of his mind asking what the hell he's talking about while his son grits his teeth in Anger as well but DNE makes it clear that while it's true he hid his son and hurt him it was all in self-defense against a threat to his life plus he emphasizes that he didn't steal their summon genpu chose to follow him the trash son quickly pipes up claiming that there's no way genu would do that and tells his father that danne is lying that's when the father takes a moment to reflect he recalls hearing that the second daughter

of house srees is a genius Summoner so he's sure there's a good chance that girl taught DNE how to forcibly cut off a link between familiar and master the chubster keeps going back and forth with our boy while danne can't help but feel like this is such a drag eventually mogard decides to simmer down because after yapping for so long his jaw is literally hurting he tells DNE that he won't scold him any longer and decides they should go see what count sres has to say about the situ ation with the speak of the devil

the count himself arrives on the scene accompanied by Duke theran of course both the trash son and his father are absolutely boggled to see count sres and what's even more mind-boggling for them is that Duke thermian is here too as Knight descends we see the red-headed boy giving his testimony to the count about how he just got lost in the garden with his little brother which is why he asked DNE to guide them he continues yapping and making up stories while danne stands behind him nonchalantly thinking how his father is actually listening to this guy

mogard steps up telling the that he only intended to give danne a warning however he insists that stealing someone's summon is clearly wrong and he simply can't let that part slide finally count sres also speaks up letting mogard know that he won't roll on his judgment just after hearing one side of this quarrel he wants to hear what danne has to say then assess the whole situation before drawing a judgment he also reassures mogard that if he's worried about any biased judgments Duke thuron will also give his opinion on the matter the Duke quickly smirks

and states that if this is that important he can handle it mogard feels frustrated as his face sweats profusely he knows he's about to get screwed getting thermian involved is only going to complicate things further and he's not feeling good about it count sris gives the green light to his son to explain himself and danne braces himself claiming that what Mard son said wasn't entirely accurate but some of it is actually true he then explains that the flowers they grew with such care in their Garden were stepped on as he pleased so he only told

mogard son to get out of there which made mad's son angry and started the fight of course both fatty and his son are absolutely a struck after hearing these brutal truth bombs with the son even trying to deny it by calling danne a liar but the count tells danne to continue so our boy further explains that when Mard son summoned genpu his command was to kill him he also clarifies that he didn't steal his summon rather genpu came to him first and saw his Goodwill the Duke is utterly bewildered to see how fluently this seven-year-old

is speaking with such Grace and a proper choice of words DNE on the other hand confirms once again that he never stole anyone's summon mogard loses his cool stomping his feet on the ground and calling it nonsense he claims it's impossible for a summon to submit to someone who isn't even a Summoner insisting that DNE must have used some shady technique to pull it off but not surprisingly DNE informs Mard that he possesses an innate Affinity with summons and a summon that isn't close enough to its Master could submit to someone like him as well

Mard refuses to believe it while our boy simply states that this is actually true Mard face looks like he's going through serious constipation and he just says that this kid is just making things up the Duke then chimes in suggesting they should just be able to prove it with a summon count sres turns to his son asking if he can prove it to which danne agrees meanwhile mogard shoots a death glare at his son for putting him in this hot mess while the brat son feels sure he's about to get screwed by his father as

he has no idea what he'll do if he fails to summon genpu once the brat son tries to summon genpu he utterly fails prompting his father to yell at him just as expected on the other hand danne just smirks thinking about how he has already severed the connection so of course there's no way the boy could summon Geno back danne then decides to demonstrate himself by summoning gendu but adds that in order to do that he needs a sign that mogard son possesses the brat son gets angry questioning the audacity of DNE demanding his sign

he yaps a lot of nonsense but count sris Cuts him off reminding him that according to their own words even if danne uses the sign he shouldn't be able to summon gen pu so there's no harm in trying Mard sweat says he has no option other than to give the sign so he reluctantly tells his bratty son drron to hand it over the redhead nearly Teeters on the brink of tears but his father just tells him to hurry up once danne has the sign in his hand he starts his Mojo and he also reveals to

us that since a summon sign has a summoner's unique code name engraved on it no one else is usually able to use it however genu which digon summoned was imbued with his Mana so the summon sign is just a vehicle and genpu has already connected with him as soon as he calls out to again Pooh the monster appears and starts licking his cheeks the count and the Duke are both in awe while mogard and Degron tremble after getting exposed for lying the Duke finds it amazing and wonders if DNE was not also learning spearmans ship

his father confirms this but admits he isn't entirely sure about his son's abilities either the chubster on the other hand realizes he's screwed as his entire plan has backfired the count then turns to him asking if he acknowledges that danne is telling the truth the fatty quickly tries to play it cool laughing it off while admitting that they perhaps mistook DNE for stealing their summon he also concedes that his son wasn't truly trying to kill DNE and he ask his bratty son if that's right Degron trembles but nods along with his father saying he was

just trying to scare DNE off but our boy is furious to see these bastards trying to weasel out of accountability so easily before the two seniors can roll their final verdict on the matter a lady strolls into the scene startling everyone present especially DNE who is wide-eyed to see Lila as soon as she saunters into the scene she claims that what Degron is saying is not true her father quickly asks what brings her here and she responds that she happened to hear his voice while taking a walk before continuing the conversation she promptly greets the

fatty and count sris the fatty stutters in Surprise as he tries to reciprocate with her gesture clearly taken aback by the unexpected encounter with the Duke's daughter count srees then quickly gets to the point and asks her about her claim that Degron was lying she confidently confirms this saying she indeed overheard their conversation earlier during her stroll Degron starts to lose his cool at the the thought of her having heard everything because that is definitely not good news for him she then goes on to explain all the juicy details and my guy can't help but

smirk at this unexpected twist that somehow turned in his favor a while later the fatty tells his trashy son to hurry up and apologize to count sras the son quickly mumbles saying he was wrong but the count tells him to apologize to DNE instead not him the chubster quickly shoves his son towards danne telling him to apologize quickly the bratty son looks uncomfortable and hesitates before stuttering out a weak half-hearted sorry DNE however is far from satisfied he can tell the apology is insincere just some obligatory gesture because his lie got caught after a third-party

witness stepped in danne doesn't really want to accept this lame apology but thinking back to his past experiences he decides to be the bigger person instead of being stubborn he decides shows some generosity with that in mind danne accepts the brat son's apology and the kid lights up with happiness eagerly thanking our boy for letting him slide meanwhile the fatty father also lets out a sigh of relief realizing how close he was to losing everything on the other hand the Duke who might just be danne's future father-in-law can't help but to think how he already

knew DNE was a special kid after all he could have easily been stubborn about the whole thing considering the opposing party was clearly in the wrong from the start finally the count makes it clear that since DNE accepted the apology there won't be any further arguing about the incident however he emphasizes that he had no intention of letting this slide especially since drron attacked DNE in order to to kill him the fatty father starts Sweating Bullets after seeing the count so fired up about the situation as he tries to speak up the count tells him

him with a mischievous look on her her face and Whispers that she's heard he's the one inheriting house SRA in the future danne fumbles out an unsure response and Sylvia enthusiastically tells him to stop feigning ignorance she claims that she has heard he's talented in many ways and bluntly tells him that she will be under his care from now on especially since there's a possibility they might become family in the future and there it is danne's nervousness around her makes total sense now this girl is just too direct and she didn't even hesitate for a

that lelia seems to be taking a liking to DNE SRE asks if it's really that way and Duke explains that it is because it's unusual for lelia to get along with someone so easily SRE asks if that's really the case since she seems like a Bright Child Duke theran remains quiet for a moment before speaking up saying she's only bright on the outside and he can't say the same for what's inside he explains that after her brothers left for the Academy her mother became bedridden so they haven't been able to be together like before this

situation has made it difficult for her to open up to others and that's what's been happening the count points out that if he knows everything already then why is he always acting so cold toward his daughter thermion is genuinely moved that the count noticed something like this and admits he's doing it on purpose he explains that when he raised his sons he showered them with attention and they grew up spoiled rotten but sras reminds him not to assume that lelia will turn out the same way she'll be heard if she finds out and now it

