Revelation 9 is the scariest chapter in the Bible stay home if you ever see this watch this video to the end to find out the worst event on this earth and the scariest being in the Bible the Old Testament contains 15 books of Prophecy but the New Testament has just one Revelation John an apostle wrote it while he was in Ephesus John and Mary the mother of Jesus moved there together they lived out their lives in Ephesus where they were also buried Revelation was pinned towards the close of the first century during that period Emperor
domian demanded that everyone burn incense to Caesar once a year on the Lord's Day people had to stand before an altar raise their hands and declare Caesar is Lord for early Christian groups this was a severe challenge their faith was evident Jesus is Lord they could not say Caesar is Lord without facing severe consequences es now it was crucial to see if the Christians would firmly hold on to their faith even before this book was written people were already dying for their faith and this whole book is a guide for those willing to die for
what they believe initially the word martyr just meant witness but soon it became clear that being a true witness for Jesus might mean losing your life that's why the meaning of martyr changed to someone who dies for their faith in Jesus John wrote the Book of Revelation but it's written differently than John's gospel and his three letters here's why the Book of Revelation was given to John in a unique way God the Father gave it to Jesus then Jesus gave it to an angel that angel then passed it on to John who wrote it down
for all the churches no other book in the Bible came about in such a complex way John wrote what he saw and heard and sometimes what he saw was so extraordinary that the angel had to remind him 11 times to write it all down during his Visions John was taken up to heaven where he heard various voices and choir singing and he had to make sure he wrote all of these things down Revelation is an incredible book with a clear subject the return of our Lord Jesus Christ to Earth this event is predicted 318 times
in the Bible making it the most frequently mentioned prediction The Book of Revelation covers the events that occur before during and after the return of the Lord Jesus it is here we see the trumpets Revelation is filled with images and pictures it uses many symbols to help us understand things that are otherwise too complex it's important to know that these symbols are there to make things clearer not more confusing however some people think the symbols in Revelation are too complicated and choose to ignore or Overlook the message but that's not right we can group these
symbols into four main types first some symbols are easy to understand the dragon or serpent represents the devil the Lake of Fire means hell the great white Throne is where the Lord judges second some symbols are explained right there in the text the stars are angels the lamp stands stand for churches the seals trumpets and bowls represent disasters the incense is like prayers going up to heaven the 10 horns symbolize Kings third other symbols are also found elsewhere in the Bible in the Old Testament you'll find the Tree of Life the rainbow the Morning Star
the rod of iron Horsemen and oppressive governments shown as wild beasts we can generally assume these symbols mean the same as they always did lastly a few symbols are not clear take the white stone for example Scholars have many different ideas about what it means it could be a mark of being innocent a sign of approval or a token of greatness perhaps will only know its true meaning when we get one numbers often serve as symbols in the Book of Revelation the number seven appears frequently think of stars lampstands lamps seals trumpets and bowls specifically
the seven trumpets are mentioned in Revelation 86- 919 and 11:15 through1 19 these seven trumpets are what come from the seventh sealed judgment this means that when the seventh seal is opened it calls forth Angels who will blow these TR trumpets Revelation 8 1-5 the events that these seven trumpets announce will occur during the tribulation period in the end times the first trumpet when the first Angel blows his trumpet the Earth is struck by hail and fire mixed with blood Revelation 87 onethird of the Earth's trees are destroyed by This Disaster and every blade of
grass is burned away this terrible event is somewhat like the seventh disaster in Egypt the second trumpet in heaven another Angel blows a trumpet the result is that something like a Giant Mountain all on fire was hurled into the sea Revelation 88 a third of the sea turns into blood a third of the ships are destroyed and a third of sea creatures die This Disaster has some similarities to the first disaster in Egypt the third trumpet the third trumpet judgment is similar to the second one but this time it impacts the world's freshwater lakes and
rivers instead of the Seas the fourth trumpet the fourth of the seven trumpets causes changes in the sky a third of the sun was struck a third of the Moon and a third of the Stars so that a third of them turned dark after the fourth trumpet judgment John points out an important alert from an angel soaring in the sky this Eagle shouts loudly saying wo wo woe to the people of the Earth because of the trumpet blast that the next three angels are about to sound Revelation 8:13 that that's why the fifth sixth and
seventh trumpets are called the three woes it is here we see the first woe Revelation 91 New American Standard Bible then the fifth angel sounded and I saw a star from Heaven which had fallen to the earth and the key to the shaft of the Abyss was given to him this is the fifth angel who blew a trumpet before this there were seven seals and then came seven trumpets these events are grouped together although they don't necessarily happen one right after the other the first four seals and the first four trumpets dealt with terrible things
