Gratitude promotes balance. And balance is synonymous with health, that's why it's so interesting. Balance is synonymous with health , which is synonymous with happiness when we talk about mental health.
Gratitude becomes a scale we all have that is tipped towards the negative. If I win 100 reais or if I lose 100 reais, losing 100 reais triggers much more stimuli in my brain spontaneously than winning 100 reais. If I don't get a hug and I get a hug, not getting a hug, the rejection caused by that causes many more reactions in my brain and body .
That's how our brain works spontaneously, it's easy. You notice in your day, your day goes all right, something bad happens, what happens? The whole day was bad.
When we do and make the exercise of gratitude daily, continuous. . .
When you can tell in the little things; "The light is now on. " "You and I are alive. " "The camera is working.
" This seems banal and it's not, when I do this exercise the day becomes lighter or at least I take stock of this negative that in fact you will realize that it is much smaller than it seems and the positive much greater. The practice of gratitude is a disposition of our heart. It's not just any simple action .
It's a lifestyle. I also learned that the person who is grateful is a happy person, normally he is a happy person. It's just that no one is born knowing.

Gratitude makes that at that moment everything I have and not what I already had or what I'm going to have is enough for me to feel privileged so that I don't take something that seems banal, as banal because nothing is banal . Our meeting, the report, the television. .

That doesn't mean you can't dream more, you can't say you can't want more things, but definitely think that because you already have it, it's not valuable or worthless, it's a waste of being alive. And the cool thing about the race is not the arrival, it's exactly your race, so in that first moment you choose the people, the right partners, the people who dream of you and who will lift you up like a balloon and not weigh you down like an anchor, it does much difference.
The more grateful I am, the more content I am with my current situation. I'm not comparing myself to the past, I'm not looking forward to the future, I'm here and now and that's the only mind time there is. When I get lost in the past or lost in the future, I increase my risk of anxiety and depression.
That's why the exercise of gratitude can even be a treatment or prevention for anxiety and depression. My feeling when I'm grateful is one of belonging. Send a thank you by audio or message now on your phone to someone you've wanted to thank for a long time and that you just let it pass.
See the delight that will be the answer she will give and the feeling you will get back when she returns to you. It's not that you have to wait for the return, you don't wait, you just send it for the sake of it.