be found at that Forge and all sorts of mystical weapons and artifacts are created in the greatest forge on the continent the father-in-law then reveals that if danne presents the Insignia at the forge they will create a weapon of his choice for him that's when we finally learn that this rock-like object is essentially an Insignia a certified check that proves the honor and skills of whoever holds it count sris is absolutely boggled when he sees the Duke giving away such a precious Insignia something even the Imperial family desires the Duke simply Pats his son-in-law on

the head and tells him to grow well and help his father his potential wife waves a last goodbye to him and that's how they part ways in the present moment his mother squats down next to him and after seeing his dejected face she asks if he's upset that they left he admits he is saying she was practically his first friend his mother reassures him that once he goes to the capital he'll be able to meet her again and will even become more handsome which will surely impress her well I guess his mother is right since

and excited he claps as he asks since when he learned swordsmanship danne just brushes it off saying he just wanted to swing the sword around a little the Butler showers him with praise calling him a genius who is even talented with the sword as he looks at the sword DNE then reflects on how learning to use a new weapon like the spear was fun but he also wanted to draw a sword sadly he hadn't been able to hold a sword during all that time since his father always watched him so closely thankfully he's glad he

hasn't lost his touch with it the butler quickly dashes off to grab some snacks and brings back an entire tray of Delicacies telling danne to munch on something before diving back into his training meanwhile we zoom in on sis who's staring out the window lost in thought he's been feeling a bit worn out by throwing this banquet every year but at least he's learned through this banquet that a lot of nobles are paying attention to the South most of them are eager to forge a good relationship with him which is a nice change ever since

the war wrapped up the South has been sitting pretty with its great climate and all the luxury that Nobles just can't resist so maybe their interest should have been obvious from the start still even with all this interest it pales in comparison to the attention danne is getting you you see the conflicts with the eldest son of count Tyron were Beyond Sis's expectations but danne handled the situation maturely he calmly and logically laid everything out in front of the adults which was super impressive and he even confidently proved his talent he can't help but think

that his son is just a bit too mature for his age sometimes he wishes danne would act a little more like the other kids and let loose a bit as the clock ticks closer to the training hour he knows it's time to head to the training Hall he pulls out the legendary spear dragon tail and decides to have Dane swing it around a bit today but as soon as he steps onto the grounds with a spear in hand he freezes when he spots D swinging his sword instead now he's curious about why the sword his

a child could show talent in all these fields then he asks DNE if he's curious about the world beyond their walls DNE looks a bit confused not really sure what his dad is getting at the father then tells him that if he wants to explore what's out there he should go for it he genuinely believes this country might be too small for his son's vast talent and if he stays cooped up here he'll be the one missing out danne feels a wave of sadness wash over him as he realizes his father has come to terms

with the fact that he can't hold on to him forever so he finally says he'd be glad to learn about the world outside his dad Smiles at this and quickly gets to the point telling him that it's finally time to prepare his son to go out into the real world he admits it's a bit Bittersweet to see his son go but he knows he has to respect danne's desires then he presents the spear to him saying he brought something extra special today it doesn't take long for danne to realize what it is and his dad

clears up any lingering doubts by reminding him that this is Dragon Tale the spear that reacted to him on his first birthday he extends his hand encouraging danne to take it the moment danne picks up the spear it starts to react and he can feel an incredible surge of power coursing through the weapon his dad Chuckles saying it's reacting way stronger than when he was just one year old and honestly who could blame him for that he then proudly tells his son that he plans to make him Master the spear before he heads out so

he better be ready he promises DNE that one day dragon tail will be his but first he needs to grow strong enough to wield it with pride danne eagerly promises to work hard and honor his father's teachings later back in his room danne's mind is buzzing with thoughts about the outside world he's always been curious about it even during those long days on the battlefield as a soldier all he really knew was war setting up camp cleaning his weapons eating bland food and gearing up for the next battle the only way out was for the

at first all he wanted was to stay and enjoy the warmth of this place but thanks to his dad's question his thoughts have shifted and he's finally made up his mind to venture outside and he's feeling pretty excited about it just as he is thinking about this his mother pops into his room which leaves him startled for a moment he asks her when she entered the room and this crazy assassin lady reminds him that he was so deep in thought that he didn't even hear her knock I can tell that she is blatantly lying given

she is an assassin and snuck into his room quietly she then asks if he's really curious about the world outside the country and he responds positively saying his dad mentioned it would be a waste of his talent to stay here after thinking for a moment he admits he's curious about the outside world too he then starts to apologize to his mother but she Embraces him saying there's nothing to apologize for he reminds her that his sisters aren't here and he's worried about leaving for the outside world too the lady reassures him that she's fine with

her he can't help but think about how he'll get special lessons from his mother filled with love many years have passed and the scene then transitions to the southern region of the althon Empire SRE County a place known for its warm climate and abundant natural resources this place has become a Cornerstone of the Empire helping them stay strong during the war thanks to count sis' magnanimous rule it's a region filled with peace and warmth finally with the war coming to an end the few small Rebel forces have all been captured bringing about an era of

lasting peace for everyone on a bright day people are buzzing with chatter about how young Master DNE visited one of the shops recently they can't stop talking about how the shopkeeper's eldest daughter literally fainted when she saw him the ladies gossip among themselves saying he's becoming more handsome by the day and they wish they could catch a glimpse of his face at least once there's even a rumor floating around that he's still single which gives them a glimmer of hope but one friend quickly reminds them that he's only 14 and tells her friend to stop

holding a spear in one hand and in the other some kind kind of cloth probably a map or something else I'm not really sure whatever it is he's already figured out his course with just 3 hours left before Sunset he knows he needs to get out of the forest before the sun goes down he begins his journey jumping through the forest with the agility of a ninja the most important thing in this mission is not getting caught by his enemies during this time DNE needs to dodge the traps and nests set up by his mother

and escape from the forest which is filled with all sorts of other dangers after leaping around for a while he finally lands back on the ground he takes a deep breath soaking in the air and energy of his surroundings holding it for a moment before letting it out again once he prioritizes stealth and assimilates with the surroundings he starts to notice hidden traps revealing themselves right now he spots these thin nearly transparent strings crisscrossing the area he knows that all the traps will activate as soon as he touches these strings it's a basic mechanism but

that's also what makes it the most dangerous but thankfully for him this one looks easy to disarm the rat-like monsters quickly pop up in the clearing and as soon as they see DNE standing there they don't waste a single moment before lunging at him to attack it turns out this is a whole pack and he definitely wasn't expecting them to show up here what's even more concerning is that the entire pack is charging at him at a pretty scary speed before they hit the strings and Trigger the traps he needs to deal with them quickly

but then he hesitates because touching the Trap accidentally could be even more dangerous still there's no time to waste and he needs to get out of here he starts dashing away and as soon as the rats trigger the traps sharp needles spring from all directions catching those unfortunate rats that fell for the setup it seems like luring the rats into the Trap was part of his plan all along and he's relieved they fell for it saving him the trouble of dealing with them directly but then he spots one particular rat that is not dead yet

after closing the distance the monster leaps right at him danne continued going toe-to-toe with the remaining ruselt Beast he struggled with the vermin's speed as it almost caught up to his own the overgrown rat hit the brakes and pivoted for another attack this time it used its long-range weapon spitting out a bizarre substance from its mouth DNE carefully assessed the situation as the substance HED in on him he did not know what it was but the substance certainly felt dangerous he spun his Spear and dispelled the attack effectively the young man gritted his teeth as

he knew that he couldn't afford to waste any more time fighting this chunky rat defending would only cost him precious time so it was time to turn the tables and attack a blue aura started coalescing around his body as he locked in on his Target with a viciously Swift chain of moves danne displayed his impressive Spearman technique he moved his body freely in the air while flawlessly tracking the enemy's position it resulted in the Russel's head being sliced in half with a clean cut DNE did not even bother looking back at the result of his

attack he just bolted out of there and continued his mission by Sundown he had reached the end point of the trial he was thoroughly exhausted huffing and puffing for air as he tried his best not to throw up at least he had finally escaped the forest in all its Horrors suddenly he felt a ferocious presence coming out of the woods and worried that his struggle wasn't done yet he hurriedly stood up and regretted letting his guard down to rest just when he was about to confront the presence he stopped in his tracks it was just

