but if you want to know the exact diet and eating schedule I've used to lose 23 lbs in 2 months and keep it off

that I've shared you're going to be able to reliably create a welcome sequence that generates your clients thousands of dollars of Revenue on a daily basis but there's only really three things that could be holding you back information overload meaning you're is watching YouTube video after YouTube video after YouTube video confusion killing action meaning you're not a lazy person you're you take lots of action in your day you probably have work you probably have some sort of school you probably have stuff that you do every single day but just being confused it's like it just