happening on Earth the first four seals involved The Four Horsemen who brought dictatorship War famine and death the first four trumpets caused harm to plants oceans rivers and the sky the final three seals were about things happening in heaven the shouts of people who died for their beliefs strange happenings in the sky and an introduction to the seven trumpets the last three trumpets will describe Horrors related to Demons we read of a fallen star the text clearly tells us that this star represents a person referred to as him not an actual star the word Fallen
shows that this person had already fallen before but who is this star some people think it could be Nero a fallen angel an evil spirit Satan the word of God a good angel or even Jesus himself in this story The star is best understood as an angel now whether this Angel is good or bad depends on how he connects with the angel of the bottomless pit described in Revelation 9:11 if the angel in Revelation 9:1 is the same as the one in Revelation 911 then he is an evil angel possibly Satan himself if it's a
different Angel then it might be a good Angel sent by God to open the bottomless pit for bringing about judgment he was given the key to the bottomless pit the fact that this star has fallen leads us to think of him as Satan or maybe another high-ranking evil angel however the idea that he was given the key makes us reconsider if he really is Satan the concept that Satan rules over hell is not supported elsewhere in the Bible instead Satan will be a prisoner of hell not its Master at the same time we see the
key is given to this being at a particular time and for a special reason that advances God's plan whether this Angel is evil or good he is part of God's design even if he doesn't mean to be the bottomless pit people often wonder where it is the simplest answer might be that it's at the center of the Earth where everything seems to be top and nothing is bottom but some believe that the idea of the pit being bottomless is just a symbol the abyss is a prison for some demons it is likely the same as
the bottomless pit in a broader sense this place is seen as as the realm of the Dead similar to Hades Romans 10:7 or who will descend into the abyss that is to bring Christ up from the dead he opened the shaft of the abyss and smoke ascended out of the shaft like the smoke of a great furnace and the Sun and the air were darkened from the smoke of the shaft then out of the smoke came Locust upon the Earth and power was given them as the Scorpions of the Earth have power they were told
not to hurt the grass of the earth nor any green thing nor any tree but only the people who do not have the Seal of God on their foreheads and they were not permitted to kill anyone but to torment for five months and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a person and in those days people will seek death and will not find it they will long to die and death will flee from them Revelation 9 2-6 these are clearly not regular locusts instead of eating plants they attack people like
scorpions do they are a picture of the huge number of demons that will be released on the earth the point is that during the Great Tribulation which is a time of God's judgment God will let loose demonic armies that were locked away they will come down to the Earth like a swarm of destructive locusts the mark of God on their foreheads those who have the mark of God on their foreheads the 144,000 and possibly others will be safe but no one else will be this judgment from God is unavoidable who are the 144,000 in Revelation
are they already here could you and I be one of them the Book of Revelation has three references to a group of people numbering 144,000 Revelation 7:4 says and I heard how many were sealed 144,000 12,000 sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel why are they sealed they are sealed to be protected from future judgment in this teaching about the future Jesus described this time as one of Great Tribulation such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time no nor ever shall be in the New Testament the word
sealed originates from a Greek word that means to stamp with a private Mark God has a specific plan and time for everything and his goal is to lead people to repentance as written in Revelation 92- 21 during those times people will want to die but they won't be able to they will wish for death but death will avoid them there will be no escape from this severe suffering their strength is compared to the strength of scorpions and although a scorpion sting is very painful it usually doesn't cause death they will want to die just like
Paul talked about in Philippians 1: 21-23 these suffering people will long for death but their reasons and outcomes are completely different from Paul's for Paul dying meant receiving Eternal blessings but for these suffering ones death is just moving from their current suffering to Eternal punishment Revelation 9 7-10 New American Standard Bible the appearance of the Locust was like horses prepared for battle and on their heads appeared to be crowns like gold and their faces were like human faces they had hair like the hair of women and their teeth were like the teeth of lions they
had breastplates like breastplates of iron and the sound of their wings was like the sound of Chariots of many horses rushing to battle they have tails like scorpions and stings and in their taals is their power to hurt people for 5 months the shape of the Locust was like horses prepared for battle people have tried many times to prove that this description of locusts even though it's poetic truly matches natural Locust but this view overlooks a clear sign of their demonic nature why would God name them Locust if they're not real locusts but instead evil