his mother Lily she had intentionally leaked her presence to test how danne would react and he passed also his total runtime traversing the forest was 3 hours and 30 minutes even faster than Lily's record she had been watching him the whole time a mother can't just leave her child alone in such a dangerous place after all Lily knew better than anyone just just how talented her son really was but as a mother it's a little different and through this trial that DNE practically aced Lily could not find a single fault in his survival skills and

adaptability she grabbed danne's cheeks lovingly and asserted that he might get scouted as an assassin at the rate of his Improvement to commemorate his successful run Lily took out her prized possession as the Empire's greatest assassin her dagger she reckoned that the weapon would fit her son better now from now on danne would own the knth horn Lily gladly passed the legendary weapon to her boy as she wouldn't be using it anyway knth horn was created from the mysterious eal ore an ore that could take the elements of any object if he wished he could

still undergoing detoxification danne explained that the old man must have mistakenly eaten a poisonous red-nosed mushroom fortunately danne and Lily had found and saved him in time the old man recalled seeing those red-nosed mushrooms he didn't think they would be so deadly if danne and Lily had arrived even a little later the old man would have been a rotting corpse by now DNE handed the man a cup of water knowing how parched he must be the young man carefully observed the strange old head he saw a belt that had the Insignia of the nixan magic

Tower in the old old man's possession he was definitely not an ordinary person if it wasn't for nighorn absorbing the poison raging in his body the old man would have died now that the old head had calmed down a little he asked danne where they were and the young man honestly stated that they were in sris County's Annex Tower the old man must have gotten lost in the southern region he was poisoned by those damned mushrooms and walked all the way South danne advised that he should take it easy for now and wait for the

Mana reversed while casting a spell wrecking his whole body the entire Forest held ancient Mana all over the place and then there were those undetectable traps scattered throughout the area the forest belonged to the sres house naturally it would be a dangerous place for anyone who wasn't a member of the family also due to the presence of ancient magic the flow of Mana was different from that of modern Mages it was truly the worst place for a modern Mage to be the old man finally realized that he really would have died if it wasn't for

DNE he also realized that the boy in front of him might be a generational Talent if he was already strong enough to freely train in that hellish Place DNE even made the antidote that he urgently needed to escape death by his looks this young man seemed to be somewhere in his teens despite his young age he was capable of formulating an antidote that required extensive knowledge and precise production skills the old man couldn't believe how blessed the SR family was on top of two generational Geniuses in the fields of magic and summoning even the youngest

he could just use both manacor and Magic circles that only served to infuriate the old fart even further he held his head in frustration at the wasted potential he doesn't even know where to start explaining the gravity of the hole that DNE dug for himself sidin asked the young man if he knew the reason why the lifespan of magic Swordsmen was so short it's because they possess both manacor and circles simultaneously however those two concepts constantly interfere with one another when they Clash problems arise it had become an told law of sorts the Mona compressed

knees trembled in excitement DNE had unparalleled affinity and purer and denser energy than anyone else in the world the kid is the real deal a oneof one Prodigy sidin couldn't take it anymore he immediately asked DNE if he would like to become a personal disciple the old man worked really hard to convince danne to learn his teachings believing that ignoring such a talent would be a disservice to the world danne was getting tired of the old fart's persistence when Sedin asked if he knew how to use a two-chain magic spell the young man hasn't been

finally knew what the issue was DNE just tried to stay as quiet as possible as his father calmed himself down poor sidin had never met a family as abnormal as the Sis's you see to a mage becoming a disciple carries a great deal of meaning Mages especially powerful ones normally raise their successors through the act of something called inheritance it's a tradition carried through from ancient times to modern times even when Universal magic education had long since been established what Sedin gaus was looking for wasn't simply a disciple but a successor of his life's work

and the ones that came before him given how an eight-chain arch Mage was still desperately trying to get him to accept the invitation danne had gained a great deal of confidence in his talent and potential he could feel a sense of unknown feeling swirling in his body now that he had become familiar with the basics of magic he remembered a gift that Arabella left him a few years ago it was a crystal ball he could use if he wanted to see his sister right now asking Arabella for her opinion regarding the matter might be beneficial

their discussion had to be cut short as Arabella was needed by one of the professors they said their goodbyes and she promised to send the aforementioned Mana Stone over the fact that DNE might be forging a path that had never existed before had finally sunk into him with the extraordinary purity of his Mana heed jokingly wondered if he had a dragon's heart beating in his chest or something meanwhile Sedin was still stuck in the annex for his recovery he used a bit of Mana to inspect DNE and it worsened his magic reflux he might have

to stay for longer if the kid would just accept his offer he could have the most illustrious Legacy among Mages he wondered just what he could do to entice the young man to join his side if DNE wasn't even interested in learning eight chain magic maybe he should offer some Grand and Priceless artifact or pass on an inheritance refined through multiple Generations but if he offered his treasures up front Sedin could get scammed and he would have nothing left as he was racking his brain for ideas Dane knocked on the door sidin wondered if the

kid came over to apologize or maybe even changed his mind regarding the offer DNE came to find the old bat because he had something he wanted to say sidin immediately assumed that the young man finally reconsidered becoming a disciple but DNE quickly shut that nonsense down it's not like he had no interest in Magic at all sidin asked if he already had a master or something and that's why he kept refusing but that's not the case either thinking that he was just being played sidin asked why the young man what he wanted to talk about

getting a letter of recommendation from the former head of nixan magic Tower would be a massive boost to his reputation DNE thought about it briefly and reckoned that it wasn't a bad offer by any means so he accepted the letter of recommendation and while they were at it he wanted to make another request sidin quietly laughed to himself thinking that the young man had finally come around he can finally start securing his grip on an unparalleled genius seeing as the old man was feeling generous danne asked if he could learn the rear Arrangement code for

two chain magic that won't be a big deal for someone like Sedin he knew the rearrangement code for all two chain magic in existence after all danne is still young giving him a letter of recommendation for the academy and some two chain magic codes wasn't a big deal although he wasn't in his best condition right now sidin could start their lessons immediately danne slyly smiled to himself as he just reeled in a huge catch he extended his hand and declared that with everything on the table they could consider sidra's debt from being saved paid in

law is conservation if magic power can collect enough of a particular Elemental material it can exhibit different attributes through conservation not only does danne have a deep understanding of Magic's nature but he's also adding his own interpretations most people would find the theory of magic boring but that wasn't the case for the young man at all he had Talent tools and a hunger for knowledge how could such a perfect Mage candidate exist continuing the lecture Sedin explained that magic codes become exponentially more complicated every time the chain increases rather than discussing Theory it would be

easier to demonstrate sidin adeptly summoned a sliver of his mana and made a simple grid of magic to demonstrate a one-chain Magic cast using the simplest rules however the complexity rises from two chain onwards he transformed the sliver of Mana into a swirling mess of runes and power showing the rearrangement code for two chain magic danne concentrated on the brilliant display and focused on how complicated the knots were sidin manipulated his code and formed the two-chain Fire magic fire arrow when it comes to Magic codes using them repeatedly is the key to Mastery the old

went further and deconstructed the Mana grid to slowly form a swirling mess of Mana in the air Sedin was stunned to see a perfect replication of the rearrangement code for two chain magic he had just demonstrated once when asked how he managed to do it so fast he simply answered that he copied through observation and memorization of rules and patterns he pictured every factor in his mind while forming the magic code and it came surprisingly easy to him sidin just kept getting wowed time and time again even though he as a magic genius took a

while to get to two chain a boy without a magic circle easily made it in just a few minutes as if he was trying to give the old man a heart attack danne declared that he would try to use the fire arrow spell as well he made the Mana and runes move around his body at impeccable a speeds finally he managed to rearrange the code in perfect order to manifest multiple fire arrows sidin looked at the perfectly crafted fire arrows refusing to believe what he was seeing seeing what this boy was capable of was making

the old man spiral into an existential crisis if only he had danne's Talent growing up he would have long since attained his dream of nine chain DNE freely controlled the fire arrows making them fly all over the training Hall as the old Arch Mage tried to compose himself even DNE was surprised that everything came naturally to him him in one go one thing was certain the world would flip out when they saw a mage without a circle performing magic miracles cidra knew that danne's Talent would need to be hidden before all sorts of people tried

