before we pray let's first take a moment to listen to God's word and then we'll pray together there comes a moment in every believer's life when you're called to make a choice it's a declaration within your heart that says even if it costs me everything I will follow God i will stand by his word i will obey his voice this isn't the kind of decision you can make half-heartedly it requires everything in you because sometimes to obey God means to stand when everyone else walks away sometimes it means forgiving someone who wounded you deeply even

when you were the one left broken other times it means choosing silence when your flesh is screaming to respond or choosing peace when everything in you wants to fight back and perhaps the hardest of all it means choosing to trust God even when your heart doesn't understand what he's doing maybe that's where you are right now maybe you've been holding on faithfully through disappointment and delay you've been praying you've been waiting you've cried when no one was watching you've walked the path of obedience quietly yet your situation still hasn't changed you've done everything you know

to do and still no breakthrough no open door just stillness but it's in moments like these when nothing makes sense and the weight feels too heavy that God whispers to your spirit "Stand." Not in your strength not in your own confidence but in the truth of who he is this is not the time to retreat this is the time to stand in faith stand on the finished work of Jesus Christ stand under the blood that was shed not only for your forgiveness but for your freedom stand in the authority that comes from being a child

of God adopted into his kingdom covered by his grace now is the time to stand on his promises not to crumble under pressure not to bend to fear but to stand firm and unshaken with your eyes fixed on him stand in courage even when your knees tremble stand in righteousness even when compromise knocks at the door stand in truth even when lies surround you stand in love when the world tempts you to grow cold stand in worship even when your heart is weary psalm 56:3 tells us "When I am afraid I put my trust in

you in God whose word I praise in God I trust and am not afraid what can mere man do to me this kind of stand doesn't come from willpower it comes from being rooted in the heart of God because the truth is you can only stand strong when your life is planted in him the storms will blow the nights will get long but if your roots go deep in the word you will not be moved if today you feel overwhelmed or worn thin you're not alone the waiting can be exhausting but Psalm 31:24 calls out

to your soul "Be strong and let your heart take courage all you who wait for the Lord." So stand even when you're tired even when you feel unseen even when the enemy whispers that it's useless stand god sees your stand and he honors it he has not turned his face from you he has not forgotten your prayers he has not walked away his timing is still perfect and his plans are still good lift high the name of Jesus over your life declare his faithfulness even before you see the answer lift up his banner of truth

and love over your circumstances you are his representative on this earth you carry his spirit within you so stand as a child of the king stand against the lies of the enemy with the unshakable truth of scripture stand in the confidence that you are not standing alone the Holy Spirit is your helper your comforter your strength he will hold you up when you feel like falling he will guide your every step and as you stand remember to pray pray when you feel lost pray when you feel strong pray when the tears come and when the

silence feels heavy ask God to surround you to speak into your heart to fight for you to hold you steady because when you stand in prayer you don't stand defenseless you stand clothed in power surrounded by mercy and strengthened by divine grace so be brave beloved child of God stand with your heart wide open stand with your hands lifted in surrender stand with your soul anchored in hope you are not forgotten you are not forsaken you are his and he will honor your stand now let's take a moment to pray together stand by me Lord

Jesus stand by me when my heart is overwhelmed stay close when I feel like everything is falling apart i can't do this life on my own i've tried leaning on my own strength and it always leads me to emptiness i've tried carrying burdens I was never meant to carry and it only leaves me weary i need you desperately every moment i need you i need the comfort of the Holy Spirit the sweet companionship of your presence to walk beside me and whisper truth when the lies of the world get too loud holy Spirit walk with

me when the path feels unclear guide me when I don't know which way to go strengthen me when I feel like giving up lead me into all truth even when that truth is hard to receive be the stillness in my storm be the hand that steadies me when my knees buckle jesus without you I am lost i may be surrounded by people busy with responsibilities but inside I know the emptiness of trying to go through life without you it's a confusion that seeps into my soul it's a loneliness that even the closest relationship cannot fix

but when you are near everything changes when you are with me I feel secure i feel seen known and held i have direction i have purpose i have peace because I know you are the one leading me father I am weak on my own i cannot protect myself from the unseen dangers i cannot fix the broken places inside me i can't calm the storms that rage around me but when I am with you I don't have to you are my shelter you are my shield you are my firm foundation when everything else shifts you remain

steady you lift me up when I fall you hold me when I'm afraid you speak peace when my heart is trembling you set my feet on solid ground when you are near I don't have to live in fear i don't have to worry about the future i don't have to be haunted by the past there's no confusion no darkness no battle that can overcome your light you are my home Lord not a temporary shelter but my eternal refuge my savior my king my closest friend i hold to your promise from John 14:3 where you said

"If I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and will take you to myself that where I am you may be also." What a beautiful promise that this life is not the end that one day I will be with you forever no more pain no more tears jesus I need you more than anything this world could ever offer more than wealth more than popularity more than the approval of people more than any earthly comfort i need you more than breath in my lungs you are not just part of my life you

are my life without you nothing else makes sense i can't save myself i can't fix my own brokenness i can't clean up the mess in my soul but you Lord can you who formed me know how to heal me you who see every part of me still choose to love me you are my redeemer my healer my strength and my song there are struggles I face that are far beyond my strength battles I've inherited patterns I want to break wounds I never asked for i cannot fight these with human weapons but you Lord are mighty

in battle you are the chain breaker the curse lifter the way maker what's impossible for me is easy for you so I cry out to you Lord stand by me in every moment in every trial stay close to me in the wilderness walk beside me in the valley carry me when I feel too weak to stand hold me tightly when I can't see the way out when the enemy comes in like a flood raise up a standard against him when life's troubles surround me like waves be the rock I can cling to when the fire

rages be the fourth man in the flames when the nights grow long and hope feels distant please Jesus stand by me don't let the weight of this world crush my spirit don't let despair silence my faith fill me with endurance when I grow weary remind me that your strength is made perfect in my weakness let faith rise up in me even when fear tries to take over let your word speak louder than every lie let hope reign in the corners of my heart where sadness once lived you said in John 14 18 to 20 I

will not leave you as orphans i will come to you because I live you also will live i am in my father and you in me and I in you thank you for that promise Jesus thank you that I am never alone thank you for being a God who draws near who never leaves who stands by his children so even if I find myself in a lion's den like Daniel even if I'm surrounded by storms like the disciples even if I walk through fire like the three in Babylon I will trust you i will lift