spirits that swarm and devastate like Locust do one key reason is that Locust serve as messengers of God's judgment we see this clearly in the Old Testament in stories like Exodus 10 4-14 and Amos 49 like horses like gold like the faces of men like women's hair like lion's teeth the repeated use of the word like suggests that the description isn't meant to be taken literally the overall effect of this image is one of strange and frightening cruelty ideas that these Locust might actually represent things like the helicopter gunships used by the Antichrist or a
global government are interesting but they're just guesses and don't line up with every detail it seems we must accept that God fulfilling the long-standing wish of those evil spirits to have bodies of their own has made bodies for them these bodies are fittingly scary looking just like the evil spirits that in them we can't pinpoint exactly who or what the swarm of locust stands for what we do know for sure is that just before the world ends the evil will face a period of severe demonic suffering unlike anything before the specifics of how this will
happen will stay unknown until history reveals them the leader of these locusts apolon apolon and abdon have the same thoughts of Destruction or torment predition abdon is a demon that works under Satan and is in charge of an abyss full of locusts that will make their appearance on stage during the final days because the Old Testament and New Testament were written in separate languages the word for destroyer in Greek is going to be different than the word in Hebrew this is something that we need to keep in mind at all times although we only see
the instance in the latter half of the Bible in Revelation 911 five verses in the Old Testament use the word abdon in the Old Testament appears to mean destruction the name apolon is the Greek form abdon meaning Destroyer Revelation 9:11 they have as king over them the angel of the Abyss his name in Hebrew is abdon and in the Greek he has the name apolon this shows that the enemy's Camp is organized with the title of King in the Book of Daniel we meet the Prince of Persia who is also a high-ranking demon the term
King and Prince shows connections to a kingdom this clearly shows a kingdom with forces that oppose us this event marks the beginning of the end during which Satan and the armies under his control will be Unleashed he will be permitted to take those who reject Christ as king during the cleansing of the whole earth to make way for a new Heaven and a new Earth the name abdon appears in some versions of the Old Testament such as the English Standard Version and The New American Standard Bible in The New International Version King James version and
New Living Translation he appears as destruction John is making a bold spiritual and political statement in the Book of Revelation by referring to both abdon Hebrew and apolon Greek together the seals trumpets and bowls of the end times comprise the great day of God's Wrath and serve to judge the Antichrist Kingdom of wickedness the abidon and apolon of Revelation is an actual demon who will one day impose real pain on real people during God's real judgment abdon was a place of the Dead in the Old Testament job 31:12 which is regularly linked with death and
the realm of the dead it is linked with the pit in the Dead Sea Scrolls it is thus equivalent to Hades the sometimes personified Realm of the Dead over which God and Christ have ultimate control here the control is assigned temporarily to an evil angel who seems to have been imprisoned with the other spirits of the pit John may be adapting the title negligibly to make his point thus many suggest that this title is also intended to ridicule Apollo the archer god one of whose emblems were the Locust this lets us know that the goal
of the evil one who is the head of the abdon is against us John 10:10 the thief comes only in order to to steal kill and destroy I came that they may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance to the full till it overflows with the abyss open and the smoke Rising Jon sees abidon and his locusts because the Locust have been instructed not to harm the grass any green plant or tree or the people who have the Seal of God on their foreheads we can deduce that these locusts represent something symbolic true
locusts feed on vegetation including trees grass and plants the Locust are symbolic and locusts are used as a symbol in the Old Testament note that the sound of the Locust is reminiscent of a mighty Army approaching the nation the torment of the Locust is allowed for 5 months the lifespan of locust is 5 months and the duration season when Locust would attack is 5 months this seems to be the reason for using this number of months for the duration of the torment the anguish and Agony won't last for just a few days but rather for
as long long as the Locust continue to exist in the world the only way to end this attack of abon's locust is for the attackers to finish wreaking their destruction the torment is so excruciating that it is comparable to the Venom of a scorpion and the suffering will be so severe that people will wish they were dead they will look for death but they will not Discover it it is clear and consistent in the Bible that demons exist they are entities that oppose God's Supremacy they seek to carry out their Unholy Rebellion by influencing people
to live in ways that contradict God's stated intentions at the same time they remain under his control and can be used to carry out the divine plan Christians must submit to God and resist Satan and his minions incursions as a result we need to understand the fundamental truths of scripture regarding demons behavior and their methods of influence having become aware of the work of demons we are commanded to take a stand in Christ and oppose it whether as individuals corporations or societal structures now these demons have free Reign Over the Earth demons desire to keep
us from God by promoting sin inducing Temptations tormenting and frightening us like their counterparts the characteristic of a demon is spiritual immutable and Immortal demons are not omniscient and their power is limited to that which God allows Jesus Christ came to Earth to deliver the oppressed from the power of demons now these demons are released though with limits God is ultimately in control Our Father in Heaven is not the Destroyer but God himself has brought about this destruction as part of his righteous judgment while Satan is evil and powerful he's not all powerful abdon does