territory for himself too he smiled and thanked his father for trusting him to venture out DNE set off on a short Journey to the outer regions of sras territory alongside him were sidin and Herman even on the outskirts the people of sras County still looked at and talked about him with veneration danne returned their welcoming sentiments with kindness and a smile through this journey cedra gauged that count sras must be a kind Lord to his subjects based on how happy the people were the South really does have a lot to offer they have delicious snacks

great weather and good people too it's a site that's extremely rare to see in the capital that's why danne loved this territory so much their small Caravan had been traveling around the outskirts for a while trying to reach the magic supply shop DNE had never been to the shop before so he called on Herman to lead the way the three sped up and quickly reached their destination the shopkeeper of the magic shop was shocked to see the famous young Master DNE enter her humble business she complimented him on his silver hair and stunning emerald eyes

and danne thanked her not many people from the thiefs come to her shop to buy magic supplies lately fortunately she's been getting by thanks to a lot of foreigners interested in Magic the shopkeeper also recognized Crain the former lord of the magic Tower and expressed how grateful she was to have him in her shop the old man was in a good mood now that someone finally recognized him she invited the duo to browse her Wares freely and told them to call her if they needed help with anything since it was danne's first time in a

magic shop sidin urged him to look around as much as he wanted while the old man talked to the shopkeeper with a cursory glance DNE could already see a lot of cool stuff on display they had potions gems charms and everything magical though he found it a little strange that he was feeling some sort of deja vu moreover he discovered that touching the Wares showed him their magic reaction he just chocked it up to his high affinity and continued browsing suddenly a faint ringing sound echoed in his ears seemingly demanding his attention he could feel

a particularly strong reaction from one side of the shop just as he approached that section the owner informed him that everything on that side was just decorative items sidin called danne over to take a look at some potion ingredients together the old man had already picked a few raw materials such as Moon root which could be used in at least 50 different potions the owner assured them that her ingredients were personally processed to the highest quality meanwhile danne was too mystified by the strange ringing as he walked deeper into the pile of decorations he felt

a strange power calling to him he turned to see a piece of stone that was emitting pure Mana it must also have been the source of the ringing Dane hurri ly approached the stone as though his body was moving on its own Herman seeing his young Master behaving oddly ran over with concern to him his young master was simply staring at a plain rock stuck in the wall as decoration danne wasn't entirely sure what was happening but the stone was undoubtedly calling to him he took it out of the wall and held it in his

hands as he suspected imbuing the stone with more magic made the reaction even stronger there was a possibility the object was uniquely reacting to his magic meanwhile old Sedin was still picking up raw ingredients left and right danne went over and asked the store owner what the story was behind the stone he had just plucked out of the wall as the owner had said earlier it was just decoration but what kind of decoration has a magic reaction that is stronger than anything else in the shop sidin asked if the owner had been cheated with the

rock or something and she admitted that a few years back a peddler gave her a big package as payment when she excitedly opened it she found the plain Stone inside she held on to hope and had a mage appraise the stone but it was confirmed to be just an ordinary Rock based on on danne's interaction with the object it was clearly not a normal Rock the owner urged the young Master to focus on her other products and a few special magical artifacts instead of wasting his time on a rock she tried to sell him a

lot of valuable magical artifacts of all kinds but danne was still transfixed by the strange Stone in his hand it was the only thing he wanted she showed him a name scroll card that automatically reads and stores all kinds of information to be cataloged in the end DNE bought the scroll card and the useless Stone he was sure this wasn't an object he could just leave behind even Sedin was confused about what was going on in the young man's mind on the ride back the old bat curiously asked if DNE had an interest in decorative

art or if he really believed there was something special about the stone when he explained that the slab was reacting to his magic Sedin kept an open mind although he didn't see anything special his curiosity was definitely peaked since there were too many people on the streets the small Caravan hurried back to the castle seedin set up an invaluable experimentation tool to help danne figure out what the stone really was he was confident he could appraise the stone accurately still a mage had already appraised it and found nothing remarkable sidin arrogantly declared that no Mage

appraiser was better than his tool he had put all his funds into this state-of-the-art device for appraisals he was confident it could analyze anything placed on top of it both of them were pretty eager to see what was up with the seemingly ordinary slab of stone sidin placed the object on the platform and tasked danne with imbu his magic into the slab to stimulate a reaction when danne did just that the stone immediately began radiating a richly dense amount of magic power it lit up in the middle of the appraisal tool its Radiance swirling and

forming something complex sidin carefully monitored the explosion of light keeping his eyes on the stone slab seeing his tool managed to bring out the mystery inside the stone Sedin could finally hold his head up high again after being humbled by the kid so many times the Mana coming from the slab danced around the room forming runes in the air DNE immediately understood what they were looking at as he had been learning about these things with s rain for weeks now inside the stone was a magic code but the old bat declared it wasn't just any

ordinary code it was amazing floating around them was a code whose structure Arrangement and intricacies had never been seen before it could be as complex as a six chain or even seven chain code so the Magic Stone had a hidden code inside and danne's Magic seemed to hold the key to unlocking it the stone only responded to his Mana sure they had managed to bring the code out but decoding what it was and why it only reacted to danne's Magic was an entirely different challenge even Sedin who was well versed in the magical Arts was

unfamiliar with this particular type of magic yet his pride as a mage made him determined to crack the code if he could succeed they might uncover what made danne's magic so unique while danne and Sidra were working hard to decode the Magic in the sr's training ground Arabella was busy doing her own research back in her personal Academy laboratory her lab was filled with neatly arranged books and artifacts from her various studies Arabella had stored her little brother's Mana signature in a Magic Stone and and confirmed that there was indeed something unusual about danne's power

his magic had a distinct characteristic one that didn't match any known form of magic she ran numerous tests and studied countless research papers yet she still couldn't pinpoint which magical field this anomaly belonged to she had tried everything magic reagents magic Gates magic engineering and still nothing yielded an answer but she was convinced the truth was out there hiding somewhere then she suddenly remembered hearing about a long lost field of magic one that had appeared from the Magical World perhaps danne's magic was related to this forgotten field Arabella began rumaging through her mountains of books

and literature trying to remember where she had stored that old T it was a book that discussed Alchemy divination spiritualism necromancy and A Primitive form of magic code while she excitedly searched another Dusty tone fell from the shelves she picked it up noticing it was an ancient magic book come to think of it she had once studied the long gone Magical Kingdom of Arcana a civilization said to have existed Ed over 2,000 years ago and inherited ancient Magic from an earlier age it was said to have practiced forms of magic that no longer existed Arabella

laughed to herself shaking off the idea ancient magic had vanished a long time ago there was no way danne's magic could be connected to such a relic of the past but at this point she had nothing to lose so she decided to try something unconventional she placed the magic Crystal containing Dan's Mana into her magical typewriter and referenced the ancient magic book after a few moments of concentration Arabella opened her eyes in shock the crystal was reacting she quickly wrote down the mana's properties her mind racing as she wondered if danne's magic could be linked

to Alchemy divination or something entirely different Arabella would be fine with any result as long as it didn't lead her brother toward necromancy when she finished analyzing the findings she felt as though she had been struck by lightning all she could say was what in the world are these findings back in the sar's training ground danne and sidin were still hard at work trying to elicit more reaction from the stone after some time Sedin finally broke the seal on the slab inside the slab there was something else the old man carefully extended his hand and

pulled out the object it was a simple accessory a silver bracelet emitting dense magic power to the untrained eye it looked like any ordinary bracelet you could find in a Marketplace sidin initially thought there might be something special about the bracelets material but it seemed mundane given that the stone only responded to danne's Mana Sedin suspected the same would hold true for the bracelet slipped the bracelet onto his wrist it dangled Loosely at first seemingly too big for him but then came the reaction the bracelet lit up resonating with the magic in danne's body as

expected it only responded to him DNE started to see strange characters emerging from the bracelet glowing faintly sidin leaned in for a closer look while danne anxiously asked if the old Mage could decipher the symbols to danne's surprise cidra's face lit up with a broad smile the characters were ancient runes characters that no one in the current world could read by ancient Sedin meant the language of the long-lost Arcana Kingdom Dane only knew a little about Arcana from what Arabella had told him when they were children she had described it as a time when magic