not have complete power over the Demons of hell those Locust emerging from the abyss even in that case the locusts are only capable of torturing ing their victims they cannot actually kill them who holds them back even at is most virent the Destroyer cannot Escape God's control Revelation 91 12-15 New American Standard Bible the first woe has passed behold two woes are still coming after these things then the sixth Angel sounded and I Heard a Voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God saying to the sixth Angel who had the
trumpet release the Four Angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates and the Four Angels who had been prepared for the hour and the day and the month and the year were released so that they would kill a third of mankind the Four Angels at the river Euphrates that day will be a day of Wrath it will be a day of agony and anguish it will be a day of trouble and Devastation it will be a day of darkness and Gloom it will be a day of clouds and darkness it will be a day
of trumpet and battlecry this event takes place at the Euphrates River the Euphrates river is a significant River mentioned in the bible it's known as a place where early human civilization started and has always been seen as a symbol of life and limits when the Euphrates is talked about in The Book of Revelation it takes on a new meaning it becomes a key symbol in the events that the Bible predicts will happen in the future this part of the Bible is both fascinating and a bit scary it shows a Time when God steps in and
the normal world we know meets the spiritual World in a big way leading to Serious effects for all people the purpose of releasing these angels is to bring about great destruction as they are permitted to kill a third of mankind but the question is why would God allow the killing of one-third of mankind there is no necessary relationship between these four angels and the four angels that are mentioned in Revelation 71 they could be the same Four Angels but it's also possible that they're not whoever they are they are prepared for the hour and day
and month and year of the unleashing of this judgment we read were released this assumes that these are bad Angels while this might not be the case it is likely that they are evil angels in spite of everything they are instruments of Divine Purpose the Demonic locusts that were detailed earlier in Revelation were only capable of wreaking havoc on human beings however these four angels have the power to execute a massacre on an unprecedented scale these angels are only awaken when God deems it to be the appropriate time to do so and their area of
action is limited to a specific portion of humanity they carry out the will of God at the appointed time the passage about the four angels can be seen as a depiction of God's judgment in the Bible God's judgments are often portrayed as a means to bring about repentance and to demonstrate is Power And Justice For example Revelation 92- 21 mentions that the remaining people did not repent of their sins despite the plagues this suggests that the judgments serve as a call for repentance this part of Revelation is a representation of the consequences of turning away
from God and the importance of repentance it's a way of illustrating the seriousness of sin and the need for Humanity to seek reconciliation with God Revelation 9 16-9 New American Standard Bible the number of the armies of the horsemen was 200 million I heard the number of them and this is how I saw in my vision the horses and those who sat on them the Riders had breastplates of color of fire of hyen and of Brimstone and the heads of the horses are like the heads of lions and out of their mouths came fire and
smoke and brimstone a third of mankind was killed by these three plagues by the fire the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths for the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails for their tails are like serpents and have heads and with them they do harm is this number meant to be taken literally or symbolically it might be that the number is not supposed to be taken literally but rather it suggests an army so large that it is beyond counting and bigger than anything humans have ever seen
the horsemen wear breastplates that are fiery red highest of blue and sulfur yellow the heads of their horses resemble lion heads and from their mouths come smoke fire and brimstone these Horsemen are described in strange and frightening ways this creates a vivid image of horror destruction and a link to evil forces the army of the horsemen is this referring to a normal army or a supernatural one are we talking about an army made up of humans or demons if this passage describes a regular army of humans then the strange description could be about modern advanced
warfare perhaps John is trying to describe modern machines the best way he knows how resulting in this odd scary story however no human Army of this size has ever existed the total number of all armies from both sides at the peak of the second world war was only 70 million in 1965 China claimed to have an army and militia of 200 million but many doubted this claim even if such an army were put together and moved Westward it is hard though not impossible to imagine such an army killing a third of humanity perhaps 2 billion
or more therefore it might be safest to think of this as a literal Army of 200 million but one that is demonic invading Earth this idea follows the earlier description of a demonic Army like Locust in the chapter Revelation 9 20-21 New American Standard Bible the rest of mankind who were not killed by these ples did not repent of the works of their hands so as not to worship demons and the idols of gold silver brass Stone and wood which can neither see nor hear nor walk and they did not repent of their murders nor
of their witchcraft nor of their sexual immorality nor of their thefts in general people did not show any regret or change their ways even though there were many clear and Powerful signs they should not worship demons or Idols but people kept on worshiping Idols as if nothing had changed they continued to worship demons whether they realized it or not it's surprising to see how quickly things seem to go back to what people think is normal after a big disaster Like An Earthquake we quickly forget the lessons God teaches us even the lessons that come with
his judgments and the people did not turn away from their murders their use of magic their immoral behaviors or their stealing this list of wrongdoings is a strong criticism of our time indeed our modern world is full of murderers use of drugs linked to Magic immoral behaviors and thefts those that will escape this judgment the use of seals was common in official contexts for example a Roman Centurion would have affixed a seal to a document that was intended solely for the review of his Superior if the seals were broken the person who received the letter
would know that the letter had been altered or read by someone other than the person who had originally sealed it we see the Seal of God in the Book of Revelation The Book of Revelation filled with mysterious visions and messages introduces us to the idea of God's seal in a very special and meaningful way the Seal of God serves as a distinguishing mark it signifies that God is safeguarding certain individuals who are his authentic followers this seal is mentioned in the visions of Revelation particularly during the tumultuous and ominous events it's important to know that
this seal isn't a physical Mark it's more like a spiritual badge it's a way to show who is really connected to God and who is under his protection the idea of sealing in Revelation is rooted in an ancient practice but it is given a spiritual significance it goes beyond merely establishing Authority and authenticity it's about being recognized as belonging to God particularly during times of hardship and adversity this spiritual seal as a powerful representation of faith and divine protection in a chaotic and uncertain world as we look further into this topic we find that the
Seal of God is really important it shows that God promises to protect us and wants us to stay loyal to him it tells us that even when times are tough God has marked those who are his and he will keep them safe this concept of ceiling is also seen in Ephesians 13-14 where it is written in him you all also when you heard the word of Truth The Gospel of your salvation and believed in him were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it to
the praise of his glory here the seal is equated with the Holy Spirit given to Believers as a sign of their salvation and a promise of their Eternal inheritance we read do not harm the Earth the Seas or the trees till we have sealed the Servants of our God on their foreheads these Servants of God will receive a protective seal on their forehead containing God's name in some manner Revelation 14:1 then I looked and this is what I saw the lamb stood firmly established on Mount Zion and with him 144,000 who had his name and
his father's name inscribed on their foreheads signifying God's Own possession we are not told what exactly their service is but the 144,000 are sealed for a specific and unique purpose however the general idea of being sealed is not limited to them an account of the sealing of the Servants of God it is observed that the work was committed to two angels while some angels were tasked with restraining Satan and his agents another Angel was responsible for identifying and differentiating the Faithful Servants of God these servants were distinguished by the Seal of God on their forehead
a mark easily recognizable to God this seal set them apart ensuring their safety and protection during the most difficult times many different groups have claimed to be the 144,000 insight into the identity of the 144,000 from Revelation 7 and Revelation 14 can be gleaned from certain facts number one the group of people referred to as the children of Israel are descendants of the biblical patriarch Jacob who was later renamed Israel they are also known as the Israelites Revelation 7:4 number two their tribal affiliation is specific Revelation 7 4-8 number three During the period of God's
Wrath they will be protected and triumphant and will meet Jesus at Mount Zion upon his return Revelation 141 Revelation 141 Amplified Bible then I looked and this is what I saw the lamb stood firmly established on Mount Zion and with him 144,000 who had his name and his father's name inscribed on their foreheads signifying God's Own possession number four they are celibate Revelation 14:4 these are the ones who have not been defiled by relations with women for they are celibate these are the ones who follow the lamb wherever he goes these have been purchased and
redeemed from among men of Israel as the first fruits Sanctified and set apart for special service for God and the lamb number five they are the beginning of a Greater Harvest number six they are marked by integrity and faithfulness Revelation 145 taken together it is difficult to argue that the 144,000 are symbolic of the church the act of sealing as described in Revelation signifies a Divine Mark of prot protection and ownership this seeding process symbolizes a spiritual preservation during times of tribulation each of the 12 tribes of Israel contributes 12,000 members signifying completeness in God's
selection the number 144,000 is rich in symbolism in biblical numerology 12 often represents Divine Authority completeness perfect governance multiplying 12 tribes by 12,000 members from each tribe suggest a magnified completeness the cealing of the 144,000 is a sign of God's sovereignty and his ability to preserve his chosen ones in the midst of chaos and destruction this notion offers Comfort to Believers assuring them of God's protection and the importance of faithfulness contrast with the mark of the beast the Seal of God and the mark of the beast from The Book of Revelation show a big difference