ruled every aspect of life but then suddenly and mysteriously the era of magical Prosperity had ended leaving behind only a few relics and legends and now this strange line of magic code sealed inside a stone had been added to the ancient puzzle Sidra knew that danne's magic was special but he never imagined it would be linked to the anci Arcana Kingdom this Revelation intensified Cid's desire to have danne as his Apprentice after all the forest of the last days which had defeated even sidin was rumored to be imbued with remnants of arcana's disruptive magic danne's

connection to this ancient power now made sense unfortunately all they had at the moment were those few lines of indecipherable runes sidin urged DNE to take his time and dig deeper into this mystery but warned him to keep it a secret for now suddenly their moment of quiet study was shattered a terrifying sound echoed across sra's territory causing both their eyes to widen in distress something horrifying was approaching the familiar sound of the alarm catches them off guard and it doesn't take the old man long to realize this must be the alarm for a monster

attack well that's enough to get him fired up because now that his body is almost fully healed he's itching to flex his old muscles and get the blood pumping plus it's a great chance to repay the srees for their Hospitality the excited old cot quickly tells DNE not to just stand there and to grab a spear or something but danne just just stands there with little to no expression he silently reaches inside his coat and pulls out a pendant sidin raises an eyebrow and asks about the thing he is holding and why the monster alarm

sound is coming from it DNE then breaks it to this excited old man that the sound has nothing to do with monsters it actually means his eldest sister is trying to contact him the old man's excitement deflates like a balloon as the realization sinks in and he grumbles at DNE for not mentioning it sooner danne just laughs awkwardly reminding the old man that it goes without saying there's no reason for Monsters to be in this area with that cleared up danne decides to respond to his sister's call while the old man stands there with a

disappointed look on his face as danne connects his sister immediately asks why he took so long to respond he simply apologizes and asks her about the reason behind her call she starts to spill some juicy details about his magic code but quickly cuts herself off asking if there's someone next to him the mere mention of magic code was enough for DNE to realize that she's actually figured out that his magic is ancient magic the old man overhears this conversation and lets out a screeching yell of disbelief demanding to know how in the world she found

that out as they talk further he also explains his side of story that when he and Sedin were analyzing some Stones they also figured out that his magic belongs to the ancient Magic Kingdom they realized this because that stone only reacts to his magic which was a total giveaway the old man on the other hand grits his teeth in utter frustration the fact that she figured this out just from analyzing his magic is insane he knew she was a genius but her Talent seems to be greater than he had imagined Arabella then asks her brother

if anyone else knows about his secret danne responds with a quick no she breathes a sigh of relief and tells danne and Sedin to keep it a secret because if his Secret Gets Out he won't be able to handle the consequences she then apologizes to sedra for not introducing her first before diving into the conversation the old man just laughs it off saying he already knows a lot about her from DNE as for keeping danne's magic a secret he assures her he won't let a single soul know about it if this information leaks Not only

would danne be in trouble but the whole house srees would be caught up in the huge aftermath Arabella gives the old man props for getting the gist of the situation right away which is of course expected of wise SE drain the old man then asks her if this exchange is being recorded to which she replies no saying that the moment the conversation ends it will be deleted immediately well that's good news at least they don't have to worry about anything getting leaked the old man then reveals that he also plans on returning to the magic

Tower to investigate this matter Arabella thanks him for the gesture while he tries to downplay it insisting that as a mage he's just doing it out of a sense of Duty so there's no need for her to feel indebted speaking of the magic Tower The Old Man reveals he heard she was looking for a tower to join and asks if she has decided which one she wants to go with Arabella quickly realizes he's hinting at her joining his Tower so she tries to sidestep the question saying she's not considering the Nixon magic Tower because it

doesn't specialize in the field she's interested in of course this leaves the old man annoyed once again he was already wondering where danne's cleverness came from and it looks like it's inherited from his sister he doesn't Voice his frustration though instead he just laughs it off saying she doesn't have to join their magic Tower after all meanwhile DNE feels a bit concerned watching this old man especially since his sister was so straightforward with her words anyhow she decides to wrap up the conversation by telling him they can talk about the details later after exchanging greetings

she cuts off the connection sidin comments on how his sister has become quite an impressive person to which Dane agrees mentioning that the artifact in front of them was also made by her he adds that this compact crystal ball is trendy among young Mages the old man smiles and admits it's quite impressive but we can also see the frustration on his face as he says he doesn't need such an item he explains that when you reach the eighth chain wasting time talking to people is not something Mages do Dane can sense why the old man

is saying this the fact that this old cot doesn't want a trendy item like that only hints at the fact that he doesn't have any friends later danne spills everything to his parents about the ancient magic and his mother looks quite concerned to hear this but his father reassures them that if anyone targets danne they'll make them pay his mother agrees saying she won't hold back when it comes to the safety of her son once again DNE feels a bit uncomfortable with their intense protective instincts but he has to admit there's nothing safer than being

looked after by the two of them srees then states that if what danne said is true does that mean their lineage holds latent ancient magic his wife acknowledges this and also wants to know if any of their ancestors had it she decides to check on her side of the family first the matter is quite intriguing and danne can't help but wonder what could be Unearthed if both sides of the family dug into this though it's not really important to him it still makes him curious anyhow his mother reminds him that he's already surpassed his limits

in many ways if he continues to stay here it might hinder his growth so he should consider slowly making his way to the capital the mention of the capital startles him and his parents further remind him that he needs to be at least 14 years old to enter the academy now that he's at that age he shouldn't waste any more time SRE makes it clear that he wanted to keep danne for another year or two before sending him off but it doesn't look like there's anything left for him to learn here his mother reassuringly puts

her hand over his and tells him he can leave whenever he wants emphasizing that the decision is entirely his to make danne is surprised to see this because he wasn't expecting them to have already come to terms with the fact that he needs to leave this place his father is confident that his son will make him proud and encourages him to go and indulge in his talents to his heart's content Smiles at this saying he understands what they're both saying and he promises to prepare for entering the academy the family of three smiles as the

decision is finalized and by now danne is also hyped up to finally transition to the next level in his life later danne fills s drain in on his decision to leave the Mansion the old man asks if this is really his choice to leave and DNE confirms it though he admits it's a bit sooner than he had initially planned the old man then also expresses his support for danne's decision saying that having his talent restricted here would be a waste of potential he also gives danne a word of advice not to reveal too much about

his talents all at once to other people while the academy welcomes Talent not everyone thinks that way and there are people who might get jealous danne is already aware of this though because Arabella had warned him about it and mentioned some outrageous situations she had encountered herself the old man further states that it's hard for mediocre people to thrive in the academy given the atmosphere but he assures DNE that house thermion isn't one of them speaking of house thermion danne quickly remembers Lila and the promise he made to visit her once he gets to the

capital he knows that if he doesn't visit she would be greatly disappointed in him he also recalls the crest Duke theran gave him so he plans to think about what kind of weapon he wants before heading there the old man then reminds him that there are 3 months until he enters the academy so he should plan to depart from here in 2 months danne acknowledges this and Returns the question asking the old man about his own plans sidin replies that he's going to return to the magic Tower because he has something he needs to take

care of of he expresses his gratitude to DNE for helping him resolve his boredom and as a gesture of Goodwill he wants to return the favor by letting danne know about any clues regarding this ancient magic danne is quite grateful to hear this the old man points out that now that DNE has only a short time left here the lesson should be the major concern for him sidin wants to accelerate the process to finish the lessons before time but he warns Dayne that the third chain is considerably more difficult than the second chain danne promises

to study hard to reach that level danne then says that he has prepared a gift for the old man sidin perks up at this clearly curious about what the gift might be danne promptly pulls out a box and tells the old man that heed this yesterday from his sister using teleportation magic he explains that it's a very hot item among young people right now and this particular model is a new compact crystal ball that hasn't even been released yet he adds that Arabella developed this new product and he pulled some strings to get it as