between good and evil and between God's power and the power of the world the Seal of God the Seal of god mentioned in Revelation 72 through3 represents Divine protection and ownership it's given to God's faithful followers marking them as his own in a spiritual sense unlike a physical mark it symbolizes a deep personal commitment to God and his teachings possessing the Seal of God indicates a spiritual safeguarding during times of trial and judgment it's a sign of being chosen by God reflecting a life lived in accordance with Divine principles the mark of the beast the
mark of the beast talked about in Revelation 131 16-17 is a sign that shows loyalty to the Beast a bad character against God it means turning away from God and choosing to follow the power of people in the world which is often not right or good the mark of the beast appears in Revelation the mark of the beast is referred to as the mark of the beast because it is brought into being by a man who is referred to as the Beast according to the Bible passages in Revelation 16:2 and 1920 the mark of the
beast is a symbol that distinguishes those who worship the Beast Revelation 131 16-17 Amplified Bible also he compels all the small and the Great and the rich and the poor and the free men and the slaves to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead signifying allegiance to the Beast and that no one will be able to buy or sell except the one who has the mark either the name of the Beast or the number of his name he causes all to receive a mark a Mark will be given to everyone
under the government of the Beast and his associate this Mark is necessary to participate in the economy and those without it will not be able to buy or or sell anything only those bearing a special number on a visible part of their body hand or forehead will be allowed to trade and the number will only be marked on those who engage in Imperial idolatry the number 666 is the coded name of the dictator we have already discussed its meaning the nature of apocalyptic writing until he arrives when his identity with this figure will be only
too obvious all attempts to decode it are useless speculation one thing is clear he will fall short of perfection seven in every regard the word kuraga in ancient Greek language refers to a mark but it is not commonly associated with people thus some interpret it as a symbolic Mark however the idea of a physical Mark being required for buying or selling is not impossible and could be practical the technology to give people a Mark that enables them to buy and sell in the electronic economy is available there are many different ways it could happen and
such programs are proposed and tested constantly a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads Satan is not a creative being all he can do is imitate God we are not surprised to find that this too is a satanic parody of something God will do it imitates God's Mark upon his people taking this Mark is like turning your back on God it shows you're choosing to side with those against God it's not just a mark you can see on your body it really means you're living your life against what God means the Seal of
God versus the mark of the beast the Seal of God represents Divine Authority and protection while the mark of the beast signifies submission to worldly corrupt power the Seal of God is a spiritual Mark denoting faith and obedience to God whereas the mark of the beast is often interpreted as a physical or visible sign of compliance with evil forces the Seal of God signifies Eternal salvation and alignment with God's will while the mark represents temporal gain at the cost of spiritual condemnation what is the purpose of the Seal of God this is how you know
you were chosen the revelation of Jesus Christ was given to John by God to show his servants what must soon take place this book is filled with mysteries about things to come what does it mean to have the Seal of God on my forehead similar to how God shielded his own people in Goan from the plagues he would also be with them as the world faced his judgments in Revelation 7 in the middle of John revealing what will happen at the End of the Age knowing what this means for these 144,000 people is critical but
what does it mean for you has God put his seal on you we should learn what it means to be sealed by God so let's discover what it means what is the provision of the seal of God there are three things the Seal of God provides you and we will identify them from this passage in Ephesians 13- 14 God's seal gives us inclusion as a believer in Christ you are considered to be part of him this implies that everything that belongs to him also belongs to you for instance because of your connection with Christ his
righteousness becomes your righteousness as well what does the seal of God mean for living in the last days it identifies what you should be doing very similarly to the 144,000 in Revelation it is necessary for you to serve as his Witnesses the following is an explanation of what occurs after the 144,000 are sealed in Revelation 7 Revelation 7 9-14 New American Standard Bible after these things I looked and behold a great multitude which no one could count from every nation and all the tribes tries peoples and languages standing Before the Throne and before the lamb
clothed in white robes and palm branches were in their hands and they cried out with a loud voice saying salvation Belongs To Our God who sits on the throne and to the lamb and all the Angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God saying amen blessing Glory wisdom Thanksgiving honor power and might belong to to our god forever and ever amen then one of the elders responded saying to me these who are clothed in the white robes
who are they and where have they come from I said to him my Lord you know and he said to me these are the ones who come out of the Great Tribulation and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb we have the songs of saints and angels on this occasion the Saints praised God for saving a large REM of Jews from infidelity and destruction the posture of these praising Saints they stood Before the Throne and before the lamb before the Creator and the mediator during religious worship we
should consider ourselves to be in the special presence of God to approach God we must do so through Christ as he is the mediator between us and God without a mediator Sinners would not be able to approach the throne of God their habit they were clothed with white robes es and held Palms in their hands this represents their justification Holiness and victory as conquerors used to appear in their triumphs when Faithful Servants of God have fought the good fight of faith and finished their course they will make such a glorious appearance at last their employment
they cried with a loud voice saying salvation to our God who sth upon the throne and to the lamb this may be interpreted either as a hosana expressing good wishes for the success of God and Christ's interest in the church and the world or as a Hallelujah praising God and the lamb for the great salvation they have provided both the father and the son are joined together in these praises the father devised the Salvation the son purchased it and those who enjoy it must and will bless the Lord in the lamb publicly and with appropriate
fervor here is the song of the Angels were observe the attendant stand Before the Throne of God serving him and the Saints their posture is very humble and expressive of the utmost reverence they fell Before the Throne on their faces and worshiped God look the most excellent of All Creatures who never sinned and are always before him not only covering their faces but falling down on their faces before the Lord therefore we as frail and insignificant creatures should approach god with humility and profound reverence we should fall down before him and display both a reverential
spirit and humble behavior in all our addresses to God their praises they agreed with the Praises of the Saints and said their own Amen to them In Heaven There is a perfect harmony between angels and Saints furthermore they added blessing Glory wisdom Thanksgiving honor power and might to our god forever and ever amen they acknowledge the Glorious attributes of God his wisdom his power and his might they acknowledge that God's Divine Perfections are worthy of Eternal blessings praises and glorification as they confirm their agreement with an amen as we observe what is being done in
heaven we should begin to prepare ourselves for such work by turning our hearts to it practicing it often and longing for the time when our praises and happiness will be perfected in that world why is this scene so important your ceiling or marking comes with a purpose which grows more urgent and necessary as we see the day approaching have you ever stopped to think about the purpose behind your ceiling or marking it's amazing how something as simple as a Mark or seal can hold so much meaning and significance you are marked you are sealed you
have been sealed you are rightfully God's the hope of Heaven is yours in light of the fact that you have been marked and enabled by the holy spirit of God I encourage you to make it possible for God to use you as his witness everywhere in the world it was the very last thing Jesus shared with his followers before he ascended into heaven and it ought to be the most important thing for you and me to focus on until he returns acts 1 18 Amplified Bible but you will receive power and ability when the Holy
Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witnesses to tell people about me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and even to the ends of the Earth these passages show us that the 144,000 will be people who survived the Great Tribulation they are not faithful Saints who have lived and died throughout the previous ages our church members today included in the 144,000 many churches and groups have made claims that their members or a proportion of their members make up the 144,000 however we should not rely solely on human claims it is
important to consider what the Bible says about when members of God's church are sealed in comparison to when the 144,000 will be sealed Church sealed with the Holy Spirit now members of the church are also sealed Paul described members in Ephesus Ephesians 1:13 in him you also when you heard the word of Truth the good news of your salvation and as a result believed in him were stamped with the Seal of the promised Holy Spirit the one promised by Christ as owned and protected by God later he tells them and do not grieve the holy
spirit of God by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption Ephesians 4:30 writing to members at Corinth Paul spoke of Jesus Christ who has also sealed us and given us the spirit in our hearts as a guarantee 2 Corinthians 1:22 he also sealed us and gave us the spirit in our hearts as a pledge those who are Guided by the Holy Spirit Spirit are marked as genuine Christians children of God and heirs to eternal life Romans 8:1 14-16 for all who are being led by the spirit of God these are Sons and Daughters
of God for you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again but you have received a spirit of adoption as Sons and Daughters by which we cry out ABA father the spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God this ceiling takes place at baptism when one receives the Holy Spirit after repenting of their sins acts 19:6 and when Paul had laid his hands upon them the Holy Spirit came on them and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying an important distinction is that members of God's true church are