a favor the old man quickly picks up the stone and he looks absolutely excited to have it for himself he compliments how pretty the stone looks although he claims he doesn't need something like this he still says he will graciously accept the gift DNE has prepared no matter how much the old man denies it the look on his face makes it clear that he's totally thrilled to have this product for himself DNE then spends his time explaining to the old man how to use the crystal just like any teenager would teach their Grandma as Knight

descends and he gets back into his room he reflects on how he has a lot to do in the little two months he has left he reveals to us that his main interest lies in summoning so he decides to make it his goal to officially take classes in summoning get issued a summoning sign and have a chance to take the qualification exam since CLA is an assistant professor he's hopeful he might see her often when he's attending classes speaking of summoning he remembers that he nearly forgot to imbue magic into his familiar so he promptly

grabs the egg and transfers some of his magic into it you see for seven years straight DNE has diligently imbued magic into the egg every morning and night but there's still no response however since the magic he's imbu isn't going any anywhere else and is being absorbed by The Familiar he's sure that the egg will hatch someday the next scene transitions to the academy where students are chatting about the enrollment exams which come in the form of two tests one is a common exam while the second is a specialization exam the common exam is a

type of prep exam focused on insights into the Empire's culture history and more but DNE should have no problem with it Arabella fills her brother in on the details through the Crystal and reassures him that doing well on this exam is important since it'll reflect on his ad score after that there's the specialization exam as the name suggests you have to pick a major and take a test and the content is up to the professor but Arabella is confident that this part will be a piece of cake for him too danne remembers that Arabella passed

that test pretty easily and she just Smiles saying yep it was a piece of cake for me she then reveals that once he picks a major he can't change it so he has to choose carefully from the start she mentions that she would really appreciate him if he chose magic as danne swings his sword on the training grounds he can't help but crack an awkward smile at how she still hasn't given up on trying to persuade him to join the magic program to brush her off he tells her that he'll think about it then he

asks if there's really no other way to change his major after enrolling like she mentioned Arabella explains that's usually how it works the only real option is to graduate and then come back though he can still take classes from other Majors but once he's in his third year they usually don't allow non- Majors to take upper level classes for a different major in other words he's got one shot to pick a major she also explains that for someone as talented as him there's an autonomous major system danne is pretty fascinated to hear this and asks

how it's different from the regular Majors his sister casually tells him that unless he plans on failing she'd advise against applying there because no one has ever managed to pass that exam so far but it seems like danne's already set his sights on it and the way he pauses for a moment tells his sister he's actually considering something daring but he quickly assures her that he's not going to do anything Reckless and with that he decides to contact her later once the call ends Arabella wonders if she's being too pushy about him joining the magic

program still she thinks it's the best choice he's got just then a student approaches her to say the professor is looking for her later we see Sedin has prepared a recommendation letter for danne just like he promised and danne is really happy to see that he actually wrote it for him the old man feels proud as he tells DNE that he put extra thought and Care into crafting the recommendation letter he didn't just write the usual generic lines instead he made sure it looked impressive and that the words truly reflected danne's strength and potential for

sidin it was a sincere effort to support DNE something he doesn't always do to this extent so he advises DNE to feel somewhat honored DNE quickly smiles and Promises to drain that he'll live up to his expectations but the old man grumbles a bit annoyed that it would have been so much better if danne had agreed to become his disciple he says their current relationship is technically that of a disciple and master but he's not sure if danne will ever acknowledge him as a true Master well it seems the old man might have a point

because the awkward smile danne gives shows that he really doesn't want to think of him that way anyway the old man asks if danne has finished his preparations to which danne confirms that there's not much he needs to take with him he mentions that the academy dormitories are equipped with everything they need sidin does agree that the facilities are great there however he adds that only a select few have a monopoly over them and with that said there's no way danne would lose to those arrogant Nobles DNE laughs awkwardly because from what he's heard the

academy has become a bit of A Gathering Place for the thugs of the Nobles C warns him to keep one thing in mind that place is where numerous kids will bear their fangs if they think he's looking down on them danne reflects on this and realizes it's just like the law of the battlefield something he's quite familiar with he assures the old man that he'll keep that in mind sidin then gives him permission to contact him whenever he needs anything now that he has got that compact Crystal he better make good use of it hearing

this danne figures out that sidin must be leaving soon to which the old man quickly agrees and he is quite surprised that DNE can guess it correctly he reminds DNE that it would be Troublesome for him to stay here since his father has offered him a position as a mage adviser but that's something to think about later when he truly has nothing else to do sidin is sure that DNE will understand his situation especially since there's a lot that needs to be done in the magic Tower it doesn't take long for danne to realize he

must be talking about researching ancient magic the old man then thanks DNE and our boy Returns the gesture thanking the old coot for all the time he's invested in a kid like him they both share a smile looking forward to seeing each other again and the old cot can't wait to see how much danne is going to grow in the future with that the old man begins to walk away telling Dane not to come out to see him off as it would be a bit awkward DNE wishes him a safe trip but he can't help

feeling a bit sad inside he's grown quite close to this old man the next day danne's father asks him if he's going to leave now that sidin has departed safely DNE confirms that he's finished all his preparations his father then remarks to his wife that with their son leaving too the castle will feel very empty but his wife quickly reassures him not to feel too sad about it on the contrary she's relieved danne is finally setting off her main concern is that she doesn't want him to face any difficulties on his journey to the academy

her husband assures her that since DNE will be using the teleport gate that Arabella arranged nothing should go wrong the doting mother Smiles admitting she's just worrying over nothing after all in any case she feels really proud of herself for raising their kids well especially compared to other houses where children are busy fighting each other over succession the father comments that the day will come for the sra's house as well and they'll have to make a decision but he believes that no matter which of the siblings steps up anyone would be suitable for succession right

at that moment DNE walks into the room and his parents greet him pleasantly his father asks if he's ready to leave while his mother asks if he's taking nighorn and the mark she gave him danne smiles back at them with a bright smile confirming that he has them both his mother then reminds him to take the mark to the place she told him about and show it to them whenever he thinks he needs help getting out of trouble danne acknowledges this saying he'll keep it in mind though he's curious about those people wondering if they're

her former colleagues or friends to which his mother says they're indeed some of her closest colleagues she mentions that it's been quite a while since she last saw them but she's sure they'd be more than willing to help as soon as count sras hears the conversation between mother and son his face tenses looking almost like he's going through serious constipation he's worried that if danne follows his mother's advice he might end up on the path of a full-fledged assassin so he quickly speaks up telling his son to find Duke theran as soon as he arrives

in the capital the Duke will help him until he enters the academy at this danne's doting mother begins to shed tears sorrowful to see how her son has grown up and is now leaving her husband gently reminds her that there's no need for tears and suggests she send him off with smiles and good wishes instead meanwhile danne steals his courage even though he'd planned to leave he'd always felt a bit reluctant but now it's finally time to set off Herman then escorts him to the teleportation gate while his father watches from a window we also

see a shady figure working under the count sra's command the count tells his man gillad to tail danne as carefully as possible and make sure he reaches the teleport gate safely gillad acknowledges the order and gets moving meanwhile in another room of the castle danne's doing mother has also summoned her familiar known as Shadow as expected she gives him the same command as SRA gave to his man which is to ensure that danne teleport safely Shadow takes the order and immediately sets off once danne arrives at the portal site Herman is shocked to see the

massive machine for the first time and it's huge danne also acknowledges how truly magnificent it is the butler comments on how Lady Arabella seems like an amazing person to which danne agrees saying he can see why it took her a whole year to build this excitedly the butler asks if just stepping onto the platform will activate the teleportation danne confirms this with a yes he Marvels at how much effort she must have poured into it because teleportation magic isn't like other kinds it requires precise arrangement of codes and the magic has to be continuously imbued

while the code is rearranged before casting can finally become possible the gate that Arabella installed is a perfect device where all the teleportation conditions have been met Herman then wishes him good luck and tells him to take care of himself DNE reciprocates the gesture and starts walking toward the portal as soon as he steps inside he decides to pour magic into the gate to activate it just as his sister suggested once he does this the gate opens up and an Arcane blue energy engulfs him as the teleportation takes place the scene transitions to a bustling