sealed by him for eternal life when they receive and follow the guidance of the holy spirit is salvation limited to only the 144,000 it is important to note that salvation is not limited to the descendants of the ancient nation of Israel but individuals from all Races and Nations can attain it however the people of Israel are still highly valued by God in addition to the 144,000 mentioned in the bible there will also be an innumerable multitude of righteous individuals who stand before God in white robes Revelation 7 9-13 revelation 34-5 but you still have a
few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes that is contaminated their character and personal Integrity with sin and they will walk with me dressed in white because they are worthy righteous he who overcomes the world through believing that Jesus is the son of God will accordingly be dressed in white clothing and I will never blot out his name from The Book of Life and I will confess and openly acknowledge his name before my father and before his angels saying that he is one of mine this great multitude will consist of people from All
Nations tribes peoples and languages standing before Christ the lamb the question is asked about their origin the answer is these are the ones who come out of the Great Tribulation and wash their robes making them white in the blood of the Lamb they will serve Before the Throne of God because of their response to God what will cause so many people to turn to God during the tribulation the Bible reveals that two representatives of God called the two witnesses will prophesy on God's behalf for three and a half years Revelation 11:3 during all the turmoil
and difficult circumstances that will accompany the tribulation the ministry of these Servants of God will bring about the addition of many sons and daughters to God's Eternal family these people will come from both the 144,000 and the innumerable multitude why does God do this the Bible suggests that God allows the existence of evil including demonic forces to fulfill a greater purpose in the Book of Job for instance God permits Satan to test job which ultimately leads to job's deeper understanding and faith in God this can be interpreted as God using evil or suffering for a
greater good though not necessarily endorsing or creating the evil itself it's a complex topic that often leads to discussions about Free Will and the nature of God's sovereignty the reconciliation of the existence of evil and suffering with God's nature as loving and just is often referred to as the problem of evil in the Bible the Bible addresses it in various ways for example Romans 8:28 says and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose this suggests that God can bring
good out of evil or suffering furthermore the concept of Free Will as seen in Genesis with the story of Adam and Eve implies that evil and suffering are often the result of human choices rather than direct acts of God the coexistence of a loving and just God with evil and suffering is one of the most debated topics the story about the four angels from the river Euphrates is a very important part of John's Vision about the Future these Angels were specifically Chosen and ready for a specific time to carry out a big task this part
of the story is quite intense and makes us us feel a bit uneasy it really shows how strong and severe God's decisions can be key points to consider in this narrative include the symbolic significance of the river Euphrates traditionally seen as a boundary between nations and often associated with conflict and War the freeing of the Angels marks a time of big changes and Chaos a common theme in the Book of Revelation reflecting on this passage we are confronted with the mystery and depth of God's plan as revealed in the scriptures the vision of the Four
Angels serves as a reminder of the omnipotence and sovereignty of God who is in charge of even the strongest powers in the universe this narrative encourages us to ponder the larger themes of divine judgment Redemption and the ultimate Triumph of good over evil it is a call to personal reflection on our own lives and our own place in God's plan as Revelation 13:9 says if anyone has an ear let him hear this is an invitation to listen understand and respond to the profound truths found in God's word overall the Four Angels at the river Euphrates
are not just a story from the past it's a living message relevant for today this invites us to keep learning and to study the Bible carefully so we can better understand it by doing this we can learn more about God's teaching and find help for our everyday life let's be eager and open to learn more and strengthen our faith does China have a role in the end times many people who study Bible prophecies think that a section in Revelation 161 12-16 could be talking about China in the last days this part of the Bible describes
a huge and important battle called the battle of Armageddon it happens at the end of a tough time called the tribulation following the sixth bold Judgment at this point the Euphrates river will dry up this allows the Kings from the East to move through the dried River to invade the near East and move towards Israel it's the phrase Kings from the East that makes many people think of China they believe either the Chinese army or a group led by China will use this chance to move Westward quickly to join forces with the Antichrist Army in
the end times many nations will try their hand at Conquest ultimately their fight will be against God the tribulation will be a tumultuous time of warfare disasters and divine judgment but God has it all under control as Psalm 2 2-6 assures Psalm 2 2-6 the kings of the Earth take their stand and the rulers conspire together against the Lord and against his anointed saying let's tear their shackles apart and throw their ropes away from us he who sits in the heaven laughs the Lord scoffs at them then he will speak to them in his anger
and Terri ify them in his Fury saying but as for me I have installed my king upon Zion my Holy Mountain