Street where everyone is going about their lives in the middle of it all we see our boy on his horse a big smile spreads across his face as he realizes this is the entrance to the capital city artinia as he makes his way through the crowd an unfamiliar voice calls out to him stating that he's been waiting for him the man before him appears to be a knight and he promptly introduces himself as luck Asmar captain of the first core of knights for house theran seeing the captain of the knights personally come out to greet

him is a bit overwhelming for DNE he never expected expected this to happen the Knight states that he and his Entourage will escort DNE from this point onward at that moment he turns his head around and orders his Knights to secure the route and the soldiers acknowledge the orders without a shred of Doubt as they walk danne is glad to be in luck asmar's care and the Knight feels honored to escort him DNE starts to feel a strange sensation in his chest he never thought he would enter the heart of the very aeon Empire he

had hated so much and here he is as the most promising person to boot as they move deeper into the town Dane hears ped trying to sell their goods and he's quite surprised to see that this place actually has everything he hadn't expected the capital to be this bustling the Knight then reveals that they are finally walking through house Thurman's estate this perks danne up and as he looks ahead he's absolutely boggled by the magnificence of the place however he can't shake the feeling that something is off as if someone is watching him making him

dare to say he understands how Laya feels about it 2 days later we find ourselves back at the Academy the host greets all the freshmen of the Imperial Academy and introduces himself as the Academy's Headmaster arwald homet he praises the new students who have made it to this prestigious position after enduring Fierce competition he believes the future of the Empire is very bright and that everyone standing here is a talent of the Empire among the new students this year there seem to be many particularly outstanding ones but there is also an extraordinary student among those

outstanding individuals someone who passed the autonomous major exam including this newly qualified student there are only two people who have passed it in the last 100 years the student in question passed the auton on us major exam by receiving unanimous approval from the three deans of the magic spearmans ship and summoning departments everyone goes absolutely wild upon hearing that someone passed the autonomous major test something they could hardly fathom the Headmaster then calls the top student danne sres to step forward danne walks towards the stage with full swag while the Crowd Goes Wild amazed that

this young brat is the one who passed the autonomous major exam everyone in the crowd is talking about DNE and the sres family and among them is Count sres himself accompanied by other family members Duke theran standing nearby is quite smitten as he compliments sres for raising such an extraordinary child he feels disappointed in himself thinking that he's achieved absolutely nothing after raising two sons his daughter is entering the academy but neither of his sons even bothers to show up the eldest is off on a mission and the second ran away on the other hand

srees has everything turned around with his two daughters and theran can't help but feel a bit envious as he looks at his daughter he feels quite dejected and sorrowful he regrets that her mother couldn't be here to witness her special day while danne stands in the spotlight All Eyes glued to him Delino quickly asks danne's sister if DNE had always gotten along with her summons from a young age her sister responds quickly and positively as though the answer was obvious Delano had expected this response and is now even more certain that DNE has an innate

friendliness something he's likely had since birth Delino reflects on the situation thinking that danne is a rare case he is far better than most Summoners despite lacking any visible sign of a summon the sister then wonders aloud if danne's high level of friendliness would allow him to summon creatures from Beyond the Horizon to understand this question a bit of context is needed Beyond the Horizon refers to another world one from which summons once came the link to that world had been lost over a 100 years ago Delano finally concludes that it's possible he believes the

summons from that world have the ability to choose their Summoners which could make such a feat more than achievable meanwhile the principal steps up to DNE finally meeting him face to face he hands our boy a piece of paper while expressing his high hopes that this extraordinary student will demonstrate his full talents at the Academy Dane proudly grabs the paper and acknowledges it with a smile meanwhile all the scattered students gather and form a line for the oath swearing ceremony led by the firste representative later we see danne completely lost in his own pleasant thoughts

basking in the glow of his first major achievement he's finally made it into the academy it took quite a bit of time and effort to get here but he's determined not to waste this second chance at life this is just the beginning and he's ready to achieve so much more the next scene takes us to the Academy's main Auditorium a few Representatives wrap up their introductory speeches about the academy and the students are given a short break before the next scheduled activity they're invited to grab some snacks prepared at the back and rest comfortably during

the break Lila acting like a concerned wife starts lecturing DNE she warns him that now with his success plenty of people will be watching him some with good intentions others with bad she advises him to be careful care f with any offers and to think things through as she keeps yapping danne waves her worries off insisting he already knows how to handle himself but Leela doesn't stop she brings up the topic of clubs reminding him about their importance DNE however makes it clear he's not interested in any of them by now senior students have already

started scouting for talented freshmen hoping to recruit them for their clubs and activities now that he thinks about it danne remembers his eldest sister mentioning how there are tons of fun clubs at the Academy suddenly some eager senior shouts to Dan's name in order to recruit him in his Club in no time a crowd forms and they're all swarming toward DNE shouting over each other to get him to join their clubs within minutes the scene turns chaotic but Lila quickly grabs danne's hand and bolts dragging him along as she runs to escape the madness unfortunately

their Escape Route is blocked by some jackasses who are just as desperate to recruit DNE for their Club the entire Place descends into chaos students are yelling pitching their clubs with wild enthusiasm while Lila is running as if her life depends on it pulling danne with her despite her speed the crowd is Relentless and begins chasing after them DNE while running can't help but think about how this feels oddly familiar sure he's used to being pursued by enemy soldiers but being chased like this just for being the top student is a one-of-a-kind experience the scene

transitions to another part of the academy where we meet kelus Redfield he's walking quietly minding his own business in the background a group of senior students Whispers among themselves glancing toward kelus it's clear he has a reputation though what kind we're about to find out apparently kelus has returned from his position as the commander of the Imperial Knights and immediately took on a role as a professor he's revered as one of the best most amazing professors at the Academy though kelus does not want to be a role model teacher at all from this point onward

his worries are going to increase because his life of comfort is about to end all because there's a new student in the autonomous department for the first time in decades until now kelus had it easy he could casually write papers and still achieve decent results but now he'll have to prepare actual classes the perspective shifts to kelus himself who's quietly thinking it's about time the freshman orientation wraps up it seems he's not thrilled about someone joining the autonomous department and what annoys him the most is that someone had to join the department when he is

acting as head of the autonomous Department soon he notices DNE standing just outside his office he calls out to him surprised by how early Dane has arrived our boy does not forget his manners and greets his Professor respectfully once they settle into the office we get a glimpse of Kel's inner monologue he's clearly irritated he worked hard to get to this position all so he could enjoy some peace and quiet teaching students was never part of the plan if he wanted to instruct someone he'd have stayed in the night order he's had enough of that

anyway now that there's no turning back kelus turns to DNE and asks why he chose to apply to the autonomous Department to which our boy simply responds that he simply does not want to be bound to a particular field kelus follows up by another question asks if he plans to choose a specific field later danne responds positively agreeing that he'll eventually pick something but for now he doesn't want to miss out on the great opportunity to study in the autonomous Department kelus looks a bit annoyed as it seems like if this continues he'll be stuck

teaching DNE but then a glimmer of Hope Sparks in his mind when he remembers that DNE didn't take the swordsmanship test the fact that this student skipped the test means he's not confident in that area kelus sees his chance and asks our boy if he knows anything about swordsmanship of course this catches DNE off guard the question is completely unexpected and he's a bit puzzled kelus quickly clarifies that he's not trying to insult him but as a student in the autonomous department and with him being the professor he believes danne should know something about swordsmanship

it's a strange request and danne can exactly tell that his teacher isn't exactly thrilled to see him here so danne keeps it simple and straightforward telling his teacher that he's not interested in swordsmanship this is the moment kelus has been waiting for he's quick to seize the opportunity telling danne that he wants to test his abilities you see kelus has the authority to evaluate DNE and if our boy's swordsmanship is as poor as he suspects this lousy Professor can use it as an excuse to make him leave the department kelus decides to head to the

training grounds to test danne's aptitude in swordsmanship once they arrive the professor gestures toward the array of Swords lining the walls and tells Dane to choose any weapon he likes our boy begins browsing through the Staggering collection of blades as he looks at the plethora of Swords he can't help but wonder how a training room like this even exists in a place meant for academics and most of all why is there so much Weaponry when there haven't been any autonomous Department students in decades after a few moments danne shrugs and picks a sword at random

kelus is not sure about the sword he chose but danne responds affirmatively showing no signs of second guessing himself with the weapon selected kelus lays out the rules it's pretty simple if Dane can tag him even once he passes to make it easier for his student kelus imposes a restriction on himself which is that he won't move more than two steps during the bout danne agrees to the terms without hesitation and the two of them take their positions facing each other to start the round kelus feels relieved as well as concerned he's relieved that DNE

accepted the conditions so readily but at the same time it's unsettling DNE didn't hesitate at all almost as if he's confident he'll win once the match begins danne dashes straight toward kelus he swings the blade in an attempt to tag his teacher but kelus easily sidesteps out of the way though he dodged the strike with little effort the professor can't help but notice something danne is fast faster than he expected for a moment he starts to believe that maybe this boy really is qualified to be an autonomous student but there's no time to dwell on

that thought DNE presses on with Relentless swings each one more precise than the last at one point kelus finds himself mere inches away from being tagged and the realization sends a chill down his spine when danne swings again kelus is forced to draw his own sword to block the attack if he'd moved even a fraction of a second slower the match could have ended right there and not in his favor what's more surprising is danne's swordsmanship it's unconventional almost wild but undeniably effective celus is now convinced that this boy might actually know how to wield

a sword it's clear that this isn't just beginner's luck danne is unpredictable and that makes him dangerous after this rapid round danne steps back Breathing heavily kelus watches him closely and something about our boy stance leaves him bewildered it stir a memory of a swordsman he once saw on the battlefield what puzzles kelus the most is that danne's posture isn't the polished textbook perfect stance of a night order Soldier or a Noble House swordsman it's rough unconventional something born out of raw experience rather than formal training but there's no time to dwell on it danne

charges again and their blades Clash once more the speed at which they exchanging blows is astonishing their movements blur into Silhouettes the clashing steel ringing out in a wild Symphony kelus can't believe what he's seeing none of this makes sense this wasn't something he expected not in his wildest imagination he's a hexa class swordsman one of the most elite yet here he is having to concentrate a significant amount of Mana just to keep up with a 14-year-old kid it's both frustrating and thrilling a testament to danne's potential but also a challenge kelus never thought he'd

face in a simple evaluation he even starts to Flinch on his feet despite his best efforts to stick to the two-step restriction he promised each swing from DNE feels heavier and the way our boy fights tugs at something in his memory It's oddly familiar celas's mind flashes back to the battlefield where he once faced a lone Knight with the same wild unyielding energy he remembers how shocked he was to see such a courageous Warrior someone who fought with Reckless abandon showing no Allegiance through Coats of Arms or Flags the madman tore through the battlefield a

force of chaos that everyone struggled to handle as the memory Fades kelus snaps back to the present just in time to feel the cold tap of danne's Blade against him he's been tagged danne cracks a small smile at the victory but doesn't laugh especially since it would be insulting to his teacher instead he innocently States I think my sword hit you as much as kelus hates to admit it A promise is a promise he gives danne a reluctant pass meanwhile DNE finally relaxes as well it was no easy feat keeping up with kelus if it

hadn't been for the handicap the professor imposed on himself DNE is sure he wouldn't have stood a chance meanwhile kelus is equally overwhelmed he can't deny the ridiculous Talent hidden inside this boy even with the handicap danne should never have been able to push back against a hexa class Professor like himself he now understands why danne wasn't nervous about the swordsmanship test with this kind of talent it's no wonder he turns to danne and asks him why he didn't apply to the swordsmanship department instead danne replies simply that he thought his family would be sad

kelus is confused to hear this as this remark doesn't make much sense but now that he thinks about it danne's father is a genius Spearman and his sisters are skilled in Magic and summoning it becomes clear why danne applied to the three departments he was trying to fulfill his family's expectations now kelus finally realizes the truth the hard way it wasn't that that danne lacked confidence in swordsmanship it was that he simply didn't want to practice it with the evaluation over our boy gets the permission to leave he bows his head respectfully thanks kelus and

quietly exits as the professor watches him go a harsh reality Dawn on him that his plan to chase this boy away and continue his comfortable life has failed there's no easy way out now as the door shuts kelus closes his eyes his mind drifts back to the past where he recalls a conversation he had with his fellow he asked his fellow about the night in front of it and his fellow responded that he is arri later danne meets his second sister who is pretty bewildered to learn that he passed the test as far as she

knows Professor kelas isn't the kind of person to let anyone pass so easily you see that Professor has only ever attended one faculty meeting and even that was because the Headmaster called him personally he absolutely hates being bothered basically he does whatever he wants and that's exactly why she was so worried about her brother she's relieved nothing happened to him her comment gets Dane thinking nor normally his second sister would have celebrated his victory but instead she just looks relieved that he's safe it's one of the reasons he likes her she genuinely cares about his

well-being finally his eldest sister shows up running to him just as the trio of siblings is catching up Whispers Start Spreading through the students everyone's amazed to see all the children of house srees in one place people always thought the house was impressive with just Arabella and CLA but now the youngest is proving to be just as remarkable as his sisters later we meet a senior named Max how who introduced uces himself to DNE he explains that he's in charge of all the general operations for the dormitories the dorms are divided into three halls with

students assigned based on their grades the best Hall is dant Hall named after the first emperor since danne is the top student and passed the autonomous major exam Max reveals that he'll be staying in dant Hall he goes on to describe the impressive facilities restaurants training rooms libraries lounges and even magic projection rooms and then there's the mention of secret facilities d has no idea what those are about but he doesn't press the issue and just listens as Max continues to explain the senior also explains that while danne won't need to worry about this there

are cases where students have to leave dant Hall if their grades drop he adds that Arabella and Clare stayed in dant Hall until they graduated a feat in itself and one more reason the sra's name carries so much weight with everything laid out Max hands danne the key to his apartment mentioning there's a spare if Dane ever loses it he can come back and get a replacement the senior also warns his Junior about the strange students around here they're not bad he says but sometimes you'll find yourself wondering what's wrong with them Max suggests he

check out the details himself and assures him that if he has any questions he can contact him through the crystal ball with that DNE heads off to his room as he walks he can't help but notice how lavish the place is but there's something off about it too he doesn't sense a single human presence it's as if everyone just evaporated Into Thin Air feeling uneasy he decides to spread out his senses almost immediately he picks up on a faint whiff of lubricating oil brushing against his nose and the barely audible squeaking of turning gears from

just that much information it becomes clear to him that this is a trap and he's already stepped right into it but instead of panicking my guy just smirks to see such a lousy attempt being made on him the Thugs who tried to make this are watching everything through this window they got no clue why danne has stopped moving which makes them wonder if he has caught on that he has fallen for a trap but the guy with glasses Arnold states that there is absolutely no way because as he claims it the cards have been hunters

for hundreds of years so they are very good at setting traps he is actually the eldest son of the colored Barony Arnold colard third-year student of the shooting Department one of the students fears that it might be a dangerous prank but Arnold assures his timid friend that he removed all the danger already this is the first time he is going to have such a hazing so he is excited but some of these guys are not sure if picking on someone from house srees is a good idea Arnold just reminds them that they all have gone

through tremendous hazings so he just looks forward to this one and he is sure that danne is going to end up a complete mess one of the female students Priscilla nariel a fourthe student in the theology Department from house nariel raises a concern since he's the top student and autonomous she worries this hazing won't be like previous ones not to mention both of his sisters are geniuses and if he's an autonomous student he'll be an even greater genius some are even doubtful about whether the traps they've set will work but Arnold is certain danne couldn't

have sensed the traps he made sure to paint the Trap traps to hide them and even lubricated them to prevent any mechanical sounds finally danne begins to move forward which fills these idiots with absolute joy since my guy knows where all the traps are set he intentionally triggers the first one a water balloon descends but DNE who already expected this to fall obliterates it with a Mana bullet then comes the next trap a smelly one with a truly horrendous odor Arnold is losing his mind unable to believe danne has found all the traps he insists

it's just a coincidence Priscilla narel isn't so that it's just a coincidence but Arnold assures her he placed the easy traps at the beginning as an appetizer saving the big one for last he's confident Dane will fall for it while his other two friends decide to have a little faith in Arnold's traps Priscilla remains skeptical and just as expected my guy trudges through these traps like they're nothing ready to face whatever comes next
